Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), Non Performing Financing (NPF), Financing to Deposit Ratio (FDR), Net Operating Margin (NOM) and the size of the company (size) of the business risk (SDROA) Islamic commercial bank in Indonesia period 2010-2014.The sampling technique used in this research is purposive sampling with criteria that Islamic banks publish annual financial reports and monthly basis during 2010-2014. The data used in this study was obtained from the annual financial statements and monthly on the official website of Bank Indonesia, the official website of Otoritas Jasa Keuangan and the official website of each Islamic commercial bank that the research sample. Samples are 11 sharia banks in Indonesia. Methods of data analysis in this study with multiple regression analysis, then use the test classic assumptions and hypothesis testing using the F statistic, statistical test t and test the coefficient of determination Adjusted R2 with a significance level of 5%.The results showed that the independent variables simultaneously (F test) affect the SDROA with a significance level of 0.006. While partially (t test) showed that the CAR and FDR variable positive and significant impact on SDROA. Variable NPF and NOM positive and not significant to SDROA. Meanwhile, the variable size and no significant negative effect on SDROA. Adjusted R2 value of 0.21, which means that the ability of the five independent variables can explain SDROA by 21%, while the remaining 79% is explained by other factors not included in the research model.

Abstract

Receiving proper healthcare is a primary need in society. Qualified healthcare can’t be apart from the optimal work performance of all parties in the healthcare industry, to this matter is from its employees. A good work performance can emerge if the employees applied the main values that organization used as its philosophies and guidance in order to run its activities, called organizational culture. The optimal work performance also can be yielded from the employees who like their job and comfortable with it, where they can obtain their job satisfaction according as they expected. The aim of this research is to analyze the effect of organizational culture and job satisfaction to the employee performance in Panti Wilasa “Citarum” Semarang Hospital. Sample applied in this research is 100 employees. The data collected by using questionnaires which the sampling technique is simple random sampling. Analytical method used in this research is multiple linear regression analysis, using SPSS program. The result shows that organizational culture positively influence on employee performance, and job satisfaction positively influence on employee performance. Empirical finding indicated that to increase employee performance, the management should pay more attention to organizational culture factors and job satisfaction factors, because those factors proved influence on employee performance.

Abstract

Basically, in Islamic perspective every human being is a leader whether for himself or another. Leadership someday will be counted in the presence of Allah SWT. Therefore, an Islamic leader is prohibited to act according to his will and his group but must follow the rules derived from Al-quran and As-sunnah. The main purpose of this research is to analyze and discuss the implementation of Islamic values in leadership functions. The method used in this research  is qualitative and phenomenology study approach. The method is choosen in order to archive  the participant’s life experience related to the phenomenon of Islamic leadership in RS PKU Muhammadiyah Temanggung. In attempt to collect the data, this research uses interview, observation, and documentation within a certain period of time. The finding of this research shows that managers of RS PKU Muhammadiyah Temanggung apply Islamic values such as siddiq (truthful), amanah (trustworthy), tabligh (deliver), and fatanah (smart) in instructive, consultative, control, and exemplary leadership functions.

Abstract

Technology devices has been a necessity in every sector in human being nowadays. One of modern devices which grows rapidly is computer. Computer development is shown in each shape variations and usages. After the type of computer that has to be connected with electricity or what we usually call PC desktop, there is portable notebook, a battery-using computer. The emergence of various brands in the notebook industry that offers innovations and new variants with all good features makes competition in the notebook industry is getting tough. Each companies are required to win the competition by getting consumers as many as possible.This research uses buying decision as a dependent variable, advertising activity, public relation activity, sales credibility, references groups as independent variables, as well as product knowledge as an intervening variable. Number of samples are 100 respondents. The sampling technique uses accidental sampling and data analysis methods used were descriptive statistics, validity test, reliability test, classic assumption test, multiple linear regression and hypothesis testing.                Based on the results of the regression analysis showed that the activity of advertising and reference groups has a significant positive effect on product knowledge, however the sales credibility and public relations activities has no significant effects on product knowledge.

Abstract

This study motivated by the phenomena gap that occurred on small and middle enterprise (UKM) which is engaged in the food processing industry in Gresik. This study aims to examine the performance of Supply Chain Management which include focus on independent variables longterm relation, information sharing, Cooperation, Integration Process.The population in this study are all the small and middle enterprise’s business owner in the food processing industry (IKM) in Gresik. Data collection method used is the method of sampling the sample amount to 106 respondents. The analytical method used is multiple regression.Based on statistical data analysis, the indicators in this study are valid and reliable. Sequentially based on the highest up to the lowest effect variable is the variable of longterm relation, information sharing, Integration Process, Cooperation. The result of the study found that three of all the independent variables are significant positive effect on the dependent variable while another variable (Cooperation) is significant negative.

