Abstract

The frequently change of banking situation causing the fluctuation of commercial bank’s time deposit interest rate in Indonesia. The purpose of this study is to analyze the effects of Inflation, Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), Return On Asset (ROA,) and Loan to Deposit Ratio (LDR) toward Time Deposit Interest Rate of Commercial Bank in Indonesia. The interest rate was showed how much return will be the number of fund has believed by investor or customer for the concerned bank. So,important for the banks to will be analyzed the factors to determined interest rate targeted match with condition of banking and state of economy.Population of this study is all of commercial bank in indonesia. There are 119 bank that were included. The sample determining method to be used is census method, where the number of sample is equal to the number of population. The data in this study is secondary data that is inflation rate and commercial bank financial performance on 2010 – 2014 obtained from Indonesian Monetary Economic Statistics (SEKI) and Indonesian Banking Statistics (SPI) that had been published by Bank Indonesia. Analysis technique used is analyzed multiple linear regression and the hypothesis testing with use F test and t test. Others also done a classic assumption test covering normality test, multicolinierity test, heteroscedastisity test and autocorrelation test. Conclusion from this research describe that statistical result of Inflation variable show positive and doesn’t have significant influence towards Time Deposit interest determination, CAR variable show positive and doesn’t have significant influence towards Time Deposit interest determination, ROA variable show negative and doesn’t have significant influance towards on Time Deposit interest determination, and, LDR variable show positive and significant influence towards Time Deposit interest determination. Adjusted R2 value on this research is 0,350, this mean that 35% of interest variable could be explained by independent variables Inflation, CAR, ROA, and LDR and 65% remnant of these explained by variables outside not listed in the formula.

Abstract

The  problems  that  occur  are  a  decrease  in  the  number  of  users  of  Mozilla  Firefox.  It  is characterized by the number of users of other web browsers are increased each month followed by a decline in the number of users of Mozilla Firefox, this indicates that there is a decrease in the user's decision to use back Mozilla Firefox. This study aimed to analyze the influence of brand image and perceived usefulness to the brand attitude and repurchase the decision Mozilla Firefox. The population used in this study are all users of Mozilla Firefox browser in Semarang. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. Criteria samples taken is the Mozilla Firefox browser in Semarang who have used more than one month as many as 385 users Mozilla Firefox browser in Semarang. Methods of data collection in this study using questionnaires and interviews. Methods of data analysis using path analysis. Based on this research, brand image and perceived usefulness has a positive influence on brand attitude, brand image and brand attitude has a positive effect on repurchase decision, while perceived usefulness repurchase does not affect the decision. Based on the results Sobel Test note that mediates the effect of brand attitude and brand image perceived usefulness of the repurchase decision.

Abstract

This research was conducted in  the  Faculty of  Economics and Business, DiponegoroUniversity. The objective is to find out and analyze the students motivations to join the intra- campus organization. Moreover, this study also aims to discover and analyze the perception of students related to student organization as a means of softskill development.Participants of research were choosed by using   purposive sampling method and five students  were  active  in  student  organization  and  five  students  were  not  active  in  studentorganization. This study used qualitative methods in data collection and analysis.The  result  of  this  study  stated that  according to  the  five  intrinsic motivation factors consisting of goal, talent, intelligence, perspective, and interest, that perspective factor become the fundamental factor to influence student in order to join the intra-campus organization. Whereas, extrinsic motivation factors are consist of family, school, and society, school is the fundamental factors which influence student in order to join the intra-campus organization

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the influence of security, ease of transaction, consumer confidence and the shopping experience to the online buying interest in tokopedia.com. This study uses a questionnaire distributed to a sample of 100 respondents were divided into two (2) groups based on residence between Semarang with outside Semarang, non probability sampling. The sampling technique is using purposive sampling, because the researchers used intentionally separate consideration in choosing members of the population are considered to be appropriate in providing the information needed for research.Based on the analysis that has been done, can present some research findings are: 1) the variable perception of safety (X1) the greatest positive effect on the variable interest purchase online at tokopedia.com; 2) perception of ease (X2) the third largest positive effect on the variable interest purchase online at tokopedia.com (Y); 3) the perception of trust (X3) the second largest positive effect on the variable interest purchase online at tokopedia.com (Y), and 4) the perception of the experience (X4) has no effect on the variable interest purchase online at tokopedia.com (Y) .

