Abstract

Teachers have roles and responsibilities that must be carried out in the learning process to educate, direct students. The study aims to analyze the role of Civics teachers in increasing students' interest in learning through problem-based learning innovations at UPTD SMP Negeri 2 Mandrehe Barat. Research method, qualitative method descriptive approach. Data collection techniques: observation, interview, documentation. Informants: principal, Civics teacher, students. Results, conclusions: first, the teacher acts as a facilitator, helping students understand the problem, providing instructions and guiding students to think critically and find solutions to existing problems; second, the obstacles faced, lack of student motivation to follow the learning process, limited learning resources, different student abilities, analyzing problems so that it takes a long time; third, efforts made to overcome obstacles, teachers provide motivation to students, then seek various learning resources by accessing journals, modules, as learning resources.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the role of the family in the formation of character values of responsibility in early childhood at Al-Mahri Kindergarten Medan. This type of research is descriptive with a qualitative approach. The subjects in this study were parents of early childhood, educators, and early childhood at Al-Mahri Kindergarten. Al-Mahri Kindergarten is located at Jl. Pertahanan Komp. Villa Permata Indah Block F no. 3, Marindal Dua, Patumbak District, Deli Serdang Regency, North Sumatra. The sample taken was 11 people. Data collection techniques were by interview with a questionnaire and documentation instrument. The results of the study obtained: 1. Based on the results of the study that has been conducted, the family has carried out its role in the formation of character values of responsibility in early childhood at Al-Mahri Kindergarten Medan. 2. The character values of responsibility have grown in early childhood at Al-Mahri Kindergarten Medan. 3. Parents act as role models, givers of direction, and reinforcers of positive values in children. Some character values that are emphasized in the family include honesty, responsibility, politeness, and cooperation. 4. Cooperation between family and school is very important in the formation of character in early childhood. Schools can provide programs that support character formation, while the family plays a role as a reinforcer at home.

Abstract

The judicial review of Law Number 20 of 2001 in conjunction with Law Number 31 of 1999 on the eradication of corruption in Indonesia faces various dynamics, including legal, political, and social challenges. This study aims to identify the challenges arising in the judicial review process of corruption laws, particularly regarding the policy on the application of Article 2 Paragraph (1) and Article 3 of the Corruption Eradication Law (UU Tipikor), which have led to various issues. It also analyzes the forms of opposition from different parties and proposes legal reforms to enhance the effectiveness of judicial reviews. The findings reveal that the primary challenges include unclear legal norms, political interference, and social resistance. Forms of opposition often arise through judicial reviews, political pressures, and institutional resistance. To address these issues, legal reforms are needed, such as strengthening the legal framework, enhancing the independence of judicial institutions, and broadening public participation. This study contributes to enriching academic discussions on legal reform and anti-corruption efforts in Indonesia.

Abstract

Ki Narto Sabdo is an important figure in Javanese culture, especially in Semarang. During the period from 1945 to 1985, through innovations in the art of wayang kulit puppetry, he successfully preserved, developed, and revitalized the wayang tradition amidst the modernization and socio-political dynamics of Indonesia. As a master puppeteer and innovator in performance styles, Ki Narto Sabdo not only created hundreds of new gending and lakon rich in Javanese moral, spiritual, and philosophical values, but also built a cultural preservation ecosystem. He did this through the establishment of art studios, mentoring young puppeteers, and cross-style collaborations that resulted in the distinctive Semarang wayang. In the context of significant socio-cultural changes in Indonesia from post-independence to the New Order, his contributions not only influenced the continuity of performing arts. Ki Narto Sabdo also played an important role in strengthening wayang kulit as a tool for character education, uniting communities, and driving the local cultural economy. By analyzing in depth the role and influence of Ki Narto Sabdo on the art community, cultural institutions, and the regeneration of wayang kulit artists in Semarang, this research aims to provide a more specific and contextual understanding of cultural heritage preservation strategies.

Abstract

Campursari music is a form of fusion between traditional Javanese music and modern music that has developed rapidly in Yogyakarta since the 1990s. This genre is a symbol of cultural acculturation through musical innovation that is able to bridge local values ​​and developments in the era. This study uses a historical research method with four stages, namely: heuristics (collecting sources), verification (criticizing sources), interpretation (interpreting the meaning of historical data), and historiography (writing history). The focus of the research is directed at the role of important figures such as Manthous and Didi Kempot in shaping and developing the characteristics of Campursari during the period 1990–2019. Manthous introduced Campursari by combining elements of gamelan and Javanese langgam, and maintaining typical musical structures such as pelog, slendro, and tembang macapat. Meanwhile, Didi Kempot presents a new color with a pop-keroncong-dangdut style that is more flexible, emotional, and popular, especially among the younger generation. The differences in the use of instruments, lyrical themes, and musical approaches show the transformation of Campursari from traditional roots to the contemporary realm. Campursari's popularity has increased through mass media and fan communities such as "Sobat Ambyar", which make this genre not only as entertainment, but also as a form of expression of cultural identity. The continuity of Manthous and Didi Kempot's work shows that Campursari is able to adapt, survive, and remain relevant in the modern Indonesian music landscape.

Abstract

The rapid advancement of digital technology has reshaped how students engage with science learning, especially in Generation Z. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of Project-Based Learning (PjBL) integrated with TikTok short video creation on students’ conceptual understanding and learning motivation in environmental change topics. Utilizing a quasi-experimental design with nonequivalent control group, 72 tenth-grade students were divided into an experimental class (PjBL + TikTok) and a control class (PjBL + PowerPoint). Data were collected through multiple-choice tests and motivation questionnaires. The findings reveal that the experimental group significantly outperformed the control group in both cognitive achievement and motivation levels. TikTok-based projects fostered student creativity, collaboration, and visual communication skills, while increasing learning satisfaction. These results indicate that integrating popular social media into PjBL enhances both cognitive and affective domains of learning. The study underscores the pedagogical potential of short-form video platforms to bridge formal education with digital habits, suggesting practical implications for 21st-century learning environments.

