Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of the inclusion of PT Barito Renewables Energy Tbk (BREN) and PT Bumi Resources Minerals Tbk (BRMS) shares in the MSCI (Morgan Stanley Capital International) index on company value, stock liquidity, and the attractiveness of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) to global investors. The research method used is a descriptive quantitative study with an event study approach and secondary data analysis in the form of market capitalization, stock prices, returns, trading volume, price-to-book value, and foreign ownership. The results show that the inclusion of BREN and BRMS in the MSCI index significantly increased company value and stock liquidity. BREN showed a more sustainable and premium increase in company value, while BRMS experienced a significant increase that was more influenced by short-term market sentiment. Furthermore, MSCI inclusion increased foreign investment flows and strengthened global market confidence in the stability and credibility of the IDX, as reflected in increased foreign ownership and market liquidity. This study confirms that the inclusion of Indonesian shares in the MSCI index not only provides benefits for companies but also strengthens the position of the domestic capital market in the global arena.

Abstract

This study aims to examine Indonesia's national strategy in addressing increasingly complex global and domestic challenges, particularly in the areas of the global economic slowdown, commodity price volatility, supply chain disruptions, and climate change. This study uses a qualitative approach with a library research method through analysis of various national policy documents, international agency reports, and the latest scientific publications. The study results indicate that Indonesia's national strategy has been directed at strengthening economic resilience through macroeconomic stability, economic transformation, industrial downstreaming, and strengthening the domestic market. In facing geopolitical challenges and supply chain disruptions, the national strategy encourages diversification of trading partners, strengthening national industry, and improving logistics infrastructure. Meanwhile, in responding to climate change, the national strategy is directed at mitigation and adaptation through energy transition, emission reduction, and strengthening disaster risk management. However, the effectiveness of the national strategy still faces implementation obstacles, such as regional capacity imbalances, limited human resources, weak cross-sectoral coordination, regional fiscal dependency, and suboptimal monitoring and evaluation. This study concludes that Indonesia's national strategy is on the right track, but requires strengthening policy integration, consistency of implementation, and increasing the capacity of central and regional institutions to be more adaptive and effective in facing global pressures and domestic needs in a sustainable manner.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of tax accounting in supporting the government's national strategy for optimizing state revenue and fiscal reform in Indonesia. The focus of the study is on how the quality of tax accounting influences reporting effectiveness, taxpayer compliance, and its contribution to increasing the tax ratio and achieving tax revenue targets in the State Budget. This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive-analytical approach, through literature studies, analysis of fiscal policy documents, and interpretation of Indonesian tax revenue and tax ratio data for the 2022–2025 period. The results indicate that tax accounting plays a strategic role as a measurement, reporting, and control instrument that supports increased tax compliance and transparency. However, the implementation of tax accounting in Indonesia still faces obstacles such as regulatory complexity, uneven taxpayer data quality, limited tax literacy, and a gap in tax administration digitalization. This study concludes that strengthening tax accounting through standardization, digitalization, education, and risk-based supervision can be a crucial factor in strengthening state revenue and supporting the success of the national fiscal reform strategy.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of talent management in developing superior human resources in government agencies and its contribution to supporting the national strategic agenda. The study used a qualitative approach with a case study design, involving in-depth interviews, observation, and document analysis as data sources. The results show that talent management is implemented through systematic talent identification, development, and placement. The implementation of this strategy contributes to increased competency, leadership capacity, motivation, and employee retention. Supporting factors include government policies, committed leadership, organizational culture, and integrated HR information systems, while inhibiting factors include budget constraints, cultural resistance, and limited HRD capacity. This study recommends strengthening talent management through alignment with the national strategy, developing information systems, increasing the capacity of leaders and HRD, developing sustainable talent programs, and conducting regular monitoring and evaluation. These findings confirm that talent management is an effective strategic instrument in developing superior human resources and supporting the achievement of the national strategic agenda.

Abstract

The digital economy accelerates global trade, opening access for MSMEs, but poses challenges such as digital inequality and regulation. Technology investment and policy harmonization are necessary for inclusive trade. This paper aims to analyze the impact of the digital economy on international trade, including opportunities, challenges, and the role of regulation in supporting inclusive and sustainable trade. The research method used is qualitative with a descriptive approach. The results of this paper indicate that the digital economy has brought significant changes to international trade by increasing efficiency, market access, and reducing transaction barriers. However, the benefits have not been felt evenly, especially in developing countries that still face infrastructure and technological literacy constraints. Adaptive regulation and investment in digital infrastructure are key to ensuring inclusive and sustainable digital trade. International cooperation is needed to create a fairer trade ecosystem, where every country has an equal opportunity to thrive in the digital economy. With the right strategy, the digital economy can become a key driver of more equitable and sustainable global economic growth.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of the Housing Financing Liquidity Facility Program (FLPP) onimproving community welfare through subsidized home ownership. The FLPP program is a government policy aimedat providing access to affordable housing financing for low-income communities (MBR). This study uses a descriptivequalitative approach, with data collection techniques including interviews, observation, and documentation. Theresearch informants consisted of community recipients of subsidized housing, housing developers, and banksdistributing the FLPP program. The research results show that the FLPP Program has a positive impact on improvingcommunity welfare, particularly in economic, social, and psychological aspects. From an economic perspective, people experience a reduction in expenses because they no longer have to pay rent. From a social perspective, homeownership improves family stability and social participation in the community. Meanwhile, from a psychologicalperspective, people feel an increased sense of security and life satisfaction after owning their own home. However, this study also found several obstacles in the implementation of the FLPP program, such as limited subsidizedhousing quotas, less strategic housing locations, and an administrative process that some people still find quitecomplex. Overall, the FLPP program is considered to have made a positive contribution to improving communitywelfare, although improvements in implementation are still needed to optimize and distribute its benefits more evenly.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze accounting behavior in the preparation of financial reports by culinary MSMEsin North Sumatra Province. The approach used in this study is qualitative with descriptive methods. Data wereobtained through interviews, observations, and documentation of culinary MSMEs. The results show that theaccounting behavior of MSMEs is still relatively simple and unsystematic, characterized by irregular financialrecording and the use of manual recording methods. Behavioral factors such as perception, motivation, and attitudeinfluence the preparation of financial reports. Negative perceptions of accounting as something complicated lead tolow interest in financial recording, while situational motivation and a lack of concern also affect the quality offinancial reports. The level of understanding of MSMEs regarding the importance of financial reports in accordancewith accounting standards (SAK EMKM) is also still low. In addition, there are various obstacles faced, such aslimited accounting knowledge, lack of time, the absence of separation of personal and business finances, and minimaltraining and technological support. Thus, efforts are needed to improve accounting literacy, behavioral changes, andsupport from various parties to improve the quality of MSME financial reports.
