Abstract

work environment and internal communication are contributing factors to the achievement of high employee job satisfaction. This study aims to determine whether there is influence between internal communications and work environment on job satisfaction of employees. Type of research is explanatory research that describes the relationship between the variables of the study. Population are all employees of PT. Kambing Rejeki Agung Semarang , amounting to 61 people. Number of samples in this study amounted to 61 people.. Based on the results of tests with SPSS between work environment (X1) on employee job satisfaction (Y), obtained by counting the number of t 7,253 > 1.670 t-table that has a positive effect (to the right), so using one-tail hypothesis; means H0 rejected,so that the partial (individual) there is a significant and positive influence of work environment (X1) on employee job satisfaction (Y). Test results with SPSS between internal communication (X2) of the employee satisfaction (Y), obtained by counting the number of t 22,387 > 1.670 t-table which has a positive effect (to the right), so using one-tail hypothesis; means H0 rejected, so partial (people) are significantly and positively influence the work environment (X2) for employee job satisfaction (Y). While the results of tests with SPSS between work environment (X1) and internal communication (X2) on job satisfaction of employees (Y), obtained by counting the number of F-28.852> F-table 3.13 that has a positive effect (to the right), so using hepotesa one tail

Abstract

In order to achieve company goals better, Abdul's Group. Attributes can determine which ones are appropriate or not appropriate to the needs and desires konsumen.Tipe used explanatory research study with a sample size of 100 respondents was taken using a non probablity sampling with accidental sampling technique. Measurement scale with Likert scale. Data collection by interview using a questionnaire. Analysis of data using simple linear regression and multiple regression test with SPSS 16.0. While testing the hypothesis using the t test, f test, correlation coefficient, and the coefficient of determination. The results showed that prices have an influence on purchasing decisions with 0.618 correlation coefficient and the coefficient of determination of 38.2%, the packaging has an influence on purchasing decisions with 0.533 correlation coefficient and the coefficient of determination 28.4%, the service has an influence on purchasing decisions with a correlation coefficient of 0.823 67.7% and the coefficient of determination, the product quality has an influence on purchasing decisions with a correlation coefficient of 0.644 and a coefficient of determination of 41.5%, and the size has an influence on purchasing decisions with a correlation coefficient of 0.755 and a coefficient of determination of 56.9%, price, packaging , service, product quality, and size together have an influence on purchasing decisions by the equation Y = 1.584 + 0.928 + 4.328 X1 + 3.980 X2 + 1.278 X3 + 1.277 X4 X5. This shows that Abdul's Group has a good service, by having good communication between employees and customers, ketramapilan good The results menunujukan Abdul's Group has a good service in terms of employees' communication skills with customers and employees when describing the product, and has klemahan in terms of packaging, particularly on the security package. Conclusion The study is the product attributes affect purchase decisions. But there are still consumers who stated that the application of pricing, packaging, service, product quality, and size is not good. Advice for Abdul's Group is to maintain the value of the service, and the best Abdul's Group uses packing materials that meet the safety standards for food packaging.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of the promotion, service quality and price on purchase decisions  of Yamaha Jupiter All variant at  Mataram Sakti  , Soegiyopranoto Branch Semarang. This study used  explanatory research. Primary data obtained from respondents using data collection instruments such as questionnaires and secondary data gained from the site in the form of a percentage of sales of Yamaha motorcycles with other motorcycle brands. The population of this research is  consumers who purchase  Yamaha Jupiter All Variant in Yamaha Mataram Sakti Soegiyopranoto  branch, Semarang at the years of 2009-2011 with a sample of 92 respondents from 1179 population were using purposive sampling technique. Analysis of the data used in this study is the validity and reliability, Cross Tabulation Analysis (Crosstab), Coefficient of Correlation, Simple Linear Regression, Multiple Linear Regression, Coefficient of Determination, t-test and F Test. Y = 0.018 + 0.002 X1 + 0.263 X2 + 0.172 X3. The analysis showed variable of promotion, service quality, price, has a positive and significant impact on the purchase decision variables. Hypothesis that tested using t-test showed that the three independent variables studied proved to significantly affect the dependent variable purchase decision. Through the T test can be seen that the variable promotion, service quality and price significantly effect together in a purchase decision. degree of closeness of the relationship between the variables promotion, service quality, and price of the purchase decision variable is promotion 0,408 , service quality 0,731 , Price 0,508 .Through the F test can be seen that the variable promotion, service quality and price significantly effect together in a purchase decision. degree of closeness of the relationship between the variables promotion, service quality, and price of the purchase decision variable is equal to 0.745, so it can be concluded that the strength of association (correlation) between variables linear promotion, service quality, and price of the purchase decision variables is strong. The company should give some promotion variations and increase the performance of the service officer in the quickness ability of giving service and decrease the number of fault that did by the company.

