Abstract

This research employed the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method. Data collection procedures involved written tests and observations. The analysis revealed that the learning outcomes in mathematics, specifically addition, showed improvement by implementing the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) approach. The post-test results in cycle I showed a 81% achievement among students, and after interventions in cycle II, the post-test indicated an increased proficiency rate of 92%. Based on the research analysis conducted on the mastery of addition operations among 2nd-grade students at SDN Penjaringansari I/271 in cycle II using the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model, and considering the discussion on the lower mastery level of addition operations among IIA students, it can be concluded that the implementation of Project-Based Learning (PjBL) in the learning process effectively enhances the learning outcomes of 2A students, particularly in the area of addition operations.

Abstract

This research aims to optimize learning outcomes and active student involvement in Bahasa Indonesia lesson content for class V students at SDN Margorejo 1/403 Surabaya. This research is classroom action research which consists of four stages, namely planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The research subjects were 30 students in class V A of SDN Margorejo 1/403 Surabaya for the 2023/2024 academic year, consisting of 15 male students and 15 female students. The results of the implementation of the action showed an increase in learning outcomes for Indonesian language content by implementing the Problem Based Learning model with a score of 79. 80 and the average class score in cycle 2 was 84. 30. The completion percentage is 97%, which is above the classical achievement percentage set by the school at 80%. Thus, it can be concluded that PBL (Problem Based Learning) learning is considered effective in improving the learning outcomes of Bahasa Indonesia Lesson Content on fairy tales for class V A students at SDN Margorejo 1/403 Surabaya.

Abstract

This research is motivated by students who are not yet able to read at first. Some students still have difficulty distinguishing letters, their pronunciation is not correct and there are still many students who still spell. The problem found in this research can be said to be the lack of initial reading skills in class I students at SDN Wonokalang. The causal factors, apart from internal factors, are also external factors, namely the media and learning models used by teachers which are still less attractive. This research aims to improve beginning reading skills by using word choices in class I elementary school. This research is classroom action research which consists of two cycles, the data taken is teacher observation data carried out in each learning process using word combinations as media. This research was carried out in 4 stages, namely planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The results of this research show that using word-pias media can improve the reading skills of first grade elementary school students. The results of observations of students' reading skills showed an increase, as evidenced by the fact that in cycle I the reading skills were 62. 5% and had not reached a minimum of 75% of all students in the class. And it increased in cycle II to 87. 5%, reaching a minimum of 75% of all students in the class. It can be concluded that the use of pias-pias words can improve the initial reading skills of first grade elementary school students.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the learning outcomes of reading maps of Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) subjects in grade IV students through the implementation of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model. This research method is Classroom Action Research (PTK) involving 18 students as research subjects. The instruments used were pre-test and post-test written test sheets to evaluate the success of learning. The results showed an increase of 33% from cycle I to cycle II. In this study, teachers used Google Earth digital map media to help students learn to read maps. The implementation of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model succeeded in improving students' learning outcomes because this model directs students to be able to collaborate with their groupmates to solve a problem in the task. The results of this study provide positive benefits for students to know their home address completely and show it on a digital map. Hence, the understanding of the name of the location where the students live increases

