Abstract

The development today’s business world requires organizations to constanly open to the changing business environment by taking into account the quality of human resources to improve employee performance. Factors can be used to improve the performance of the employee one of them is good leadership and the ideal and condusive work environment. PT. Telkom Indonesia is currenly undergoing a transformation that changes the organization’s leadership structure into decentralization and doing development, both infrastructure and human development. However, the change is not in accordance with the company’s expectation because there are employees with low performance.The purpose of this research was to determine the effect of leadership and work environment on the performance employees of PT. Telkom Indonesia Semarang. This type of research is explanatory research, with data collection through interviews and observation. The sampling technique used purposive sampling with a sample of 74 respondents employees of PT. Telkom Indonesia Semarang. Testing techniques to determine the accuracy and reliability of the item questionnaire as a research  instrument using validity and reliability test. Analysis technique using cross tabulation, correlation coefficient, simple and multiple regression analysis, coefficient of determination, and a significance test ( t test and F test).             Results and discussion of this research show that in partial leadership has a positive impact on employee performance supported by contributions from the coefficient of determination 6,4%. While the work environment has a greater positive impact on employee performance supported by contributions from the coefficient of determination  16%.            Based on the result of the research it is suggested, the leadership to set a good example in the work, routine maintenance and equipment room should also be made to support employees in their work, as well as the necessary training leadership with experiental learning (seminars, study the competition games, contemplation) to develop creativity.

Abstract

This research aims to know the influence of  the compensation and work motivation toward turnover intention through work stress of employee’s of PT. Bank Tabungan Negara branch office semarang. This type of research is explanatory, to explain the causal relationship between the compensation and work motivation toward turnover intention. Population ini this research is PT. Bank Tabungan Negara branch office semarang permanent employee’s. The number of samples in this study amounted to 91 people used by census sampling’method. Data collection methods used is literature studies and questionnaires. The data obtained were analyzed using a test of validity, reliability, simple linear regression and multiple linear regression. While hypothesis testing using t-test, F test and path analysis. The results showed that compensation and  work motivation affects turnover intention. Based on the path analysis, its show that direct effect of compensation toward turnover intention is 0,451. Meanwhile, the impact of compensation toward turnover intention through work stress is 0,518. Its show that the impact of compensation towardbturnover intention is higher if through work stress. In the other side, the  direct effect of  work motivation toward turnover intention is -0,199. Menawhile, the impact of work motivation toward turnover intention through work stress is -0,517.  Its show that the impact of work mtoviation toward turnover intention is higher if through work stress. Conclusion the study show compensation, work motivation and work stress partially and simultaneously affect turnover intention. Firms need to review standards and employment targets , reviewing the reward and punishment system , improving employee discipline and working relationships both vertically and horizontally and create a working environment that is conducive to both physical and non-physical.

Abstract

The research was motivated by the increasing of competition among the competitors flight services company. Sriwijaya Airlines company was experiencing decline sales 27,05% in 2013. In this case, the company had to increase the service quality and trust to the decision of utilizing of the Sriwijaya Air flight company service.This research aims to know the service quality effect which is consists of five dimensions of service quality they are reliability, responsiveness, assurance, empathy, tangible; and trust to the decision of utilizing the Sriwijaya Air flight company service. The hypothesis is there was service quality effect and trust to the decision of utilizing the Sriwijaya Air flight company service. The type of this research is an explanatory research, the sample collecting technique is purposive sampling technique by 100 samples as the respondents. This research used linear regression which is supported by SPSS for Windows as the analysis method.The results of statistical research shows that the quality of service and trust variables have a positive influence to the decision of utilizing the Sriwijaya Air flight company service. Consumer perceptions of service quality Srwijaya Air quite good and the confidence level is high so that relatively strong consumption decisions. It can be concluded that the quality of service and trust affect the decision Sriwijaya Air service usage.Based on the results of the research, the researchers suggested that the company improve the service quality, increase flight service, compensation for damage to goods and increase consumer confidence like improve the consistency of the performance of the officer so that customers do not switch to a competitor and still survive in the competition at this time.

