Abstract

Water carrying capacity is the capability of water to meet needs by considering water availability. This research uses quantitative approach methods. While the formula used to calculate the air carrying capacity is the runoff coefficient method of Permen LH No.17 in 2009 by comparing the water availability and water needs. The study of water carrying capacity is done to know the carrying capacity of water in Semarang Regency. The results of this study showed that the water carrying capacity in Semarang Regency in general in 2018 has a deficit, with the value of water carrying capacity at 0.66. However, three out of nineteen subdistricts can still meet their water needs or water surpluses is the subdistricts of Banyubiru, Susukan and Sumowono with each of the value of water carrying capacity of 2.58, 1.09 and 1.04. Meanwhile, in 2028 showed a decrease in the value of water carrying capacity in Kabupaten Semarang to 0.48. In 2028 there is only one district that can meet the needs of water or surplus water is Banyubiru subdistricts with a carrying capacity value of 1.96. The condition occurs in line with the land cover change that affects water availability, as well as a significant increase in population, causing water needs to increase as well. The results of this research can be input for the Semarang Regency government in determining the future policy, especially in the development.

Abstract

The plan for the construction of sea wall in Sayung Subdistrict, which was launched by the Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing, is a form of government intervention in the prevention of tidal floods in the Semarang-Demak region in the northern coastal. This development will be integrated with Semarang-Demak toll road. This decision is contradicting with the 2011-2031 Demak Urban Land-use Plan about planning of the northern Demak Regency as a Minapolitan area. According to (Larz T, 1995) the issue of regional planning is related to the inhabitants of the planning area. The readiness of the community is considered important therefore the program receives support from them. The purpose of this research is to find out how to increase the level of preparedness of the Sayung Subdistrict community towards the Semarang-Demak Toll Road development plan. This research uses the quantitative approach by using the scoring method using the Guttman scale. The result of this study is that the level of readiness of the Sayung Subdistrict community in each village is different. The lowest readiness ladder is in Sriwulan Village and Loireng Village that means no awareness as these villages on the first stage of readiness. In Purwosari Village, Sayung Village and Tambakroto Village are on the third stage of the readiness ladder that means vague awareness. Whereas Sidogemah Village and Bedono Village are on the fourth stage called pre-planning that means the most prepared villages.

Abstract

BRT Trans Semarang is an alternativ     e solution to reduce private vehicles in Semarang City. In order to improve the services of BRT it is important the customer satisfaction for using BRT. Customer Satisfaction index is an instrument to measure the performance of BRT. The quality of service which is using customer satisfaction index include reliability, convenience, comfort and cleanliness, security and safety. The analysis show the performance of BRT’s Semarang city is good indicated by Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) and Importance Performance Analysis (IPA). The analysis by Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) show a result 79%. The level of service is show the services of BRT Trans Semarang has high quality in reliability, convenience, comfort and cleanliness, security and safety. The performance of the BRT of Trans Semarang service is important to always improve. This needs to maintain user satisfaction with the BRT of Trans Semarang BRT. Based on an evaluation of the technical performance and the results of the Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) show the several quality of services should be priorities to improvement are the standing space and seating for passengers, improvement in the driver/driver attitude when driving BRT, the improvement in the attitude of officers when serving passengers and the ease for passengers to get BRT both when peak hour and off peak hour hours and after work and then the convenience for passengers to get the latest information about route changes.

Abstract

A good urban park should be easily accessible and friendly for people with disabilities because they have the same right in accessing the park. Kambang Iwak Besak Park is the most visited active urban park in Palembang. Besides, Kambang Iwak Besak Park is often visited by wheelchair disabilities people because there are some facilities that are available for them. However, there are some disabilities facilities problems, such as very steep ramps and the size of facilities for the wheelchair disabilities which do not met the standarFds yet. According to this quality problem of the wheelchair disabled facilities, this study aimed to find out the quality of the wheelchair facilities based on the users in Kambang Iwak Besak Park. This research used quantitative approach with descriptive analysis methods. Descriptive analysis was used to see the availability of the facilities wheelchair. The results of this study showed that the quality of wheelchair disabled facilities are still poor. From 6 variables, only 1 variable has good quality, which is the pedestrian path. The 5 variables that are still not good enough are the entrance lane, the parking area, the drinking place, and toilets. It is related to the accessibility of facilities, ease of access, comforts, and safety.

Abstract

The increase in the population of Semarang City has implications for the rapid increase in the number of motorized vehicles. On that basis, Semarang City Government developed a policy idea with a road network development program for bike lanes as a solution to increase the use of non-motorized vehicles. The lack of supporting infrastructure for bicycle lanes makes the community feel less comfortable, less safe, and less interested when using bicycles on the highway. The purpose of this study is to determine the road network for bike lane in Semarang city. The method used is a mixed method with descriptive analysis and overlay analysis. The results of this study stated that the road network for bicycle lanes in Semarang City more suitable for recreation and sports, the road network zone for bicycle lane in Semarang City divided is five priorities, and the suitability of the road network zones for bicycle lanes and the bicycle road network plan shows there are 16 suitable road networks out of 19 planned road networks.

