Aqlamuna: Journal of Educational Studies is a peer-reviewed academic journal published biannually June and December by Sekolah Tinggi Agama Islam Darul Ulum Banyuanyar Pamekasan presents research and development in the field of education, with special reference to curriculum and learning, management, technology, sociology, anthropology, psychology, language, and Islamic education. The journal invites articles that have never been published elsewhere. Please see Author Guidelines for information regarding the process of publication in the journal. The language used in this journal are Indonesian and English and Arabic. The review process in this journal employs a double-blind review, which means that both the reviewer and author identities are concealed from the reviewers, and vice versa.

Changes or updates to the curriculum are necessary because in fact the times are constantly developing and experiencing changes. Indirectly, the personality of students also experiences changes so that education must also make adaptations so that it can prepare the next generation that is able to compete in the future. Likewise in learning Arabic at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (MAN) Bangkalan continues to innovate, especially in the Arabic teaching materials. However, the problems in the Arabic learning process faced by teachers and students continue even though Arabic books use publications from the Directorate General of Islamic Education, Ministry of Religion of the Republic of Indonesia in 2020 which refer to the curriculum 2013. The purpose of this research is to analyze and reveal problems in using books of Arabic Language in Curriculum 2013. This research method is a qualitative descriptive approach by means of observation, interviews with teachers and students and documentation in class XI MAN Bangkalan Academic Year 2022/2023. The results of this research are the use of Arabic books meets the good criteria, the teacher uses them according to the instructions in the book and the book is also equipped with four competencies as subject matter in Arabic language. However, students still feel the problems in terms of vocabulary that is difficult to understand, grammar (qawaid of arabic) which lacks explanation, meaningless Arabic texts, the difficulty of determining fi'il-fa'il sentences in reading (qira'ah) material, and the lack of explanation about listening (istima').

Students are the next generation of the nation who must be equipped with a lot of knowledge. Education in tertiary institutions should be able to motivate them to develop their potential properly. In addition, they must also be equipped with insight on how to live in society and care for the surrounding environment. However, in reality efforts to build student character are still considered not more important than other educational materials. Thus, until now it is common to find college graduates who experience social shock when they are involved in society. Character formation can be used as an alternative solution in solving these problems. In this case the values of Islamic education and social character play a very dominant role in social life. This study uses a qualitative approach to the type of field research. The data collection process uses in-depth interviews, participatory observation and documentation. This study aims to find out how the strategy of instilling the values of Islamic education in tertiary institutions to students and the implications for the social character of students. The results of this study indicate that the strategy of instilling the values of Islamic education in shaping the social character of students in the Islamic Religious Education study program at the Riyadlotul Mujahidin Ngabar Ponorogo Islamic Education Study Program is by realizing the curriculum by combining theoretical and practical aspects (daily life). Which is manifested in an integrated manner through: 1) Exemplary Method, 2) Habituation Method, 3) Giving Advice, 4) Giving Attention, and 5) Giving Sanctions. The impact of the strategy of instilling Islamic educational values in shaping the social character of students in the Islamic Religious Education study program at the Riyadlotul Mujahidin Ngabar Ponorogo Islamic Institute has a positive impact. This is evidenced by changes in behavior in the social life of students in a better direction.

The research aims to identify the concept of social networking, as well as identifying the role of social networking in disseminating Islamic education and its sciences, Facebook as a model. It also aims at strategies for using social networking - Facebook - in disseminating Islamic education and its sciences. The research followed the descriptive method as the method used. The research is expected to conclude that social media networks have a great role in spreading Islamic education and its sciences, and that the networks have negatives, including pornography in images, speech, and sound, teaching intellectual extremism, sectarianism, and religious sects. The research suggests conducting further studies on the role of social media networks in disseminating Islamic education and its sciences. Holding seminars, conferences and workshops to highlight the role of social media networks in spreading Islamic education and its sciences. Raising awareness of strategies for using social networks to spread Islamic education and its sciences. Combating the negatives of using social media networks in particular and in Islamic education and sciences in general.