Abstract

PT. Nyonya Meneer Semarang is a company engaged in the production of herbal medicine. Purchases of raw materials performed each year has increased, it is influenced by the increase in market demand and the difference between the purchase of raw materials that have been planned and the actual realization of the need. With a production capacity of more banyyak, budget forecasting is necessary to purchase raw materials with a small degree of inconsistency. So it can reduce the cost of investment in materials, minimize production costs and ultimately company profits can be optimized. The purpose of this study was to determine the determination of the optimal raw material inventory by EOQ. Where the ledge first thing to do is to determine the need for raw materials for 5 (five) years, then the budget budgeting buying raw turmeric which includes the number of needs, beginning inventory and ending inventory so as to know the amount of the purchase of raw materials each year. To determine the need for raw materials in 2012 as a supporting factor is the historical data, data distribution, extensive business and competitors. Therefore used a method of forecasting the trend analysis covering semi average method, least square method, the method and the method of quadratic trend eksponentisial trend. Of the four forecasting methods are then conducted further analysis by selecting the most appropriate method paramalan to search the very low standard deviation, which means having a close measure of the accuracy of  the real situation.

Abstract

This research was conducted to determine the effect of brand image, product quality and after-sales service on purchase decisions Honda Supra X 125 at PT Tunggul Sakti Sejahtera. This study used an explanatory approach to research on 100 respondents. Sampling is done by accidental sampling technique. The data obtained were analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively. Determination test results showed that 32.7% of decision variables can be explained by the variable purchase brand image, 60.5% purchase decision variables can be explained by the variable quality of the product, 40.8% purchase decision variables can be explained by variable after-sales service. 61.2% purchase decision variables can be explained by the brand image, product quality and after-sales service. The results of hypothesis testing (t test) that brand image has a positive and significant impact on purchasing decisions, The quality of the product has a positive and significant impact on purchasing decisions. Furthermore, after-sales service has a positive and significant impact on purchasing decisions. Hypothesis test (F test) the brand image, product quality and after-sales services together - each has a positive influence and significant impact on purchasing decisions. So that concluded the three variables, both individually and collectively - each has a positive and significant impact on the purchase decision of Honda Supra X 125 at PT Tunggul Sakti Sejahtera Semarang.

Abstract

Consumer purchasing behavior of a product is influenced by many factors. Each individual has different wish and desires. Product quality is a most factor to the purchasing decision, besides that there are many factors that influence to the purchasing behavior. The purpose at this research is to determine how much the influence of the grand image, product quality, price and promotion of the product TelkomFlexi card to the purchasing decision and also knowing variables that the most dominant influence to the purchasing decision of TelkomFlexi card product at Kudus area. The type of research that used is the type of explanatory research. A sample of 100 respondent was taken that consumers who use TelkomFlexi starter pack. Sampling with purposive techniques. Data analysis techniques using linear regression analysis and SPSS 16.0. Based on the results of the research, it can be concluded that (a) brand image has positive and significant impact on purchasing decision of TelkomFlexi starter pack, (b) there are positive impact and significant on quality variable of product, (c) there are positive impact and significant on price variable, (d) there are positive impact and significant on promotion variable to the purchasing decision of TelkomFlexi starter pack. The most impact variable is promotion variable. Hipotesis test show that there are impact of grand image, product quality, price and promotion to the purchasing decision of TelkomFlexi starter pack. Determination coefisien for variable grand image (X1), product quality (X2), price (X3), and promotion (X4) give 79,2% for purchasing decision at PT. TelkomFlexi and 20,8% influenced by another factors. The suggestion of this research is PT. TelkomFlexi better to increase grand image so that the consumer more knowing the product, low price, keep good quality and defend of product so that the consumers always interest to the products.

