Abstract

This study explores the application of the Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) Meta Model to enhance soft communication skills in the context of online gaming, specifically Mobile Legends: Bang Bang. Miscommunication, toxic language, and ineffective collaboration are common issues among players in this competitive multiplayer game. By applying the NLP Meta Model—focusing on linguistic patterns of deletion, distortion, and generalization—this research aims to analyze and improve player interactions. Using a qualitative method involving interviews, observations, and conversation analysis, the study demonstrates how targeted questioning techniques can clarify ambiguous language, promote empathetic responses, and foster constructive dialogue. Findings suggest that the NLP Meta Model can significantly contribute to more effective and respectful communication in digital gaming environments, enhancing teamwork and reducing conflict..

Abstract

This study aimed to examine the factors influencing the intention to perform digital infaq among residents of Banjarmasin. Using a quantitative approach, data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 100 respondents and analyzed using multiple linear regression. The research investigated the impact of eight independent variables: ZIS literacy, religiosity, perceived ease of use, trust, security, usefulness, transparency, and social influence on digital infaq intention. The findings revealed that only perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness had a significant positive effect on the intention to donate digitally. Other variables, including religiosity and trust, showed no statistically significant influence. Furthermore, the results of the simultaneous F-test indicated that the eight variables collectively did not significantly affect the intention to perform digital infaq. These results highlight the importance of user-centered design and practical benefits in promoting digital charitable behavior. The study suggests that digital infaq platforms must enhance usability and perceived value to effectively encourage participation, rather than relying solely on religious or social motivations

Abstract

This research examines how students at Universitas Negeri Medan (UNIMED) express their opinions through Instagram, focusing on the @semaunimed.id account managed by the Student Senate. Using qualitative content analysis, this study explores the themes, communication styles, and emotional framing found in students' comments. The findings show that students often use sarcasm, humor, and informal language to voice their concerns, especially on issues such as academic policies and campus facilities. Sarcasm emerged as the most dominant style (33%), while negative emotional framing appeared in 60% of the analyzed comments, indicating a tendency towards dissatisfaction and criticism. However, positive expressions of support and constructive feedback also appeared. Using the theoretical framework from Norton, Gudykunst, and Entman, this study shows that Instagram not only serves as a platform for informal dialog, but also as a space for advocacy, institutional accountability, and student participation in higher education discourse.

Abstract

Mirroring is a behavioral phenomenon that helps foster connection and communication by prompting individuals to unconsciously mimic the words, body language, or facial expressions of their interlocutors. This study aims to examine the realization and application of NLP mirroring patterns in host and guest interactions on Therapuss with Jake Shane. Drawing upon the mirroring theory by Shlomo Vaknin (2008), this study utilizes a qualitative content analysis approach to identify and analyze the use of behavioral, symbolical, and exchanged match mirroring in conversations between Jake Shane (host) and Rose, Larray, and Tate (guests). According to the results, behavioral mirroring accounts for 61.22% of mirroring instances, symbolic mirroring for 30.61%, and exchanged matches for 8.16%. Behavioral mirroring is used most frequently, reflecting the repetition of words and gestures during interaction. These findings highlight the significance of mirroring in interpersonal communication, demonstrating its role in strengthening social bonds and shaping interpersonal exchanges. This study aims to contribute to a greater understanding of how NLP mirroring mechanisms are applied in digital media interactions.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of Good Corporate Governance on corporate zakat with profitability as an intervening variable at Islamic Commercial Banks in Indonesia during the period 2020-2024. This study uses a quantitative approach with the path analysis method processed using WarpPLS 6.0 software. The sample was selected through purposive sampling method of three banks that consistently reported their corporate zakat. The results showed that Good Corporate Governance has a significant negative effect on profitability, but has no significant effect on corporate zakat. On the other hand, profitability has a significant positive effect on corporate zakat. In addition, Good Corporate Governance is also proven to have an indirect effect on corporate zakat through profitability as a mediating variable. These findings indicate that the implementation of good corporate governance must be supported by improved financial performance so that social obligations such as zakat can be realized optimally.

Abstract

In the digital era, effective communication is crucial for advancing climate action within the framework of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This study examines the application of anchoring strategy techniques through a linguistic approach to enhance climate change communication. By analysing digital content such as social media posts, videos, and captions the research identifies the impact of comparative, basic, counter, and debiasing anchoring strategies on audience engagement. Quantitative analysis of interactions (likes, comments, and shares) reveals that strategic semantic framing, persuasive discourse, and pragmatic language use significantly improve message clarity and foster a sense of collective responsibility. The findings suggest that leveraging these linguistic techniques can bridge existing communication gaps, motivate proactive climate behaviour, and support more effective climate action. Future research should explore additional linguistic methods to further refine communication strategies across diverse audiences.

Abstract

This study examines the possibility of recognising Acehnese criminal law as national law in Indonesia, a country known as a constitutional state according to Article 29 of the 1945 Constitution. Through the constitutional guarantee of freedom of religion, this study examines the prospects for the national application of Islamic criminal law in Aceh. The lack of understanding among some members of the public regarding Islamic criminal law has led to the perception that these rules are harsh and inhumane. For example, sharp criticism of the punishment of amputation of the hand in Islamic Sharia often fails to consider the specific conditions that must be met before such a punishment is imposed. The application of Islamic criminal law can be effective, especially if its primary objective is to serve as a deterrent. Conversely, the implementation of this law becomes irrelevant if law enforcement is merely seen as a pragmatic tool or a subject of conceptual debate. A strong constitutional foundation and significant opportunities exist to incorporate Aceh's criminal law into national regulations, given that the 1945 Constitution, particularly Article 29, paragraphs 1 and 2, guarantees freedom of religion.

Abstract

Agriculture has an important role as one of the economic sector that supports economic development in developing countries, including Indonesia. However, the agricultural system in Indonesia has not yet reached its optimal point. The efficiency of production factors utilization is absolutely crucial for farmers. Due to this phenomenon, this study aims to analyze the simultaneous and partial influence of production factors such as land area, capital, and labor on citrus production, and to analyze the economies of scale and economic efficiency of production factors such as land area, capital, and labor in citrus farming. This study used primary data that obtained from interviews with citrus farmers in Kerta Village, Payangan District, Gianyar Regency. The sample was determined using nonprobability sampling with purposive sampling. The sample size was determined with Slovin formula, yielding a sample of 91 citrus farmers. The data analysis technique used was multiple linear regression based on the Cobb-Douglas production function. The results of this study indicate that land area, capital, and labor simultaneously had a significant influence on citrus production. Partially, the land area, capital, and labor had a positive and significant influence on citrus production. The economies of scale in citrus farming were in an increasing return to scale condition, which means that each proportional inputs increase will produce an additional output that is greater than the inputs change. The economic efficiency of the production factors utilization such as land area, capital, and labor in citrus farming was not yet efficient, so the utilization needed to be increased. These results implies the need of strategies to increase citrus production efficiency in order to increase citrus farming productivity.
