Abstract

The success of a company rely to human who carry out the work so that the success of an organization is strongly influenced by the performance of individual employees. BRI Branch Pandanaran Semarang is a company engaged in banking, especially those serving the provision of capital. In the operation of the activity BRI Branch Office Semarang Pandanaran always emphasize to all human resources to achieve good performance. Problems that occur in the PT. Bank Rakyat Indonesia, Tbk. The new branch will Pandanaran today is a decrease in employee performance evaluation of the results of employee performance objectives that are not in accordance with predetermined targets. Allegedly justice will affect the performance of the employee compensation with intrinsic work motivation as an intervening variable.The independent variables used is compensation, an intervening variable is the motivation and the dependent variable is the performance. The sample used in this study as many as 57 employees of PT. Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk. Branch Semarang Pandanaran using proportional random sampling technique. The data used is primary data by questionnaire. The analysis technique used is the linear regression and test the mediating effect.Based on the results of the analysis can know that compensation and significant positive effect on employee performance. Compensation indirect effect on employee performance through motivation to work, so it can be concluded that the work motivation becomes a variable that mediates between equity compensation on employee performance.

Abstract

There is a research gap in previous studies between the influence of compensation on job satisfaction and employee loyalty, and the influence between the physical work environment on job satisfaction and employee loyalty. So that research aims to determine the influence of compensation and physichal work environment towards employee loyalty that mediated by job satisfaction at Office Directors of PT Perkebunan Nusantara IX Divisi Tanaman Tahunan Semarang.The sampling method used on this research is proportional random sampling. Data was collected through questionnares to 60 respondents who are employees at Office Directors of PT Perkebunan Nusantara IX Divisi Tanaman Tahunan Semarang. The techniques of data analysis in this research includes the test of validiy, reliability, classical assumptions test, path analysis, Sobel test to examine the mediation effect, and hypothesis test.The results of analysis and discussion indicates that compensation and job satisfaction had positive and significant effect on employee loyalty. While physical work environment has no significant effect on employee loyalty. Furthermore, job satisfaction is proven as mediator relathionship between compensation and physical work environment on employee loyalty.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the research gap from previous studies where there is difference result between on study with other studies. This study aimes to analyze the effect of transformational leadership style and compensation to employees satisfaction PT. Hymsa Indotraco Cirebon.The population used in this study were all employees of PT. Hymsa Indotraco numbering 125 people. Based on the calculation formula Slovin, the samples were determined by 95 people. The sampling technique was conducted by the method of proportionate stratified random sampling. The analytical method used is multiple regression analysis. The results of a study reported regression equation as follows: Job Satisfaction = 0,382X1 + 0,376X2.Based on the test instrument, the indicators are valid and reliable. In the classical assumption, there are no symptoms multicoloniarity, does not occur heterocedastity, and normal distribution of data. The coefficient of determination shows the figure of 0,478 which means that the variables of job satisfaction is influenced by variables of transformational leadership style and compensation amounting to 47,3 %. The results showed that transformational leadership style and compensation positive and significant impact on job satisfaction of employees of PT . Hymsa Indotraco Cirebon either partially or simultaneously.

Abstract

This research is about analyze the effect of capital (Capital Adequacy Ratio), distribution of funds (Loan to Deposit Ratio), income diversification (HHIDIV), Net Interest Margin, and credit risk (Non Performing Loan) to Financial Performance with Proxy Profitability (ROA) . Population used object in this research is Private National Bank both Foreign Exchange and Non Foreign Exchange listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) period 2012-2015.The financial performance proxied by ROA at National Private Banks decreased during the research period, then the variables that were suspected to be factors affecting ROA had an inconsistent influence. In this study using the dependent variable is ROA while the independent variables used are CAR, LDR, HHIDIV, NIM and NPL. The method of analysis in this study using multiple linear regression using SPSS21.The result of the research shows that NIM and NPL have significant influence to financial performance of BUSN, NIM has positive and significant influence to financial performance of BUSN (ROA), while credit risk (NPL) has a negative and significant effect to financial performance of BUSN (ROA). Then the CAR, LDR and HHIDIV variables have no significant effect on the financial performance of BUSN (ROA). The predicted ability of these five independent variables on ROA in this study amounted to 50.7% while the remaining 49.3% influenced by other variables not included in this study.

Abstract

Purchasing decision is a decision as an act of ownership of two or more alternative choices. Many factors can influence the purchasing decisions of consumers to a product, such as brand awareness, brand associations and quality perception. Consumer purchasing decisions can be made to the number of products, one of which is a prepaid card IM3. The selected object is a product of cellular IM3 Indosat card ranked as the market share is still IM3 prepaid cards under other brands that sympathy and the percentage decline in market share occurred in 2009-2011.The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of brand awareness, brand associations and quality perception on purchase decisions.The population in this study were students of Economics and Business Undip S1, Jl. Tembalang, Semarang using Prepaid Card IM3. Samples taken 100 respondents. Sampling technique in this study was done by using simple random sampling. Is the primary data type. Methods of data collection using questionnaires. The analysis technique used is multiple regression.Results of analysis using SPSS Version 13 showed that brand awareness significantly influence the purchase decision. Brand associations have a significant effect on purchasing decisions. Perceived quality significantly influence the purchase decision. Therefore, the implications suggested in this study is Indosat should be developing a wider 3G network and expand the network in the cities that exist in the area, although it is done in stages. Make the size larger image and slogan slogan more attractive for consumers interested in having. By adding power to the BTS (Base Transceiver Station) so that it can be strengthened in receiving and distributing signals.