Abstract

Abstract Berbahasa Inggris. In this global era, there are big emerging ritail companies in Indonesia. The growing ritail companies in Indonesia caused by the change in consumption patterns, especially in the ritail fashion products. This is supported by the shopping behavior of Indonesian citizen has begun to shift, from shoping in traditional to modern ritail market. This study aims to analyze the influence of creative promotion, visual merchandising, and pricing on product purchasing decisions on consumer ritail fashion of PT Mitra Adiperkasa.The data collection method was collected by questionnaire . The primary data source used in this study is data on respondent's perceptions of creative promotion, visual merchandising, pricing and purchasing decisions. The questionnaire in this study using a Likert scale. In determining the scale, then we use the measurement scale or range scale. Quantitative analysis includes Validity Test, Reliability Test, Classical Assumption Test, Regression Analysis, and Test of Goodness of Fit which includes analysis coefficient of determination (R2), F test and t test.The results of this study are Creative promotion proved positive and significant impact on purchasing decisions, which can be evidenced from the results of t - test of 2,256. Visual merchandising proved positive and significant impact on purchasing decisions, which can be evidenced from the results of t - test of 4.252. Price proved positive and significant impact on purchasing decisions, which can be evidenced from the results of the test - t of 4.059

Abstract

The technological advances of the modern era led to the increasing penetration of internet users in the world, including Indonesia. This raises increased competition in the business world. This trend caused the emergence of the internet online stores. It is becoming the alternative choice in shopping for consumers. Consumers are not only able to shop in an offline store that requires out of the house, but now with the internet connection consumers can shop from home. It encourages the offline store to follow developments and make its own online store. But in fact the Indonesian people are still hesitant to purchase online. This phenomenon is evidenced by the data that showing of the 20 people there is only one person who bought at the online store, it is lower than offline stores where 5 people are at least 1 people are buying. For the online stores need to know how to increasing consumer purchasing decisions.The purpose of this study was to see how much influence service quality and brand image on perceived value and purchasing decision, and the influence of perceived value and trust towards purchasing decision This study is conducted to consumers who make purchases online at lazada.co.id, where respondents are Semarang people. The samples in this study were 200 respondents. The method of collecting data through questionnaires. The method of data collected through questionnaires. The sampling method in this study is a non-probability sampling with purposive sampling technique. This study uses analytical techniques of Structural Equation Model (SEM), which is estimated by AMOS 21.0.The Result show that the service quality and brand image has a positive and significant effect on perceived value. Service quality, brand image, trust and perceived value has a positive and significant effect on purchasing decision.

Abstract

Based on data obtained from ASPERINDO that e-commerce business has significantly growing, it may boost the number of express shipments increased from year to year,  logicly it cause good impact to JNE as well yet the fact is JNE still status quo in national scale of market share table, JNE only had 7,9% share  whereas Tiki the competitor had 70,7% share on market share. The data provided ASPERINDO there would be rise a question ”why JNE and Tiki had huge gap on market share?” although JNE and Tiki  established on the same year back than. Because JNE is service corporate than the study will used service approach method that is SERVQUAL (it’s stand for service quality) method. This study is aimed to analyse the level of importance and performance of JNE Regional Semarang’s service. Variables used in this study are service quality which consists of reliability, responsiveness, assurance, emphaty, and tangibles with the level of customer satisfaction. These variables are used to measure the Importance and Consumer Assessment of quality of services rendered the company. The research data collected data from 100 respondents of JNE customers are selected by incidental sampling through a questionnaire consisting of closed questions and opened questions. Customer Satisfaction Index is used to analyse the level of overall customer satisfaction. Meanwhile, to identify performance improvement priorities, Importance Performance Analysis method was used which consists of two components, specifically: the gap analysis (gap) and quadrant analysis. Results showed that overall customer is quite satisfied of performance of JNE express shipping service with customer satisfaction index. The application of quadrant analysis showed that indicators of dimension of reliability which should be evaluated for immediately repaired their performance, because the performance has been given not as expected by JNE customers.

Abstract

             A site's traffic is one of the most important performance indicators in a company that provides digital content or a website. This research aims to analyze the influence of perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness towards intention to use news sites Suaramerdeka.com through attitude towards use as the intervening variable.            The sampling method used on this research is non-probability samplig with purposive sampling technique. Samples were collected from 100 respondents on Semarang who use the internet and knows information about Suaramerdeka.com. Analysis method used here is multiple regression analysis wich includes validity test, reliability test, classic assumption test, multiple linier regression test, t-test, f-test, determination test and sobel test.            The result showed that perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness has positive and significant influence on attitude towards use. While attitude towards use as the intervening variable has positive and significant influence on intention to use

Abstract

The aim of this research is to investigate the leadership style applied in Palupi Craft – a handicraft company specializing in batik bag and leather goods. Despite the continuous growth in company sales, the company owner was not able to describe the leadership style she implements in the company. To measure and determine the leadership style used in Palupi Craft, this study utilize Leadership Questionnaire developed by Bass and Avolio. The questionnaires were distributed to all Palupi Craft employees, and the results were described using descriptive technique.  This study reveals that the Palupi Craft owner tend to utilize transactional leadership style in managing her business. Discussion and recommendation for future research was also included.
