Abstract

John Rawls' Theory of Justice offers a robust conceptual framework for developing fair legal policies, particularly in the context of post-merger and acquisition corporate integration. This article explores Rawls' justice as fairness, focusing on the application of the difference principle to ensure proportional benefit distribution and the equal liberty principle to protect shareholder rights. In corporate integration processes, Rawls' principles emphasize the importance of fair treatment for all stakeholders, especially vulnerable groups such as minority shareholders, through transparency and accountability in decision-making. The article also contextualizes Rawls' theory with Mochtar Kusumaatmadja's developmental legal approach, which views law as a tool to balance economic dynamics and social justice. Using a doctrinal method, this study demonstrates that Rawls' principles provide a philosophical foundation for creating responsive and inclusive corporate regulations. These regulations not only promote economic efficiency but also protect the rights of vulnerable groups, making them relevant to addressing modern legal challenges.

Abstract

Islamic Religious Education (PAI) faces the challenge of developing effective learning models in order to create relevant and quality learning experiences. This study aims to analyze various PAI learning design models that can be implemented in the classroom to improve learning effectiveness. The approach used in this study is descriptive qualitative with a literature study method, where data is collected from various written sources relevant to the topic. The analysis technique applied is content analysis, which aims to evaluate the characteristics, advantages, and disadvantages of each learning model. The results of the study indicate that classroom-oriented, product-oriented, and system-oriented learning design models each have advantages in certain contexts. The classroom-oriented model is effective in creating a conducive learning environment, the product-oriented model supports independent learning with structured teaching materials, and the system-oriented model integrates all learning components to achieve more holistic goals. In conclusion, the selection and implementation of the right learning design model according to the needs of students and the educational context can significantly improve the quality of PAI learning, as well as provide practical contributions to the development of learning methodology in schools.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low interest of students in learning flat building materials in mathematics learning in elementary schools. Geometry material is often considered abstract by students, so contextual and interesting learning media are needed. One alternative that can be used is local culture-based media. This study aims to develop a miniature diorama media of the Batak Karo Traditional House as a learning tool for flat building in grade IV of elementary school and to determine the feasibility of the media based on expert validation, as well as the responses of teachers and students. This research is research and development (Research and Development) with ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The test subjects consisted of grade IV students and teachers at an elementary school in Medan City. The validation results show that the developed media is very feasible to use. Media expert validation obtained a feasibility score of 88%, and material expert validation obtained a score of 87%. The response of teachers and students to the media was also very positive. The use of dioramas based on local culture has been proven to increase students' attraction to the material and facilitate the understanding of geometry concepts. The diorama media of the Batak Karo Traditional House is suitable for use as a thematic learning medium, especially for flat building materials in grade IV of elementary school, as well as a means of preserving local cultural values in education.

Abstract

This study examines efforts to preserve local wisdom, which aims to describe students' and teachers' perceptions, identify challenges, and analyze the process of compiling negotiation texts. Implemented at SMA Karya Ibu Palembang in April-May 2025 with a qualitative approach, data were obtained through surveys and interviews. The results showed that students and teachers had positive perceptions of this activity, although some students experienced vocabulary and topic determination problems. The majority of students succeeded in compiling texts with good structures, but aspects of creativity and language accuracy still need development. This initiative contributed significantly to the preservation of Palembang Malay and improving students' language skills.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of rubber band game media in mathematics learning on the understanding of multiplication concepts in grade II elementary school students. This study uses a quantitative method with a quasi-experimental plan. The population of this study was all grade II students of SD Negeri 10 Tanjung Lago totaling 54 students. The sample of this study was class II A as the experimental class and class II B as the control class. Data collection techniques used were observation, testing, and documentation. The results of this study showed an average posttest score of the experimental class of 86 and a posttest score of the control class of 79. Based on the calculation of the SPSS 22 t-test, the sig value (2-tailed) was obtained at 0.016 <0.05 and the calculated t value was 2.483> 2006. So it can be concluded that Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected, meaning that there is an effect of rubber band game media in children's learning on the understanding of multiplication concepts in grade II elementary school students.

