Abstract

This study aims to find out about the satisfaction of training alumni with the type of training programmed by the Ambon Religious Education and Training Center. This research method uses quantitative research where the data collection process is in the form of numbers to analyze information about what is to be known, while the method used is the survey method. This type of training is a training service program provided by the Ambon Religious Education and Training Center as a form of public service to stakeholders in its working area. Training is an effort to improve the quality of human resources in accordance with the needs of the job, the type of training provided needs to be evaluated so that it can measure the achievement of service satisfaction and participants' interest in the training program that is carried out. This study concludes that the level of satisfaction of training alumni with regular training is quite good at 47.4%, while the level of satisfaction of training alumni with PDWK training is good at 51.5%, and the level of satisfaction of training alumni with PJJ training is very low, which is 9,91%.

Abstract

This research conducted to provide a standardized description of the systematic grading evaluation of participants in the trainings held by the Religious Education and Training Centers at the Ministry of Religion. Systematic Literature Review method was used to review the related literature followed by conclusions based on implementation instructions from valid sources. The results showed that the evaluation techniques and instruments had been provided, yet the indicators for each rating scale need to be provided to assist the assessment process. Thus, it is necessary to make a standard grading rubric for all Religious Education and Training Centers. This also will help them measuring the success of a training.

Abstract

This study aims to construct a video profile of the Ambon Religious Education and Training Center (BDK) which will be used as a medium to enhance the image and existence of the institution. This study uses the Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC) method which consists of 6 stages, namely concept, design, material collecting, assembly, testing, distribution. At the concept stage, goals and video outlines are determined, the design stage is by making a storyboard, the material collecting stage is by shooting and recording voice over according to the storyboard, the assembly stage is by editing all the assets that have been collected, the testing stage is by conducting video tests to leaders and partners, and the distribution stage by distributing videos via Youtube. All of these stages have succeeded in producing a multimedia product in the form of a video profile of BDK Ambon so that stakeholders and the general public can get information through video.

Abstract

Regarding to the basic competence of the second grade of junior high schools in Curriculum 2013, the pupils are supposed to comprehend the generic structure, social function, and language features in reading material (narrative, descriptive, recount, and so on). However, the students still have some difficulties in comprehending a text. This could be known by identifying some previous studies related to reading comprehension difficulties in Indonesia. They have problems in finding the main idea and specific information in the text, making inference, or identifying the meaning of the word. Thus, this paper tried to analyze the difficulties that the students faced when comprehending an English reading text, to determine the reasons why the students are having problems in those difficulties, and to examine how teacher can help the students to overcome the difficulties. This research used mixed method and was classified as descriptive research. The participants of this research consisted of the second grade students and an EFL teacher of MTs Nurul Ikhlas Ambon. Reading comprehension test, questionnaire, and interview were used by the researcher to collect the data. Then, the data were analyzed by using descriptive quantitative analysis; calculating the result of students’ reading comprehension test and calculating the scale of the questionnaire. Moreover, the qualitative data was done by describing the interview result. The research revealed three findings. Firstly, the difficulty that faced by the students when comprehending an English reading text was identifying vocabulary. Secondly, the students completely agreed that reading process, students’ background knowledge, language knowledge, and motivation were factors which influenced them to have problems in those difficulties. And lastly, the strategies that can be used by the teacher to overcome the difficulties were memorizing strategy, reciprocal teaching, question-answer relationship, and fun learning strategy.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the effectiveness of the role of the School Committee in SD Negeri 1 Maibua. This study uses a descriptive type survey method. The population is heterogeneous, and the sampling was done by purposive sampling. Types of data in the form of qualitative and quantitative. The data sources are primary and secondary. Three data collection techniques were used, namely: questionnaires, interviews, and observations. The data that has been collected is then analyzed descriptively qualitatively, namely by grouping the data by categorization and then each category is given a percentage weight according to the existing events. The findings show that the role of the School Committee in SD Negeri 1 Maibua is quite effective.

Abstract

Management is a process of activities that includes four functions including planning, organizingn, implementing and controlling. In its implementation, the management of Islamic education based on religious culture has an urgent role in directing humans to worship Allah and be on good terms with fellow human beings. This study aims to find out what religious value bases are often applied in Educational Institutions, and how religious culture management is applied. To facilitate the course of this research, researchers used a literature research method with descriptive data analysis techniques in 15 research articles on Religious Culture published from various educational journals with a time span from 2017 to 2022. The results of the study showed that the religious cultural base applied used the values of Tawhid, Akhlak, Amanah and Social. In addition, in the stages of its management, the aspects contained within the religious culture must be applied systematically and scheduled.

Abstract

This study to describe the stages of the process and the principles of implementing the Organizing Management function in the Arabic Language Program in Islamic Senior High School of West Seram. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method. Data collection technique used are non-participant observation, in-depth interview, and documentation. Observation of the running of the Club. Interviews were conducted by interviewing the principal, Arabic teacher and club tutor. The analysis technique adopts the Miles and Huberman model, namely Data Reduction, Data Presentation and Drawing Conclusion. The research showed that: (1) The Arabic club of Islamic Senior High School of West Seram applies two organizing management functions, namely determining the plans and objectives of the Arabic Club, and conducting evaluations; (2) Three principles of Organizing management have been applied in the Arabic Club, including power and responsibility by club tutors, direction and teamwork. It is known that the organizing management at the Arabic Club of Islamic Senior High School of West Seram is not well structured because there is no organizational structure and a clear division of organizational tasks.

Abstract

The main purpose of the study is to comprehensively describe local tradition of “Bobaso Se Rasai”. Bobaso Se Rasai tradition is a sacred practice presented in the seven values of humanity in Ternate Sultanate that has become traditional community principle to live contiguously, and to socialize with others in affection, compassion, and respectability in order to maintain the harmony and serenity in society. It is believed that this tradition is the practice of the forefathers of Ternate Sultanate that prioritises humanity, differences respecting, and peace loving to prevent conflict and chaos in North Maluku. Hence, the religion moderation concept and Bobaso Se Rasai tradition can complement one another to build solidarity in the region.

Abstract

This paper aims to explain the teachers’ reaction to curriculum changes in Madrasah learning. The qualitative research method will be applied in this study where researchers will describe data in the form of phrases rather than statistics. While descriptive research is commonly utilized by researchers. Descriptive types only explain phenomena, symptoms, events, and episodes that occur in certain populations or communities. According to the conclusions of this study, learning tools are the compass and forward and backward directions of educational institutions in Indonesia, particularly in Madrasas. Learning tools can be helpful in gaining success and success in implementing learning programs in certain educational units. Looking at the times, compiling a curriculum is not a simple task, but the curriculum is developed based on the needs for the development of a country's educational quality. Furthermore, the curriculum is a notion that must rise to meet all obstacles, yet changes to the curriculum cannot be avoided due to the necessity. Curriculum design is critical because education can meet the requirements of society. As a learning designer, the teacher must begin with a modest and concrete problem, such as the problem of the Madrasah environment. However, the teacher must also think broadly and be visionary. Teachers must remain professional in their tasks even when the curriculum in Indonesia changes, and they must provide a stimulating learning environment so that students feel challenged and like studying.
