Abstract

Education is a conscious and systematic effort to create an environment and learning process that allows students to play an active role in developing their potential. This study uses a library research approach and is a qualitative research type. Primary data were obtained from the main books of hadith and hadith commentary, while secondary data came from books and supporting literature, such as language dictionaries and various scientific works discussing the types of ongoing charity. The data analysis technique used is content analysis, which is an effort to examine and thoroughly examine written or printed information objectively and systematically to uncover the messages contained therein. Belief in life after death is one of the fundamental teachings of Islam. Ongoing charity encompasses all forms of good deeds that provide broad benefits to others, both material and non-material. Forms of material charity include the construction of hospitals, schools, mosques, and other public facilities. Education is an important means of realizing ongoing charity as explained in the hadith regarding charity after death. Through education, the knowledge taught and practiced continues to provide ongoing benefits and rewards, both through the learning process and written works. This confirms that education in Islam is not only oriented towards worldly knowledge, but also becomes a medium for the formation of good deeds that have a spiritual dimension and have long-term value.

Abstract

Learning evaluation is a fundamental element in the education system, serving to assess the effectiveness of the learning process. The quality of education can be considered to have good integrity if supported by a systematic, structured, and directed learning system. Various components within educational institutions, such as educators, students, curriculum, facilities and infrastructure, school management, and the educational environment, contribute significantly to improving the quality of learning. Therefore, all these components need to play an active and synergistic role in efforts to develop and improve the learning system on an ongoing basis. This study applies a library research approach as the primary method. The research object is Madrasah Daarul Qur'an Karawang, located in Karawang, West Java. This study aims to analyze and examine in depth the learning evaluation practices implemented in this educational institution.

Abstract

This study examines the foundational principles (asas-asas) as the cornerstone of Islamic education in responding to contemporary educational challenges. The urgency of this study arises from the growing imbalance between cognitive achievement and moral formation within modern educational practices. Using a qualitative approach with a library research design, this article analyzes relevant classical and contemporary literature published within the last decade concerning the principles of Islamic education. Data were collected through documentation techniques and analyzed using content analysis to identify the conceptual framework and practical implications of these principles. The findings reveal that Islamic education is fundamentally built upon several interconnected principles, namely the principle of tauhid (theological foundation), moral principle (akhlak), social principle (kemasyarakatan), and the principle of responsibility and trust (amanah). These principles function as philosophical and operational foundations that guide educational objectives, curriculum development, and character formation. The study concludes that strengthening these foundational principles is essential to ensure that Islamic education remains value-oriented, holistic, and relevant in addressing moral and social issues in contemporary society.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of religious moderation internalization through the religious education curriculum at SMK PGRI 2 Kediri, examine students' understanding of religious moderation, and identify both supporting and inhibiting factors in the process. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings reveal that the internalization of religious moderation has been systematically carried out through religious instruction that is adaptive to the diverse religious backgrounds of students, including those from Christian, Catholic, and Hindu faiths. The 2013 curriculum plays a crucial role by embedding core values such as tolerance, peace, and respect for diversity. Students demonstrate a good understanding of religious moderation, reflected in their tolerant attitudes and respectful behavior toward peers of different religions. This success is supported by active teacher involvement, curriculum alignment, and a conducive family environment. However, challenges remain, particularly the negative influence of social media and the limited number of qualified religious educators. These findings highlight the need for cross-sector collaboration to sustain and enhance the internalization of religious moderation in education
