Abstract

The development of textile industry and fashion in Indonesia is rapidly increasing which caused fierce competition between businesses. This can be seen from the decline in sales sarong Gajah Duduk. Sarong Gajah Duduk is a pre-eminent sarong brand of PT.Pismatex pekalongan.Sarong Gajah Duduk it is first time marketed in 1972. This research was conducted to  analyze  the  effect  of  brand  image,  quality,  price  perpection  and  product  variation  on purchase intention of Sarong Gajah Duduk  product located in Pekalongan.Data collection technique used in this study are questionnaire. Sampling technique used is purposive sampling technique by convenience sampling which is choosing respondents who by chance met the researcher. Respondents of this research as many as 100 people. To analyze the impact of independent variables on dependent variable, multiple linier regression analysis is used.The result of this study showed that brand image have a negative effect on purchase intention (first hypothesis rejecte. The second hypothesis which state that quality have a positive impact on purchase intention is accepted as well. The third hypothesis which state that price perpection have a positive effect on purchase intention is accepted and the fourth hypothesis which state that product variation have a positive effect on purchase intention is accepted. The coefficient of determination test result stated that all four independent variables have an 40,7% on purchase intention.

Abstract

Management of railway transportation not only focuses on services and income earned, but also the proper management of human resources. Human resources is an important factor in the success of a company achieve its goals. The success of a company is of course determined by the performance of its employees. Employee performance is strongly influenced by the role of the leader of the transformational leadership style within the company that can inspire employees and who can match its objectives with employee values. Compatibility of individual behavior with organizational culture that is applied to determine the individual's career in the future. The research is also based on the research gap found in previous research between Raed Awamleh (2005), Sapna Rijal (2010) and Ni Made Ria Satyawati & I Wayan Suartana (2014). The purpose of this research is to explain the effect of transformational leadership style and organizational culture on employee performance.The data in this study were collected through a questionnaire distributed to 70 employees in PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) DAOP IV Semarang. Mechanical testing of the data used in this study include testing instrument, the classical assumption test, multiple linear regression analysis, test T-test, test F and test the coefficient of determination (R2) with the application of SPSS 17.0.The results showed that transformational leadership style and organizational culture has a positive and significant impact on employee performance. This shows the variables of transformational leadership style and organizational culture capable of improving the performance of employees at PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) DAOP IV Semarang.

Abstract

This research  motivated by the decreasing performace level of teachers at  Vocational High School Bina Patria 2 Sukoharjo by showed a decreasing. Because the result of pre-survey showed decrease teachers performance by the compensation and leadership issues. The purpose of this research is to determine the influence of compensation and  and  leadership through to performance of Vocational Hight School Bina Patria 2 Sukoharjo  teachers. Data was collected by using questionnares to 51 employees with sensus sampling method. The techniques of data analysis in this research includes the test of validity, reliability, classical assumptions and multiple regression.The results showing that compensation have positive and significant effect on teachers performance, leadership have positive and significant effect on teachers performance. Based the result, then the recommendation for the school to increase and pay attention on compensating and leadership applied there.

Abstract

Quality of services is consumer response to consumed services. Good or poor quality of service depends on the ability of the companies to meet customer expectations consistently. If it applied correctly, quality of service will create customer satisfaction toward to the services.The goals of this research to know an influence of the five dimensions of service quality that are reliability, responsiveness, assurance, emphaty, and tangibles to customer satisfaction in using service. This research gets primary data using questionnaires from PT Fatimah Zahra Semarang during 2010-2012.The Results of multiple regression analysis is Y = 0.243X1 + 0.367X2 + 0.157X3 +  0.221X4 +  0.182X5 .  The  most  influential  variable  of  independent  variables  is responsiveness with (β = 0.367). The next sequence are reliability (β = 0.243); emphaty (β = 0,221); tangibles (β = 0.182), and the last is assurance (β = 0,157). T test result proved that all independent variable (reliability, responsiveness, assurance, emphaty, and tangibles) have a positive influence on the dependent variable, customer satisfaction. The determinant coefficient adjusted R2  is 0,731, means   73,1% of customer satisfaction is affected by the variable reliability, responsiveness, assurance, emphaty, and tangibles. The balance of 26,9% is affected by other variable

Abstract

Customers repurchase intention is a crucial factor and determines how an e-commerce maintaining the customer in the middle of the e-commerce competition, so the company must be able to maintain and improve the factors that affect customers repurchase intention to gain the interest of customers in the middle of the e-commerce competition in IndonesiaThis research used an e-commerce startup Elevenia as the research object. The purpose of this research is to examine how the website and information quality, online trust and sales promotion influence repurchase intention by using the online customer experience as an intervening variable. The samples was collected by distributing questionnaires to 100 respondents who has an online purchasing experience at Elevenia and resided in the city of Semarangwhich were then analyzed using multiple linear regression methods with the tests carried out, validity test, reliability test, classic assumption test, coefficient of determination test, F test, test T, and the sobel test to find out the mediating effect.The results of this research showed that the website and information quality have a positive and significant effect on online customer experience), then online trust and sales promotion have a significant and positive influence on repurchase intention, and the results of the test of sobel showed, the online customer experience worthy to be used as an intervening variable.

