Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of liquidity and capital structure on firm value, with profitability as a moderating variable. The study population was transportation and logistics companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2020-2024. The purposive sampling technique involved 26 companies. The analysis method used moderated regression analysis (MRA). The results obtained in this study indicate that liquidity has no effect on firm value, while capital structure has a positive effect on firm value. Profitability moderates the effect of liquidity on firm value, but profitability does not moderate the effect of capital structure on firm value. Practically, the study provides insights for managers and investors in the transportation and logistics sector on how to balance liquidity, leverage, and profitability in order to enhance firm value and generate positive market signals. These results indicate that companies need to pay attention to liquidity, capital structure, and profitability performance to increase firm value, which will provide a signal to investors.

Abstract

This study examines the influence of Diversity Hiring Practices and Inclusion Training Programs on Workforce Diversity , mediated by Employee Perception of Inclusion, in manufacturing companies in the East Jakarta Industrial Park (EJIP) area. In the Industry 4.0 era, workforce diversity is a strategic factor that can drive innovation and organizational performance. This study uses a quantitative approach with data collection through questionnaires on 141 respondents selected by purposive sampling. The research variables were measured using a 5-point Likert scale, and data analysis was conducted with SmartPLS. The results of the study indicate that Diversity Hiring Practices and Inclusion Training Programs do not have a significant direct effect on Workforce Diversity. However, through Employee Perception of Inclusion as a mediating variable, both provide a significant positive contribution to workforce diversity. Employee perceptions of inclusivity have been shown to be a strategic mechanism that transforms diversity initiatives into substantial results. This highlights the theoretical novelty of the research, where signal theory is applied earlier in the analysis to explain how diversity-related signals shape employee inclusion perceptions and translate into organizational outcomes. Furthermore, this study highlights that the success of diversity initiatives requires a holistic approach that encompasses the development of an inclusive organizational culture, employee retention, and a comprehensive training strategy. This study provides theoretical contributions through the integration of signal theory in a manufacturing context, explaining how organizational signals influence employee perceptions and behaviors. Practically, these results provide a foundation for organizations to design more effective diversity strategies, including the implementation of experience-based training and inclusive leadership development. The implications of this research encourage further exploration of workforce diversity management strategies, particularly in highly structured industrial environments.

Abstract

This study presents an analysis of the effect of decision making autonomy and employee involvement in strategy planning on employee empowerment with intrinsic motivation as a mediating variable in manufacturing companies in the MM2100 area. In the era of increasingly fierce industrial competition, employee empowerment is an important strategy for companies to improve performance and competitiveness. Decision making autonomy and employee involvement in strategy planning are considered important factors that can support employee empowerment by increasing their intrinsic motivation. This research uses quantitative methods. The population used is all employees who work for manufacturing companies in the MM2100 area with a sample size of 200 respondents. The sampling used in this study is a non probability sampling technique with purposive sampling method. The data in this study were analysed using the SmartPLS version 3.0 method. The novelty of this research lies in its integration of decision making autonomy and strategic involvement as dual antecedents of empowerment within the Indonesian manufacturing context, offering a fresh perspective compared to prior studies that typically examine these constructs in isolation. Furthermore, the study contributes theoretically by extending empowerment literature to highlight the mediating role of intrinsic motivation, while also providing practical implications for managers in manufacturing firms to design participatory structures that directly enhance competitiveness.

Abstract

This study examines the effect of Technology Adoption Support and Continuous Skill Development Programs on Digital Competency in manufacturing companies in Bekasi Regency, with Learning Agility as a mediating variable. In the context of rapid digital transformation, the development of digital competencies is very important to face the challenges of Industry 4.0. The purpose of this study is to understand the relationship between technology support and skills development programmes on employees' digital capabilities. The method used is quantitative, with sampling through questionnaire respondents from the manufacturing sector in the Bekasi Regency industrial area, to gain insight into employee digital skills readiness. The novelty of this research lies in addressing inconsistent findings from previous studies by demonstrating how learning agility functions as a crucial mediator that links continuous skill development and technology support with digital competency. Theoretically, the study contributes to human resource and digital transformation literature by clarifying the mechanism through which agility accelerates digital capability building in manufacturing contexts. Practically, the findings provide explicit implications for HR managers and policymakers, highlighting the need to design training and technology adoption programs that not only enhance technical skills but also foster employees’ adaptive learning capabilities, ensuring sustainable competitiveness in the Industry 4.0 era.

Abstract

Knowledge sharing behavior in companies is used to measure the extent to which individuals or employees are willing and active in exchanging information, experiences, and ideas with colleagues. Factors that influence knowledge sharing behavior are collaborative work environment and incentives to share knowledge. This study aims to examine the direct and indirect relationships between the variables of collaborative work environment, incentives to share knowledge, organizational culture and knowledge sharing behavior with the object of research, namely automotive companies in the MM2100 area. The research was conducted using quantitative methods. The population used is all employees who work in the MM2100 area with a sample size of 133 respondents, the sampling technique used is the probability sampling technique with the purposive sampling method. Data collection is done through google form in filling out an online survey. Data analysis in this study used the help of the SmartPLS software program version 3.0. The novelty of this study lies in integrating organizational culture as a mediating factor that has not been widely tested in Indonesian manufacturing, thereby offering a fresh perspective on how structural and motivational elements jointly shape knowledge sharing. Theoretically, the findings contribute to expanding social exchange and organizational learning theories by clarifying the mechanisms through which collaboration and incentives foster knowledge sharing behavior. Practically, the study provides important implications for HR managers in the automotive sector to design incentive systems, strengthen collaborative practices, and cultivate cultures that encourage continuous knowledge exchange to improve innovation and competitiveness.
