Abstract

This research is motivated by the decrease in the number of visitors on Berrybenka site and complaints from customers which indicate dissatisfaction toward Berrybenka that can affect the loyalty of Berrybenka’s customers. Based on the problems, this research aimed to examine the effect of product quality, website quality, and service quality to customer satisfaction and its impact on customer loyalty. This research was conducted at e-commerce B2C Berrybenka site.The sample of this research is 100 respondents who had ever done purchase transaction on e-commerce B2C Berrybenka site at least 2 times and stay in Semarang. This research consisted of 5 variables, 19 indicators, and 5 hypothesis. The analysis instrument used was SPSS 22 with multiple linear regression and sobel test as analysis methods to examine the indirect effect of independent variables to dependent variable through intervening variable.The result of this research showed that product quality has positive and significant effect on  customer  satisfaction,  website  quality  has  positive  and  significant  effect  on  customer satisfaction, and service quality has positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction with result Y1= 0,360X1 + 0,263X2 + 0,348X3. Customer satisfaction has positive and significant effect on customer loyalty with result Y2= 0,896Y1. The result of sobel test showed that product quality, website quality, and service quality have indirect effect on customer loyalty through customer satisfaction

Abstract

This study was based on Financial Services Authority needs’ of high productivity as a new-born body. Financial Services Authority (OJK) as a financial services monitoring body in Indonesia is important to note as a support to OJK,s existence. This study aimed to examine the effect of training, work discipline, and leadership to employees’ productivity in OJK Regional 3 Surabaya. This study used purposive sampling method with a sample of 93 people from a population of employees in OJK Regional 3 Surabaya. The analytical method used is multiple linear regressions. The results of the study found that the following regression equation: Y = 0.499 X1 + 0.426 X2  + 0.355 X3. Based on statistical data analysis, the indicators in this study were valid and reliable. In the classical assumption test, regression model was free from multicolonearity, no heteroscedasticity, and normal distribution. The greatest variable was training variable which equaled to 0.499, while the smallest variable is leadership which equaled to 0,355. The results of the study found that all independent variables were positive and had a significant effect on the dependent variable.

Abstract

             Risk is a very important part in investment decision. Therefore, any factors that explain the risk dynamics need further research. There are 2 types of investment risk, systematic risk and non-systematic risk. Liquidity, leverage, operating efficiency, dividend payout ratio, profitability, and company size are financial variables that expected to be a determinants of systematic and non-systematic risks.             The objective of this research is to understand the relationship between liquidity, leverage, operating efficiency, dividend payout ratio, profitability, and company size with systematic and non-systematic risks in Indonesia capital markets. This research was done by observing non-finance companies indexed in LQ45 2016 between 2012 to 2016 (5 years).             The result shows that liquidity has a  negative and significant effect towards systematic and non-systematic risks. Profitability carries negative and significant effect towards systematic risk, operating efficiency and company size carries negative and significant effect towards non-systematic risk.

Abstract

This research was triggered by theincreasment of competitionin the grocery retail business which is characterized by the emergence of many minimarket’s in recent years. Sari store’s customers have been decreased in just past four months, from January to April 2013. Besides, Sari store has several new competitors like Indomaret, Alfamart, etc. Effort to maintain customer loyalty is toimprove service quality. The aim of this research is to analyze the influence of location, price perception and service quality towards customers loyalty in Sari store.The questionnaire data are collected from 75 respondents. Validation test, reliability test, classic assumption test (Normality test, Multicolinearity test, heteroskedasticity test), multiple linear regression analysis, and goodness of fit test (F test, t test, determination coefficient) will be used to analyze.From regression analysis, we know that location, price perseption, and service quality variable have the positive effect for customer’s loyalty at Sari store. The service quality variable is the most influential for customer’s loyalty. All of the three variable have 54.1% of customer’s loyalty, and the rest percentage is affected by the others variables.The results of this research indicate that the location have positive impact on customers loyalty. price perception impacting positively on customers loyalty. service quality have positive impact on customers loyalty.

Abstract

Business competition of Samsung smartphone in Indonesia has increased rapidly in recentyears,in line with the emergence of new brands on the market. Existing companies arerequired to create strategies in order to survive and compete in the market. The purpose ofthis study is to determine the effect of brand image, price, and product review towardsSamsung smartphone’s purchase decision.The population in this study were Undip semarang students who have usedsmartphone from Samsung. The amount of sample used was 100 people selected usingaccidental sampling through questionnaire. Data obtain from the questionnaire were thenprocessed and analyzed using SPSS 23 program.The results of the study shows that brand image significantly influence the purchasedecision, the price significantly influence the purchase decision, and the product reviewsignificantly influence the purchase decision. The result of F test obtained a significancevalue smaller than 0,05, it can be concluded that the regression model produced is fit andproper to use. These result means that brand image, price, and product review can be usedto predict purchase decisions.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of the job insecurity, job satisfaction, and commitment organization on intention to quit. This study used cencus method with 37 respondents as employee of outsourcing in the PT POS Indonesia (Persero) Branch Kudus.Technique test of the data used in this study include validity test, reliability test, classical assumption test, multiple linear regression analysis, t test, F test, and coefficient of determination test (R2) using SPSS application. The results showed that the content of the job insecurity have a positive and significant impact on intention to quit, while the job satisfaction and commitment organization have a negative and significant impact on intention to quit. Through the F test showed that the variable independents have simultaneous effect on intention to quit with significant result. Figures adjusted R square of 0,541 indicates that 54,1 percent the variations of intention to quit can be explained by variable used in the regression equation. While the rest of 45,9 percent is explained by another variables not included in this study.