Abstract

This research is motivated the development of freight forwarder in Indonesia are more advanced and encouraging service companies to further improve the quality of service. In particular, this study discusses the PT.JNE. PT.JNE sales from year to year fluctuations. If this condition is not addressed, then PT.JNE will not compete with other service companies in Indonesia.The purpose of research to determine the effect of brand trust and quality of service to the decision to use. Type of explanatory research, data collection through interviews with questionnaires, observation, and literature study. The sampling technique accidental sampling and purposive sampling. Sample of 100 people. Quantitative analysis techniques. Quantitative analysis using validity, reliability test, correlation coefficient, simple and multiple regression analysis, the coefficient of determination, cross tabulation, as well as the significance test (t test and F test).Results and discussion showed relatively good brand trust but are still classified as not good enough , brand trust has a considerable influence on the decision to use ( 12.9 percent ) and positive influence on the decision of the use of ( 0.255 ) . Classified service quality is not good enough but still quite good , service quality has a considerable influence on the decision of the use of ( 22 percent ) and a positive influence on the decision of the use of ( 0.267 ) . While the decision to use quite enough , but still quite a lot to be in the category of rare and often . Brand trust and service quality has a strong influence on the decision of the use of ( 26.2 percent ) . In conclusion Brand Trust significantly positive effect on the decision to use. Quality of service is significantly positive effect on the decision to use. Brand Trust and Quality of care significantly positive effect on the decision to use. Suggested PT. JNE should immediately conduct an increase in the intensity of promotion and advertising are more massive, renovate facilities and completeness of facilities and infrastructure, and improving managerial ability of employees to increase brand trust and quality of service that the company JNE can continue to survive in the midst of intense competition it is today.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the increasingly strict business world, accompanied by the times that requires every manufacturer to be able to improve the performance of each employee. One of the products that can be affected by the times are herbs. Herbal products become one of the favorite alternative medicine in Indonesian society given the herbal raw material and has become an entity of hereditary tradition. However, in the period 2010-2013 year results that employee performance production departement of PT. Njonja Meneer Semarang fluctuated. If this is not addressed then feared PT. Njonja Meneer Semarang can not meet the needs of the market and the popularity of herbal medicine will be replaced by other manufacturers.            The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of motivation, transactional leadership styles and organizational culture on employee performance of production of PT. Njonja Meneer Semarang. This research method is explanatory, with data collection through questionnaires and interviews. The sampling technique used purposive technique sampling. The samples are 90 peoples whom are employees of the production departement of PT. Njonja Meneer Semarang. The analysis technique used was qualitative and quantitative. Quantitative analysis using validity, reliability, cross tabulation, correlation coefficient, coefficient of determination, simple and multiple regression analysis, as well as the significance test (t test and F test).            The results of this study showed All independent variables, namely motivation (X1), transactional leadership style (X2), and organizational culture (X3) together (simultaneously) or individually (partial) affect employee performance dependent variable (Y). Advice can be given that the need for the physical layout of a good and convenient for employees as the embodiment of a strong organizational culture of the company. In addition, companies need to provide training for employees and distribution of informative information, considering the standard of the company that changes according to market conditions at that time.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of the company's reputation and quality of service to customer retention and satisfaction as an intervening variable in the airline Sriwijaya Air Semarang . This type of research is explanatory , with the technique of collecting data through a questionnaire. The sampling technique used purposive sampling technique , the sample of 100 peoples who are service users airline Sriwijaya Air Semarang . The method of analysis used in this study is Part Analiyst or Path Analysis.Based on the calculations show that there is a variable corporate reputation , quality of service , and satisfaction positive and significant impact on customer retention is equal to 21.0 % . Based on the analysis of pathways directly influences have a greater value than the indirect effect , it shows the customer will be immediately have a sense of retention of the services of the airline Sriwijaya Air flight.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the tendency of customers have accounts at several banks are often regarded as common practice in the banking industry in this country. This suggests that to boost customer loyalty is not an easy job. In particular, this study discusses the BNI which decreased loyalty index based on Indonesian Bank Loyalty Award 2014. The higher of the value that customer perceived, the customer loyalty will be higher too. In addition, trust and management of the relationship between banks and customers is important to encourage customers to have a bond with the product used.The objective of this research is to examine the influence of customer value, brand trust and emotional relationship toward customer Taplus BNI loyalty. The type of this research is explanatory research. Non-probability technique that is purposive sampling were used as sampling technique with sample amounted to 98 people. The data were analyzed using correlation coefficient, simple linear regression, multiple linear regression, determination coefficient, t and F test using SPSS 16.0.The result of data analysis showed that variable customer value (X1), brand trust (X2), and emotional relationship (X3) either partially or simultaneously have a positive influence on loyalty (Y). Customer value is a variable that gives the biggest influence while brand trust gives the smallest influence toward loyalty.The advice that given to BNI about customer value is socialization of e-banking have to more intense, adding cash deposit machine facilities and self-passbook printing machine, and more attractive promotion. About brand trust is disclosure provisions of promotional prizes, clarity standard complaint handling time and improving IT systems. About emotional relationship is improving personal inform about promotion and event, human resource development and improvement of the relationship between the bank and its customers.

