Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there is influence between leadership, compensation on the performance through enhancing work discipline. Population of this research is the production workers of Gentong Gotri Semarang Co., Ltd. and the researchers took 76 workers as respondents. This type of research is explanatory research with primary data collection through questionnaires from using simple random sampling technique. Analysis techniques using validity, reliability test, simple linear regression, multiple linear regression, t test, and F test with SPSS version 15. The calculation results of multiple linear regression can be shown by the equation Y = 4,432 + 0,600X1 + 0,105X2 – 0,095Y1. Known that jointly leadership, compensation and work discipline effect on performance. Partially, the influence of leadership on performance of 64,7%, amounting to 29,4% compensation and work discipline of 4,2%. Simultaneously, the influence of the leadership and compensation for occupational performance through increased discipline at 71,9%. To improve the performance of their workers, companies should pay attention to the amount of compensation given mainly allowances and incentives, workers will socialize the importance of adherence to the rules. In solving problems that arise leader must also include the workers, as well as job training and job evaluation periodically.

Abstract

Purchasing of stocks is one of the alternate investation that is interesting for the investors, because there are two returns that will be expected. The first is dividend,  Second is Capital Gains. The benefit ability of high companies can also increase the stock prices. Ratio - the ratio of liquidity such as Current Ratio (CR), profitability such as Return on Investment (ROI) and Return on Equity (ROE), and the ratio of activities such as Total Asset Turnover (TATO) can affect the company's stock price.This research aims to determine the effect of the ratio of  Current Ratio (CR), Return on Investment (ROI), Return on Equity (ROE) and Total Asset Turnover (TATO) on Stock Prices. Population as well as the sample in this research is a state-owned company financial / BUMN data listed in the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2010 and 2012 and it is obtained 13 state-owned companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Data collection in this research is done by downloading the Annual Report the companies through the website www.idx.co.id . In the data analysis uses the classical assumption test, simple linear regression and multiple regression test with SPSS program.The results show variable Current Ratio (CR) has an influence on the stock price of 0.220,but not significant. Variable Return on Investment (ROI) has an influence on the stock price of 0.360, but not significant. Variable Return on Equity (ROE) have an influence on the stock price of 0.655. Variable Total Asset Turnover (TATO) has an influence on the stock price of 0,439. Variable Current Ratio (CR), Return on Investment (ROI), Return on Equity (ROE) and Total Asset Turnover (TATO) have a positive influence simultaneously to the stock prices that is equal to 77,6%. This suggests that all of Current Ratio (CR), Return on Investment (ROI), Return on Equity (ROE) and Total Asset Turnover (TATO) 2010-2012 State Owned Company can affect the stock prices.

Abstract

One source of funds obtained by the company is derived from the sale of shares. Stock price changes up or down time by time, and it is influenced by many factors. This research was conducted to examine the effect of Earning Per Share (EPS), Price Earning Ratio (PER), Debt To Equity Ratio (DER), Return on Equity (ROE) on stock price in the Mining Sector Listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in the period 2010-2012.The data used in this research is a secondary data obtained from Indonesia Stock Exchange. The analysis technique using linear regression, while hypothesis testing using t-test and test-F at a significance level of 5%. The classical assumptions test used in this reasearch include normality, multicolinearity, heteroscedasticity and autocorrelation test.Based on the research result that the Earning Per Share (EPS), Price Earning Ratio (PER), and Return On Equity (ROE) and a significant positive effect on Stock Price. Meanwhile, Debt To Equity Ratio (DER) has negative affect on the stock price. Simoultaneously there is a significant effect between Earning Per Share, Price Earning Ratio, Debt To Equity Ratio, dan Return On Equity to the Stock Price.For investors who want to invest stocks, should pay attention to the level of Earning Per Share too, as in this research say that Earning Per Share provides the most powerful influence on Stock Price.