Abstract

Employees play important role in running the company; almost all of the companies deem their respective employees as a part of competitive advantage. A company would highly expect to have employees with best behaviour as well as the ability to finish the entrusted tasks in excess of what is actually required. To put it simply, they are the employees who display extra-role behaviors which is often called as Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB). Without the existence of OCB, the company would be brittle and thus is in high risk to lose in the tight competition. This research is aimed to determine the direct, indirect, and total effects of organizational justice, job satisfaction, and organizational commitment on Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) in a sample drawn from 71 employees of PT PLN Persero Distribusi Jawa Tengah dan DIY by spreading the questionnaires. The analytical method used on this research is path analysis with SPSS. Data analysis technique used consist of the value of index, validity and reliability test, classic assumption test, hypothesis testing by the determinant coefficient, F-test and T-test. The result of this research shows that organizational justice, job satisfaction, and organizational commitment have significant and positive effect on OCB, partially and simultaneously. Organizational Commitment has the biggest direct effects. The coefficient of determination shows that OCB of the employees in PT PLN Persero Distribusi Jawa Tengah dan DIY is 67,01% affected by organizational justice, job satisfaction, and organizational commitment. The other 32,99% is determined by other variables and error. Based on path analysis it is found out that job satisfaction and organizational commitment both hold a good role and significant as a mediator of organizational justice on OCB.

Abstract

This research purposes to indentify the main factors influencing firm value that proxied by Price Book Value (PBV) especially in manufacturing companies sector listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange (IDX) during period 2010-2015.The population of this research consists of manufacturing companies listed on the IDX period 2010-2015. This research used secondary data anda used purposive sampling method in determining the sample. The total of sample in this case are 50 companies. Multiple regression is used as the analysis technique in this research.The study documents the positive significant of financial performance, firm size, dividend policy and proportion of independent commissioner on firm value. While the disclosure of corporate social responsibility and insider ownership found influental positive but insignificant to firm value.

Abstract

This  study  aims  to  determine  how  much  influence  the  product,  price,  location,  andpromotion to the buying decision that can build customer satisfaction in stores Essy's Brownies Semarang. This study uses four independent variables are product, price, location, and promotion, customer satisfaction as the dependent variable and the purchase decision as an intervening variable. The population used in this study is that consumers who had visited the shop Essy's Brownies Semarang. This research method using a non-probability sampling technique with accidental sampling method. Used as a sample of 160 respondents. Data obtained from the questionnaires were then processed and analyzed using multiple regression analysis and analysis of SEM (Structural Equation Modeling) through the AMOS program. The results showed that the product has a positive influence on purchasing decisions; price has a positive influence on purchasing decisions; location  has a positive  influence on purchasing decision; promotion has a positive influence on purchasing decisions; and purchasing decisions have a positive effect on customer satisfaction.

Abstract

This study aims to demonstrate the factors that influence online shopping decisions. By looking at previous studies, it was concluded there is the attractiveness of the website design, vendor reputation and perceived ease of transaction as factors affecting purchasing decisions online. To better understand these factors in influencing purchase decisions online, this study used the intervening variable customer's perception of value       This study takes the basic concept of TAM. Then modified according to the variables that have a relationship with online purchasing decisions. The study found that the vendor 's reputation and perceived ease of transactions has a direct influence on purchase decisions online. While the attractiveness of the website design is only indirectly influenced by the perception of customer value . Furthermore , the reputation of the vendor does not have an indirect effect through the customer's perception of value . So that only the perceived ease of transactions that have direct and indirect influence on purchasing decisions online through an intervening variable perceived customer value.

Abstract

In a business activity the role of leaders and employees is very influential in achievingthe company's vision and mission, almost all activities in the company involve the role of employees in it. The factor of human resources is an important factor in the development of the company. This research will discuss implementation of Islamic values in the understanding of employees which has an impact on improving employee performance, especially in Sharia Cooperatives.The purpose of this study is to describe the response of employees and leaders to the performance of KSPPS Hudatama employees and analyzing the extent to which employees and leaders understand the values of Islam KSPPS Hudatama.The method used is qualitative method with   case study approach. The reason for selecting these method is so that research can be focused and can be done in depth to find out employees' understanding of working in accordance with Islamic values KSPPS Hudatama and impact on employee performance. From the research results showed that improving  employee  performance  is  not  only  proven  through  numerical  productivity growth reports only but also can shape the behavior of its employees in accordance with Islamic values KSPPS Hudatama. The increase in employee performance was also assisted by the employee training held by KSPPS Hudatama.