Abstract

This research aims to improve the learning outcomes of class II-A students at SDIT Al-Fathimiyyah through the application of the Problem Based Learning model to question word material. The type of research used is quasi-experimental research. The research design is a post-test only control group design. The research subjects were 29 class II-A students at SDIT Al-Fathimiyyah in the 2023-2024 school year. Data collection techniques are by means of observation and tests. The research instruments used learning implementation observation sheets, cognitive test sheets, and attitude and skills observation sheets. Data analysis was carried out using descriptive and qualitative statistics. The results of this research show that all stages of Problem Based Learning were carried out well, the results of observations of students' attitudes showed that 90% met classical completeness, student learning results showed that 90% met the KKTP, the results of students' skills in presentations showed that 93% met classical completeness. The results of the reflection showed that all students felt happy and could understand the material being taught. The conclusion of this research is that the application of the Problem Based Learning model is effective in improving student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Interactive and interesting learning media has great potential to stimulate learners to respond positively to the learning material presented.comics are one of the interesting learning media for students. This study aims to increase students' interest in reading and learning outcomes through Comic media in Indonesian language subjects of non-fiction text material in class V SD Juara Surabaya. The results of the analysis obtained, students' interest in reading increased from pre-cycle 55, cycle I 81. 25 and in cycle II 87. 50. The ability to analyse the reading of students increased from pre-cycle 55, cycle I 83 and cycle II 89.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the increase in student activeness and learning outcomes in Pancasila Education lessons on Cultural Diversity material through flashcards media. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (PTK). The research subjects were 4th grade students of Taquma Surabaya Elementary School totaling 26 students. Data collection techniques using technical tests in the form of evaluation questions and non-tests in the form of observation. This research was conducted with two cycles. The results showed that in cycle 1 many students were not complete with only 60% completeness, in cycle 2 the completeness increased by 90% or 23 students and 10% or 3 students were not complete. As for the liveliness assessment in cycle 1, the liveliness of presentations and discussions is still lacking but has been improved in cycle 2 with the results that have developed as expected is 58% or 15 students where there is an increase of 6 students. , and those that have been cultured from a percentage of 35% or 9 students have increased by 14% or 11 students who have begun to be cultured. Thus proving that flashcards media can improve learning outcomes and student activeness in Pancasila Education lessons on Cultural Diversity material.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the learning outcomes of fourth-grade students in class IV-C at SD AL FALAH ASSALAM through the implementation of the Project Based Learning (PBL) model in vocabulary material. The type of research used is quasi-experimental research. The research design is one group post-test only. The subjects of the study are 20 students from class IV-C at SD AL FALAH ASSALAM for the 2023/2024 academic year. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation and testing. The research instruments used were observation sheets for the implementation of learning, cognitive test sheets, and reflection sheets for both teachers and students. Data analysis was performed using descriptive statistical and qualitative methods. The results of this study indicate that all stages of the Project Based Learning model were implemented well. The student attitude observation results showed 74%, while the student learning outcomes showed 78%, meeting the minimum competency standard (KKTP). The students' presentation skills were at 89%, meeting KKTP. Reflection results revealed that all students enjoyed the learning process and understood the material taught. In conclusion, the implementation of the Project Based Learning model was effective in improving student outcomes.

Abstract

This research aims to improve the motivation and learning outcomes of class V-B students at Zainuddin Elementary School through the application of the Problem Based Learningmodel to material on the human digestive system. The type of research used is quasi-experimental research. The research design is a pre-test and post test control group design. The subjects of the research carried out were 28 students in class VB of Zainuddin Elementary School, totaling 28 people for the 2023/2024 academic year. Data collection techniques were by observation and tests. The research instrument used learning implementation observation sheet, cognitive test sheets, and motivational observation sheets. The results of observation of students' attitudes showed that 86% met the KKTP, the learning outscome of students showed 93% met KKTP, the results of students' skills met 100% of the KKTP. The results of the reflection showed that 93% of students felt happy and could understand the material being taught. The conclusion of this research is that the application of the Problem Based Learning Model is effective in improving student learning outcomes.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the improvement of personal letter writing skills in class V students at SDN Simokerto VI/139 Surabaya through the application of the contextual teaching and learning model assisted by puzzle media in Indonesian language lessons. Through this contextual teaching and learning model, it is hoped that students will become more active, directly involved in learning, enthusiastic and enthusiastic about participating in learning activities carried out by the teacher. The approach used in this study is a qualitative approach. Meanwhile, the type of research used in this research is classroom action research. Data collection methods consist of observation, tests and documentation. Data analysis techniques are carried out using quantitative and qualitative data analysis techniques. Quantitative data is obtained from the results of students' formative tests at the end of learning. Qualitative data was obtained from observation data regarding the implementation of learning. The results of the research in cycle I showed that 20 students had completed scores above the KKTP or 69%, while 15. 3% had not yet completed. This result increased in cycle II to 82. 7%. It can be concluded that the contextual teaching and learning model can improve personal letter writing skills in class V students at SDN Simokerto VI/139 Surabaya.
