Abstract

The Central Java government was planning to reoperate unused railway, considering the road traffic that was increasing rapidly in Central Java. Today, Central Java region has 663 km of unoperated railway. Most of it was located in the 4th operational region (DAOP IV). This research was planned to make a priority scales about railways which had some potensial to reopen and its properness financially. The activating priority scales which was used in this operation based on analytical demand and analytical supply. Analytical demand consists of the traffic rate and the amount of passenger’s movements at the OD datas. Whereas, analytical supply consists of analytical techniques seen from field conditions such as terrain availability, tools or places conditions, and accessibility. The results shows that unoperated track between Semarang-Demak-Purwodadi-Blora-Cepu has the most potencial to reactivate again for passengers purpose. On the other hand, unoperated track which goes to Tanjung Emas Harbour also become the most potencial track to reactivate considering increasing activities in this harbour. Based on the analytical results, there were two passenger’s scenarios for shifting the use of  train transport, optimisstic scenario and pessimistic scenario. The optimisstic scenario was estimated to had 5058 passengers/day. While, the pessimistic scenario was estimated to had 1759 passengers/day. In order to reactivate the unoperated track between Semarang-Demak-Purwodadi-Blora-Cepu, a new construction was needed. It was because some of the old constructions were vanished and the railway type was very tiny, which were R.25 and R.33 type. All of those things above made this project highly cost, not to mention tools and operational funds to spend for its. From the financial view, the analytical result shows that NPV value was positive, BCR > 1, so it was good enough to reactivated. But, looking at the FIRR results, Semarang-Purwodadi track is the best option, considering its value is 5,69%, while for Semarang-Demak track is only 3,49%, and for Semarang-Cepu track is only 3,47%.  For a better result, reactivation process of this track need to consider surrounding area within the track. Also, it needs better knowledge to understand commodity and region potential in order to raise the incomes.

Abstract

In addition to the construction of an alternative form of water reservoirs, to tackle the problem at the Weirs Karangtalun can also be by way of construction of the barrage. The reason for the need for the construction of the dam movement emerged based on the survey results, which show that Karangtalun weir downstream conditions are now damaged due deggredasi riverbed downstream. Weir crest had already suffered some damage due to collision damage to the stone. It is feared that one day the dam will collapse.Barrage to capture the motion of the water to drain Progo river can be more time in the count because of the barrage that comes w ith taking the doors and door rinse. raw water needs in the catchemet area Progo 2 of irrigation kalibawang and mataram, flood discharge plan is designed with 100-year return period of 1157 m3/sec.Barrage height of 10 m. Weir is equipped with radial main door, stilling basin using the threshold type width of 35 m. Construction of barrage to cost about 222 billion and a plan of implementation 40 weeks.

Abstract

Pelabuhan Batu Ampar terletak di Pulau Batam yang merupakan kawasan perdagangan bebas dan pelabuhan bebas dengan arus kedatangan kapal dan volume bongkar muat barang dan peti kemas yang tinggi sehingga lama masa sandar kapal sangat penting. Kinerja pelabuhan Batu Ampar dinilai lamban karena layanan dermaga tidak maksimal sehingga mengakibatkan banyaknya antrian kapal sehingga perlu adanya evaluasi mengenai analisis kinerja layanan, dan SWOT pengelolaan pelabuhan Batu Ampar. Data lalu lintas kapal dan bongkar muat barang yang diperlukan untuk analisis diperoleh dari Kantor Pelabuhan Laut BP Batam, selain itu diperlukan data pendukung tambahan yang diperoleh dari hasil observasi lokasi dan wawancara. Evaluasi dilakukan dengan melakukan analisis data lalu lintas kapal dan bongkar muat barang pada tahun 2012-2016 untuk mengetahui berth occupancy ratio (BOR), yard occupancy ratio (YOR), berth thoughput (BTP), dan kapasitas alat.Hasil analisis data selama penelitian diperoleh tingkat kinerja terminal pada tahun 2016 berdasarkan persamaan BOR (berth occopuncy ratio / kinerja dermaga) beberapa tambatan diperoleh nilai BOR yang telah melebihi persyaratan UNCTAD, serta peti kemas yang lewat dermaga (BTP / berth throughtput) 286 TEUs/meter panjang dermaga/tahun. Kinerja lapangan penumpukan peti kemas mempunyai nilai YOR (yard occupancy ratio) 34,3%  untuk peti kemas yang ditumpuk di container yard. Nilai BOR telah melebihi syarat UNCTAD sehingga perlu adanya pengembangan pelabuhan Batu Ampar pada terminal multipurpose dan terminal peti kemas dermaga utara.Dari hasil analisis SWOT diperoleh strategi untuk memaksimalkan potensi yang ada yaitu dengan memperbaiki kinerja pelayanan pelabuhan. Selain itu, untuk menghadapi permasalahan maka perlu adanya optimalisasi dermaga dengan mengoperasionalkan dermaga peti kemas utara yang belum berfungsi dan memperbaiki produktivitas peralatan bongkar muat. Pada terminal multipurpose dari tahun 2016 sampai dengan tahun 2019 perlu  peningkatan layanan kinerja bongkar muat dengan diadakan penambahan alat yaitu 1 unit mobile crane, dan pada terminal peti kemas dermaga utara perlu penambahan peralatan bongkar muat yaitu  2 unit  container crane, dan 1 unit RTG.

