Jurnal ini memuat artikel hasil penelitian, kajian konseptual, maupun telaah pustaka yang mencakup topik seperti strategi pembelajaran, pengembangan kurikulum, integrasi teknologi dalam pendidikan Islam, pendidikan karakter dan moderasi beragama, serta pendidikan multikultural dalam konteks Islam. Diterbitkan dua kali setahun (Januari–Juni dan Juli–Desember), Jurnal Maharah menggunakan sistem review double-blind dan menerapkan kebijakan akses terbuka (open access) untuk mendorong diseminasi pengetahuan secara luas. Artikel diterbitkan dalam Bahasa Indonesia atau Bahasa Inggris, dan jurnal ini sedang dalam proses indeksasi di berbagai basis data nasional dan internasional.

Abstract

Dalam era Revolusi Industri 4.0 dan transisi menuju Society 5.0, Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) di Perguruan Tinggi Keagamaan Islam (PTKI) menghadapi tantangan untuk mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai keislaman dengan teknologi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi kesenjangan antara teori dan praktik dalam pembelajaran PAI serta menawarkan model pembelajaran yang efektif. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif jenis kepustakaan, dengan menganalisis berbagai literatur terkait integrasi nilai keislaman dan teknologi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa meskipun terdapat upaya untuk mengadopsi teknologi dalam pembelajaran, banyak dosen masih menggunakan pendekatan konvensional yang berdampak pada rendahnya partisipasi aktif mahasiswa. Hambatan seperti keterbatasan kompetensi dosen, infrastruktur yang tidak memadai, dan kurikulum yang belum adaptif menjadi tantangan utama. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan pentingnya peningkatan kompetensi dosen dalam pedagogi digital, pengembangan kurikulum yang relevan, serta penyediaan infrastruktur teknologi yang memadai. Integrasi nilai-nilai keislaman dan teknologi diharapkan dapat menciptakan lulusan yang tidak hanya religius tetapi juga mampu berkontribusi dalam masyarakat global. Dengan demikian, PAI di PTKI dapat berperan sebagai agen transformasi sosial yang adaptif, menjawab tuntutan zaman tanpa kehilangan akar spiritualnya. Kata Kunci: Pendidikan Agama Islam, integrasi teknologi, nilai-nilai keislaman, Perguruan Tinggi Keagamaan Islam, transformasi pendidikan.

Abstract

This study aimed to explore the perceptions of students of the Islamic Religious Education (PAI) Postgraduate Program of UIN Mataram regarding the challenges they face in writing articles for scientific publications, which include academic writing and language skills. The method used in this research was survey. The data collection technique used a questionnaire distributed to students of the Postgraduate Master of Islamic Education study program to obtain information about the challenges faced in both aspects. The collected data were then analyzed using descriptive statistical techniques which resulted in mean values and standard deviations. The research findings showed that students experience various obstacles in scientific publications, from formulating titles to compiling discussions. The main challenges included the preparation of the introduction, presentation of data, creation of complex sentences, use of grammar, and selection of academic vocabulary. An intensive and sustainable academic writing training program is needed, accompanied by comprehensive coaching, feedback, and mentoring.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the role of the al Ashab Taklim Council in fostering adolescent morals. The research uses descriptive qualitative research methods to examine problems or phenomena in depth. Observation, interviews and documentation were used as data collection techniques. Meanwhile, data validity techniques use triangulation of techniques and sources. As for the research results, 1. a. As a forum for religious life, it can be fostered and developed to build a society that is devoted to Allah SWT. By holding activities 1) Reading Ratib Al Athos, the Book of Maulid Ad Dhiyaulami and Taklim. The method of moral development carried out by the Al Ashab Taklim Council. First, a word of advice. The role of the al Ashab Taklim Council in Advice is to provide usawatun hasanah in the form of kind words, gentleness and motivation to discipline your time by increasing your istigfar to Allah and praying to the Prophet Muhammad SAW. Second, example. The role of the al Ashab taklim assembly in exemplary behavior is as follows: Istiqomah attending the taklim assembly. Third, habituation. The role of the Al Ashab Taklim Council in habits such as: Getting used to saying hello and getting used to behaving politely. b. As a Spiritual Recreation Park using Rihlah Syariah/Grave Pilgrimage. c. Building friendship (house to house).

