Abstract

This research empirically examines the effect of entrepreneurial leadership, entrepreneurial orientation, and technological innovation capability on SMEs' performance. Interestingly, this study investigates the mediating effects of internal organizational factors such as entrepreneurial orientation, team creativity, dynamic capabilities, and competitive advantage on the relationship between entrepreneurial leadership and SMEs' performance. The consistent PLS-SEM approach was applied to analyze valid data collected from 182 small and medium IT enterprises operating at Surabaya, Indonesia. The empirical results reveal that entrepreneurial leadership via the full mediators of team creativity, dynamic capabilities, and competitive advantages can enhance the performance of IT SMEs. While entrepreneurial orientation does not influence SMEs' business performance, technological innovation capabilities can provide some benefits. Besides, entrepreneurial orientation plays no mediation role in the relationship between entrepreneurial leadership and SMEs’ performance. Finally, the results allow us to provide meaningful insights and recommendations to manage and promote better entrepreneurial inspiration.Keywords: Business performance; Entrepreneurial leadership; Entrepreneurial     orientation.

Abstract

As a growing transaction dealer, E-commerce has many risks and uncertainties compared to conventional transactions, but e-commerce users continue to increase. For this reason, the purpose of this study is to find out what is behind a person's interest in transacting using e-commerce. This research method uses quantitative methods with multiple linear regression analysis techniques. The sample of this research is accounting student of Muhammadiyah University of Gresik. The results showed that the variables of convenience, subjective norms, and knowledge of AIS had an effect on the interest in transacting using e-commerce, while the security variables and risk perception had no effect on the interest in transacting using e-commerce. From the results of this study, recommendations for further research are expected to be able to add new variables, not only using the questionnaire method and can expand the population.Keywords: Convenience; Interests in Transactions Using E-Commerce; Knowledge of SIA; Perceptions of Risk;  Security; Subjective Norms

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the simultaneous positive and significant effect of Talent Management and Knowledge Management on employee performance. This quantitative research approach uses hypothesis testing based on data obtained from distributing questionnaires. The population and sample in this study were 63 people. The results of this study indicate that there is a positive (0.397) and significant (0.000) influence between Talent Management and Employee Performance. The Knowledge Management variable has a positive (0.181) and essential (0.002) effect on employee performance. Lastly, Talent Management and Knowledge Management simultaneously have a positive (0.457) and practical (0.000) impact on Employee Performance.Keywords: Talent Management; Knowledge Management; Employee Performance

Abstract

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) disclosure activities carried out by companies, especially companies in the mining sector, are still not optimal. This study aims to see what factors can affect the implementation of the company's CSR disclosures. Sampling using purposive sampling method with 70 research data. This study uses multiple linear regression analysis test. The results showed that the variables of profitability, firm size and growth had an effect on the disclosure of corporate social responsibility, but for corporate growth it was negatively related to the disclosure of corporate social responsibility. Further research is expected to use companies in other sectors with a longer period and it is suggested to add research variables that can affect the company's CSR disclosure.Keywords: Company Growth; Company Size; Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Disclosure; Profitability.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the performance measurement of BPJS Ketenagakerjaan Gresik using the balanced scorecard method whether it can be said to be ideal as a whole from various perspectives. This study uses primary and secondary data. Primary data was obtained from interviews with informants and secondary data was obtained from reports on the achievement of performance realization in each perspective in 2015-2017. The case study used in this study is a single case study. The results of this study indicate that the balanced scorecard method cannot be applied optimally to BPJS Ketenagakerjaan Gresik because there are still perspectives whose realization has not yet reached the predetermined targets such as achievements in the financial perspective and the business and internal process perspective.Keywords: Performance Measurement; Balanced Scorecard.

