Abstract

The evolution of modern futsal has transformed the goalkeeper's role from merely defending the goal into becoming a key player in initiating attacking plays. Decision-making ability has become one of the primary factors influencing ball distribution effectiveness and offensive transition success. This study aimed to analyze the attacking decision-making of the Indonesian Women's National Futsal Team goalkeeper during the 2026 ASEAN Women's Futsal Championship. A quantitative descriptive approach was employed using document analysis through systematic observation of official match videos. The sample consisted of four matches played from the group stage to the semifinal against Thailand, Malaysia, Australia, and Vietnam. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, including frequencies and percentages. The results revealed that the effectiveness of ball distribution reached 74%, while goalkeeper playing achieved an effectiveness rate of 80%. The most dominant decision-making action was short ball distribution to teammates, performed 100 times with a 99% success rate, indicating a tactical preference for ball possession and build-up play. In contrast, long throws and volley kicks showed relatively low success rates. Regarding goalkeeper playing, the goalkeeper's involvement in kick-in and play-on situations achieved a 100% success rate, whereas long-range shooting recorded only 38% effectiveness. This study concludes that the Indonesian Women's National Futsal Team goalkeeper has successfully adopted the role of a modern goalkeeper in supporting attacking transitions. However, greater variation in attacking decision-making is still required to improve tactical effectiveness and overall team performance at the international level

Abstract

This study aims to determine: (1) the effectiveness of static balance training in improving passing accuracy of Bassura Muda Futsal School players aged 15-16 years, (2) the effectiveness of dynamic balance training in improving passing accuracy of Bassura Muda Futsal School players aged 15-16 years, and (3) the difference in effectiveness between static balance training and dynamic balance training on passing accuracy of Bassura Muda Futsal School players aged 15-16 years. The research method used was an experiment with a two group pretest-posttest design. The research sample consisted of 30 players divided into two groups, namely the static balance training group and the dynamic balance training group, each consisting of 15 players. The research instrument used was a passing accuracy test (Four Box Pass). Data analysis used the Shapiro-Wilk normality test, Levene's Test homogeneity test, Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test, and Mann-Whitney U Test with a significance level of 0.05. The results of the study showed that: (1) static balance training is effective in improving passing accuracy, evidenced by the Asymp. Sig. value. (2-tailed) of 0.002 < 0.05; (2) dynamic balance training is also effective in improving passing accuracy, as evidenced by the Asymp. Sig. (2 tailed) value of 0.001 < 0.05; and (3) the Mann-Whitney U Test results showed a significance value of 0.069 > 0.05, indicating no significant difference in effectiveness between static balance training and dynamic balance training in improving passing accuracy. Thus, both exercises are equally effective in improving passing accuracy for Bassura Muda Futsal School players aged 15-16 years, but do not statistically show a significant difference in effectiveness

Abstract

This study aimed to examine the effect of the drill training method on improving volleyball smash accuracy among members of the Volleyball Student Activity Unit (UKM) at Abulyatama University. A quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental method was employed using a One Group Pretest–Posttest Design. The study involved all 12 active members of the volleyball club using a total sampling technique. Participants completed a drill-based smash training program consisting of eight training sessions. Volleyball smash accuracy was assessed using the smash accuracy test developed by Nurhasan (2001). Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, the Shapiro–Wilk normality test, and a paired-samples t-test with IBM SPSS Statistics version 26 at a significance level of 0.05. The findings revealed that the mean smash accuracy score increased from 2.67 ± 1.303 in the pretest to 3.92 ± 0.996 in the posttest. The paired-samples t-test indicated a statistically significant difference between the pretest and posttest scores (p = 0.000 < 0.05). These findings demonstrate that the drill training method effectively improves volleyball smash accuracy. Therefore, drill-based training can be recommended as an effective training strategy for enhancing smash performance among university students and volleyball athletes

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the level of basic futsal skills among students participating in the futsal extracurricular program at State Elementary School 04 Jeumpa in the 2025/2026 academic year. A quantitative descriptive design was used. The sample comprised 20 students selected through total sampling, so all extracurricular participants became research subjects. Data were collected using a basic futsal skills test covering passing, dribbling, shooting, and ball control. The data were analyzed descriptively using mean, percentage, frequency, minimum and maximum scores, and standard deviation. The results showed that students’ overall basic futsal skills were in the moderate category, with a mean score of 57.13. In detail, 2 students (10.0%) were categorized as very good, 5 students (25.0%) as good, 9 students (45.0%) as moderate, 3 students (15.0%) as poor, and 1 student (5.0%) as very poor. Each skill component also tended to fall in the moderate category. These findings indicate that students have sufficient basic futsal ability, but their technical performance still needs to be improved through structured, continuous, and age-appropriate training. Therefore, teachers and coaches should prioritize repetitive drills, game-based practice, and regular evaluation to support better mastery of fundamental futsal techniques in extracurricular sessions throughout the school year