Abstract

NEW ATLAS GROUP is one of company that is concern in providing taxi transportation services inSemarang. The research itself aims to determine of the influence of Service Quality (X1), Product Quality (X2),Customer Satisfaction (Z) of the Customer Loyalty (Y) New Atlas Taxi’s. This type of research used is explanatoryresearch, data collection methods using an oral interview and a data collection tool using a questionnaire with asample of 100 respondents New Atlas Taxi users of transport services via nonprobability sampling technique byusing purposive sampling method (sampling technique based on certain conditions). The analysis technique uses testvalidity, test reliability, simple linear regression, multiple linear regression, t test and F test with SPSS 20 tool.From the data analysis it can be concluded that amounted to 61.8% customer satisfaction variables can beexplained by service quality variable and 57.1% explained by product quality variable. 15.2% customer loyaltyvariable can be explained by service quality variable and 15.4% explained by the variable quality product quality.Customer satisfaction being a mediator to customer loyalty due to the indirect effect by 26.7% of the service qualityvariable and product quality variables. The suggestion in this research is the company management is necessary togive directions the driver to pay more attention to the quickness and timeliness of delivering passengers to theirdestination, more discipline the taxi driver in order to obey the standard service procedure that has beenestablished, providing complaint and suggestion boxes for each passenger in the taxi fleet.

Abstract

The existence and success of an organization in achieving its objectives , can not be separated from the human resource factor . Human resources has a very important role in a variety of sectors , because the human resource is the key factor to mobilize other resources that exist in the company Once the importance of the role of human resources resulted in an organization should allocate some substantial funds for the improvement of human resources . To realize the desired goal , then one of them is to improve the performance of human resources in an optimal             This study aims to analyze the influence of organizational culture and organizational commitment to employee performance on the job satisfaction with mediation PT . BPR Setia Abadi Carib Semarang . The population in this study were all employees of the BPR Setia Abadi Carib Semarang totaling 73 people , so this is a research study census . The analytical tool used in this study is a simple regression , multiple linear regression and path analysis .             Based on the results of the analysis show the organizational culture , organizational commitment and job satisfaction has an influence on employee performance . Judging from the calculation of the coefficient of determination indicates that organizational culture , organizational commitment , job satisfaction variables were able to explain 78.8 % of the employee 's performance . where the coefficient of determination organizational culture has an influence of 70.1 % . 40.9 % of organizational commitment , and job satisfaction was 66.4 % , against the performance of employees . This shows that organizational culture has a greater impact and has a strong degree of closeness of relationship to the performance of employees . Based on the results of the data analysis we can conclude the influence of organizational culture , organizational commitment to employee performance on the job satisfaction with mediation PT BPR Setia Abadi Karib Semarang .              Advice can be given in this study is to enhance and improve the commitment and job satisfaction can be done by giving priority attention to the work , provide rewards to employees in the form of direct flattery of superiors sehinngga employees will be proud of the job that can spur employees to work more optimal .

Abstract

Human resource is one resource that has a very important role in a variety of sectors , because human resources is a factor to mobilize other resources . Human resources need special attention in handling from its management to improve employee performance. This study aims to determine whether there is influence between Transactional Leadership (X1), Cultural Organization (X2) on employee performance (Y2) Through the Work Motivation (Y1). The population of this study were 70 employees as respondent. Likert scale was used as measurement scale. Linear regression and path analysis were used in the data analysis with SPSS 20.00. The results of partially  data processing shows that each Transactional Leadership, Organizational Culture, and Work Motivation influence the performance of employees in PT. Pura Nusapersada unit PM 8 Kudus. The result of path analysis that work motivation as a mediator "boosters" to employee performance due to the indirect effect of 0.383 on the variable of organizational culture. Based on these results, the management of PT. Pura Nusapersada need to consider the application of Transactional Leadership and Organizational Culture as a form of work motivation to improve employee performance. In terms of leadership, a leader must give attention to employees to improve employee performance.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of customer value on customer retention through customer satisfaction who use Smartfren data services on student majoring in Business Administration, University of Diponegoro class of 2009 to 2012. This type of research is explanatory research, by using a survey method of data collection tools such as questionnaires. The number of respondents were 63 persons obtained by sensus. Tests using the research instrument validity and reliability test, whereas data analysis techniques used simple linear regression, t-test, and path analysis with SPSS 16.0 tools. These results indicate that the effect given by the variable customer value (X1) and satisfaction variables (Y1) to variable customer retention (Y2) respectively - amounted to 26.2 % and 23.6 %. Results of simple linear regression between variables showed a positive regression coefficient, this means the higher the customer value and satisfaction, it will also result in higher customer retention. Advice can be given that the company needs to maintain customer satisfaction through increased customer value with continuous improvement efforts on the quality of data service connectivity, expansion of network coverage, improved service standards either directly or indirectly (via SMS, call center, or the official site). This effort is done so that consumers feel satisfied, and proud of the product, especially Smartfren data services, so that consumers do not switch to another data service provider, and is willing to give a positive recommendation.

