Abstract

The purpose of this research is to examine the influence of Distress Risk, Firm Size, Book to Market Ratio (BMR), Return On Assets (ROA), and Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) to stock return. This research used the Corporate data which have gone public and listed it to Indonesian Stock Exchange and classified with index Lq45. The data that it used at this research came from the annual published financial report of Indonesian Capital Market Directory period 2009-2013 with 25 corporate sampleThe method that used in this research was multiple regression analysis and then used assumption classic test and used hypothesis test that including F-statistic, T-statistic and determination of coefficients (R2).            The results of this research shows that distress risk have positive influence but not significant to stock return , size has a negative influence and has significant influence to stock return, BMR have a negative influence and have significant influence to stock return, ROA and DER does not have significant influence to stock return

Abstract

Islam-based  management  is  a  management  practice  which implements Islamic values in management and is currently started to be applied in many companies or businesses. However, due to limited of knowledge of the managers and employees to the values of Islam will lead to the ineffective application of the management practice. This study analyzed the extent to which the relationship and the role of Islamic values influence the aspects of a business. The purpose of the study is to analyze the extent to which the understanding of the owner, manager, and employees regarding Islamic values applied in management. This study also analyze the practice of the management based on Islam at the company and analyze the motivation of employees. The method used is a qualitative method with case study approach. The reasons for selecting this method is that research can focus and can be done in depth to determine the management practices of Islam based on Ayam Bakar Wong Solo Branch Simongan. The results showed that the owners and business practitioners have a good understanding associated with Islamic values which are implemented at the workplace. The Islamic values are implemented within human resources management practices such as human resource planning,  recruitment,  selection,  employment  contracts,  training  and development, performance appraisal and compensation.

Abstract

The  research  is  motivated  by  the  increasing  number  of  modes  of  public  transport, especially bus routes serving routes Solo - Semarang making competition among service providers and the increasingly tighter bus provides a variety of options for consumers. While the selectedobject in this study is the bus that included Rajawali bus routes serving Solo - Semarang. The purpose of this study was to analyze the factors that influence consumer loyalty to the Rajawali busservice company. Many factors can affect consumer loyalty including price fairness, quality of service and customer satisfaction.After a literature review and preparation of hypotheses, data were collected through quantitative  methods  with techniques  questionnaires  to  120  respondents  who  are customers / passengers of the bus Rajawali. The method of analysis used is the Structural Equation Modeling(SEM). This study used purposive sampling techniques for sampling where they've never been on a bus Rajawali all the more than two times as well as all of the respondents have a profession /occupation as a student. From the processing of the data is obtained five hypotheses. Meanwhile, in  the  questionnaire  also  contained  open-ended  questions  that  can  be  useful  to  know  the information or reasons of consumer.This study shows that price fairness and service quality have positive effect on costumers satisfaction, price fairness and service quality have no effect on customers loyalty, and customerssatisfaction has positive effect on costumers loyalty

Abstract

Generation Z is known as the internet generation. Generation Z is a teriminologi which has become a hot topic in the modern era. The number of conversations that can be discussed from generation Z. therefore this study aims to determine the effect of brand awareness, perceived price, web design on buying interest in Zenius.net. Zenius.net is one of the digital learning media.The number of samples in this study were 100 respondents. The respondent is a Zenius.net user or consumer candidate in Demak Regency. This research was conducted in various schools in Demak Regency. The method used in collecting data through questionnaires and sampling methods in this study was taken using incidental sampling and purposive sampling. The analytical method used is a quantitative method that includes validity and reliability tests, classic assumption tests, multiple regression analysis, t test, F test, and Determination coefficient throughaSPSSaanalysismtools.The results showed that brand awareness, perceived price and web design influence buying interest. or Can be concluded that the three variables have an influence on buying interest and are positive or in the direction of buying interest. The findings of this study indicate that web design variables are the most influential variables on buying interest.

Abstract

This study is motivated by the performance level ofemployees at gombel golf semarang which has not optimal. Based on the results of pre – survey,  decrease employee performance problem that occurs is indicated by the leadership, motivation, and work discipline in supporting the process of employee performance.This studyaims to examineandanalyze the effect ofleadership, motivation work, and discipline work on the performance ofemployees of Gombel GolfSemarang.This study uses three independent variables are leadership, motivation, and discipline of working with one dependent variable is the performance of employees. Using the formula slovin, obtained a sample of 52 employees. And the data collection methods used in this study is a questionnaire distributed to a sample that has been determined.The data analysis methodusedin this study includevalidity,reliability, classic assumption test, multiple linear regression analysis, t test, andthe coefficient of determination. Based on the results of t - test and multiple linear analysis showed that all hypothesis is accepted. Which mean  leadership, work motivation, and work discipline have apositive effect and significant on employee performance.

