Abstract

The background of this study is the decreasing index of word of mouth on smartphone Samsung in 2014, it indicates the decline in quality of Samsung, which means that people are no longer talk about Samsung smartphone. The objective of this study is to analyze the effects of product design, product quality assurance, and various feature application on customer satisfaction as an intervening variable and its influence on positive word of mouth of  the “Samsung” smartphone.    The study distributed 200 questionnaires to Samsung smartphone users. The sampling method employed was a purposive sampling technique. Using SPSS 18.0 and AMOS 18.0, the Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) was run.             The results showed that the model developed in the study was in good fit as Chi Square = 107 809 with probability = 0.156; RMSEA = 0.027; TLI = 0.989; CFI = 0.991; GFI = 0.939 and  AGFI = 0.912. Partially, product design, product quality and various feature application show positive effects, namely 0.321, 0.234 and 0.268, respectively, on customer satisfaction, while customer satisfaction also indicates a positive effect (0.226) on positive word of mouth. This implies product design is the most important factor of Samsung smartphone influencing customer satisfaction

Abstract

The intense competition in business and economy that happened now is one of the causes for the company’s mangement to improve their best performance to attract the investors to invest in their company. Basically, stock price is a reference for the investors to make investment decisions. Stock prices always fluctuate depend to the level of market’s supplies and demands. The stock price is influenced by several factors, internal and external factors. Internal factors can be seen from the company’s financial statements through the financial ratios such as ROE, DER, TATO, CAPEX and NCCR. This study aims to determine the effect of ROE, DER, TATO, CAPEX and NCCR toward the stock price.Population and samples in this study are all manufacturing companies, consumer goods industry sector listed on the Stock Exchange of the year 2010-2014. Purposive sampling methods of sampling and obtained a sample of 24 companies. Type of data is secondary. Multiple linear regression is used to determine the effect of ROE, DER, TATO, CAPEX and NCCR toward the stock price.The results showed that ROE have significant and positive effect toward the stock price meanwhile DER have significant and negative effect toward the stock price. Simultaneously test results indicate there is influence between ROE, DER, TATO, CAPEX and NCCR together toward the stock price of all manufacturing companies, consumer goods industry sector listed on the Stock Exchange. The magnitude of the effect was 42,7%, while the remaining 57,3% influenced by other factors outside this research.

Abstract

Corporate value is a way to see if the company is in a good position or not. If the company has a good corporate value it shows that the shareholders' position is also in prosperous condition. Corporate value also has a strong influence on stock prices, when the stock price is high then the corporate value is also getting better and if the stock price is low then the corporate value also becomes lowThis research aims to analyze the effect of dividend policy (DPR), debt policy (DER), profitability (ROE), firm size and sales growth of corporate value (PBV) and insider ownership as a control variable.The object of this research refers to manufacturing companies that are listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the period 2012-2016. The population of this study are 144 manufacturing companies that are listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during 2012-2016. The purposive sampling method used was used in selecting the research sample, 94 companies are sampled for the object of this study. Multiple regression technique are chosen for this research statistic analysis. This research founds that debt policy, profitability and size positively and significantly affects corporate value. Dividend policy and sales growth have no significant effect on the dividend payout ratio.

Abstract

In a country, the company has a function as one of the economic movement. While companies in other parties also have an impact on their business activities. Social care is seen to be concequences for companies on the surrounding environment in order to have a positive value in the eyes of the public. Meanwhile, the value of a company for those who want to invest, in terms of profitability alone. The purpose of this study was to examine the influence of Corporate Social Responsibility and Profitability toward the firm value with managerial ownership as moderating variables. This study was taken because there are differences in the results of previous research between the research with other research which caused unconsistency.This study uses secondary data. As for the sampling technique used purposive sampling technique taken from ICMD and the annual report of the Indonesia Stock Exchange including 32 companies that met the study criteria during the period 2011- 2013. The analysis method used by multiple regression model and regression moderation.By using multiple regression analysis, it can be seen that corporate social responsibility has no influence on corporate value, profitability is proxied by the ROA has a significant positive effect while the ROE does not affect the Firm Value. R-square value of 15.2%. Having given the moderating variables were analyzed with regression analysis resulted in corporate social responsibility moderation still does not have an influence on the Firm Value, ROA still have a significant positive effect on the Firm Value just a significance level fell by 0.2%, ROE has no effect, as the managerial ownership moderating variables were able to reduce the influence of ROA. Adjusted R-square value increased to 15.3% after a given moderating variables. The Firm Value is proxied by Price Book Value.

Abstract

The aim of this research was to recognize the influence of work discipline, motivation  and incentives to the nurses performance background of the phenomena that occur in the nurses performance of Rumah Sakit Jiwa Daerah Dr. Amino Gondhohutomo Kota Semarang.This research use work discipline, motivation and incentives as the independen  variable, while nurses performance as the dependen variable. This research was conducted at Rumah Sakit Jiwa Daerah Dr. Amino Gondhohutomo Kota Semarang, the data collection method was use quistionnaire technique that distributed into 125 nurses of Rumah Sakit Jiwa Daerah Dr. Amino Gondhohutomo Kota Semarang.Based on the multiple linear regression test, the result of this research showed that work discipline has positive and significant influence with the nurses performance. Motivation has positive and significant correlation with the nurses performance. Incentives has positive and significant influence with the nurses performance.

