Abstract

This study investigates the impact of sales growth, collateralizable assets, investment opportunity set, and managerial ownership on dividend policy among consumer non-cyclical companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) from 2021 to 2023. Using a quantitative approach with panel data regression analysis in STATA version 17, the study analyzes secondary data obtained from 41 purposively selected companies. The findings reveal that the investment opportunity set, measured by the market-to-book value of equity (MBVE), exerts a positive and significant effect on dividend policy. In contrast, sales growth, collateralizable assets, and managerial ownership show no statistically significant effect. The implications are that stability can minimize credit risk, careful management and transparency in profit allocation can reduce agency conflicts, and the level of managerial ownership does not necessarily exert a consistent influence on dividend policy. The study highlights the importance of maintaining strong investment prospects, implementing effective corporarate governance, and making strategic financial decision to support consistent and sustainable dividend distributions.

Abstract

This study is motivated by the declining sales of environmentally friendly products from the beauty brand Mustika Ratu, despite the growing trend in the use of natural and eco-friendly products. The decline is suspected to be influenced by internal factors such as the performance of green product, green price, and green promotion, as well as an external factor, namely social influence. The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of green product, green price, green promotion, and social influence on green purchase intention for Mustika Ratu's Olive Oil product. This research adopts a conclusive descriptive approach with a sample of 220 respondents, consisting of personal care product users aged 18–40 years who are interested in environmentally friendly products. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression. The findings indicate that: (1) green product has a positive and significant effect on green purchase intention of Mustika Ratu's Olive Oil, (2) green price positively and significantly influences green purchase intention, (3) green promotion also shows a positive and significant effect, and (4) social influence has a positive and significant impact on green purchase intention for the product.

Abstract

Good financial management in a person can help achieve financial stability. This study aims to determine and analyze the influence of financial attitudes, perceived ease of use of fintech on financial management behavior, with financial literacy as a mediating variable. This study uses quantitative methods. The sampling technique used is non-probability sampling with purposive sampling, involving 164 respondents. The data in this study were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with the help of SmartPLS 4.1.1.2 software. The results of the study prove that financial attitudes and financial literacy influence financial management behavior using the TPB theory. Then the TAM theory has proven that perceived ease of use also influences financial management behavior and financial literacy. Meanwhile, the TPB theory has not been able to prove that financial attitudes have a positive effect on financial literacy and cannot prove that financial literacy is able to mediate financial attitudes towards financial management behavior. While the TAM theory is able to prove that financial literacy is able to mediate the influence of perceived ease of use of fintech on financial management behavior.

Abstract

PT X is one of the operational regions that plays a vital role in supporting transportation services in Indonesia. Employee performance is a crucial factor in ensuring optimal service delivery. This study aims to examine and explain the influence of knowledge sharing and self-efficacy on employee performance through job satisfaction at PT X. The research employs a quantitative approach with non-probability purposive sampling, involving 40 employees as respondents. Data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with SmartPLS 3.2.9. The results indicate that both knowledge sharing and self-efficacy have a positive and significant influence on job satisfaction. Additionally, self-efficacy directly influences employee performance. However, knowledge sharing does not directly affect employee performance. Furthermore, job satisfaction significantly affects employee performance and mediates the relationship between knowledge sharing and performance. Conversely, job satisfaction does not mediate the influence of self-efficacy on performance. These findings suggest that enhancing job satisfaction can strengthen the positive impact of knowledge sharing on employee performance, while self-efficacy independently contributes to performance outcomes. The study highlights the importance of fostering a collaborative knowledge culture and building employee confidence to improve organizational effectiveness.

Abstract

Competition among companies forces company management to manage finance and corporate governance well in order to avoid the risk of bankruptcy. This study aims to determine the impact of operating cash flow on current liability, operating cash flow on net income, proportion of independent commissioners, the size of board of directors, the size of audit committee, institutional ownership, and management ownership on the likelihood of financial distress in the infrastructure sector during the period from 2019 to 2023. The population in this study includes 67 infrastructure sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). The sample used consists of 33 companies, with a purposive sampling method. The data obtained were analyzed using Stata 17 software with logistic regression analysis. The results of the study indicate that institutional ownership and management ownership have a negative effect on the likelihood of financial distress. Meanwhile, operating cash flow to current liabilities, operating cash flow to net income, independent commissioners, the size of the board of directors, and the size of the audit committee do not affect the likelihood of financial difficulties. Therefore, infrastructure sector companies are advised to pay attention to institutional ownership and management ownership, as both factors influence the likelihood of financial distress. This is due to the monitoring capabilities of institutions and management over the company, enabling them to make appropriate decisions and reduce the risk of financial distress.