Abstract

The current retail business especially in clothing boutiques, is increasingly causing intense competition among boutique owners. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of service quality, product attributes and store location to customer satisfaction and its impact on repurchase intention at Stage My Fashion boutique.This research uses non probability sampling technique with purposive sampling method. The samples in this study were 150 respondents. The population of the study was all consumers who had ever done purchase transaction at Stage My Fashion boutique. The method of collecting data through questionnaires. This study uses analytical techniques of Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with AMOS 22.0 as the analysis instrument. The results of this study indicate that product attributes, store location, service quality has a positive and significant impact on customer satisfaction, customer satisfaction also have a positive and significant effect on the repurchase intention.

Abstract

Compensation and training is directly related to the employee's performance. Compensation and training obtained by the employees can degrade performance or improve employee performance. Employees who receive compensation in accordance with what he hoped would directly improve the performance he had, as well as the training provided, in accordance with the job training will enhance the ability of the employee, so that the performance possessed will also increase.This research was conducted at PT. Audio Sumitomo Technology (AST) Indonesia. This study aims to determine the effect of training and compensation moderated by job satisfaction on employee performance. The number of samples is set as much as 79 respondents using purposive sampling method. As independent variables, namely compensation and training, and the moderating variable is job satisfaction, while the dependent variable is the performance of employees. The analysis includes the validity, reliability, classic assumption test, models test, hypothesis testing, path analysis, and Sobel test.From the analysis it can be seen that the variable compensation and training had positive effect on employee performance, and job satisfaction moderating variable compensation and training on employee performance. Results of analysis using the coefficient of determination is known that 99.8 percent of the employee's performance can be explained by the independent variable and the moderating variables were examined in this study and 0.2 percent is explained by other factors outside the model.

Abstract

The  values  of  Return  on  Equity,  Firm  Size,  Free  Cash  Flow,  Investment Opportunity Set, and Debt Ratio in manufacturing companies fluctuate annually during the research period. The fluctuation is the opposite of the increase on Dividend Payout Ratio during the year of 2011 to 2014. Due to the said phenomena gap, this research aims to test the effect of ROE, firm size, free cash flow, investment opportunity set, and debt ratio of dividend payout ratio of Manufacturing Companies listed on IDX during the period of 2011-2014.The sample employed  in  this  research selected  by purposive sampling  method which contains of 22 companies fitting the criteria set during the period of 2011-2014. The data is obtained based on the published annual report and financial report. The method of analysis employed is regression with least squares equation and the hypothesis is tested by using t-statistic to reveal partial regression coefficient as well as F-statistic to test the simultaneous effect with confidence level at 5%.The result reveals partial result that free cash flow affect DPR positively and significantly. ROE, firm size, and investment opportunity set affect positively but non- significantly on DPR. Meanwhile, Debt Ratio affect negatively and non-significantly on DPR. Simultaneously, ROE, firm size, free cash flow, investment opportunity set, and debt ratio affect DPR significantly. The result of regression estimation reveals the prediction competence from the 5 independent variable on DPR is at 11.9% meanwhile the other 88.1% is affected by other factors which are not included in this research.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the extent to which a bengkel jaya makmur motor heyday in providing the best quality service to its customers through service performance variables are influenced by variables of market orientation and competitive strategy that will have an impact on competitive advantage. Seeing the number of customer complaints phenomenon that appears to care less than the maximum, then the study was conducted to analyze how to improve the service performance through increased market orientation and competitive strategies that have an impact on competitive advantage to the company.Methods of data collection for this study through questionnaires using purposive sampling method. Respondents for this study are customers who use the services of a bengkel jaya makmur motor in Purwodadi Grobogan who have used the service fees as much as 2 times, totaling 60 people with the criteria of a minimum age of 16 years and maximum 55 years. Data analysis tool used is multiple regression which first tested the validity and reliability, classical assumption, hypothesis testing via t-test, F and coefficient of determination (R2)From the analysis using multiple regression can be seen that the market orientation variable (X1) and competitive strategy (X2) together significantly influence service performance variables (Y1) and subsequent market orientation variables (X1), competitive strategy (X2) and performance services (Y1) jointly significant effect on competitive advantage (Y2). And from this study also found that the variable performance of services (Y2) in mediating the effect of market orientation (X1) with a competitive advantage (Y2) and competitive strategy (X2) with a competitive advantage (Y2).

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of bank size, loan to deposit ratio (LDR), bank inefficiency, credit growth, and capital adequacy ratio (CAR) to credit risk that measured by non performing loan (NPL). Case study on conventional commercial banks listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in 2010-2014. The number of sample used in this research were 30 banks. The data used were obtained from financial statements and banking annual report published by Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2010-2014. The analytical method used in this research is Multiple Linear Regression Analysis where previously performed classical assumption that includes Normality Test, Multicollinearity Test, Autocorrelation Test, and Heteroskedastisitas Test. Based on the results of tests performed, bank size, loan to deposit ratio (LDR), bank efficiency, credit growth, and capital adequacy ratio (CAR) have significant effect on non-performing loans (NPL). Bank size, loan to deposit ratio (LDR), bank inefficiency, and credit growth have positive impact on non-performing loans (NPL). While capital adequacy ratio (CAR) have negative but not significant impact on non-performing loans (NPL). Based on the coefficient determination R2, variable bank size, loan to deposit ratio (LDR), bank inefficiency, credit growth, and capital adequacy ratio (CAR) have 44.2% effect against non-performing loans (NPL). While the remaining 55.8% is influenced by other variables that are not used in this study.An increase in non-performing loans can lead a bank to experience bankruptcy so disrupting economic activity. With the result that mentioned above means the control of the bank internal factors will affect the level of non-performing loans. The results of this study are expected to help banks manage internal factors mainly as bank size, LDR, bank inefficiency, and credit growth must be monitored continuously when increased so as to prevent any non-performing loans.