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of organizational culture and organizational support toward organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) with organizational commitment as an intervenning variable. The result’s differences among past researches and the upgrade of the law no. 38 of 2009 relating to the postal matter indicate the need to improve the performance and the quality of human resources of PT. Pos Indonesia Semarang.  This study uses two independent variables and one intervenning variable. This study aims to examine and analyze the effect of organizational culture and organizational support on organizational citizenship behavior (OCB), with organizational commitment as intervening variable.Data collection methods used in this study are questionnaires using census method, with the respondents of all the employees from the delivery section of PT. Pos Indonesia (Persero) Central Processing Unit Semarang, and the statistical analysis by using SPSS. This study uses data analysis methods include validity test, reliability test, classic assumption test, multiple linear regression analysis, path analysis, sobel test, coefficient determination test, F test and t test.The result show that the effect value of organizational culture and organizational support  toward organizational citizenship behavior with organizational commitment as intervening variable equal to  48,64% While 31,16% is explained by the factors out of the variable. From the result of Multiple Regression Analysis analysis of organizational culture and organizational support have a positive impact toward organizational commitment and organizational culture, organizational support and organizational commitment have a positive impact toward organizational citizenship behavior.

Abstract

As a publishing and printing company, the main raw material of CV Aneka Ilmu is the paper that used to print and to be made into a book or other products. In carrying out inventories of raw materials, the challenges faced by CV Aneka Ilmu is the storage of inventory control that the raw materials are not stored too big, that can caused the risks to damaged, obsolescences, and the loss of raw materials, as well as maintenance costs become higher and needs to be handle more. This study examines the raw material inventory control in the company, by comparing the two systems inventory. The purpose of this study was to compare the inventory system that has been carried out by CV Aneka Ilmu Semarang with two other inventory systems. The systems to be compared is Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) and  Just in Time (JIT), by comparing total inventory costs of each system to determine which of the systems that has the most efficient cost. The results indicate the best possibility for decision making in inventory system to CV Aneka Ilmu Semarang. The conclusion from this study that EOQ and JIT systems both more efficient in inventory cost compared to the company inventory sistem. But JIT system has cost efficiency level higher than EOQ system. In the inventory demand level of 1.550.530 rim, the company inventory sistem generates inventory cost by Rp 27.588.181,- compared to JIT that only has inventory cost by Rp 4.362.074.42,-, and can save costs about Rp 23.226.106,58,- or 84,19%. In this study also assumed there is tolerance (for damage, defect, and loss ) equal to 4% of the demand level was for 1.550.530 rim, become 1.612.551,2 rim. On the inventory demand level of 1.612.551,2 rim, both EOQ and JIT systems also more efficient in inventory cost compared to the company inventory system, but JIT system also more efficient compared to EOQ system. JIT system produce inventory cost amount Rp 4.471.288,079,- compared to company’s which is Rp 28.278.908,81,-. And with this JIT system can save up to Rp 23.807.620,73,- or 84,19% more efficient than company’s inventory cost.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR),  Loan to Deposit Ratio (LDR), Non Performing Loan (NPL), Operating Expenses Operating Income (BOPO), and Company Size (Size) on profitability of conventional commercial banks in Indonesia which proxied by Return On Assets (ROA).The population in this study is the commercial bank that listed in the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) since 2010 until 2015. This research use purposive sampling with the following criteria: a bank has complete published reports in 2010-2015 and hasn’t negative ROA. The samples in this study were 25 commercial banks. This study uses data obtained from Annual Financial Report issued by banks in the Publication Financial Statements Financial Services Authority (FSA). The analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis. Before using multiple linear regression analysis, performed classical assumption first.From the results of simultaneous hypothesis test (F test) showed that the CAR, LDR, NPL, BOPO, and Size had a significant effect on ROA with a significance level of 0.000. While based on the partial hypothesis test (t test) showed that the CAR had significant positive effect on ROA, BOPO had significant negative effect on ROA, while the LDR, NPL and Size had no significant effect on ROA. The results showed that variable BOPO had the biggest effect on ROA. The result of the degree of determination (Adjusted R Square) in the regression model is equal to 0.783. This shows that the effect of the independent variables, namely CAR, LDR, NPL, BOPO and Size to the dependent variable (ROA) is 78.3% while the remaining 21.7% is effected by other factors which were not explained in this research.