Abstract

The Qur'an, through a series of verses, also lays down a series of basic norms for several types of transactions, both general and specific. Including basic norms related to several types of economic transactions. Therefore, the absorption of the text of the Qur'an into a compilation of laws including economic and financial verses against the compilation of laws in the field of Sharia economics, textually will certainly experience difficulties, but substantially based on the istinbath of the law (istinbath al-ahkam) from the existing verses of economic law, it is very possible. The possibility of the compilation of the text of the Qur'an being absorbed into the compilation of the field of Sharia economics, depends greatly on the compilation model itself. Islam guarantees a distribution of income that contains human values, namely, among others, Islam recommends distributing wealth through zakat, infaq, and others in order to maintain harmony in social life. Infaq and zakat can be used to open up job opportunities in the form of capital assistance, education, health facilities and so on, so that it will be more productive. This study aims to discuss zakat and infaq from the perspective of the Qur'an.

Abstract

First impressions are a crucial initial process in social interactions. In the study of social cognition, this process involves mental mechanisms that enable individuals to understand, interpret, and respond efficiently to the social environment. Social cognition plays a role in explaining broader psychological phenomena, such as interpersonal communication, social emotions, and adjustment after specific events. Indonesia's cultural diversity demonstrates that social perception is not always universal. Local values, social norms, and cultural backgrounds influence how individuals form and interpret first impressions. Therefore, cross-cultural validation is an important aspect of social cognition to ensure the relevance of developed theories in both Indonesian and global contexts. Replication results generally indicate that although there are common patterns in judging others, such as a tendency to use visual information, interpretations can still differ depending on the context. Therefore, replication is crucial for strengthening the validity of social cognition theories and understanding biases and misperceptions in social interactions. Methodological advances in social cognition research indicate a shift from traditional models to more integrative approaches, such as connectionist models

Abstract

This study examines Gus Dur’s perspective on humanistic da’wah management as an inclusive approach to strengthening social harmony within multicultural societies. The rise of intolerance and exclusive religious narratives in contemporary society has created challenges for maintaining social cohesion in Indonesia’s multicultural context. Therefore, a humanistic and inclusive da’wah approach is needed to strengthen the values of tolerance, pluralism, and humanity in social life. This study aims to analyze the concept of humanistic da’wah management according to Gus Dur and its relevance in multicultural society. This research uses a qualitative approach with the type of library research. The data were obtained from books, scientific journals, and various academic literature related to Gus Dur’s thoughts, da’wah management, pluralism, and Islamic humanism. Data analysis was conducted using descriptive-analytical techniques through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study indicate that Gus Dur’s da’wah management emphasizes humanistic, pluralistic, and cultural approaches in delivering Islamic values. Dakwah is not only understood as a religious activity but also as a means of social transformation to create harmonious social relations. Gus Dur’s da’wah strategy prioritizes dialogue, tolerance, and respect for local culture. Furthermore, the concept of humanistic da’wah is considered relevant in addressing intolerance and strengthening social integration in multicultural societies. In conclusion, Gus Dur’s humanistic da’wah management offers an inclusive and moderate model of Islamic preaching that is relevant to contemporary Indonesian society.
