Abstract

This study aims to examine the enhancement of social skills through Islamic Religious Education (PAI). Islamic Religious Education plays a crucial role in shaping students' moral and social character. The enhancement of social skills such as communication, cooperation, tolerance, and empathy among students is central to this study. The approach used in this research includes qualitative methods based on library research. The data collection technique involves gathering secondary data from various sources such as books, journals, and previous research. The findings indicate that Islamic Religious Education, when presented with an interactive and contextual approach, can significantly improve students' social skills. For example, group discussions in Islamic Religious Education classes encourage students to be more open and respectful of others' opinions, while community service activities instill values of empathy and care for others. These findings affirm that integrating Islamic values into daily educational practices can strengthen social bonds and prepare students to become more adaptive individuals who contribute positively to society. The conclusion of this research is that Islamic Religious Education not only serves as a means of religious instruction but also as an effective instrument in the development of essential social skills for community life

Abstract

This study discusses the significant role of Islamic religious education teachers in shaping students' character within the school environment. Teachers are not only responsible for delivering the curriculum but also serve as role models and motivators for students. Through a holistic approach, teachers can integrate religious values into students' daily lives, thereby fostering the development of positive attitudes, ethics, and morals. Abstract

The integration of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) and local culture is a strategic approach to enhancing the relevance and effectiveness of religious education in communities rich in local traditions. The aim of this study is to improve the integration of Islamic religious education and local culture, and to explore how combining Islamic values with local wisdom can enrich the learning process, strengthen cultural identity, and foster social harmony. In examining the integration of Islam and local culture, the author employs a qualitative research method by collecting data through library research. The findings of this study indicate that integrating Islamic Religious Education and local culture can deepen learners' understanding of religion in a more contextual way that aligns with local values, while also promoting the preservation of traditional culture. Emphasizing the universal values of Islam that are in synergy with local wisdom can also strengthen mutual respect and tolerance among community members. The conclusion of this study is that effective integration requires collaboration among educators, religious leaders, and the community to design a harmonious curriculum, along with training that supports consistent implementation in practice. This approach not only enriches religious education but also contributes to a more inclusive and dynamic cultural diversity

Abstract

The demands on graduates of educational institutions are increasingly pressing. In addition to competition between educational institutions, educational institutions must also meet minimum graduation standards. This research uses a qualitative approach using data collection techniques, observation, interviews and documentation. Abstract

Education is a process that is intertwined with both personal existence and society. In order to increase motivation and grow student learning activities, the teacher's function as a motivator is very important. The aim of this research is to find out how well teachers use motivation and to find out how much influence teacher motivation has on student learning achievement. In improving learning achievement, teachers must be able to develop motivation in every teaching and learning activity. For this reason, it is necessary to have a communicative teaching and learning atmosphere between teachers and students, because it can arouse students' learning motivation to carry out learning activities effectively and efficiently. This research uses a qualitative approach, namely describing and explaining the influence of teacher motivation on student learning achievement. The data collection technique used in this research is library study where library study is the activity of collecting materials related to research originating from books, scientific journals, literature and other publications that are suitable as sources for future research. researched by the author, by describing and explaining the data through several expert opinions. The results of this research show that good teacher motivation can significantly increase student learning achievement.

Abstract

This study analyzes the poem "Jeritan Perempuan yang Melawan" by Nolinia Zega using a qualitative method with an ecofeminist approach. The research focuses on the representation of the relationship between women and nature expressed through symbolism in the poem. Data were collected through documentation, reading, and note-taking techniques, with textual excerpts as the primary source. The analysis reveals that the poem reflects the exploitation of women and nature as a consequence of patriarchal systems. Symbolisms such as the body, fire, and landscape illustrate the resilience of women, paralleling the regenerative capacity of nature. Through these symbols, the poem critiques structural injustices that oppress women and damage the environment. This research affirms that poetry serves not only as an aesthetic medium but also as a tool for articulating social and ecological criticism. The ecofeminist approach provides new insights into how literature can bridge ecological awareness and gender justice.

