Abstract

This study explores the concept of youthful vitality in the Qur’an by examining its spiritual and health aspects. The research aims to understand how spiritual values and health principles in the Qur’an contribute to human physical vitality and endurance. The method used is a literature review and thematic analysis of Qur’anic verses related to physical and spiritual health. The findings reveal that the Qur’an views youthful vitality not merely as a physical phenomenon but as a result of harmony between a pure heart, strong faith, and divinely recommended healthy lifestyle. Therefore, the concept of youthful vitality in the Qur’an holds a holistic meaning that encompasses the balance between soul and body.

Abstract

The Qur'an, as the greatest miracle that Allah bestowed upon the Prophet Muhammad, serves as a guide for human life. Within the Qur'an, there are verses that are easily understood with just one reading, also known as Muhkam verses, and there are also verses that require several methods to interpret them, and these verses are called Mutashabih. This research falls into the category of library research because it examines and analyzes the Muhkam and Mutashabih verses found in the Qur'an. This research shows: first, Muhkam verses are indeed mentioned as verses whose meaning can be understood in one reading, but this only applies to people who understand Arabic. For people who do not yet understand Arabic, a translation is needed. Second, the educational values that can be taken from the discussion of Muhkam and Mutashabih are religious values, tolerance values, wisdom values, hard work values, and responsibility values.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the role of the deep learning strategy in increasing student activeness in the learning process at MTs Humaira’ Kota Bengkulu. The research was motivated by the low level of student participation in classroom activities, such as asking questions, engaging in discussions, and expressing opinions, which is influenced by the dominant use of lecture-based teaching methods. This study employed a descriptive qualitative method with data collected through participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Data were analyzed using the Miles & Huberman interactive model, consisting of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that the implementation of deep learning covering the stages of exploration, interpretation, decision-making, and reflection significantly enhances students’ activeness. Students become more confident in expressing ideas, more active in asking questions, and more involved in group discussions. Learning also becomes more meaningful through project activities, reflective tasks, and the use of stimulating questions. Challenges such as differences in students’ initial abilities and limited learning facilities can be addressed through scaffolding, the use of simple instructional media, and strengthening the role of teachers as facilitators. This study concludes that the deep learning strategy is effective for fostering student activeness at the MTs level and aligns with the demands of 21st-century learning.

Abstract

This study examines the aggression and behavioral traits of the Kintamani Bali dog, an indigenous Indonesian breed.  Observations and research suggest that their violent behavior primarily stems from a protective impulse towards territory and masters, rather than from unrestrained antagonism.  Kintamani dogs exhibit vigilance, courage, and are well-suited for guarding purposes.  Comprehending their behavior is crucial for effective training and conservation initiatives.  Ultimately, aggressiveness emerges as a beneficial characteristic that enhances the breed's identity and purpose.

Abstract

This study analyzes the influence of Almira Berto's music on listeners' positive mood through comments and interactions on social media, specifically TikTok and Spotify. The method used is qualitative content analysis, collecting comments and interactions from both platforms. Data were analyzed by coding words that indicate a positive mood, such as “happy,” “energetic,” and “relaxed.” The results show that fans’ interactions and comments tend to contain positive words, demonstrating the music’s influence on listeners’ mood. This study contributes to the understanding of digital music psychology and fan engagement on social media.

Abstract

This study aims to enhance the presentation skills of Islamic Economics students in Ushul Fiqh learning through the implementation of systematically designed active-learning strategies. Presentation skills are essential for Islamic Economics students as they relate to the ability to construct arguments, communicate ideas logically, and present information professionally—competencies required in both academic contexts and the professional field. However, preliminary observations indicated that students often faced difficulties in organizing their presentation flow, using appropriate academic language, and connecting Ushul Fiqh concepts with Islamic economics contexts accurately. Responding to these challenges, this research employed a descriptive-qualitative approach that integrated presentation training, simulations, feedback sessions, and the use of standardized rubrics within the learning process. Data were collected through observation, documentation, video recordings of presentations, and student reflections. The findings revealed a significant improvement in students’ presentation structure, clarity of argumentation, mastery of content, media usage, and self-confidence. Students became more capable of explaining qawa'id fiqhiyyah, methods of istinbath, and their relevance to Islamic economic practices in a coherent and convincing manner. The learning approach, which positioned students as active participants, created a more interactive classroom environment and fostered critical thinking skills. Overall, the study concludes that presentation-based learning strategies, when organized through structured stages, are effective in improving both the conceptual understanding of Ushul Fiqh and the communicative competencies of Islamic Economics students.

Abstract

This study examines the implementation of the halaqah method in Qur’anic learning and its correlation with Albert Bandura’s Social Learning Theory. The research addresses how the halaqah model encourages students’ activeness and internalization of Qur’anic reading skills through observation, imitation, and social interaction. Using a qualitative descriptive approach conducted at Madrasah Al-Lailiyyah PPHM Lirboyo, data were obtained through direct observation of daily halaqah sessions held after Maghrib prayer. The study reveals that learning through halaqah fosters social motivation and discipline, supported by peer and teacher feedback as positive reinforcement. The reciprocal relationship among students, the environment, and behavior reflects Bandura’s concept of reciprocal determinism. The findings suggest that the halaqah method effectively integrates cognitive, social, and spiritual dimensions in Qur’anic education, forming a dynamic and continuous learning process.

Abstract

This study examines the concept of Amtsal in the Qur’an as a rhetorical method used to clarify abstract meanings through concrete and relatable analogies. Using a library research approach, this study analyzes various scholarly sources, including journal articles, books, and academic documents, to explore the definitions, classifications, and rhetorical functions of Qur’anic Amtsal. The findings indicate that Amtsal plays a significant role in divine communication, as it bridges human understanding with metaphysical concepts, moral values, and spiritual teachings by presenting vivid symbolic imagery. The three main forms of Amtsal amtsal musyarrahah, amtsal kaminah, and amtsal mursalah demonstrate the Qur’an’s linguistic flexibility in conveying messages with varying levels of clarity and depth. This study concludes that Amtsal serves as an effective linguistic and pedagogical device that enhances comprehension, reflection, and internalization of Qur’anic messages.

Abstract

Capital structure is a strategic financial decision that determines the proportion of debt and equity used to finance a firm’s operations. This decision directly influences the cost of capital, financial risk, and overall firm value. This study aims to analyze the traditional approach to capital structure assessment and to examine its implications for signaling theory within the context of modern capital markets. The research employs a library research method by reviewing relevant scholarly journals, textbooks, and academic publications. The findings indicate that the traditional approach emphasizes the existence of an optimal capital structure capable of minimizing the weighted average cost of capital (WACC), whereas signaling theory views financing decisions as indicators of managerial quality. The integration of both theories highlights that leverage choices can serve as strong signals to investors, thereby affecting market perceptions and ultimately influencing firm value.

Abstract

Teaching materials were an essential component in determining the quality of learning in elementary schools. However, many teachers were not yet able to develop teaching materials independently, which made the learning process rely heavily on textbooks or conventional resources. This study aimed to examine the application of the Rowntree development model as an approach to developing teaching materials in elementary schools. The research method used was a literature study, with data analyzed descriptively based on five relevant articles published between 2020-2025. The results show that teaching materials developed through the Rowntree model are valid, practical, effective, and capable of improving student learning outcomes. The model is also flexible for both printed and digital forms of materials. Therefore, the Rowntree model serves as a systematic approach for teachers to design innovative, engaging, and student-centered teaching materials in elementary schools.
