Abstract

This research will analyze herding behavior based on the types of investors in Indonesian capital market 2009-2014. Investors are not only using the estimate of the prospects of investment instruments, but psychological factors also determine the investment. The presence of psychological factors can affect investment and results to be achieved. Analysis by type investor, time effect herding, impact of the transmission investor, and how behavior relation ships a cross investor.This research using method of Vector Autoregression (VAR), shares volume by using a sample of companies which listed on the stock index LQ-45 month period January 2009 to June 2014. The reason using LQ-45 index because the share of liquidity, market capitalization high, has a high-frequency trading. In this VAR Analysis model there are four method that had selected which are: VAR analysis, impulse respond function (IRF), Variance Decomposition, and Granger causality test.The results of VAR analysis shows that impact of herding behavior that issignificantly affected by a fellow investor. IRF showed a response to average shock occurred during first month, variance decomposition results show impact of behavior fellow investors responded only type of investor. Granger causality show that there is a causal relationship between type investors of foreign institutional to domestic individual, domestic institutional to foreign institutional, and domestic institutional to domestic individual relationship is going in one direction. The results four analyzes can explain existence of herding behavior in Indonesian capital market, although the effect only on a fellow investor type.

Abstract

Capital buffer is the difference between the bank's capital ratios with a minimum capital adequacy ratio of the central bank imposed . Capital buffers can be used by banks as capital reserves in the event of economic shocks that are not profitable.Committees of international banks (Basel Committee on Banking Supervision) implemented an kesepekatan (Basel Accord), which requires that each bank has a capital reserve (CAR) of 13% in order to strengthen its capital position , reduce inequality on different regulations in each country , and consider the various banking risks international banking in order to realize a healthy and stable .Efficiency is closely linked with the capital buffer. Simply put Efficiency can be measured by using ROA and BOPO. In this research the efficiency is measured by the non -parametric methods make use of Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) using three input variables , namely the Third Party Funds (DPK), labor costs and other operating costs as well as using a variable output that is lending.The research was conducted on BUMN Banks and non BUMN Bank in Indonesia in 2011-2014. The results of this study showed no difference between the efficiency of state-owned bank and non- bank state-owned enterprises. While capital buffer has no effect on the value of banking efficiency.

Abstract

This study aims to examine and analyze the influence between organizational climate, organizational communication and organizational commitment to work discipline. In this study, researchers studied the work discipline of the Operational Division of PT. Plasa Simpanglima Semarang by using independent variable that is organization climate, organizational communication and organizational commitment, and dependent variable that is work discipline.This study was conducted through the distribution of questionnaires to employees by using the census method as much as 110 people. Data analysis method used is multiple linear regression analysis. Where the test data used include validity test, reliability test, classical assumption test, t test, F test, coefficient of determination ( and multiple linear regression analysis.Based on the research results shows that organizational climate have positive and significant effect to work discipline. Organizational communication has a positive andsignificant impact on work discipline. Finally, organizational commitment has a positive and significant impact on work discipline. Coefficient of determination indicates that work discipline is influenced by organizational climate, organizational communication and organizational commitment equal to 68,9% while the rest of 31,1% influenced by other variables not examined in this research.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the effects arising from the celebrity endorser and sales promotions on brand advantage and its influence on purchase intention from Yamaha Mio motorcycles. The variables used in this study is celebrity endorser and sales promotion as an independent variable, then the brand advantage as an intervening variable and purchase intention as the dependent variable.The sample in this study were 200 respondents that came from residents in the city of Semarang, spread from the North to the South Semarang which recognize Yamaha motorcycles. The method used is accidental sampling by distributing questionnaires to the respondents. In this study developed a theoretical model to propose five hypotheses to be tested using analysis tools Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) which is operated through a program AMOS 20.0Based on the research of data processing SEM for full model has met the criteria of goodness of fit as follows, the value of chi-square = 86.719; probability = 0.099; RMSEA = 0.033; CMIN / DF = 1.221; GFI = 0.939; AGFI = 0.910; TLI = 0.988; CFI = 0.991. With the result that it can be said that this model is feasible to be used. The results showed that the purchase intention can be improved by increasing sales promotions affect the brand advantage as a determinant of success increase purchase intention.

Abstract

In a tight business competition, supply chain management (SCM) plays a significant role in supporting business performance. This study aims to analyze the effect of supply chain management on business performance. Three dimensions of SCM: relationship with customers, relationship with suppliers, and human capital were investigated in this study.Population of this study is traditional snack and soft drink wholesalers in Kabupaten Banyumas. As many as 125 respondents, who have been in the business for at least one year, were selected as a sample. Data was analyzed using Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) and processed applying AMOS 22 as an analytical tool.Findings of the study shows that relationship with costumers as well as with suppliers and human capital have positive and significant effects on competitive advantage. Likewise, competitive advantage was found to have a positive and significant effect on business performance.This study reveals that traditional snack and soft drink wholesalers in Kabupaten Banyumas might improve their business performance by applying supply chain management.

