Abstract

Self-medication is the use of drugs on one’s own to treat minor health issues without needing a doctor’s prescription. This practice is often done by teenagers and is influenced by their level of knowledge as well as access to health information. This study aims to examine the relationship between knowledge levels and self-medication practices among teenagers, based on previously published research. The method used is a literature review by searching for articles through several databases such as Google Scholar, ScienceDirect, and other health journal portals. The search was done using keywords like self-medication, knowledge level, self-medication behavior, teenagers, self-medication, knowledge, and adolescent. The selected articles are publications from 2016 to 2026, available in full-text format, and meet the specified inclusion criteria. Out of the 15 articles found, 11 met the criteria for analysis. The results show that most teenagers have fairly good knowledge, but there are still some misunderstandings about dosage, side effects, and how to use antibiotics. Most studies indicate that the higher someone's level of knowledge, the better their behavior is when it comes to self-medication. Additionally, health education has been shown to help improve understanding and encourage smarter self-treatment practices. It can be concluded that knowledge plays an important role in shaping safe self-medication behavior among teenagers.

Abstract

Adolescents, particularly twelfth-grade senior high school students, are vulnerable to academic stress due to increasing academic demands, assignment completion, examination preparation, and planning for higher education and future careers after graduation. Prolonged academic stress may contribute to the development of *school burnout* and changes in eating behavior, such as *emotional eating. Objective: To analyze the relationship between academic stress and school burnout as well as emotional eating among twelfth-grade students at SMA Negeri 1 Mojolaban. Methods: This study employed a quantitative approach using a cross-sectional correlational design. A total of 64 twelfth-grade science students were selected through proportionate stratified random sampling. Data were collected using the *Educational Stress Scale for Adolescents (ESSA), the **School Burnout Inventory (SBI), and the **Dutch Eating Behavior Questionnaire (DEBQ). Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, Spearman's rho correlation test, and ordinal logistic regression. Results: Most respondents experienced moderate levels of academic stress (78.1%), school burnout (50.0%), and emotional eating (48.4%). A statistically significant positive correlation of moderate strength was found between academic stress and school burnout (r = 0.466; p = 0.001), whereas no significant relationship was found between academic stress and emotional eating (p = 0.247). Ordinal logistic regression analysis indicated that academic stress was a significant predictor of school burnout, explaining 23.8% of its variance. Findings: Increased academic stress contributed to a higher risk of school burnout but was not directly associated with emotional eating. Implications: These findings highlight the importance of the collaborative roles of nurses, teachers, and schools in developing mental health promotion programs, early identification of academic stress, and stress management interventions to prevent school burnout and promote adolescents' psychological well-being in the school setting.

Abstract

Electronic Medical Records (EMR) represent a form of digital transformation in the healthcare sector that aims to improve efficiency, security, accuracy, and service quality, particularly in patient registration, healthcare service delivery, data management, and medical record storage processes. This study aims to comprehensively examine the implementation of EMR at Klinik Mutiara Delima Sawoo Ponorogo, focusing on the aspects of registration, service provision, data management, and storage systems. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with a case study approach. Data were collected through observation and in-depth interviews with relevant informants involved in the EMR implementation process. The results of the study indicate that EMR has been implemented in most healthcare service processes, providing support for more effective and organized medical record management. However, several components of implementation remain suboptimal, including the unavailability of electronic signature authentication facilities and the continued use of manual procedures for BPJS (national health insurance) claim processing. These limitations affect the optimization of EMR utilization in supporting integrated healthcare services. Therefore, improvements in technological infrastructure, system development, and continuous training for healthcare staff are needed to ensure the successful and comprehensive implementation of EMR. Strengthening these aspects is expected to enhance the effectiveness, security, and sustainability of digital healthcare services.

Abstract

Digital transformation in healthcare has encouraged the adoption of innovations, including the Mobile JKN application, which is designed to improve service efficiency and patient satisfaction during registration at healthcare facilities. This study aimed to analyze the relationship between Mobile JKN application use and patient satisfaction, identify factors influencing its utilization, and examine barriers encountered at Puskesmas Kauman Baru, Ponorogo Regency. A descriptive quantitative design was applied involving 50 respondents selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected using questionnaires, observations, and interviews, then analyzed descriptively and through the Spearman correlation test with SPSS software. The findings showed a significant relationship between the use of the Mobile JKN application and patient satisfaction, with a correlation coefficient of ρ = 0.318 and a significance value of p = 0.025. Mobile JKN use contributed positively to patient satisfaction because it provided easier access and greater time efficiency. This benefit was supported by the predominance of respondents aged 20–40 years, who were generally familiar with digital technology. Nevertheless, several barriers remained, including difficulties experienced by elderly users, technical problems, and limited internet network access. Therefore, education and adequate technical assistance are necessary to optimize Mobile JKN implementation and ensure equitable use across all age groups.

Abstract

Valentina Febrianti, 2025, “literature review: The Effect of Atraumatic Care on Children's Anxiety During Hospitalization.” Advisor: Dwi Nurjayanti S.ST., M.Kes. Undergraduate Program in Nursing, Buana Husada Health Sciences College, Ponorogo.Children who undergo hospitalization often experience psychological impacts, such as anxiety, fear, sadness, and anger. Anxiety experienced by children while in the hospital can hinder the treatment process and make children uncooperative. Atraumatic care is a nursing approach that aims to minimize physical and psychological trauma in children during hospitalization. This study aims to determine the effect of atraumatic care in reducing anxiety in children who are hospitalized through a literature review study. This study uses a literature review method by analyzing 30 articles published in 2020 to 2024, both from national and international journals. The results of the study showed that the influence of atraumatic care, such as play therapy, the use of audiovisual media, parental involvement in care, and modification of the hospital environment to be child-friendly, were proven to be effective in reducing anxiety levels in children undergoing hospitalization. Most of the articles reviewed showed a significant decrease in children's anxiety levels after being given atraumatic care intervention. From the results of this literature review, it can be concluded that the influence of atraumatic care is very important and effective in helping to reduce anxiety in children during hospitalization. Therefore, the implementation of atraumatic care is expected to be part of the standard of child nursing services in hospitals in order to create a comfortable, child-friendly, and minimally traumatic environment.
