Keterkaitan nama "Syamil" dengan pendidikan dan pemikiran Islam sangat relevan, karena dalam tradisi keilmuan Islam, pendidikan tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai proses transfer ilmu, tetapi juga sebagai proses pembentukan karakter, spiritualitas, dan peradaban yang utuh. Begitu pula dengan pemikiran Islam yang tidak bersifat parsial, tetapi mencakup aspek-aspek keimanan, akhlak, sosial, budaya, dan sains secara terpadu. Jurnal ini bertujuan untuk mewadahi para akademisi, peneliti, guru, dan praktisi pendidikan dalam menyebarluaskan hasil penelitian dan gagasan ilmiah yang berkaitan dengan: Pengembangan pendidikan Islam dari berbagai pendekatan (filosofis, sosiologis, pedagogis, dan teknologi), Pemikiran tokoh-tokoh Islam klasik dan kontemporer, Kontribusi pendidikan Islam dalam membangun peradaban, Integrasi ilmu Islam dan sains modern, Serta berbagai isu strategis dalam dunia pendidikan dan pemikiran Islam global. Abstract

This article discusses the importance of character education in dealing with the negative impact of technological developments in the digital era, especially for generation Z. Rapidly developing technology provides broad and fast access to information, but also raises challenges such as distraction and exposure to negative content which can damage the character of generation Z. Character education that is integrated with Islamic religious values ​​plays an important role in forming individuals with noble and devout morals. This research highlights that effective character education, based on the teachings of the Qur'an and Hadith, can help generation Z develop traits such as honesty, justice, patience and compassion. These values ​​are important for creating individuals who are not only intellectually intelligent but also moral and ethical, and able to face the challenges of the VUCA (Volatile, Uncertain, Complex, Ambiguous) era wisely. Character education in Islam aims to form a just, prosperous and harmonious society.

Abstract

Interest is an impulse that comes from within a person, interest is an important factor in achieving good results. One effort that can foster students' interest in learning is the establishment of good interpersonal communication between teachers and students. The aim of this research is to determine the relationship between teacher interpersonal communication and students' interest in learning in class XI Islamic religious education subjects at SMKN 3 Singkawang. This type of research is quantitative research using the interactive correlation method, the population in the research is class XI students totaling 131 students. The technique used in sampling was random sampling, with a sample size of 40 students. Data collection techniques were carried out using questionnaires and documents. The data that has been collected is then analyzed using the product moment correlation analysis formula. The results of data analysis carried out using the Pearson product moment correlation technique obtained a value of 0.3784, while the critical r table with a correlation coefficient of N = 40 and a confidence value of α = 5% means the r table is 0.312. This shows that > atau 0,3784 > 0,312. Soit can be confirmed that there is a relationship between teacher interpersonal communication and students' interest in learning in class XI Islamic religious education subjects at SMKN 3 Singkawang for the 2022/2023 academic year. This analysis shows that the hypothesis is accepted.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to examine character education in Islamic Religious Education in Schools as well as the characters taught in Islamic Religious Education subjects in schools. This research uses a qualitative approach, namely research that produces descriptive data in the form of written words or utterances from individuals and observable behavior. The results of this research show that: First, character education in Islamic Religious Education in schools can be carried out in two ways, namely: non-lesson implementation model (through teacher example and student habits) and learning implementation model (in accordance with PAI teacher learning plans) . Second, the character education model built through non-lesson education includes: throwing rubbish in its place, praying before and after studying, diligently reciting and memorizing the Koran, greeting when meeting teachers, speaking politely, as well as being a good example of a teacher worthy of emulation. Meanwhile, character education that is built in classroom learning in Islamic Religious Education subjects includes: self-confidence, discipline, religion, and creativity.

Abstract

Peace and harmony are fundamental ideals in married life, representing important aspirations for every individual. The concept of a sakīnah family has been known since the era of the Prophet Muhammad, as evidenced by his exemplary interactions with his wives. The term sakīnah is explicitly mentioned in the Qur'an, specifically in QS. Ar-Rum (30): 21, highlighting the need to examine the linguistic structure of the verse to achieve a comprehensive understanding of its meaning. This study seeks to analyze the term sakīnah in QS. Ar-Rum (30): 21 through the lens of Roland Barthes' semiotic theory, contextualized within a contemporary framework. Using a literature-based descriptive-analytical methodology, this study focuses on the linguistic study of the term sakīnah and its semiotic implications as articulated by Barthes. The findings show that, linguistically, sakīnah signifies a state of tranquility achieved through certain actions. From a mythological point of view, sakīnah goes beyond the conjugal bond, encompassing a deep sense of tranquility that permeates the wider family structure. Therefore, the concept of sakīnah in QS. Ar-Rum (30): 21 offers a nuanced perspective on family harmony, demonstrating its enduring relevance to contemporary contexts while contributing new insights to Qur'ānic studies through the integration of semiotic theory.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to describe the internalization of Islamic values ​​in science subjects with the object at State Elementary School 002 Sebatik Utara. The method used in this research is a case study which involves the main instrument, namely the interactions that occur with the research subjects, namely teachers and students in science learning. The research results show that instilling Islamic values ​​requires time to become a habit for students. The process of internalizing Islamic teachings can be seen from the actions of students who practice the teachings of their religion and love the natural environment around them. Teachers use various methods to foster a love of nature, for example playing by getting to know nature in which Islamic values ​​are inserted by always presenting an attitude of gratitude for Allah Swt's creation. and teaches that there is a symbiotic relationship between human life and the natural environment. This is all in order to form the character of religious students who love their natural environment.

