Abstract

Salesperson plays an important role in supporting company’s success. By developing salesperson performance, it is expected that company’s performance will be developed as well. This research analyzes the factors that influence the increasing of salesperson performance, by developing variables such as learning orientation, customer orientation, and salesperson competencies. To discuss the problem, this research proposes research model with four constructs, 12 indicators, and five hypothesises. Those hypothesises were tested by distributing 240 questionaires with doing a census of the each salespeople at Nasmoco car dealer in Semarang. The data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modelling. The result of this analysis has fulfilled the Goodness of Fit Index criterias, X2 (chi square) 9.375, 0.284 (≥0.05), RMSEA 0.042(≤0.08), GFI 0.975 (≥0.90), AGFI 0.933 (≥0.90), TLI 0.996 (≥0.95), CFI 0.998 (≥0.95), it can be said that the model is appropriate. The testing of proposed hypothesises shows those three hypothesises has met the prescribed requirements CR>2 with probability level < 0.05.Based on the analysis, proposed theoretical implications, communication skills, customer orientation, and adaptive selling affect the salesperson performance proper with the theories background.

Abstract

The existence of Organization Citizenship Behavior (OCB) is believed can bring positive impact not only for the members but also give a contribution to the organization itself. Therefore many organizations improve their OCB to their employer. This research aimed to examine the impact of procedural justice, trust, job satisfaction and organizational commitment on OCB. The research was conducted in Perusahaan Daerah Air Minum (PDAM) Demak regency which is one of BUMD. There are 126 employers as research sample. The instrument of questioner is used to get the research data. Multiple regression analysis is used to test the impact those variables on the OCB. The result shows that procedural justice, trust, job satisfaction and organizational commitment have positive and significant influence to the Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB). Organizational commitment is a variable which affected the most while procedural justice has the weakest effect.

Abstract

The large number of existing hospitals are at the core of the community, making the community has many options to do health care. There fore the leadership of the hospital and the soldiers must work together providing excellent service to it is maximum patient. Good relations between superiors and subordinate in the hospital an justice, then it would be increase  organizational commitment of employees to the hospital. This research to find out how the influence of leader member exchange (LMX) and the organizational justice of organizational commitment.The research was carried out using multiple linear regression analysis wih the help of SPS program 21. The sample in this research are permanent employees of 63 respondent by the census method. Method of data collection in this research is through aqustionnaire distributed to 63 employees remain Bhakti  Asih hospital in Brebess.            Result of the analysis show that variable leader member exchange (LMX) influential organizational commitment to wards positif and influential organization justice positive variables of organizational commitment with the coefficient of determination Adjusted R Square shows the value of 0,552. The results of the determination of the contribution of leader member exchange (LMX) and justice organizationals in influencing organizational commitment 55,2% unted to 44,8% while the restis affected by other variables

Abstract

Diminished performance from employee performance PT. Telekomunikasi Indonesia (persero) Tbk., area of south jakarta  in 2012 to 2013 to make the authors examine employee performance. This research is purposed to analyze the effects of Leader trust, non physical environment, and reward on employee’s performance. The phenomenon of fluctuation employee’s performance rate at PT. Telekomunikasi Indonesia (persero) Tbk., area of south jakarta indicate that the employee’s performance is not maximized. This study used three independent variables there are Leader trust, non physical environment, and reward. This study aims to examine and analyze the effects of Leader trust, non physical environment, and reward on employee’s performance at PT. Telekomunikasi Indonesia (persero) Tbk., regional division, area of south jakarta. Data collection methods used in this study are questionnaires using non random sampling method, the sample used in this study were permanent employees of PT. Telekomunikasi Indonesia (persero) Tbk., regional division, area of south Jakarta many as 93 respondents. This study uses data analysis methods include validity test, reliability test, classic assumption test, multiple linear regression analysis, coefficient determination test, F test and t test. The result showed that the variables of Leader trust, non physical environment, and reward affect positively on the employee’s performance of employees at PT. Telekomunikasi Indonesia (persero) Tbk., regional division, area of south Jakarta. These variables have an impact of 28,6% on employee’s performance. While the remaining 71.4% is influenced by other variables outside of this study

Abstract

A good marketing performance showed a high level of sales, increasing the number of  sales  both  in  units  of  the  product  or  in  monetary  units.  The improved marketing performance  marked also with good sales growth from year to year and higher growth than similar competitors and has a broad customer compared to previous years. This study aimed to analyze the influence  of strategy and service outlets and outlet connection with the performance of selling-in and impact on the performance of marketingThis study uses multiple linear  regression  analysis using SPSS. The population used is the customer's customer Buana Gemilang Creatindo Semarang in January-August 2014. The samples used were 100 people with sample selection techniques using non- probability sampling accidental samplingThe results  show that  the strategy of influence  on the performance  and service outlets selling-in, relationships affect the performance of outlets selling-in, service strategy affect the performance of marketing outlets, outlets Relations affect the performance of selling-in, Performance selling-in effect on the performance of marketing, strategy service outlets and  outlet connection directly influence the performance of  marketing through selling-in performance.

