Abstract

This research aims to improve the learning outcomes of class IIA students at Maryam Islamic Elementary School through the application of the Problem Based Learning model on the Symbols and Values ​​of Pancasila Principles. The type of research used is quasi-experimental research. The research design is a post-test only control group design. The subjects of the research carried out were 28 class IIA students at Islam Maryam Elementary School, totaling 27 people for the 2023/2024 academic year. Data collection techniques are by means of observation and tests. The research instruments used learning implementation observation sheets, cognitive test sheets, and work result observation sheets. Data analysis was carried out using descriptive and qualitative statistics. The results of this research show that all stages of Problem Based Learning were carried out well, the results of observations of students' attitudes showed 100% fulfilled the KKTP, student learning results showed 92. 59% met the KKTP, the results of students' skills in 100% met the KKTP. The results of the reflection showed that all students felt happy and could understand the material being taught. The conclusion of this research is that the application of the Problem Based Learning model is effective in improving student learning outcomes.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to improve student learning outcomes in mathematics subjects with long unit material by applying the problem based learning (PBL) learning model. The method used in this research is a descriptive-quantitative method. The subject of this research were 24 grade 2 students from SD Negeri Tarik 1. Data was taken from pre-test and post-test scores at the beginning and end of learning activities. The results of the comparison of pre-test and post-test scores calculated using the N-gain percentage show that the results are quite effective. The average pre-test score was 50,21 and increased to an average post-test score of 77,50. The N-gain percentage value is 58,31%, which shows that this is quite effectively implemented for learning activities using the problem based learning (PBL) for mathematics subjects in grade 2 of elementary school from SD Negeri Tarik 1

Abstract

This research was carried out based on findings which showed that the 4C skills (Communication, Collaboration, Creativity and Innovation, Critical Thinking and Problem Solving) of class III students at Merarai 9th Elementary School were still low. The aim of this research is to improve the students' 4C skills. The learning model that can improve students' 4C skills to have 4C skills is the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model. A learning approach that can be integrated with the PBL model is the STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Mathematics) approach. The method used in the research is a quantitative method, while the design used is Classroom Action Research (PTK). Based on the results of this research, the author applies the STEAM integrated PBL model in Indonesian language learning on the material on the Concept of Changes in the Form of Objects in class III of Merarai 9 State Elementary School. The results of the learning implementation show that the application of the STEAM integrated PBL model can improve the 4C abilities of third grade elementary school students. Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning syntax was implemented with a percentage of 100%. The posttest results showed that 90% of students achieved scores above the KBM.

Abstract

This research aims to enhance the ability fifth-grade elementary school students to solve mathematical word problems through the implementation of the Problem Based Learning model developed by George Polya. The research methodology employed is Classroom Action Research (CAR), involving 22 students as research subject. Pre-test and post-test instruments were utilized to measure the students' proficiency in solving mathematical word problems. The findings indicate improvement, as evidenced by the average pre-test score in the first cycle, which was 44. 53 with a proficiency level of 4. 5%. In the first cycle, there was an increase in the average score to 71. 71, achieving a proficiency level of 54. 55%. In the second cycle, the average score further increased to 83. 83, with a proficiency level of 86. 36%

Abstract

This research aims to describe the application of the Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) learning model assisted by illustrated storybook media to improve the reading literacy of class III students at SD Muhammadiyah 8 Surabaya. This type of research is pre-experimental with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The research method is descriptive. The research population was 63 grade III students at SD Muhammadiyah 8 Surabaya. The sampling technique used purposive sampling with a sample of 19 class IIIB students. Data collection techniques are tests, observation, questionnaires and document review. Data collection instruments are test sheets, observation sheets, questionnaire sheets, written documents and recorded documents. The data analysis technique uses descriptive analysis. The conclusions of the research are: (1) Application of the CIRC learning model can increase students' reading literacy; (2) The application of the CIRC model assisted by illustrated story book media can increase interest in reading and ultimately improve student learning outcomes in Indonesian language learning.