Abstract

Developments in the world of telecommunications is also accompanied by the competition among telecommunication companies. One of the drivers of loyalty is customer satisfaction factors, which support customers stay using IM3. Loyalty is influenced by many factors including quality, image, and brand. The research was conducted on IM3 prepaid card user at the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences University of Diponegoro. A decline in sales, as well as consumer unloyalty IM3 prepaid card. This study aimed to determine the effect of product quality, image and brand to the customer loyalty through satisfaction. The hypothesis stated that the quality (X1),image (X2) and brand (X3) have significant influence to the customer loyalty (Y) through satisfaction (Z). This type of research is explanatory research. The data used in this study is primary data obtained using questionnaires and library research. The population in this study were all students of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences with a sample of 100 respondents using accidental sampling technique. Data analysis techniques used simple linear regression and path analysis using SPSS 16 for windows. Based on the analysis it can be concluded that there is a positive and significant influence between product quality to satisfaction, there is a positive and significant influence between the image to satisfaction, there is a positive and significant influence between brand to the satisfaction, there is a positive and significant influence between product quality, brand and image to satisfaction, there is a positive and significant  influence between product quality to loyalty, there is a positive and significant influence between image to loyalty, there is a positive and significant influence between brand to loyalty, there is a positive and significant influence between the quality of the product, image and brand to loyalty, there is the significant influence of satisfaction to loyalty. We suggest is the company must improve the quality of IM3, especially in terms of access to internet services, add and improve the network so that customers do not feel disturbed, introduce more card advantage that people get to know IM3 products.

Abstract

Development needs of an increasingly complex underwriting risk and market competition sharpened cause must be competitive Bumiputera 1912 to show its superiority and grab the attention of the policyholder. People who will make a decision in choosing Bumiputera insurance will consider various things before buying. Consideration, among others, influenced by the quality of service, products, and prices are set by the company. This study to determine the problems that arises is whether there is influence between quality of service, products and prices on the decision to use insurance services. This type of research is explanatory research with a sample of 100 respondents taken by systematic sampling technique. The data were analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively using validity, reliability, cross tables, simple linear regression, multiple linear regression, t test and F test and the coefficient of determination with SPSS ver 17.0. Given the simple linear regression equation between quality of service and service usage decision is Y = 4.404 + 0.169 X1. Linear regression equation between products with the decision to use services is Y = 8.009 + 0.465 X2. Linear regression equations between price and service usage decisions is Y = 11.709 + 0.339 X3. Based on these equations can be seen that there is a partial positive influence between each variable X to variable Y. Multiple regression analysis is Y = 1.124 + 0.117 X1 + 0.255 X2 + 0.213 X3 so it can be seen that the variable X simultaneously positive effect on the variable Y, and which have the greatest effect is the variable quality of service. Hypothesis testing shows that the variable quality of service, products and prices, affect the decision to use services. This is demonstrated by obtaining t count variable service has 4.473 t count, product 4.590, 3.289 price variable. As for the F test obtained F count of 12.262. And all of these variables were tested at a significance level of 5%. The hypothesis is accepted. Conclusions and suggestions are obtained respondents felt that the quality of care in good categories, products in good categories, and prices in the category of less affordable for a minority of respondents. Companies should consider the price (insurance premiums) to become more affordable again by prospective policyholders in general, the economically capable alsomiddle and lower economic classes to enjoy the protection of an insurance.

Abstract

The research was conducted to determine the influence of leadership and organizational climate for the employee’s performance in PT Telkom Indonesia Tbk Semarang. This type of research is explanatory with the techniques of data collection through questionnaire. The sampling technique used proportional random sampling, the sample of 103 peoples who are the employee PT Telkom Indonesia Tbk Semarang. The method of analysis used in this study is Quantitative data analysis. The results of this study indicate that leadership have a positive and significant impact on employee performance in the amount of 37%.. Organizational climate is also positive and significant influence on employee performance . in the amount of 47,4%%. Leadership and organizational climate and significant positive effect on employee performance and organizational climate value significant positive effect on employee performance in the amount of 74,8%. The conclusion of this study is leadership, organizational climate on PT Telkom Indonesia Tbk Semarang is good. The test results showed that with the SPSS leadership and organizational climate have a significant impact on employee performance either simultaneously or partially.

Abstract

Development of service industries, especially the hospitality industry today is one business that began in great demand by investors in Indonesia. With the improving economic growth and make the hotel business is not only to meet the accommodation needs of tourists, but also used as a lobby, parties, weddings, seminars and accommodation both business and government activities. For any guests or customer service quality factor, and price become the benchmark in customer satisfaction. The existence of good service, and the appropriate price will have an impact on customer satisfaction made​​. Good customer satisfaction will impact on hotel room occupancy rate increased. This study aimed to determine how much influence the service quality, and price to customer satisfaction on Hotel Pandanaran Semarang either partially or simultaneously. This type of study is explanatory research. Data collecting technique using questionnaire distributed to 100 respondents as service users of Hotel Pandanaran Semarang. Sampling technique using purposieve sampling. Data analysis technique using linear regression analysis. The research suggests that company should improvement of service quality in terms of the skills of the employee in completing the work by conducting training. In terms of price to be adjusted between room rates, room types and amenities. In terms of customer satisfaction should be augmented security personnel to enhance the sense of security and comfortincrease