Arabic language its teachers and intellectuals have been facing difficulties and obstacles for a long time in Nigeria, and these difficulties are often related to their profession, Unfortunately, this language has encountered obstacles that impede its tremendous growth and development, Professional problems are among the most challenges facing many teachers of Arabic and Islamic studies in the country. These challenges started from the Nigerian educational policy, where the Arabic language was placed in third place among the foreign languages used in the country, despite the large number of Muslims and those interested in the Arabic language, This is due to the lackadasical attitude of government towards Arabic and Islamic studies teachers, and for this reason it is difficult for them to compete side by side with their counterparts from other fields in terms of professional development. On that basis, this paper aims to discuss the professional problems and obstacles bedeviling Arabic and Islamic studies teachers in Nigeria, and also intends to bring forward some solutions and way forward to that obstacles.

Islamic educational institutions had encountered globalization and modernizations for years. As the Covid-19 pandemic outbreak, the digital transformation became a must as a reaction and adaptation toward the situation and condition. This article investigates the digital teaching and learning on Islamic education institutions and their sustainability in the new normal era. The method applied in this article was qualitative content analysis method. The findings are: 1) Digital teaching and Learning is a new transformation organizing teaching and learning management using digital application. Covid-19 pandemic has taken its toll on all aspect of life, including education, particularly in teaching and learning activities. It went on virtually using various platforms; 2) the application of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) includes not only in the teaching and learning, but also in the evaluation; 3) the global pandemic demands Islamic education institutions to up-date the institutional system and to manage as well as control institutional activities; and 4) the future digital teaching and learning on Islamic education institutions cover sustainability of ICT, sustainability of human resource to adapt with the latest situation, and the sustainability of the institutions’ existence

Abstract: educators have duties and responsibilities for the learning process by conveying knowledge and various beliefs to students so that they implement their knowledge in everyday life. The success of the learning process can be seen from the applied curriculum, the curriculum has two sides, namely as a document and as an implementation. From the problems above, the researcher interpreted and created a title " the role of the teacher in curriculum development islamic education at smps islamic assirojiyah omben sampang." in this study, the researcher used qualitative and data obtained by observation, interviews and documentation. the formulation of the problem in research 1) what is the role of the teacher in the development of Islamic education at smps islamic Assirojiyah Omben Sampang. 2) what are the forms of teacher activity in the development of the Islamic Education curriculum at smps islamic Assirojiyah Omben Sampang. 3) what must be mastered by a teacher in developing the Islamic Education curriculum at smps islamic Assirojiyah Omben Sampang. The analysis of academic supervision was conducted to find out how the process of implementing academic supervision ideally has an impact on improving teacher performance. The research was conducted using a literature review approach that collected data and information from several scientific journal studies that have various characteristics. From the data collection, two big data were drawn which were discussed in general and also comparatively to analyze the academic supervision process comprehensively starting from the planning, implementation, and assessment system of academic supervision. In the findings of this research, it is found that each school has its own uniqueness and method in implementing academic supervision which is expected to help solve problems that have not been resolved so that ideal and quality improvements can be made. Improving teacher performance is expected to improved the quality of learning.

The orientation of Islamic education generally refers to two directions of interest, namely serving Allah SWT and understanding humans as caliphs on earth with various kinds of duties and responsibilities. The focus of this research is prophetic intelligence in growing the potential of Islamic life through the orientation of Islamic education at the Puncak Darussalam Islamic Boarding School and maintaining a good balance of relationships between individual intelligence (Intelligence Quotient), emotional intelligence (Emotional Quotient) and spiritual intelligence (Spiritual Quotient) which is prophetic. The figure of the Prophet Muhammad SAW as uswah hasanah or the best role model for mankind. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with a single case study type. The important findings of this research are: (a) the growth of the potential for students' Islamic life and an environment based on prophetic intelligence (b) the maintenance of a good, balanced relationship between humans and their God as caliph on earth. These findings indicate the importance of Islamic boarding schools responding positively in managing students and their environment in accordance with the orientation of Islamic education and the Islamic boarding school's vision and mission