Abstract

Money as payment tools has developed rapidly over time. The development of money is also affected by the development of information technology, that created electronic money. Transaction volume and transaction value of electronic money has increase recently with the increasing of customer needs on payment tools. Many factors influence the consumer's desire to use electronic money. This research’s objectives are to test the effect of perceived benefits, perceptions of ease of use, trust and perceptions of risk to interest in using electronic money instruments. Taking a sample of 120 respondents from selected enrolled student of the school year 2016/2017 from Management Department Faculty of Economics and Business Diponegoro University. This research using nonprobability sampling technique for selecting respondents. The method of data analysis used is multiple regression analysis, where the analysis consist of validity test, reliability test, classical assumption test, multiple linear regression test, t test, and F test. The result shows that perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use and trust have positive and significant effect to intention to use, while perceived risk has negative and not significant effect to intention to use.

Abstract

This research is motivated by growth of food products and beverages in Indonesia in general and specifically in the city of Semarang, which are imported from non-Muslims countries, such as China, Thailand, the United States and Japan. Many products of food and beverages are categorized subhat, or are still doubt in halal. It wasfounded by many goods in several market in Semarang without halal license byauthorizedinstitution in Indonesia. Purpose of this study is to analyze and provide empirical evidence whether the product knowledge and religious norms have positive effect  on consumer attitudes in the intention to consume halal food products and beverages in Semarang.This study uses multiple linear regression analysis using SPSS version 21. Data obtained by questionnaires and distributed to the Muslim community in Semarang who able to make own decisions to buy food and beverage products. 200 respondents has been collected with purposive sampling method.Result of this study showed that the product knowledge religious norms and consumer attitudes towards halal products have positive effect and significant on the intention to consume halal food products and beverages with the regression result Y2 = 0,266X1 + 0,149X2 + 0,325Y1.

Abstract

This experiment aims to examine the factors that affect the capital structure at manufacturing companies. The dependent variable in this study is the capital structure as measured by DER. The independent variables are profitability, asset structure, sales growth, cash holdings, liquidity and size of the company. The manufacturing company which is the object of this research is manufacturing companies that went public and was listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The sample population in this study is thirty companies listed on the Stock Exchange. The sampling technique used purposive sampling techniques to determine the sample, the study was conducted during the period 2010-2014, in order to obtain one hundred fifty research data. The data used in this research is secondary data drawn from the annual financial statements of companies listed on the Stock Exchange, which was then analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis which includes the classical assumption test and hypothesis testing using the coefficient of determination (R ²), statistical test F, statistit t test with significance level of 5%. The results of this study indicate that company size has a positive and significant impact on the capital structure of companies manufacturing, sales growth has a positive effect but not significant to the company's capital structure manufacturing, asset structure and liquidity has a negative and significant impact on the capital structure of manufacturing companies, while profitability and cash holding has a negative effect and no significant effect on the capital structure of the manufacturing company.

Abstract

Strada coffee has decreased sales in 2016-2017. one of the factors influencing the decrease of sales is the competition of coffee shop in Semarang which is very tight so as to make the level of customer decrease and cause the sales decrease.This research is used to analyze the effect of product quality, product variation, price appropriateness, brand image and brand awareness in an effort to improve purchasing decision of Strada Coffee Semarang. Strada Coffee is a coffee shop that provides  a  variety of  coffee products  such as  beverages  and  coffee beans  have been established since 2012 by Evani Jesslyn. The development of the business world in Indonesia increasingly rapidly and cause a more intense competition especially in the coffee shop business. This is seen in 2017 and Strada Coffee sales decreased.Sampling  technique  used  in  this  research  is  convenience  sampling  that  is sampling based on convenience. The researcher has no other considerations except based on convenience. Respondents in this study are Strada Coffee consumers who have visited the coffee shop at least 2 times, with the number of respondents 100 people.The results of research show that from the five independent variables in this study have a positive influence on the dependent variable that is the purchase decision. The coefficient of determination test results stated that the five independent variables have an effect of 86.1% of the Purchase decision. Strada Coffee as a coffee shop is recommended to build a good brand image by providing quality products and product variations so that consumers will be aware of the brand, it can improve purchasing decisions.