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of CAR, NPL, LDR to NIM with ROA as Intervening variabel, the influence of BOPO and ROA to NIM, and the influence of NPL to NIM with CAR and ROA as Intervening Variable.The analysis method of this research is Path Analysis and Sobel Test. Total sample of this research is 23 commercial banks, which is obtain through purposive sampling. The data obtained from the official website of Otoritas Jasa Keuangan.The result of this research shows: NPL has negatif and not significant effect on CAR and  has negatif and significant effect on ROA, however has negatif and significant effect on NIM. ROA significantly mediatin NPL to NIM. CAR has positive and not significant effect on ROA, and has positive and significant effect on NIM. LDR has positive and not significant effect on ROA, and positive and significant effect on NIM. ROA significantly mediating LDR to NIM. BOPO and ROA has positive and significant effect on NIM.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the intense of Tablet PC competition in market with more popping up a variety of new brand, or old brand that continues to innovate with different offers and strategies to attract customers to be a market leader in Tablet PC market. This is impacting on the acquisition of brand value, brand share, potential gain index in the future, and the index of consumer satisfaction on iPad. This study aims to test the influence of brand equity elements which consist of Brand Awareness, Brand Association, Perceived Quality, and Brand Loyalty to the Purchasing Decision on iPad.            After performing study of literature review and developing hypothesis, the data was collected by questionnaire method toward 100 persons iPad users in Semarang City, which obtained by using accidental sampling method. Then, we performed quantitative and qualitative analyses of the data will be tested. A quantitative analysis consist of Validity Test, Reliability Test, The Classic Assumption Test, Multiple Regression Analysis, Goodness of Fit Test that includes Analysis of Coefficient of Determination (R2), the F Test, and the t Test. Qualitative analysis is an interpretation of the data collected in this study, and result of data processing that have been implemented with a description and explanation.            Then data were processed using SPSS (Statistical Package for Social Science) for Windows version 21 in a quantitative analysis that produced the regression equation as follows:                        Y = 0,141 X1 + 0,290 X2 + 0,300 X3 + 0,202 X4            Which is the Purchasing Decision variable (Y), Brand Awareness (X1), Brand Association (X2), Perceived Quality (X3), Brand Loyalty (X4). Hypotheses testing using the F Test can be known that fourth independent variable get a well-deserved to test Purchase Decision as the dependent variable. Then through the t Test showed that the four independent variables that studied have positive and proved significantly to influence the Purchase Decision. Meanwhile, the acquisition rate of 0,715 on the Adjusted R Square indicated that 71,5% of Purchase Decisions variation can be explained by the variation of the four independent variables in the regression equation. Whereas 28,5% as the rest of it was explained by other variables outside of the four variables used in this study.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to examine the effects of Capital Adequacy Ratio, Net Interest Margin, Loan to Deposit Ratio, Operating Cost, Size and Third Party Funds on commercial banks profitability (ROA). This research uses data from the annual report published by banks, taken from Bloomberg and the official website of Indonesian Stock Exchange. Uses the purposive sampling method, samples for this research are 17 commercial banks with the amount of assets above 35 trillion. Data analysis method used in this research is multiple linear regression with panel data with significance level 5%. The result showed that CAR has negative relation and doesn’t significantly influences towards ROA. NIM has positive relation and significantly influence towards ROA. LDR and Operating Cost have negative relation and significantly influences towards ROA. Size and Third Party Funds have positive relation but don’t significantly influences to ROA. In this research, ROA could be explained by independent variables 72.8% whereas the rest explained by other variables which were not explained in this research.