Abstract

Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) with regard to the manifestation of a person (employee) as a social creature. Emotional skills (ability to work) is part of the OCB to produce outstanding performance in the job. Organizational culture guide the behavior of employees to improve work ability, commitment and loyalty of employees who have the organizational commitment is high performing not only tasks that have become obligations, but will voluntarily work on things that can be classified as additional interventions (extra effort).Samples adalam this study are employees of PT. Pawnshop (Persero) Regional Office XI Semarang Pawnshop 60 people. Data collection techniques using a questionnaire with Likert scale. Test instruments used validity and test reliabiltas. Analysis of the data used is multiple linear regression, with ujit, F test and coefficient determinai.Based on the analysis and discussion of results, it can be concluded that (1) Cultural Organization positive and significant impact on the Organization Citizenship Behavior (OCB); (2) Organizational Commitment positive and significant impact on the Organization Citizenship Behavior (OCB) and (3) Organizational Culture and Organizational Commitment positive and significant impact on the Organization Citizenship Behavior (OCB).

Abstract

Lifebuoy has always been a market leader in the toiletries industry in the category of solid soap. Nonetheless, brand value (performance brand) Lifebuoy decline, even elements of brand value (performance brand) as brand share, brand TOM and TOM ad also decreased. It can be assumed the declining strength of the brand in the minds of consumers (brand awareness) and of course will affect consumer attitudes toward the brand (brand attitude) Lifebuoy whether consumers will come back or not. In building a brand (brand awareness), the first step that must be done is the brand should be introduced first to the consumers, so that consumers can be aware of the brand, well-known brand, and ultimately a strong brand can attach minds of consumers (Ridwansyah, 2002) . One way to do that is through advertising with celebrity endorser credibility and appeal of advertising. The purpose of this study to analyze the influence of credibility of celebrity endorser and attractiveness advertising of brand awareness and its effect to brand attitude of Lifebuoy bar soap in Semarang. Sample in this study is 120 respondens who know Lifebuoy advertising. Method used is Purposive Sampling with distributes questionnaire to respondens. This study use quantitive analysis is validity and reliability test, the classical assumption test, multiple linear regression analysis, dan goodness of fit test. Based on the result of regression analysis indicate that credibility of celebrity endorser (X1) and attractiveness advertising (X2) have a positive influence and significant to brand awareness (Y1) of Lifebuoy bar soap with a regression coefficient value of 0,554 and 0,304. While the brand awareness (Y1) have a positive influence and significant to brand attitude (Y2) of Lifebuoy bar soap with a regression coefficient value of 0,791.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of consumer motivation, perceived quality, consumer attitudes and brand image on purchasing decisions with buying interest as an intervening variable. The study was conducted on prospective customers from Datsun car products in Semarang City. The number of samples used in this study were 150 respondents. The method of data collection is done through a questionnaire. This study uses Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) analysis techniques using the AMOS 22.0 analysis tool. The model of this study has fulfilled the rules of Goodness of fit, including: Chi square (125,125), probability (0,124), RMSEA (0,33), CMIN / DF (1,159), TLI (0,979) and CFI (0,984).            The results of this study indicate that consumer motivation has a positive and significant effect on buying interest, perceived quality has a positive and significant effect on buying interest, consumer attitudes negatively affect buying interest, brand image has a positive and significant effect on buying interest, and buying interest has a positive and significant influence towards purchasing decisions.

Abstract

In attempts of encouraging creation of quality human resource, leadership style is one of factors in which academicians and practitioners of human resource pay attention. The research examines effects of leadership style on working discipline, working motivation, and performance of employees.Subject of the research is employees of PT. Lentera Nusatama of Surakarta. Sample of the research is all members of population, namely 72 respondents. Questionnaire is used to collect data and path analysis with multiple linear regression model approach is used to prove hypotheses of the research.Results of the research obtained a total value of determination coefficient from regression model of 75.3%. It means that leadership style had significant effect on working motivation, working discipline and performance of employees,  whereas the rest, 24.7%, were affected by other variables. Because values of leadership style, motivation and working discipline was less than 0.05, it can be concluded that a positive effect of leadership style on the working motivation, discipline and performance of employees was found.

Abstract

The rapid development of the culinary business in the city of Semarang is also supported by consumer behavior itself. Family cities tend to be practical, they choose instant food and liked the restaurant with atmosphere "homey". This phenomenon is supported by the habits of Semarang people are likely to visit a restaurant or a place to eat with a variety of purposes in addition to eating a meal, like hanging out with relatives or family, for a business meeting, or celebrate an event, etc.               The population is all existing customers Waroeng Steak and Shake Branch Sampangan. samples taken in the study was obtained for 96.04 and then rounded up to 100 people. The analysis tool used is multiple linear regression were first tested by using validity and reliability.            The results showed that the influences of the positive and significant correlation between perception of price on purchase decisions. This means that if the price is affordable then buying decision will increase. There are significant positive and significant correlation between the quality of products on purchase decisions. This means that any increase in the belief it will increase keptuusan pembelianTerdapat positive influence and significant correlation between customers' confidence in purchasing decisions. This means that any increase in the belief it will increase keptuusan pembelian.Terdapat positive influence and significant correlation between the quality of service to the purchasing decision. This means that any increase in the quality of service will improve purchasing decisions.