Abstract

Globalization has significantly intensified business competition, with multinational corporations emerging as major contenders in increasingly open global markets. This development affects not only competition for consumers but also the competition to attract and retain competent employees with strong work ethics. E-commerce is a sector characterized by high market demand and a substantial contribution to current economic growth. Job seekers’ willingness to join a company is shaped by perceived organizational attractiveness. The study aims to analyze the influence of organizational attractiveness dimensions, including organizational attributes, experiences of responsibility, knowledge of results, and work meaningfulness, on job application intentions at e-commerce companies in Indonesia. A quantitative research method is used by using a survey. Data were collected through a Likert-scale questionnaire distributed online. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling, with 132 respondents. Data analysis was performed using multiple linear regression for hypothesis testing. The results show that organizational attributes, experiences of responsibility, and work meaningfulness have a positive and significant effect on job application intentions at e-commerce companies. In contrast, knowledge of results did not significantly influence job application intentions. This research provides theoretical contributions to the development of the literature on organizational attraction and person–organization fit, as well as practical contributions for e-commerce companies in designing recruitment strategies to build a competitive talent pool.

Abstract

Village food security is a strategic issue that is not only related to fulfilling the basic needs of the community but is also closely linked to local economic independence. Village Owned Enterprises (BUMDes) play a significant role in strengthening the village economic base through the organized management of local resources. However, weaknesses in business model design often hinder the sustainability and effectiveness of BUMDes. This study aims to design a BUMDes business model based on the Business Model Canvas (BMC) combined with Interpretive Structural Modeling (ISM). The purpose is to comprehensively map business blocks while identifying the hierarchical structure of key success factors of BUMDes in supporting food security. The research employs a combination of qualitative and quantitative descriptive methods. Primary data were collected through questionnaires and interviews with 30 BUMDes in East Java, while the analysis was conducted using BMC mapping and the development of hierarchical relationships among factors through ISM. The findings indicate that the integration of BMC and ISM can formulate a more adaptive and systematic BUMDes business model aligned with local characteristics. The ISM analysis highlights the presence of key driving factors in human resources and strategic partnerships, which are then integrated into the BMC blocks to reinforce the value proposition and revenue streams of BUMDes. This study contributes theoretically by integrating the BM-ISM approach within the context of rural development and offers practical implications in the form of a business model framework that can be utilized by village governments, BUMDes managers, and stakeholders to strengthen food security and foster local economic independence.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the key factors influencing destination performance and sustainability in cultural heritage-based tourism. Specifically, it investigates the impact of community involvement, events, identity media, lobbying, news, publication, and social investment on destination development across three cultural tourism sites in East Java, Indonesia. The research adopts a quantitative approach using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with SmartPLS. Data were collected from 90 respondents representing multiple stakeholders, including tourists, local communities, destination managers, and local government representatives from Kampoeng Heritage Kajoetangan Kota Malang. Measurement model validity and reliability were ensured through convergent and discriminant validity, Cronbach’s alpha, and composite reliability tests. The findings reveal that lobbying and news significantly influence destination performance, whereas community involvement, events, identity media, publication, and social investment do not show significant effects. These results highlight the strategic role of advocacy efforts and media coverage in enhancing the visibility and competitiveness of tourism destinations. The study concludes that policy advocacy and media-based communication are more effective in strengthening destination sustainability than community participation or general promotional activities. The findings provide practical implications for destination managers and policymakers to prioritize lobbying and media strategies to improve cultural tourism performance. Theoretically, the study contributes to tourism destination research by addressing gaps in the effectiveness of stakeholder engagement strategies. Future research should expand the sample across broader regions and integrate longitudinal analysis to capture dynamic influences over time.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of eco labels, consumer knowledge, and environmental awareness on the interest in buying eco-labeled lipsticks, with green brands as the mediating variable. This research is motivated by the increasing attention to sustainability issues in the cosmetics industry and changes in consumer behavior that increasingly consider environmental aspects in purchasing decisions. A quantitative approach was used in this study with the analysis of Partial Least Squares (PLS) with the help of SmartPLS software. Data was collected from 100 female respondents who had experience or interest in environmentally friendly cosmetic products. The results of the study show that green brands have a significant effect on buying interest. Environmental awareness also has a significant effect on buying interest, albeit in a negative direction. On the other hand, eco-labels and consumer knowledge have no direct effect on buying interest. In indirect relationships, green brands have been proven to mediate the influence of consumer knowledge on buying interest, but do not mediate the influence of eco-labels and environmental awareness. These findings suggest that strengthening green brand image has a more important role in influencing purchasing decisions than just the presence of the label or the level of consumer knowledge and awareness. This research provides implications for cosmetics companies to emphasize sustainable branding strategies to increase product appeal in a market that is increasingly concerned about the environment.