Abstract

Population Growth according to the results of the Indonesian population census in 2020 Millennials dominate and the characteristics of the Millennial Generation are much different from the previous generation. The Millennial Generation has a disloyal nature, but the Millennial Generation adapts very quickly to technological developments in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0. Abstract

Financial management, or in other literature called spending, is all company activities related to obtaining, using funds, and managing assets by the company's overall goals. Liquidity Ratio is used to measure the company's ability to fulfil its financial obligations that are immediately fulfilled or short-term obligations. Solvency Ratio is a ratio that measures how much the company uses funds from debt (loans).This research aims to determine the effect of liquidity and solvency simultaneously on the financial performance of PT Gudang Garam Tbk, which is listed on the Indonesian stock exchange. The population in this research is the entire financial report of PT Gudang Garam Tbk for the last five years, while the sample is the balance sheet and income statement for five years (2013-2018). The data collection technique used in this research is library research and google study and access to the Indonesia Stock Exchange website (www.idx.co.id). This research indicates that the liquidity variable (X1) has a significant effect on financial performance (Y). While the solvency variable (X2) also has a substantial impact on the financial performance (Y) of PT Gudang Garam Tbk Keywords: Service quality; Price; Trust; Intention to purchase

Abstract

Human resource development and quality are significant to improving company performance. This research aims to determine the effect of the product and quality of human resources on the performance of the Cooperative and Micro Business Office employees in Surabaya during the Covid-19 Pandemic Era. This research uses quantitative methods by testing hypotheses based on data obtained from distributing questionnaires to respondents. The data are collected using a questionnaire with a sample of 38 employees. The results of the research show that the independent variable (X1) is Human Resource Development and the independent variable (X2) is the Quality of Human Resources which simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on the dependent variable (Y) Employee Performance with the F test results obtained that f count 57.271 with a value significance 0.000<0.05. While partially the independent variable (X1), Human Resource Development, has a significant and positive impact on the dependent variable Employee Performance (Y) with a significance value of 0.000 <0.05, and the independent variable (X2) Human Resource Quality has a positive and significant effect on the dependent variable (Y ) Employee performance with a significance value of 0.001 <0.05.Keywords                   : Development; Quality of Human Resources; Employee Performance.

Abstract

In this research, descriptive qualitative methods are used. The research data are collected using observation and documentation techniques. The results of this research indicate that the financial performance of the Kammis cooperative through the analysis of the joint financial statements is in a good performance. The annual financial ratio analysis results prove this through the liquidity ratio (current ratio) 13,0,9,5,18,9 solvency ratio debt to asset ratio (0,07,010,0,05) activity ratio total asset turn over (9,70,15,1,10,5) receivable turnover (133,7,83,0,108,1) profitability ratio net profit margin on sales (0,083,0,10,0,11) Return on investment (0,32,0,67,0,063). The conclusion of the results shows many differences from each ratio which shows very significant results every year.Keywords: financial performance; liquidity ratio; total asset turn over.

Abstract

A COVID-19 pandemic occurred in Indonesia in early March 2020, precisely after the discovery of 2 people cases who were identified as being exposed to the COVID-19 virus. COVID-19 was first discovered in Wuhan, China. The rapid spread had resulted in almost the entire world being affected by the pandemic. The impact that was felt the most is the economic sector. The research purpose determined the impact of the COVID -19 pandemic on the income of Rebon Shrimp fishermen in Sukolilo Baru Surabaya before and during the pandemic. This research approach used the Qualitative Phenomenology method because the researcher looked at the phenomena that occurred during the COVID-19 pandemic. The result found the highest percentage of income ratio obtained by fishermen was 77%. The impact of the pandemic showed that in a drastic drop in income. The provision, socialization, and training of fishermen's mothers and fathers can greatly help them to stabilize the economy. Innovations and ideas that can be developed for the acqu isition of rebon shrimp, for example made into shrimp paste, shredded rebon shrimp, and others can become big business opportunities for fishermen in Sukolilo Baru.Keywords: Income, Impact of the COVID-19 Pandemic, Comparison.
