Abstract

Gender studies and women's challenges in realizing religious moderation in Indonesia. This qualitative research method uses library, book and journal data as well as theories from other sources such as articles and previous research using text interaction methods or data obtained that is already available and can be used directly. Secondary data is library data which is a source that comes from other research. This method is used to make it easier to find accurate information and data in various relevant sources. This method is not limited by space or time, the research is bound by a geographic location or time. It can access information from various eras and places. Gender studies can explore the role of women in religious moderation and the challenges they face to achieve a goal, thus women have enormous potential and opportunities in maintaining the diversity that exists in Indonesia, namely other socio-cultural cultures, but this potential has not been used properly and maximum. This is because women still experience gender injustice in both the domestic and public spheres. The results of this research show that although women still experience gender injustice, but there are obstacles, many women are still innovating and collaborating in any field, including religious moderation initiatives in Indonesia. Gender studies focuses on an interdisciplinary field that interacts in complex ways with markers of identity other than sexual, national and religious. Gender, femininity and masculinity is a social organization that often does not go unnoticed. Moderation itself in Latin is moderatio which means neither more nor less, meaning equal

Allah SWT created His creatures in pairs, male and female. Marriage is a religious call that must be carried out by humans for those who are able to start a family. There are many lessons that can be taken from marriage, one of which is that it can give birth to peace and happiness full of love. However, marriages do not always go as expected, with marriage guidance the prospective bride and groom receive direction and guidance before getting married, it is hoped that the prospective bride and groom can create a family that is sakinah mawadah and warahmah, and can reduce the divorce rate. The method used in this research is (field research), namely research in which data is obtained through interviews with several informants who have been selected and determined by the author. And this research is qualitative, namely research that produces descriptive data in the form of written or spoken words from people and observable behavior. Considering the importance of methods in research. Based on the results of the research, it can be concluded that, the provision of marriage guidance by BP4 KUA East Pontianak District to prospective brides and grooms is carried out on Thursdays on weekdays from 07.30 to 11.30 then carried out using the lecture method, Q&A for 2-3 hours. However, this plays an important role because of the guidance given to prospective brides and grooms to be able to create a sakinah mawadah and warahmah family, and reduce the divorce rate. The obstacles faced in carrying out marriage guidance include time constraints, discipline of the prospective bride and groom, collaboration with other agencies, staff shortages, unequal education of the prospective bride and groom, and other obstacles. The KUA of East Pontianak District carries out marriage guidance carried out by BP4 properly, and it is hoped that the prospective bride and groom can create a family that is sakinah mawadah warahmah.

Abstract

Islam teaches a balance between the life of this world and the hereafter as two complementary aspects. A Muslim is obliged to work hard in this world with the intention of accumulating provisions for the afterlife. The world is not considered the ultimate goal, but rather a means to eternal happiness in the hereafter. In the Islamic view, the worldly life is a test and an opportunity to worship, do good, and get closer to Allah. Islam emphasises that balance must be struck in all aspects of life, including between spirit and matter, mind and heart, and rights and duties. This principle is also emphasised in the Quran, particularly in QS. Al-Qashash verse 77, which reminds people not to forget their part of the world, but also to use it for the good of the hereafter. Islam does not advocate abandoning the world completely, but rather utilising it wisely as a means to gain happiness in the hereafter. In addition, Islamic teachings emphasise the importance of doing good and avoiding damage on earth, in accordance with Allah's commands in various verses of the Quran. Thus, the balance of the world and the hereafter is the key to living a life in harmony with the purpose of human creation