Abstract

The urban problem that is often experienced by developing countries is the high change of land use in a housing into commercial land. It happens because people often use existing facilities in urban areas regardless of their carrying capacity. The impacts that can be caused generally affect the capacity of transportation facilities and infrastructure. Therefore, changes in land use can affect trip generation. One of the transportation analyzes related to trip generation is trip attraction. The sample location chosen is in the Tlogosari Bumi Housing which has the characteristics of land use change from residential to multifunction land use. There are two types of data used, namely primary data and secondary data. The method used is descriptive analysis, and multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that the attraction of travel on Tlogosari Raya street is influenced by the number of employees. The recommendation that needs to be done is to enforce permits to control land use change.

Abstract

Indonesia has many village resilience developed in various districts and cities, including one in Pekalongan Regency, namely in Wonokerto Regency. The impact of climate change that is sustainable and determines the lives of rural communities, special strategies are needed to shape community resilience in the face of disasters, namely flooding. Adaptation carried out by the local community is to raise houses and roads to reduce the entry of water into the house. The purpose of this study is to assess the level of resilience of rural communities facing tidal flooding in coastal areas. Bearing in mind the catastrophic events due to climate change on the availability of land resources that affect the ecological conditions of the environment, economy, and social communities and infrastructure in the study area. the research method used is a quantitative method with analytical tools such as Geographic Information Systems and community resilience calculation. The results of a community resilience study conducted found that people in the coastal areas of Wonokerto Subdistrict were in a low economic condition with a score of 0.39, this is because most of the people working depend on the area. It is hoped that the government can be more sensitive to provide assistance to people who really need help.

Abstract

Lakkang Island has several tourism potentials such as natural, cultural and historical aspects where their spots merge together with the local settlement. Due to the sprawling settlement and its less development direction towards sustainability, the problems then arise. Hence, the settlement arrangements rooting for tourism are needed to control its development and to avoid the impact of losing its site-origin identity. Also, it can improve the quality of its environment and the living standards of the locals at once. The research objectives are to identify the physical and non-physical condition of Lakkang’s settlements and to analyze as well as to compile a settlement arrangement concept supporting sustainable tourism based on the local wisdom. The research data were collected through observation, interview, questionnaire, literature study, and documentation. The data are then analyzed using spatial analysis methods, descriptive qualitative and quantitative. This research provides the concept of Lakkang Island tourism development by concerning towards the 4A concept (attraction, accessibility, amenities and ancillary) as well as the arrangement of settlement facilities and infrastructure to support the quality improvement and various sustainable tourism

Abstract

Ke-Bhineka-an budaya serta sejarah di Indonesia menjadi warna tersendiri karena memberikan identitas serta ke-khasan yang berbeda pada setiap kota di dalamnya. Kota Bogor, salah satu kota pusaka yang ada di Indonesia, memiliki jejak-jejak sejarah dan kebudayaan yang dapat dilihat pada kawasan Pecinan Suryakencana. Kawasan ini terletak pada koridor Jalan Suryakencana yang merupakan daerah kegiatan perdagangan dan jasa skala pelayanan kota. Letaknya yang strategis di tengah kota menjadi tantangan karena memicu komersialisasi bangunan sehingga banyak bangunan yang semakin tenggelam dengan perkembangan fisik lingkungan kota yang kian modern khususnya pada bangunan-bangunan yang mengandung karakter yang khas. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana kondisi karakteristik kawasan Pecinan pada koridor Jalan Suryakencana Kota Bogor dengan pendekatan morfologi kota berdasarkan aspek fisik dan aspek nonfisik kawasan. Adapun metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kuantitatif dengan teknik analisis deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Analisis deskriptif kualitatif dilakukan untuk mendeskripsikan karakter dari setiap komponen data. Selanjutnya, dilakukan pengukuran secara kuantitatif dengan TOM (Trained Observer Method) menggunakan skoring. Hasil analisis penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kondisi kawasan pecinan pada koridor Jalan Suryakencana Kota Bogor memiliki karakter kawasan pecinan yang sedang, terdapat karakter yang lemah seperti bentuk fasad bangunan pada beberapa bangunan yang mulai berubah, rusak, dan tidak terawat sehingga mengurangi sense pada kawasan tersebut. Dengan demikian, diperlukan adanya pelestarian kawasan guna mempekuat karakteristik kawasan pecinan pada koridor Jalan Suryakencana Kota Bogor.

Abstract

Land degradation is a phenomena of the decreasing in land use function, potential use and irreplaceable organism. Many causes result in land degradation such as soil erosion, rain erosion which are all accelerated by human activities example agricultural activity. Increased agricultural activity is caused by an increase in population and also increasing food needs. Land exploitation for agricultural activities result in land degradation such as planting on conservation areas that cause erosion. Kledung Sub-district is one of the regions that practices massive agricultural land use and plants in a conservation land. Practices in Kledung Sub-district have caused floods and soil erosion in Kledung Sub-district in the last few years. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of land degradation that occurred in Kledung Sub-district and its implications for the land use planning to increase awareness of various parties about the dangers of land degradation. This research was conducted primarily by observation and secondary b examining documents about the indicators causing land degradation and conducting descriptive and quantitative analyzes. The quantitative analyze is using RUSLE (Revised Universal Soil Loss Equation). The analysis shows that the majority of erosion according to the Ministry of Forestry is moderate (>60-80 tons/ha/yr) covering1.231,01 Ha and according to Hammer which is very high (>100 tons/ha/yr) covering 469,62 Ha or 12,7% of the total area of Kledung Sub-district with a high level of erosion hazard it is necessary to evaluate the land use planning of Kledung Sub-district so that it can adjust the land use planning and the erosion hazard level in Kledung Sub-district.