Abstract

The micro voids in the cement paste of cementitious material drastically reduce the load-carrying capacity of the element, due to the reduction in area. On the other hand, the weak interface between aggregates and mortar induces micro-crack initiation and promote crack propagation. It therefore becomes curial to reduce the voids in the mortar, and promotes a better hydration degree of cement. A method that has been proven effective is the use of nano-cement particles. The smaller cement particles will result in a better hydration process, and create less large ettringites and calcium hydrates. This research work studied the effect of nano-cement percentage in the mortar mix by the substitution method. The ratio in weight of the nano-cement with respect to the normal cement ranged from 0%, 20%, 40%, 60%, 80%, to 100%. The specimens sized 50 × 50 × 50 mm were tested at the age of 28 days to obtain their compression strength. The cement-to-sand proportion was 1 to 2.75, while a water-cement-ratio of 0.485 was maintained throughout the experiments. Two cement types, PCC (Portland Composite Cement) and PPC (Portland Pozzolane Cement), all Indonesian based products, were compared to obtain a picture of the overall cement condition in Indonesia, and the effectiveness of the nano-cement use to each of the types.

Abstract

In the early design, RSUD Tangerang was built as 5 floor height building, but in the development process, it redesigned to add 3 more floors above the existing. Therefore, it needs a  re-analysis so the strength of the structure to resist the additional loads and earthquake load effect can be known. So the RSUD Tangerang Structure can be changed or reinforced.The result of the analysis is there are some columns that are not fulfilling the safety requirement due to temporary load combination (earthquake load effect). Therefore, it needs a retrofition, in this case it uses Jacketing Method, where this retrofition can strengthen and rigidify the structure. And for foundation, analysis can be done by ASD method.Concluded from ASD method  due to temporary load (earthquake load effect), foundation can not hold the vertical load so it needs a retrofition. From the analysis result, only the P3 pilecap with 3 piles that is not able to hold the vertical load. The retrofition that can be used is combining P3 and P3’ pilecaps.

Abstract

Sriwijaya region is an area of trade, services, commercial and residential in Semarang. This has sparked occurrence of resurgence, resulting in traffic jams in the area is increasing. The corridor of the Sriwijaya Street in existing condition is very crowded time in the morning, afternoon and evening due to the shopping centers, offices and residential. Because of these problems it will be planned traffic management, road widening and green design time. In this study will be discussed on the performance of existing traffic, traffic performance after the construction of the building, traffic performance in 2020 and traffic performance after application of some solutions will be used is the method of analysis MKJI 1997. Building area of amusement park, hotel and store is calculated to obtain resurgence happened. The amount of resurgence then charged on each road, after getting overburdened traffic volume resurgence performance analysis, intersection isn’t signalized and performance road intersection hotspot. From the amount list of vehicles from 2010 through 2014 found the rate of growth is 7,88 used to predict traffic conditions 5 years to come, so it can be selected solution that can solve problems up to 5 years. Test results are as follows traffic management course deemed unable to cope with traffic jams problems that occur so need to be widening at Jalan Sriwijaya and need to redesign the green time.

Abstract

Semarang roads - Kendal, which is part of the North Coast, an arterial road linking central basis of national economic activity. With the increased traffic on North Coast Road, and included on this road, especially with the presence of a growing number of trucks that are overweight  overloaded on this road, so for the next few years is expected to be down this path of service, either in terms of traffic performance and the performance of the pavement. Given these problems, this study is conducted to evaluate the performance of road traffic Semarang - Kendal and estimate the need for the added layer of the existing pavement as a result of overloading (overloading) is. For purposes of analysis, the method used in this research capacity (MKJI) to analyze traffic performance, and methods of Highways 2002 to analyze the needs of additional layers as a result of overloading. From the results of the analysis, found that the value of the performance of the traffic for the roads to be reviewed on line Semarang - Kendal, the value of DS = 0.74 in 2019, while in the opposite lane (Kendal - Semarang) DS values obtained larger is equal to 0.79; thus advisable to increase the geometric path (such as road widening) or by shifting part of the burden to the rail mode as a solution to improve traffic performance in the coming years. As for the analysis of the existing pavement, this study used two types of load, which is ideal load (with reference to the amount of the allowable load or JBI) and actual load (of the survey). The analysis showed that in the year 2019 plan, the road Semarang - Kendal takes a thick layer added by 6 cm (for ideal weight) and 10 cm (for actual expenses). If the residual life analysis, then by applying the actual load on the existing pavement was found that the existing pavement structure can only support the weight overload for 4 years and 2 months of age 10-year plan.