Abstract

Three Islamic legal practices in the context of husband-wife relationships, namely Zhihar, Il'a, and Li'an, are actions that can result in divorce. Zhihar is an action that occurs when a husband utters words that are forbidden to his wife by comparing her to a part of his mother's body. Violations of Zhihar have the effect of prohibiting the husband from having intimate relations with his wife and the kafarat that must be fulfilled, such as freeing slaves, fasting, or giving food to the poor. Il'a, on the other hand, involves the husband promising not to have sexual relations with his wife for a certain period, giving time for both to reflect on their relationship. Violations of Il'a resulted in legal consequences, such as feeding ten poor people, distributing clothes, freeing slaves, or fasting for three days. Li'an is an oath given by a husband when accusing his wife of committing adultery without the evidence of four strong witnesses. If proven to be lying, they will receive severe punishment in accordance with Islamic law. Exploring the legal aspects and consequences of these practices illustrates the complexity of regulations and the enforcement of justice in the regulation of husband-wife relationships in Islam.

Abstract

A phenomenon that has occurred recently is that many people do not care about laws or shari'ahs that are prohibited by religion. Especially when it comes to gold jewelry. Gold is a very valuable item, elegant and beautiful to wear. in a hadith that adheres to the religion of the use of gold and silk for men. This hadith describes the actions of the Prophet Muhammad SAW who firmly emphasized that these two materials (silk and gold) were haram for the men of his people. This hadith highlights that in Islam, there is a special prohibition on men wearing gold and silk. Scholars of four schools of thought agree that gold is used as jewelry such as necklaces, bracelets, rings, watches, etc. it is haram for men. This law applies both to a large and small extent. For women, it is legal to wear gold as jewelry. And gold itself also has bad or dangerous effects for men, including: It can cause disease which comes from the atoms in gold which can penetrate into the skin and into human blood, and if men wear gold in certain amounts and in long period of time.

Abstract

This journal reviews traditions that are considered misogynistic, i.e. traditions that refer to a negative/discriminatory view of women. The purpose of this study is to compare the thoughts of two figures, Sa'id Ramadhan al-Buthi and Abou El Fadl, in interpreting and understanding these traditions. The research instrument is library research by analyzing Islamic literature, especially misogynistic traditions. The data sources of this research are hadith books, books of both figures, supporting articles and so on. The result is that al-Buthi and Abou El Fadl have different perspectives in understanding misogynistic traditions. al-Buthi tends to take a literal approach and defends the validity and validity of misogynistic traditions, while Abou El Fadl is more critical and rejects the understanding that produces interpretations that harm women. The comparison of their thoughts in this journal provides a clearer understanding of how misogynistic traditions are understood and interpreted in the current context. The study provides insight that in the understanding and interpretation of misogynistic traditions, there is room for a more contextualized and inclusive approach that protects women's rights. The article demonstrates the importance of exploring and understanding the cultural, historical and social contexts in understanding and interpreting misogynistic traditions, as well as the need for fair and balanced interpretations with principles of gender equality.

Abstract

The science of hadith is the science that discusses the rules to determine the position of sanad and matan, whether accepted or rejected. According to Tengku Muhammad Hasbi AshShiddieqy: "Hadith science, namely knowledge related to hadith, has many kinds." According to Izzudin Ibnu Jamaah: "Science of hadith is the science of basic rules to find out the condition of a sanad or matan (hadith). The important goal of studying hadith is to know (sort out) authentic hadiths from others. Namely knowing the circumstances of a hadith, whether the hadith is authentic, hasan, or even da'if (weak, so it cannot be used as a guide). The person who first made this ulumul hadith, namely his name, was Muhammad bin Muslim bin Abdillah bin Syihab Az-Zuhri. He was the first to record and collect them on the orders of Caliph Umar bin Abdul Aziz. The function of the hadith to the Al Quran is as Bayan At-Tafsir, as Bayan At-Tafsir, as Bayan At-tasyri', and as Bayan Nasakh. The position of the Hadith as a bayani or carrying out the function of explaining the law of the Koran is beyond doubt and can be accepted by all parties, because that is what Allah SWT assigned the Prophet to do. However, in the position of hadith as a proposition that stands alone and as a second source after the Al-Quran