Abstract

Raja Asih Home Industry is one of the SMEs engaged in cakes and bakery in Cirebon regency. In the future, the bakery market will increase, so there will be a lot of business in the field of cakes and bakery, making the competition increasingly tight. One way to win the competition is by continuously improving the quality of the product to suit the consumer's wishes. This study discusses the application of Quality Function Deployment method, which aims to ensure that the products produced can meet the level of quality desired by consumers. Application of QFD method in improving product quality using House of Quality matrix (HoQ).The data in this study was collected by survey method using structured and situational interviews as well as questionnaires on 50 respondents. The method used is Quality Function Deployment Method (QFD).The result of this research is that there are 6 factors from bakery product that is considered very important by consumers, they are: texture, color of maturity, shape and size, bread quality, nutritional composition information and expiration time and company reputation. Based on the calculation of technical interest, which need to be prioritized in the improvement by the company are: selection of raw materials, cleaning equipment, machine maintenance and selection of jam.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the influence of internet shopping value is utilitarian shopping value and hedonic shopping value to intent to online repurchase with using perceived value as mediator variable study case on product fashion consumer of Faculty of Econimics and Business, Diponegoro University. Utilitarian shopping value based on critical thinking. Hedonic shopping value based pleasure. Perceived value is difference between the benefits received by consumer with all costs or a particular offer. Intent to online repurchase is an interest in re-purchase showing the desire to online re-purchase.            This study used non-probability sampling is used for judgmental sampling. Data were collected from 115 respondents selected using criteria that should have made a online purchase of fashion products at least twice. The method analysis used in this research was Maximum Likelihood test using the program of AMOS version 20.0.            The results show that the utilitarian shopping value and hedonic shopping value has positive influence on perceived value but did not positive influence on intent to online repurchase. Then, perceived value has positive influence on intent to online repurchase on product fashion consumer of Faculty of Econimics and Business, Diponegoro University.

Abstract

Airports is an important part of the transportation services industry which connecting between the aviation transportation provider with the consumers. PT. Angkasa Pura I  Bandara Internasional Ahmad Yani Semarang as a corporate which manage this access must always improve and adaptive in order to give the best sevices and consumers needs. The tranformation has done from 2010 to   change vision, mission and values of corporate is   an effort to make positive changes. This research aim to mapping current organizational culture and worker expectation for future as input for corporate if the current and expected organizational culture still compatible with corporate’s value so PT. Angkasa Pura I  Bandara Internasional Ahmad Yani Semarang always ready to face the changes and demands of consumers.This  research  use  the  Organizational  Culture  Assessment  Instrument  (OCAI) survey method. The survey was conducted at the level of General Manager as leader, Departement Head, Section Head, dan Staff with quantitative descriptive approach so it can be analyzed and identified current and expected organizational culture profile of PT. Angkasa Pura I  Bandara Internasional Ahmad Yani Semarang.The results obtained in this study was the difference in organizational culture that is felt nowadays by Staff with job level above. The dominant organizational culture is currently perceived by General Manager, Departement Head and Section Head is a hierarchy culture. But the dominant organizational culture is currently perceived by Staff is a clan culture. Then, a similar case founded which there is  difference in organizational culture that is felt today by General Manager with job level below. General Manager expects a hierarchy culture to be the most dominant. But,   Departement Head, Section Head and Staff expects a clan culture. This cultural profile picture can be use as input for corporate to  policy  making  to  create  organizational  culture  that compatible  with the corporate’s vision dan mission.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The research was motivated by the rapid growth of SMEs, but are not offset by significant productivity growth. By looking at existing problems, this study aimed to analyze the influence of the factor of education, the experience and the innovation on the productivity of small and medium businesses in the city of Semarang. This study aims to determine the factors that affect the productivity of small and medium businesses in the city of Semarang and can help small and medium business owners improve the factors that affect productivity positively. In this study population used is the Small and Medium Enterprises in the field of Fashion and Crafts batik in the city of Semarang. Population from this study gained from annual report Disperindag Semarang in 2011. The number of samples is determined based on the calculation of the Slovin formula with a tolerable error rate of 10%, then the number of samples obtained by 67 people from 200 people in population. Data analysis methods used in this study is a simple linear regression and Independent Samples T-Test, where the classical assumptions previously made ​​trial. The results showed that education and experience have a positive and significant effect on on the productivity variable. And there is a difference in productivity between SMEs with innovation in, and the SMEs without innovation in it. Writers advice to the government is to improve the common welfare and continuously increasing the interest to learn of SMEs`s owner by increasing the need of training.

Abstract

            This study aimed to analyze the effect of Firm Age, Board of Director, Audit Committee Meeting, Ownership Concentration and ROA (Return on Assets) on the Capital Structure that is projected as DER (Debt Equity Ratio) with Tangibility Asset and Market to Book Ratio as control variable .            The population used in this study is a Manufacturing Firm listed in the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2012-2016. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling which obtained 35 firms. The analytical method used is a classic assumption test such as Normality Test, Autocorrelation Test, Multicollinearity Test, Heterocedasticity Test,  Determination Coefficient  Test, F Statistical Test, T Statistical Test and Multiple Regression Analysis.            The result showed that the Firm Age, Audit Committee Meeting and Market to Book Ratio have a significant positive effect on DER (Debt Equity Ratio). While the Board of Director, Ownership Concentration, ROA (Return on Assets) and Tangibility Asset  have a significant negative effect on DER (Debt Equity Ratio). The result from determination coefficient  of 0.529 shows that 52.9% of the DER variation is explained by the independent variables in the study, while the remaining 47.1% is explained by other variables not included in the research model.