Abstract

Developmental needs of consumers who increasingly complex and competitive market led to a sharp decline Tolak Angin candy should be able to compete to demonstrate its product superiority and seize the attention of consumers. consumers who will make a decision in choosing to consider various things before buying. Consideration, among others, influenced by the quality of the product, pricing, and promotions are determined by the company. Formulation of the problem in this paper is the sales during 2007 to 2012 has fluctuated. The type of research uses explanatory research approach with the method of data collection using interview and data collections devices using a questionnaire with a sample of 100 respondents in village Tembalang Semarang using purposive sampling method (sampling technique is based on certain conditions). Analysis technique used validity, reliability testing, simple linear regression, multiple linear resgression, t test, and F test with the aid of SPSS 20.0. Based on a statistical calculation with linear regression analysis can be shown by the regression equation Y = 10,521 + 0,169 X1 + 0,072 X2 + 0,193 X3 from the regression equation is known that the product quality, pricing, and promotion have a positive impact on purchasing decisions. Results of calculation of the coefficient of determination 0,276 magnitude. This suggests that product quality, pricing, and promotion can explain purchasing decision by 27,6%. While the remaining 72,4% is explained by other variable that are not observed. Based on the data analysis we can conclude the existence of a positive effect of product quality, pricing, and promotion on purchasing decisions have a strong level of closeness of relationship this means that if the product quality, pricing, and promotion will lead to higher purchasing decisions.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of organizational culture variables and physical work environment on employee performance PDAM Kabupaten Kudus . This type of research is explanatory research . In the study population there were 109 permanent employees and all PDAM Kabupaten Kudus were sampled by means of sampling or census saturated . Data were collected through questionnaires . Measurement scale using a Likertscale . Data analysis method used is correlation , simple and multiple linear regression with SPSS 20.0The study concluded that : ( a) organizational culture at PDAM Kabupaten Kudus strong ,as well as the physical work environment on PDAM Kabupaten Kudus Well ; ( b ) The effect of organizational culture on employee performance is strong at 0.805 ; influence of the physical work environment on employee performance is strong at 0.857 (d ) The results stimulatory or jointly demonstrate the organization's culture and physical work environment has a strong influence of 0.895 . Physical work environment variables have a greater influence than the culture of the organization.

Abstract

Instant noodles is a product that is preferred by consumers in the world because of practicality. It is therefore necessary for the company to analyze consumer behavior to determine the product purchase patterns.This research was aimed determine the influence quality of products, brand image, and sales promotion on consumer purchasing decisions of product Mie Sedaap in Kecamatan Tembalang. Population of this research are the consumers who buy and consume the product in the Mie Sedaap Kecamatan Tembalang. Total sample of 100 respondent by using multi stage sampling. The measurement scale using Likert. The data analysis using simple linear regression.Results of this study concluded that the quality of products, brand image and sales promotion have an influence on purchasing decisions. Products quality, brand image and sales promotion variables were able to explain 76.3% of purchasing decisions which have a significant influence on of products quality as big as 59.5%, brand image as big as 73.8%  and sales promotion as big as 48.7%. Product quality, brand image, and sales promotion are concurrent significant influence on purchasing decisions Mie Sedaap in Kecamatan Tembalang.