Abstract

The research was conducted in PT.KAI Daop IV Semarang, the government-owned services company, formerly known as low standard employee performance. This is reflected in some indicator like ticket scalpers, either at the station Poncol and Tawang, lack of  service, ticketing is less representative, lack of employee commitment to serving customers, work culture is individualistic in office, lack of employment initiatives, train tardiness, rail safety and security as well as poor. Here are some of the obstacles encountered in the PT.KAI  employees to improve performance.This study aimed to determine the effect of transformational leadership and motivation on employee performance. The sample of this research is 82 respondents employees of PT. KAI DAOP IV Semarang. Data analysis was performed using multiple linear regression, t test, F test, and adjusted R².Based on the analysis concluded that transformational leadership and motivational variables may affect the performance of the variable employee at PT KAI Daop IV Semarang. Formed regression equation is: Y = 0.515X1 + 0.473 X2. Based on the analysis of data on 82 of the respondents, on the performance of employees in PT.KAI Daop IV Semarang, can be summed up as follows: Variable of transformational leadership can affect the performance of employees at PT KAI Daop IV Semarang. The better the implementation of transformational leadership results in improved employee performance. Motivational variables may affect the variable performance of employees at PT. KAI Daop IV Semarang. It is characterized by the presence of the positive effect of motivation on employee performance variables. The higher the motivation given to employees resulting in higher employee performance.

Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Purwokerto which is increasing is certainly very good, but it must also be balanced with good business performance. Then, it turns out that behind the increase there are eight problems that are often faced by MSMEs two of which are the low mastery and use of technology and narrow networks. This study aims to analyze the influence of network, Information dan Communication Technology (ICT), and innovation on competitive advantage and business performance. The population in this study is the owner of MSMEs in Purwokerto. The number of samples used was 100 respondents whose business has been established for more than one year. This research uses SEM analysis technique with AMOS 23. The results of this study show that network, ICT, and innovation have positive and significant effect on competitive advantge. Then, network, ICT, and innovation have positive and significant effect on business performance. Innovation have largest total influence and direct influence on competitive advantage. ICT have largest total influence and direct influence on business performance. Network is the second largest total influence and direct influence on business performance. Then, innovation have the largest indirect effect on business performance.

Abstract

Marketing is growing rapidly and understand consumer behavior become one of the success strategies in marketing the product. Produce a product that consumers want will streamline marketing activities, through understanding consumer behavior will be obtained information on how consumers develop a number of alternatives in the interest of using the services again. This information will be the focus of marketing activities for product design, pricing, promotion mix, distribution to the service system in accordance with the consumer through  the behavior shown. The aim in this study was to analyze the influence of the perception of price and quality of service to customer satisfaction and to analyze the influence of the perception of price, service quality and customer satisfaction on buying interest again. The population in this study is the beauty of the service users home Sifra in Pati, with a total sample of 75 respondents. The sampling technique is acidental Sampling. The type of data used are primary data with questionnaires and secondary data with literature. The analytical tool used is the path analisys. Results from this study are: the perception of price and service quality effect on customer satisfaction, perception of price, quality of service and customer satisfaction influence on buying interest again. Customer satisfaction is an intervening variable between perceptions influence the price and quality of service to re buying interest.

Abstract

KSPPS TAZAKKA Bojong is one of sharia financial services cooperatives (KJKS) which was established in Bojong District, Pekalongan Regency. The growing number of cooperatives nowadays in Bojong sub-district has made the competition tighter so that the growth target of customers is not achieved and there is a decrease in the financing partners. One way to win the competition is by improving the quality of service continuously to fit the expectations of costumers. This study discusses the application of Quality Function Deployment (QFD), which aims to determine customers’ needs so that each functional area and organization / company level can act towards existing functional services.Data in this research was collected by survey method with questionnaire tool to KSPPS TAZAKKA Bojong manager and 50 cooperative customers as respondents. This Study applied  method used is the Quality Function Development (QFD) Method.The research showed the priority scale of customer requirements that should be prioritized in the improvement of the service that is the customer requirements of the company's credibility and reputation of the company. This research also showed the sequence of technical attributes of KSPPS TAZAKKA Bojong in order to satisfy the customer that si The technical attribute of routine briefing for excellent service obtained from the calculation of absolute weight and relative weight.

Abstract

Problems related to banking in Indonesia today is the problem of liquidity. It is shown from a commercial bank credit grew 23.03% but not matched by growth in deposits which only reached 16.56% in 2012 (Report of Banking Supervision, 2012). Therefore, this study aims to determine the liquidity creation in Indonesia as well as to analyze the influence of bank capital, credit risk and income instability towards liquidity creation. The samples includes 10 major banks in Indonesia with total assets of more than Rp120billion  in 2013. The reason for choosing this sample because of the 10 largest banks reflects the state of the banks in Indonesia which accounted for 65.2% of total assets, 65.6% of total loans, and 66% of total deposits or deposits in the banking industry (PEFINDO, 2014). The results of this research note that the bank's capital and earnings volatility is significant negative effect on liquidity creation. While the credit risk of a negative but insignificant effect on liquidity creation. In the determination coefficient test showed that 43.6% dependent variable is the liquidity creation can be explained by the independent variable is the capital of banks, credit risk and earnings volatility. While 56.4% is explained by other variables outside the model of this study.