Abstract

The amount of working capital through WCR in food and beverage companies experiencedsignificant changes over period 2007-2010. Working capital is important area in financial management because it refers to the availability of the net current assets of the business for its operations. Working capital reflects the management of short-term assets and liabilities of the firms with the maturities of less than a year. Continuous monitoring is required to maintain optimum levels of various components of working capital. This study aims to analyze the factors that influence toward the amount of working capital.The population in this research is taken from food and beverage companies which enlisted in the BEI from year 2007-2010. The samples are obtained by using the purposive samplingmethod until only 16 companies left to be taken as samples in this research. This research usesregression analysis method to find the effect of independent variables (determining factors) of the working capital, such as size, profitability, operating cycle, leverage, and company’s sales growth.Based  on  the  results  of  regression  analysis  for  the  five  independent  variables,  onlyleverage and sales growth that have a significant effect on the amount of working capital. While the size, profitability and operating cycle have not significant effect on the amount of working capital in food and beverage companies sector which enlisted in the BEI from year 2007 -2010.

Abstract

Survived more than 30 years in the Indonesian cosmetics market, but Sariayu Martha Tilaar's lipstick is now experiencing a shift in market position as evidenced by the decline in the Top Brand Index for three years in a row from 2016-2018. This study aims to analyze the effect of electronic word of mouth on brand image and perceived quality and its impact on purchase intention on Sariayu Martha Tilaar lipstick.Non-probability technique was used for sampling with purposive sampling. Data were collected from 148 respondents aged 19-35 who in Semarang and used internet as a source of information for cosmetic products. The analytical method used is the Structural Equation Model (SEM) using Maximum Likelihood technique, which is processed using AMOS version 24.0.The results showed that electronic word of mouth has positive and significant influence on brand image and perceived quality. Perceived quality has positive and significant influence on purchase intention while brand image does not influence purchase intention. Electronic word of mouth also has an indirect influence on purchase intention through perceived quality.

Abstract

The problem in this research is a decrease in the amount of third party funds (savings) are decreased and the high number of closing the savings account of Islamic banking. This research aims to test the power of perceived service quality and perceived value to religious satisfaction to improve consumer resaving interest in an Islamic Banking in semarang (study in BNI Syariah). This study using three independent variable is perceived service quality and perceived value , variable resaving intention consumer as a dependent variable and variable religious satisfaction as intervening.A method of this research technique using probability sample that is random sampling and clusters of sampling to sample as many as 100 of respondents in the middle class and over who had bought an apartment in semarang .A method of data analyst using a technique double regression analysis , the analysis includes: test the validity of , a test of reliability , test the assumption of the classics , linear regression test doublet test , test f , test the coefficients determined and test sobel.The results show significant and positive effect perceived service quality to religious satisfaction and resaving intention, significant and positive effect perceived value to religious satisfaction and repurchase intention, and then significant and positive effect religious satisfaction to repurchase intention.

Abstract

Culture in a country has a close relationship to leadership in the country. The man is a leader for himself. Every human being has the desired leadership criteria. This research will discuss what kind of lead character the employee wants.The purpose of this research is to investigate what kind of leadership style desired by employees at Badan Pengembangan Sumber Daya Manusia Daerah Provinsi Jawa Tengah. The method used is a qualitative method with phenomenology study approach, in which data collection is done by interview, observation, and documentation in a certain period. Methods are chosen on the grounds that research can be done in a more focused and in-depth manner.The results of this research indicates that the leadership desired by the employees is the leadership that gives the form of attention outside the work affairs, the leader who want to go down directly, embrace, democratic, listen to the voice of the staff, walk according to existing rules, and want to familiarize themselves with the staff .

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of work stress variables and non-physical work environment on job satisfaction and its impact on employee turnover intention. This research was conducted at PT Panverta Cakrakencana Pandaan. The number of samples is set to a total of 100 respondents with a sampling using simple random sampling method. Measurements in the questionnaire using a Likert scale. Data analysis method that used in the research is Structural Equation Model (SEM) with the help of the AMOS 16.0 software.Results of hypothesis testing showed that the work stress variables and significant positive effect on employee turnover intention. Job stress negatively affects job satisfaction. Non-physical work environment positive effect on job satisfaction. Non-physical work environment negatively affect employee turnover intention. Job satisfaction negatively affect turnover intention. Path Analysis of the results showed that the direct effect of work stress and non-physical work environment to turnover intention of employees value is 0.226 and -0.335. The indirect effect of job stress and non-physical work environment on turnover intention through job satisfaction value is 0.095 and - 0.104.