Abstract

Education is an effort that is done consciously and planned in creating a learning atmosphere and learning process to develop their potential. Education includes all life experiences that support students to have a desire to learn and to understand and apply all the materials that have been learned. In the world of education, the role of a teacher is needed who plays a major role, especially in schools, namely the PAK teacher. PAK teachers act as facilitators and motivators in increasing students' interest in learning. This study aims to determine the contribution of PAK teachers as facilitators and motivators in increasing students' interest in learning. This research was conducted at SMPK Salib Suci Kloangrotat-Pogon Village, Waigete District, Sikka Regency, and East Nusa Tenggara. The type of research used is qualitative with a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques in this study used three methods, namely observation, interviews and documentation. The results of the study stated that there was a contribution from PAK teachers as facilitators and motivators in increasing students' interest in learning. PAK teachers in carrying out their roles as facilitators and motivators always help students and provide encouragement to increase students' interest in learning.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan antara tingkat keterampilan desain busana dengan hasil belajar desain kolase siswa SMK Pangeran Antasari dengan menggunakan hasil uji linearitas dengan taraf signifikansi 0,609 > signifikansi 0,05. Analisis pengaruh kemampuan mendesain busana terhadap kreativitas siswa dalam menghasilkan desain kolase yang sangat baik. Pada hasil kualitas desain kolase yang dihasilkan oleh siswa berdasarkan tingkat kemampuan mendesain busana juga dapat dikatakan baik dan memuaskan. Untuk menjawab permasalahan penelitian tersebut, penelitian ini menggunakan metode campuran yaitu menggabungkan teknik penelitian kualitatif dan kuantitatif, dengan menggunakan sampel sebanyak 30 siswa SMK Pangeran Antasari.

Abstract

Lansia merupakan kelompok masyarakat yang rentan terhadap berbagai permasalahan kesehatan, sosial, dan ekonomi. Seiring bertambahnya usia, lansia mengalami penurunan fungsi fisik, kognitif dan emosional yang dapat menganggu kualitas hidup mereka sehingga memerlukan perhatian khusus dari keluarga dan kader posyandu lansia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Peran Kader Posyandu Lansia Nuri-v Dalam Mewujudkan Lansia Tangguh di Desa Perdamean Kecamatan Tanjung Morawa Kabupaten Deli Serdang. Teori yang digunakan yaitu teori ketahanan terkait penuaan perkembangan oleh Evelyn Feliciano dkk. Metode penelitian yang digunakan ialah metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deksriptif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah Kepala Desa, Bidan Desa, Kader Posyandu, Lansia, dan keluarga lansia. Penelitian ini menggunakan dua jenis data, yaitu primer dan sekunder. Data primer diperoleh melalui Teknik observasi, wawancara, serta dokumentasi, sedangkan data sekunder dikumpulkan dari berbagai sumber seperti buku, jurnal, artikel, dan situs web yang relevan dengan topik penelitian. Proses analisis data mengikuti pendekatan oleh Miles dan Huberman, yang mencakup tahap redukasi data, penyajian data serta penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kader Posyandu Lansia Nuri-V memiliki peranan penting sebagai penggerak masyarakat, petugas penyuluhan, koordinator, promosi kesehatan, pemberi pertolongan dasar dan sebagai pendokumentasian. Perkembangan lansia setelah mengikuti posyandu lansia semakin menerima terhadap perubahan proses penuaan, merasa lebih percaya diri, penanganan adaftif di posyandu dapat menenangkan psikologis lansia, lansia menjadi tangguh, peningkatan rasa spiritual, peningkatan ketekunan olahraga, peningkatan kenikmatan berinteraksi dengan masyarakat, berfikir positif serta pengetahuan baru tentang hidup sehat. Kader Posyandu lansia Nuri-V menerapkan pelayanan berdasarkan tujuh dimensi lansia setiap kegiatannya, yaitu dimensi spiritual, dimensi fisik, dimensi emosional, dimensi intelektual, dimensi sosial kemasyarakatan, dimensi vokasional dan dimensi lingkungan. Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hasil belajar siswa kelas V Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan (PKn) SDN 101786 Medan Helvetia yang memanfaatkan bahan ajar kartu kata. Hasil belajar siswa Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan (PKn) SDN 101786 Medan Helvetia secara signifikan dipengaruhi oleh kartu kata dan media pembelajaran tradisional. Pra-eksperimen dengan pretes dan posttes satu kelompok adalah jenis eksperimen kuantitatif yang akan digunakan dalam penyelidikan ini. Semua siswa kelas V di SDN 101786 menjadi populasi penelitian. Dua puluh lima siswa kelas V menjadi sampel penelitian. Pretes, perlakuan, observasi, dan tes akhir (posttes) digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data untuk penelitian ini. Setelah perlakuan, siswa kelas V di SDN 101786 Medan yang menggunakan bahan ajar kartu kata untuk mempelajari mata pelajaran Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan (PKn) memiliki skor posttes rata-rata 86,5. “Hasil belajar Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan (PKn) siswa SDN 101786 Medan dipengaruhi secara signifikan oleh Media Pembelajaran Kartu Kata. Berdasarkan perhitungan uji-t, diperoleh nilai t hitung > t tabel yaitu 13,141 > 1.729,13 (n = 20) pada taraf signifikansi 0,05 atau 5% yang berarti Ha diterima dan Ho ditolak.”
