Abstract

In any company, human resources (HR) has a very important function and role because it is one of the most influential contributors in the success of a company. The purpose of this research is to analyze the influence of supervision, work motivation, and interpersonal communication on employee performance and organizational commitment as intervening.The study was conducted at PT. Pos Indonesia (Persero) Branch Ungaran. The data collected in this research is by distributing questionnaires to respondents who are employees of Ungaran Post Office and the sample used in this study is simple random sampling, with the number of samples of 50 respondents. Variables of supervision, work motivation, and interpersonal communication as independent variable, employee performance variable as dependent variable, and variable of organizational commitment as intervening variable. Data analysis method used is multiple regression analysis. Data analysis techniques use reliability test, validity test, classical assumption test, determinant coefficient test, F test, t test, and sobel test to test the mediation effect.The results of the analysis of this study indicate that supervision has a positive and significant impact on organizational commitment, work motivation has positive and significant impact on organizational commitment, interpersonal communication has positive and significant impact on organizational commitment, organizational commitment have positive and significant influence on employee performance, supervision have positive and significant effect to employee's performance, work motivation does not have positive and significant effect to employee performance, and interpersonal communication have positive and significant influence to employee performance.

Abstract

Human resources is the main asset in every passage of the activity in the company. So that optimal attention should be given tothe employee. The background of this research is a decrease in the performance of employees at PT Luxindo Nusantara Semarang. Many factors that affect the performance of employees, including the leader who never involve subordinates in decision making, lack of reward and punishment system in the company that could affect employee motivation, and complaints from employees about the working environment that is not conducive so employees feel tired easily when working. Objective of this study was to prove the influence of leadership, motivation, and phsysical work environment on employee performance PT.Luxindo Nusantara Semarang This study uses independent variables including leadership, motivation, and physical work environtment, as well as the dependent variable is the performance of employees. The population in this study were employees of PT.Luxindo Nusantara Semarang and samples taken were 72 respondents.Based on multiple linear regression analysis, the results showed that leadership, motivation, and physical work environment gives a significant positive effect on employee performance.

Abstract

Herding behaviour is one of investor’s irrasional behaviour that investors make decisions by following other investors' decisions or following a market consensus and tend not to use their own analysis in making their investment decisions. Herding behavior can affect the stability of the stock market because the market index value in the stock market will lead to a new price equilibrium, so it does not reflect the economic condition.This  research  tries  to  detect  whether  there  is  any  herding  behavior  by  investors  in emerging market and developed market, which are Indonesia, China, Singapore and Japan stock exchange. By looking at the relationship between Cross Sectional Absolute Deviation (CSAD) and market return, the herding behavior on the stock market can be known. This study used a quantile regression analysis because detection of herding was done under different conditions of market. Which the condition is market stress normal and high return.The results of this study shows that herding behavior detected on the emerging market which is Indonesia and China stock market on the high return market condition, that means investors on the emerging market stock exchange do herding so it can be concluded investors in emerging  market  has  an  irrational  behavior.  While  herding behaviour  not  detected  on  the developed  market  which  is Japan  an  Singapore  stock  market,  that  means  investors on the developed market country has a rational behavior

Abstract

The success of a restaurant can be seen from the amount of visitors who acquired continuously. But in 2012 visitors the House of Raminten restaurant has decreased and received some complaints that indicate the visitors consumer dissatisfaction, consumers who dissatisfied then do not have repurchase intention. So this research is aimed to analyze the affect of customer experience that is sense (X1), feeling (X2), thinking (X3), action (X4), and relation (X5) experience. toward the repurchase intention (Y) at The House of Raminten restaurant Yogyakarta.Data analysis uses quantitative method by IBM SPSS statistics software version 20. The population of this research are the consumers of The House of Raminten. The amount of sampels are 100 respondens and the sampling method is accidental sampling. Data collection is done by using questionnaire. The data analyze by using multiple linear regression analysis.The t test result show that customer experience (sense,feeling,thinking,action and relation experience) have positive and significant affect to repurchase intention. The multiple linier regression result show that the most dominant affect toward repurchase intention is think experience variable. The coefficient of determination (adjusted R2) obtained for 0,948, this means 94,8% repurchase intention is influenced by sense, feeling, thinking, act, and relation experience. It mean 5,2% has influenced by other variables beyond this research.