Abstract

Dalam suatu proyek konstruksi faktor yang menjadi indikator keberhasilan suatu proyek adalah harus tepat biaya, waktu dan mutu. Untuk mencapai target tersebut perlu dilakukan perencanaan, penjadwalan, dan pengendalian pelaksanannya secara tepat. Konsep Nilai Hasil (Earned Value) merupakan salah satu metode pengendalian yang digunakan untuk mengendalikan biaya dan waktu proyek secara terpadu. Metode ini digunakan untuk menganalisis kinerja pelaksanaan dan membuat perkiraan penyelesaian proyek yang memberikan informasi kinerja proyek pada suatu periode pelaporan dan menghasilkan estimasi biaya dan waktu untuk penyelesaian seluruh pekerjaan proyek. Proyek Pembangunan Jembatan Pethuk 1 Ruas Jalan Kota Kupang mengalami keterlambatan karena adanya perubahan metode pelaksanaan erection girder. Dalam paper ini disajikan hasil analisa Konsep Nilai Hasil untuk mengevaluasi kinerja, mengestimasi keterlambatan proyek, dan pembengkakan biaya secara keseluruhan Dari hasil analisis didapat hasil bahwa Proyek Pembangunan Jembatan Petuk 1 Ruas Jalan Lingkar Kota Kupang mengalami keterlambatan 30 minggu. Dampak keterlambatan tersebut adalah biaya yang membengkak sebesar 206 juta. Penyebab keterlambatan pekerjaan proyek karena adanya perubahan metode pelaksanaan portal gantry diganti menjadi launcher dan pembengkakan biaya diakibatkan karena biaya sewa alat yang idle. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa perubahan metode pelaksanaan yang tidak direncanakan dengan mantap menyebabkan kerugian yang signifikan pada proyek.

Abstract

Tidal flood which’s occured at Pekalongan City/District entered into settlement through a river that empties into the sea, beach and drainage. This condition will be critical when at the same time the highest tides and great flood. Tidal flood is predicted to increase due to rising sea levels ranged from 4,46 to 4,60 mm/year and there’s land subsidence about 3 cm/year. Tidal flood which’s enter into settlements with the river one of them occurred at Sengkarang river system (Sengkarang river, Meduri river and Bremi river). The occurrence of runoff in rivers such as the capacity of the river current is smaller than the existing discharge. To overcome this, the rivers will be evaluated its capacity to discharge plans return period of 25 years (Q25) which is accompanied by tidal conditions. Analysis is needed to evaluate the capacity of the river including hydrological, tidal and hydraulic analysis. Hydrological analysis is used to calculate the flood discharge plan with the HSS Gama 1 method. Tidal analysis is used to determine the height of the sea surface elevation. Hydraulic analysis is used to calculate the capacity and dimensions of the river using HEC-RAS 4.1 software. HEC-RAS simulation performed with two scenarios. The first scenario is the merge of the downstream of Meduri river and Bremi river with Sengkarang river. The second scenario is the separate of the downstream of Meduri river and Bremi river with Sengkarang river. Results from HEC-RAS simulation with discharge plans Q25 and tidal conditions/HHWL for existing cross-section of the river showed that hydraulically separated model is more profitable than merge model because the water level in separated scenario is lower than the merge scenario and estimated from sedimentation will better because its estuary has been separated.

Abstract

Asphalt mixture performance needs to be improved by modifying the asphalt mixture  to produce a strong, durable and high plastic-deformation resistance. While the presence of abundance of plastic waste takes 1000 years to be decomposed perfectly by land. According to the facts,this research  was proposed to improve performance of asphalt mixture by utilizing plastic waste. This is because plastic has high softening point so that it is expected to be able to increase asphalt mixture resistance against the effects of temperature and elasticity. The research was done by substituting a part of filler with LDPE plastic waste in asphalt mixture. Different contents of LDPE, i.e. 0%, 2%, 4% and 6% of the weight of asphalt, were used in this study to simulate the effect of plastic content on mixture performance.  Fifteen samples of AC-WC mixture were made for each variation of LDPE content and all were compacted by 2x75 blows. Then, the mixtures were evaluated by terms of 6 Marshall properties, that is, stability, flow, MQ, VIM, VMA and VFA, one additional parameter, namely Index residual strength (IRS). It resulted  that mixtures with plastic tend to less dense (as showed by higher air voids) and become more rigid (as showed by high stability but low flow). This indicates that the addition of LDPE could make the mixture becoming more rigid but porous causing it has good resistance to plastic deformation but it is more susceptible to cracking and less durable. Although the results showed that mixture with LDPE was not better than conventional mixture, the use of this mixture for underlying layer like AC-BC is still possible. And this is supported by all Marshall properties on selected types (2% and 4%) could fulfil the specification issued by Directorate General of Highway (Bina Marga).