Abstract

This research explores the relevance of maqashid sharia the law policy for women and children in Indonesian law. As the main principle of Islamic law, maqashid sharia aims to protect five fundamental aspects of humans, namely religion (hifz ad-din), mental (hifz an-nafs), intelligence (hifz al-aql), offspring (hifz an-nasl), and property (hifz al-mal). In the context of family law, the implementation of maqashid sharia can strengthen the protection of women and children, especially on the issues of custody, domestic violence, and discrimination. This research uses a qualitative approach based on literature review to analyze and connected the positive laws, such as Marriage Law No. 1 of 1974 and the Compilation of Islamic Law (KHI), with Islamic values. The results show that the application of maqashid sharia allowing family law to reform being fair and responsive to what community needs, especially children and women’s groups that have high risk with what we mention above Maqashid sharia-based policies also have the potential to overcome social challenges such as patriarchal norms, and create a balance between legal and moral aspects. Thus, the application of these principles not only supports family justice and welfare, but also strengthens a legal system that is inclusive and relevant to the Indonesian context.

Abstract

This journal examines aspects of banjar customary law in social life, which is an integral part of the legal system in Indonesia, especially in South Kalimantan. Unwritten Banjar customary law reflects cultural values and traditions of the local community, and is rooted in social norms and Islamic teachings. Social norms and Islamic teachings. This research aims to explore the application of Banjar customary law in various aspects of life, including marriage, inheritance and conflict resolution. Through a qualitative research method that relies on literature sources, it is found that Banjar customary law is still relevant and respected in the modern context despite facing challenges from modernization and integration with state law. The results research shows that Banjar customary law functions as a moral and social guidelines that maintain harmony in society. Aspects such as marriage procedures that involve family deliberation, inheritance distribution that pays attention to sharia principles, as well as dispute resolution through customary mediation. sharia principles, as well as dispute resolution through customary mediation, reflect the values of justice and togetherness. However, challenges such as erosion of local culture and the influence of modernization threaten the sustainability of customary law. Therefore, it is important to understand the dynamics of Banjar customary law in the context of social change in order to maintain the cultural identity of the Banjar community in the midst of globalization.

Abstract

Multicultural education has become a crucial approach in responding to the growing global social diversity. This study aims to compare the perspectives and implementation of multicultural education in developed and developing countries. Using a qualitative approach, this research analyzes the multicultural education policies, challenges faced, and implementation strategies in both types of countries. The findings reveal that developed countries, with better educational resources and infrastructure, tend to have more structured and inclusive approaches to multicultural education, although they still face issues such as social segregation and inequality of access. In contrast, developing countries, despite facing significant challenges related to limited resources and socio-economic disparities, demonstrate more adaptive approaches in integrating multicultural values into their curricula. This study highlights the importance of local context in developing effective educational policies and practices to foster more inclusive and tolerant societies. The findings can serve as a reference for policymakers and educators in designing multicultural education programs that are more responsive to the needs of their respective communities

Abstract

This study discusses how Islam as a comprehensive religion offers guidelines for life that not only regulate spiritual aspects, but also social, economic, and cultural aspects. In facing the changes that continue to occur in life, both at the individual and societal levels, Islam provides basic principles that can be used as a foundation for navigating the challenges of the times. The purpose of this study is to provide insight for Muslims so that they can make Islam a solid guideline in facing all forms of change, both in personal and social aspects of life. The method used in this study is a qualitative method, by using books, magazines, articles and journals related to the research theme to collect data, then codify it, and then describe it in this article. The results of this study indicate that Islam emphasizes the importance of steadfastness to the basic principles contained in the Qur'an and Hadith, which have not changed over time. These principles include justice, compassion, moral integrity, and self-development through knowledge and worship. This understanding is expected to strengthen the spiritual, moral, and social resilience of Muslims in an increasingly complex and global life.