Abstract

Lately, coffee drinks have been favored by many in the community, which has led to a high competition for coffee shops, one of which is in Temanggung Regency. Companies must be able to compete and create new marketing strategies to survive and be able to reach a larger market share. This study aims to explain the effect of product quality, service quality and customer value in influencing purchasing decisions at KopiKitaKami coffee shops in Temanggung Regency.The sampling technique is done by accidental sampling. The number of samples as many as 130 respondents who live in Temanggung Regency and are customers who visit the KopiKitaKami coffee shop with at least one time bought at KopiKitaKami. The analytical tool used in this research is Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with AMOS 24.0 program.The results of this study indicate that product quality and service quality have a positive effect on customer value. As well as product quality, service quality, and customer value have a positive effect on purchasing decisions.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influece of the non-financial information (underwriter reputation and firm size), the financial information (Return on Assets, Debt to Equity Ratio and Earning Per Share), and the ownership (retained shares by owner and foreign ownership) on underpricing at non-financial companies in Indonesia Stock Exchange during 2008-2014. The population in this study consists of all IPO non-financial firm in Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2008-2014. After passed the purposive sampling method there were 77 non-financial companies obtained as sample. The data analysis methods used is multiple linier regression analysis and with the classical assumption test. The result of this research showed that underwriter reputation, Return 0n Assets (ROA) and Earning Per Share (EPS) have a negative and significant effect to underpricing, Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) has a positive and significant effect to underpricing, while firm size, retained shares by owner and foreign ownership have no significant effect to underpricing.

Abstract

This research aimed to analyze the factors affecting the financial distress of rural banks in West Sumatera. By using the technique of multiple linear regression analysis, and  the  latest  prediction  model  of  financial  distress  "Hebb  Z-Score",  this  research focuses on analyzing the influence of Current Ratio (CR), Total Liabilities to Total Assets (TLTA), Net Profit Margin (NPM), Non Performing Loan (NPL), and Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR) on the financial distress of Rural Banks in West Sumatera during the period 2013-2015.The sampling method used in this research is purposive sampling with criteria of banks listed on the Financial Services Authority, and has published the annual report for the period 2013-2015. This research obtained 87 rural banks as samples. Source of research data obtained from published financial statements of each bank listed in the directory Financial Services Authority (FSA).The results of this study indicate that TLTA and NPL ratio had a negative effect on the Z-Score, which it means that the NPL and TLTA   had a positive effect on the probability of financial distress banks. The higher the liabilities owned by bank and number of bad debts, the higher risk of a bank run into financial distress. NPM ratio has a positive influence on the value of the Z-Score, which it means that the NPM negatively affect probabilitias financial distress. The higher the value of NPM, the banks are increasingly safe and avoid the risk of distress. In addition it was found that the ratio of CR and CAR have no effect on financial distress.

Abstract

This research is motivated decline in employee performance CV. Metalindo Manunggal Karsa. This study aimed to examine the effect of labor compensation, work discipline, and physical work environment to employee performance in CV. Metalindo Manunggal Karsa. Research data retrieval is done through questionnaires to 84 respondents employees CV. Manunggal Metalindo Karsa obtained by using the technique jenuh sampling. Then analysis of quantitative and qualitative data. Qualitative analysis is the interpretation of the data obtained from the respondents and the data obtained from the field. Data - data that has met the validity, reliability, and classical assumption, processed with SPSS (Statistical Package for Social Science) for Windows 15. Where hypothesis testing using t test showed that the three independent variables are labor compensation (X1), work discipline (X2), and the physical work environment (X3) significant positive effect on employee performance dependent variable (Y)

Abstract

Globalization has encouraged businesses to expand into various countries, TOP 1 Oil as a product of American origin was present to Indonesian automotive industry. However, competition with domestic products have made the motor TOP 1 Oil has percentage decreasing of top brand index (TBI) consecutively in 2012 to 2015. This is supported by the decline in sales of motor TOP 1 Oil especially in Semarang.The purpose of this study is to determine the influence of variables country of origin image, marketing capabilities, and perceived quality towards brand equity, this correlation are expected can increase sales of TOP 1 Oil. Variable country of origin image, marketing capabilities, and perceived quality of is a reference as an independent variable. Brand Equity as an intervening variable and Purchase Decision as the dependent variable.The population used in this research is the consumer of TOP 1 Oil. This research method using a non-probability sampling technique with convenience sampling method. Used as a sample of 150 respondents. Data obtained from the questionnaire which is then processed and analyzed using SEM (Structural Equation Modeling) through AMOS program.The results showed that all three of independent variable has a positive influence on brand equity and brand equity has a positive influence on the purchase decision. From the influence of three independent variables, the country of origin image has the greatest impact on brand equity and then followed with the marketing capabilities and the smallest is the perceived quality.

Abstract

The development of technology makes life more modern, people want everything can be accomplished quickly and  easily,  so it makes many e-commerce spring up in Indonesia. This study aims to analyze the brand image and service quality on the trust and its impact on purchasing decisions in OLX.co.id site.The population of the study was all consumers who had ever done purchase transaction on OLX.co.id site, where the respondents are the people who domicile in Semarang city. The samples in this study were 150 respondents. The method of collecting data through questionnaires. This study uses analytical techniques of Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with AMOS 22.0 as the analysis instrument.The result of this study show that the brand image has a positive and significant effect on trust, brand image has a positive and significant effect on purchase decision, service quality has a positive and significant effect on trust, service quality has a positive and significant effect on purchase decision, and trust has a positive and significant effect on purchase decision.