Abstract

One way to solve the problem of students' low speaking skills in elementary schools is by implementing the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) learning model. The purpose of writing this article or research is to determine the application of the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) learning model using two-dimensional audio-visual media in order to improve students' speaking skills in Indonesian language subjects, retelling the contents of fictional stories and explaining their intrinsic elements in words. -words themselves logically, systematically, effectively and creatively. This research was carried out in class V-B of SDN Penjaringansari II/608 Surabaya. The research subjects were class V-B which consisted of 30 students. The data in this study consisted of speaking skills tests and written tests in the form of LKPD (Students' Worksheets). The results of the speaking skills test were taken from group observations during the presentation. The research results showed that when giving assignments via Student Worksheets (LKPD), the majority of students (80%) were able to understand fictional stories well and retell them briefly in written form, and could explain their intrinsic elements correctly. Speaking skills are measured through group presentations. The research results showed that all groups were able to fulfill the criteria very well for retelling according to the content of the story and using grammar, vocabulary and expressions correctly and variedly. In terms of language fluency criteria, 50% of students still need to improve their ability to pronounce language during presentations so that listeners can understand them well. On the criteria of expression and self-confidence, there are 67% of students who still need to improve their expression and self-confidence when making presentations. This shows that some parts of students still feel shy, nervous and lack of self-confidence.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to improve mathematics learning outcomes in Building Space material through the Problem Based Learning model for fifth grade students at Khadijah Elementary School for the 2023/2024 academic year. The form of this research is classroom action research, using a cycle model. Each cycle consists of four stages, namely planning, implementation, observation and reflection. Data collection techniques use observation, tests, documentation and interviews. Data validity uses triangulation techniques of sources, methods, investigators and theories as well as content validity. The performance indicator determined is that at the end of the cycle students who reach the KKTP (score 70) are 80% of the number of class V students. The data analysis technique uses comparative and critical descriptive analysis. The research procedure consists of two cycles, and each cycle consists of planning, action, observation or observation and reflection. The research results concluded that the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model could improve mathematics learning outcomes for fifth grade students at Khadijah Elementary School, Surabaya in 2023/2024. This is shown by the student learning results in cycle I, the highest score was 78 and the lowest score was 55, 6 students (31. 58%) achieved the KKTP with an average of 63. 11. In cycle II the student learning outcomes were the highest score of 85 and the lowest score of 70, 19 students (100%) achieved the KKTP with an average of 76. 32

Abstract

Improving the quality of education and developing the learning process is a problem that always demands attention. Mathematics learning outcomes will be obtained if there has been a learning process shown through creativity and learning models designed by teachers. The Problem Based Learning learning model is expected to be able to help students to get used to solving and analyzing a problem so that students' problem solving skills will be maximally formed. This research was conducted at Hang Tuah 12 Surabaya Elementary School in class 4 semester I of the 2023/2024 academic year with material thinking about how to count numbers. The research method used is a qualitative model obtained from the results of student evaluation and observation.comparison of research results from the first cycle with the second cycle to determine the success and shortcomings of the research with the benchmark for achieving KKM. The results of the study to determine the improvement of mathematics learning outcomes through PBL learning assisted by concrete object media in 4th grade elementary school students through 2 cycles as a comparison. In cycle 1 with 23 students, the highest score was 80, and the lowest score was 55, so the class average was 68. These results show 10 students (43%) have been completed, and 13 students (57%) who have not been completed. Meanwhile, in cycle 2 with 23 students, the highest score was 95, and the lowest score was 80, so the class average was 87. These results show 23 students (100%) have been completed and none have not been completed. The results obtained can be concluded that learning using the Problem Based Learning model assisted by concrete object media in grade 4 elementary school students can improve learning outcomes and make student scores complete or above KKM.

Abstract

The use of PBL techniques aims to improve student learning outcomes in identifying problems that occur in the environment, especially those related to norms and culture. PBL focuses on the student learning process, encouraging rediscovery, reflection, abstraction, formalization, problem solving, communication, and application of concepts. PBL also supports a fun and student-centered learning process. This research was attended by 21 grade 5 students at SD Muhammadiyah 8 Surabaya, and the process was carried out in two cycles using pre-test, post-test and observation sheets as assessment tools. The final results show an increase in learning outcomes after learning using the PBL method.

Abstract

This research aims to improve the mathematics learning outcomes of class 2A students of SD Negeri Ngagel Rejo 1/396 Surabaya for the 2022/2023 academic year through the application of the Problem-Based Learning model. This research involved 28 class 2A students with the type of Classroom Action Research (PTK) which was carried out for 2 cycles where each cycle was carried out in 1 meeting. Each cycle is carried out in 4 stages, namely planning, implementation, observation and reflection. Data were collected through evaluation tests of learning outcomes which were carried out at the end of each cycle and analyzed descriptively From the analysis of the data that has been done, it is found that the application of the Problem-Based Learning learning model can improve student learning outcomes. This can be seen from the average student learning outcomes in cycle 1 was 78. 9 with the percentage of students who completed KKTP was 79% and the average student learning outcomes in cycle 2 was 91, 42 with the percentage of students who completed KKTP is 91%. There was an increase in the average learning outcomes and the percentage of students who completed the KKTP.