Abstract

The high unemployment rate among vocational high school (SMK) graduates highlights a gap between vocational education and labor market demands. This study aims to examine the influence of entrepreneurial knowledge on students' interest in entrepreneurship, evaluate the role of entrepreneurship programs in schools, and identify internal and external factors affecting students' entrepreneurial interest. Using a literature review method, this research integrates findings from relevant studies published between 2020 and 2024. The analysis is conducted thematically, focusing on aspects such as entrepreneurial knowledge, motivation, self-efficacy, family environment, and support from educational programs and government policies. The findings reveal that entrepreneurial knowledge significantly influences students' interest in entrepreneurship, supported by individual motivation, self-efficacy, and a conducive family environment. Moreover, entrepreneurship programs in schools and supportive policies play a crucial role in preparing students to create independent career opportunities. This study provides a comprehensive understanding of how entrepreneurial education impacts vocational students’ entrepreneurial interest while highlighting key strategies to address existing challenges. The insights from this research are expected to serve as a reference for policymakers and educators in designing effective entrepreneurship education programs to foster students' readiness and enthusiasm for entrepreneurial ventures.

Abstract

Indonesia is a country rich in diversity, including in terms of religion. This diversity has the potential to be a force that strengthens national unity, but on the other hand it can cause conflict if not managed well. In the digital era, technology provides a great opportunity to strengthen religious harmony through strengthening digital literacy. Digital literacy is the key to increasing tolerance, equality and cooperation between religious communities by using digital space wisely. This research aims to examine the role of digital literacy in building religious harmony in Indonesia. The method used is a qualitative-descriptive approach with data collection techniques in the form of in-depth interviews, participatory observation and document analysis. The research results show that digital literacy plays an important role in supporting positive interactions in the digital realm, reducing the potential for conflict between religious communities, and encouraging constructive interfaith dialogue. However, people's digital literacy level still needs to be increased to minimize the spread of hoaxes and negative information that can trigger intolerance. Therefore, a strategy to strengthen digital literacy is needed through education, training and social campaigns involving various parties. This research concludes that digital literacy is a strategic element in realizing religious harmony in the digital era. With the appropriate use of technology, digital literacy can be a means of strengthening unity and harmony in the life of a multicultural society.

Abstract

The development of digital technology has provided new opportunities in the world of education, including in forming the character of early childhood. TikTok, as a popular social media platform, can be used as an innovative learning medium, especially in instilling Islamic values through story and quote-based videos. This research aims to analyze the effectiveness of using TikTok videos based on stories and quotes in forming the Islamic character of early childhood in PAUD R.A. Kartini Sebatik Barat. The research method used is qualitative research with a descriptive approach. Data was obtained through observation, interviews with educators, and analysis of video content used in learning. The research results show that the use of TikTok videos based on Islamic stories and quotes can increase children’s understanding of Islamic character values, such as honesty, patience and caring. Children are more interested and easier to understand moral concepts through interactive visual media that fits their digital world. However, challenges in implementing this method include limited access to technology for some educators and the need for supervision in the use of social media so that it remains in accordance with the principles of Islamic education. This research concludes that the use of TikTok as a learning medium based on Islamic stories and quotes has great potential in shaping the character of young children if applied with the right approach and adequate supervision. It is hoped that these findings can be a reference for educators and parents in developing technology-based learning methods that are in accordance with Islamic values in the digital era.

Abstract

Education at the Elementary School (SD) level has a strategic role in shaping students' character and personality. This study aims to explore the application of humanistic values ​​in education at SDN Sebatik and its impact on students' character development. The research method used is a qualitative approach with a case study, involving interviews, observations, and document analysis to understand the implementation of humanistic values ​​in the curriculum and social interactions in schools. The results of the study show that SDN Sebatik integrates humanistic values, such as empathy, tolerance, honesty, and togetherness, in the Merdeka Curriculum through experiential learning, group activities, and multicultural education. Teachers act as role models in instilling these values, while schools implement policies that support inclusive education and student character development. The success of the implementation of humanistic values ​​is reflected in the increase in student engagement in learning, their social skills, and their positive attitudes towards others. The implications of this study indicate that humanistic-based education can create a harmonious learning environment and support student development holistically. Recommendations include strengthening school policies in supporting humanistic values ​​as well as training for teachers to implement this approach more effectively.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the dialectics of Islamic law and local wisdom in the context of culture in Nunukan community. The study employs a qualitative research approach with an ethnographic design. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with informants, participant observation, and document analysis.The findings of this study reveal that Islamic law and local wisdom in Nunukan community have a complex and dynamic relationship. Islamic law has become an integral part of the community's culture, influencing various aspects of their lives, including social norms, values, and practices. However, local wisdom also plays a significant role in shaping the community's understanding and implementation of Islamic law.This research highlights the importance of considering the local context and cultural nuances in the implementation of Islamic law. The study demonstrates that the dialectics of Islamic law and local wisdom in Nunukan community can lead to a more harmonious and just way of life for the community. Furthermore, this research contributes to the understanding of the complex relationship between Islamic law and local culture, providing insights forpolicymakers, scholars, and practitioners.The study's findings also have implications for the development of Islamic law and its implementation in various cultural contexts. The research suggests that Islamic law should be understood and implemented in a way that takes into account the local culture and wisdom. This approach can help to promote a more inclusive and context-specific understanding of Islamic law, which can ultimately contribute to the well-being and prosperity of Muslim communities.