Abstract

Business development is a situation where a growing business or not be seen from some of the indicators that can be used as a measurement to determine a growing business or not. For every business is different, so different measures used to determine whether a business succeeds or not. Many emerging competitors can improve business development to stay ahead among its competitors. Factors such as the level of experience in entrepreneurship, productivity and innovation also performed can affect the development of the work done.The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the level of experience in entrepreneurship, productivity, and innovation to the development of the spring roll skin. This type of research is explanatory research, with data collection through questionnaires and interviews. The sampling technique used nonprobability sampling techniques and sample saturated. The sample amounted to 30 UMKM entrepreneurs spring roll skin on skin Lumpia. This study uses quantitative analysis techniques. Quantitative analysis using validity, reliability, simple regression analysis, the coefficient of determination, the significance test (t test) and f test.The results of this study indicate that all variables are partially independent, entrepreneurial experience level variables (X1) effect on business development (Y) of 38.2%, productivity (X2) effect on business development (Y) by 38%, and innovation (X3) effect on business development (Y) of 39.5%.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of product quality and to save the results to the decision of Bank Muamalat Indonesia Indonesia Sharia. This type of research is explanatory. The number of samples taken were 100 respondents with accidental sampling method. Collecting data using questionnaires, interviews, observation. Testing hypotheses using statistical analysis covering the correlation coefficient, coefficient of determination, t-test and F test results of this study show that in partial positive influence on product quality saving decisions by 17.7%, the variable for the result a positive effect on saving decisions by 4.7%. Simultaneously, the variable quality of the product and the results of a positive influence on the decision of saving of 22.4%.

Abstract

This research aims to know the influence of  the outlet and product quality toward purchase decisions through brand trust of herbal medicine consumers of Nyonya Meneer in Semarang. This type of research is explanatory, to explain the causal relationship between the outlet and product quality toward purchase decisions. Population ini this research is Nyonya Meneer consumers who was 16 until 35 years and live in Semarang. The number of samples in this study amounted to 100 people.                                                         The sampling on this study is used purposive sampling’method. Data collection methods used is literature studies and questionnaires. The data obtained were analyzed using a test of validity, reliability, simple linear regression and multiple linear regression. While hypothesis testing using t-test, F test and path analysis.                                                         The results showed that outlet and  product quality affects purchase decisions. Based on the path analysis, its show that direct effect of outlet toward purchase decisions is 0,122. Meanwhile, the impact of outlet toward purchase decisions through brand trust is 0,027192. Its show that the impact of outlet toward purchase decisions is higher though not  through the brand trust. In the other side, the  direct effect of  product quality toward purchase decisions is 0,126. Menawhile, the impact of product quality toward purchase decisions through brand trust is 0,032857.  Its show that the impact of product qulity toward purchase decisions is higher though not  through the brand trust.             Based on this analysis, the advice that can be given to improve the brand trust or purchase decisions is that the PT Nyonya Meneer and the outlets owner should be able to improve the outlet with improving the desain and facilities outlet. And then to maintain product quality by improve quality packaging and the addition of variants taste. And to be able to invite young consumers, Nyonya Meneer can also add activities involving young consumers.But, based on the path analyse showed that coefficient has small number, so its better to the company also give the attention to other factors that impact the purchase decisions.