Abstract

This paper examines the integration of constructivist-based learning within Indonesia's education system, highlighting its transformative role in both Islamic and general educational settings. Grounded in Piaget’s cognitive development and Vygotsky’s sociocultural theories, constructivism emphasizes learner agency, prior knowledge, and context. The study explores how principles like active engagement and collaborative learning are applied, especially in Madrasahs, which blend Islamic teachings with general education to foster critical thinking and problem-solving. Constructivist practices, such as problem- and project-based learning, support authentic learning in a digital, multicultural landscape. Challenges include balancing learner-centered approaches with curriculum demands and overcoming resistance to pedagogical changes. By blending traditional Islamic values with modern educational needs, Madrasahs promote social responsibility and character growth. The study concludes that constructivist frameworks enhance student engagement and adaptability, contributing positively to Indonesia’s educational outcomes.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the importance of mastering critical thinking and information literacy skills in 21st century learning, especially in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) subjects. The purpose of this study is to explore the role of the digital media application Quizizz in improving both skills at SMAN 1 Selong. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collection techniques through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out using the Miles and Huberman interactive model which includes data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study show that Quizizz is able to stimulate students to think critically through analysis-based and evaluation questions. In addition, this application also helps improve information literacy skills, especially in identifying, evaluating, and using information effectively. Students showed high enthusiasm for the use of this media because the learning atmosphere became more interactive and enjoyable. This study concludes that the integration of digital media such as Quizizz in PAI learning can make a positive contribution to improving the quality of the teaching and learning process and equip students with essential skills in facing the challenges of the digital information society.

Abstract

Negeri 2 Pujut, namely: (1) learning planning in strengthening religious character and students' social care attitudes, (2) the implementation of learning in strengthening these characters, and (3) the evaluation of learning carried out. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive analysis method. Data collection techniques include interviews, observations, and documentation. The data was analyzed using Miles and Huberman's theory which included data reduction, data presentation, and data verification, with the validity of the data tested through triangulation. The results of the study show that PAI learning planning is carried out through the preparation of the syllabus, socialization of the syllabus, and the preparation of the Learning Implementation Plan (RPP). The implementation of learning is carried out through intracurricular and extracurricular activities that emphasize the formation of religious character and social care attitudes. Learning evaluation uses authentic assessments, criteria-based, and learning outcomes

Abstract

The declining quality of students’ respect and manners toward teachers in various educational institutions, including Islamic boarding schools (pesantren), raises concerns over the erosion of moral values in Islamic education. This study aims to analyze how the teaching of Ta’lim al-Muta’allim shapes students’ social honesty at Pondok Pesantren Miftahul Khair NW Pemantek. This research employed a qualitative case study approach, with data collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation. The data were analyzed thematically through coding and theme formulation. The results indicate that values such as honesty, responsibility, and respect for teachers are effectively internalized by students through consistent traditional teaching methods and the exemplary conduct of teachers. Senior students demonstrated a higher level of social honesty compared to new students, highlighting the importance of sustained value internalization. This study concludes that Ta’lim al-Muta’allim remains relevant as a character-building medium for students, especially in cultivating social honesty, through an integrative approach that bridges classical Islamic values and contemporary social dynamics.

Abstract

The development of digital technology has driven significant changes in the world of education, including in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning. The challenges of the digital era demand an adaptive, interactive, and relevant PAI learning system with the characteristics of 21st-century learners. This study aims to examine in depth the practice of technology integration in PAI learning and assess the effectiveness and challenges of its implementation. The study used a descriptive qualitative approach with a case study method. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews with teachers, students, and principals; direct observation of the learning process; and analysis of curriculum documents and school policies. Data analysis techniques were carried out with thematic analysis through a process of reduction, presentation, and drawing conclusions that were validated through triangulation of sources and methods. The study's results showed that integrating technology through Learning Management Systems (LMS), interactive videos, and digital applications can increase student motivation, participation, and understanding of Islamic material. However, challenges persist in the form of limited infrastructure, low digital literacy among teachers, and a lack of contextual Islamic content. This study concludes that technology integration in PAI has great potential in creating valuable, effective, and modern learning if supported by appropriate pedagogical strategies and adequate institutional support.

Abstract

Implementasi kurikulum yang efektif tidak hanya ditentukan oleh desain dokumen kurikulum itu sendiri, melainkan bergantung pada sistem pendukung yang menopangnya. Artikel ini membahas manajemen sumber pendukung implementasi kurikulum di sekolah dengan pendekatan saintifik menggunakan analogi proses pembangunan sekolah. Melalui studi literatur dan data empiris, ditemukan bahwa kurangnya pelatihan guru, fasilitas terbatas, dan lemahnya supervisi merupakan hambatan utama. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif-deskriptif dengan teknik studi dokumen dan observasi pustaka dari 15 publikasi primer. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa manajemen sumber pendukung yang mencakup SDM, sarana, kebijakan, dan kolaborasi eksternal secara signifikan memengaruhi keberhasilan pelaksanaan kurikulum. Kontribusi artikel ini terletak pada model analisis manajemen pendukung yang aplikatif dan kontekstual untuk sekolah menengah.