Abstract

Christian Religious Education (PAK) teachers have an important obligation in building students' personalities through the process of teaching Christian values ​​that reflect the life of Jesus Christ. The study discusses building professional ethics of Christian Religious Education teachers: responsibility towards students at SMKN 2 Manokwari, specifically teachers are responsible for students. PAK teachers do not only teach knowledge; but must provide moral and spiritual examples, foster students so that they grow in faith in Jesus, with values ​​(love, justice and equality). Building ethics as a guideline to become role models and teacher professionalism is very important, this study uses a qualitative descriptive method. All PAK teachers have their responsibilities to be responsible for themselves as professionals, moral examples related to the social community and at school effectively, with intellectuals to study teaching materials thoroughly, and moral responsibility and examples of faith. The teacher's code of ethics in any situation can overcome conflict problems with students or parents in order to ensure that learning can run well. The results of this analysis indicate that experienced PAK teachers can create a classroom atmosphere by encouraging students to grow in good character. By having the quality of Christian faith in the existing environment, Education not only improves students' ability to learn, but students can be closer to God. This can ensure that students change morally and spiritually in accordance with Christian teachings, building the professional ethics of PAK teachers at SMKN 2 Manokwari to be important and alive.

Abstract

This study discusses the form of code mixing content creators on the TikTok application. Data in the form of words, phrases, and clauses, the data source of this study is code mixing content creators in the video account @furkysyahroni found in the TikTok application. The data collection method uses the reading method. Basic tapping techniques and advanced reading techniques free from conversational involvement . The results of the study found code mixing forms in the form of words, phrases, and clauses. The conclusion of the author's research found 21 data from the video of 1 content creator uploaded by @furkysyahroni on the TikTok application . Of these, 13 data are included in the category of code mixing forms of word insertion, 7 data are code mixing forms of phrase insertion, and 1 data is code mixing forms of clause insertion.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bentuk-bentuk penyalagunaan keuangan yang terjadi di polres Kepualuan Sitaro. Penyalahgunaan keuangan dalam instansi penegak hukum merupakan isu serius yang tidak hanya mencederai integritas institusi, tetapi juga merusak kepercayaan publik terhadap aparat penegak hukum. Kajian ini menggunakan pendekatan yuridis normatif dengan menganalisis peraturan perundang-undangan yang mengatur pengelolaan keuangan negara dan mekanisme pertanggungjawaban dalam institusi kepolisian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa celah dalam sistem pengawasan internal, lemahnya penerapan sanksi, serta kurangnya transparansi dan akuntabilitas dalam pengelolaan dana menjadi faktor utama yang memungkinkan terjadinya penyimpangan. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan penguatan sistem pengendalian internal dan peningkatan kapasitas personel dalam pengelolaan keuangan sebagai langkah preventif

Abstract

This study aims to explore the challenges and opportunities faced by female students in education in the digital era, focusing on gender equality issues. The background of this research is based on the increasing awareness of the importance of gender equality in education, yet there are still barriers faced by female students. The method used is a qualitative approach with case studies, involving students from various educational levels as well as female teachers and mentors. The results show that better access to digital technology can help female students overcome gender stereotypes and enhance their skills. Additionally, connections with female mentors play a crucial role in building self-confidence and providing necessary support. This research concludes that the establishment of digital communities and educational programs that support technology access are essential for increasing female student participation. Recommendations include the need for practical actions in creating support programs, the development of the "Gender Digital Literacy" theory, and further research to explore the long-term impacts of these initiatives. These findings are expected to contribute to understanding the dynamics of gender equality in education and encourage the implementation of more effective strategies

Abstract

Improving the quality of education is one of the main challenges in the management of education in Indonesia. One approach that is considered effective to achieve the quality of education is School-Based Management (MMBS), which gives schools greater authority to manage resources and decision-making independently. This article discusses the implementation of School-Based Quality Management (MMBS) at SD Lamper Kidul 01 Semarang City, as well as the challenges faced in its implementation. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method with data collection techniques through interviews, observations, and document analysis. The results of the study show that the implementation of MMMBS at SD Lamper Kidul 01 Semarang City has shown several successes. The success of improving the quality of SD Lamper Kidul 01 through the implementation of School-Based Quality Management (MMBS) can be concluded: (1) The foundation of quality management has been formed, but its implementation still needs to be strengthened, especially in the aspects of data-based evaluation, continuous improvement, and learning innovation, (2) The key to improvement lies in the leadership of the principal, teacher empowerment, and the active and meaningful involvement of all school residents, (3) Understanding of MMBS has begun to form, especially among school principals and teachers, (4) The implementation of MMBS has not been maximized, because it is still administrative and has not touched a sustainable quality culture, (5) The involvement of external stakeholders (committees & parents) is still not optimal and needs to be improved through socialization and real involvement, (6) It is necessary to increase the capacity of human resources in quality management, and strengthening the reflection-based evaluation system.
