Abstract

Objective: This study aims to develop an Android-based cashier application integrated with the Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard (QRIS) payment system to enhance transaction efficiency and digital adoption among Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). Method: The application was designed and implemented using the Dart programming language with the Flutter framework, employing SQLite as a local database for transaction data management. Results: The findings demonstrate that the application effectively improves MSME operational efficiency, minimizes errors in transaction recording, and facilitates the use of modern digital payment systems. The integration of QRIS supports smoother financial transactions and accelerates the transition toward digital business operations. Novelty: This study presents an innovative digital solution tailored for MSMEs, promoting financial inclusion and competitiveness in the digital economy through a practical, user-friendly, and efficient mobile application.

Abstract

Objective: This study aims to analyze the branding strategy implemented by Tanduria in building a distinctive brand identity, focusing on aspects such as brand strength, brand uniqueness, and brand favorability. Method: The research employs a qualitative approach with a case study design, utilizing direct observations and in-depth interviews with Tanduria’s founders to explore their branding practices. Results: The findings reveal that Tanduria, as an urban farming platform in Indonesia, successfully promotes its brand through strategies that emphasize ease of use and environmental sustainability, particularly by encouraging the Millennial generation to engage in home-based planting. The branding of Tanduria’s organic fertilizer and pesticide products effectively strengthens its image as a modern, eco-friendly brand that aligns with urban lifestyles. Novelty: This study provides new insights into branding strategies within the urban agriculture industry, demonstrating how environmentally conscious innovation and lifestyle-oriented marketing can enhance brand identity and consumer engagement in the digital era.

Abstract

Objective: This study aims to design and implement a website-based digital marketing system as an effective promotional strategy for Tata Beauty Salon (TBS) in Wonoayu District, Sidoarjo. Background: Currently, TBS relies solely on direct interaction and word-of-mouth marketing, which limits the dissemination of information and hinders business growth and competitiveness. Method: The research applies the Waterfall model of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) to develop a single-page website that presents all essential information—such as services, pricing, and contact details—on one interface for a seamless user experience. The website is built using HTML and CSS for layout and design, while PHP and JavaScript are used for functional programming. Results: The implementation of the website enhances TBS’s online visibility, simplifies customer access to information, and improves promotional reach. Novelty: This research demonstrates how a simple, user-friendly single-page website can serve as an effective digital marketing tool for small businesses, contributing to increased competitiveness and sustainable business growth in the beauty industry.

Abstract

Objective: This study aims to design and implement a web-based sales report information system to improve the operational efficiency of Talenta MSMEs, a furniture producer located in Sidoarjo. Background: Currently, Talenta MSMEs rely on manual recording methods for sales and inventory management, which often result in inefficiencies, data inaccuracies, and delays in decision-making. Method: The system is developed using web technologies to enable real-time data processing and accessibility. Key features include daily and monthly sales reports, real-time inventory monitoring, and sales data analysis to support better business insights. Results: The implementation of this information system significantly enhances the accuracy of sales records, streamlines reporting processes, and facilitates timely decision-making. Conclusion: The developed system contributes to improving operational performance and competitiveness, demonstrating how digital transformation can strengthen MSMEs’ business management in the modern era.

Abstract

Objective: This study aims to analyze the influence of economic literacy, financial literacy, and self-control on consumptive behavior among students. Method: The research was conducted on 117 final-semester students of the Accounting Study Program at Muhammadiyah University of Sidoarjo. Primary data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using validity and reliability tests, multiple linear regression analysis, and hypothesis testing (t-test) with SPSS version 26. Results: The findings reveal that economic literacy and self-control have a significant positive effect on consumptive behavior, while financial literacy has a significant negative effect. Novelty: This study contributes to understanding how literacy and behavioral factors interact in shaping students’ financial decision-making, offering valuable insights for educators and policymakers to promote more responsible spending habits among young adults.

Abstract

Objective: This study aims to analyze the trends and developments of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) in the fashion industry, with a particular focus on their potential application in the Muslim fashion sector, which remains underexplored. Background: The emergence of AI and ML has become a transformative force across industries, including fashion, offering opportunities to enhance design innovation, production efficiency, and competitiveness in international markets. However, research specific to the Muslim fashion industry is still limited, creating a significant knowledge gap. Method: This study adopts the PRISMA systematic review method to identify and analyze relevant literature. Data were sourced from the Scopus database, with 62 out of 100 selected articles from 2011–2025 meeting the inclusion criteria. The data were further processed and visualized using Microsoft Excel, Biblioshiny, and VOSviewer to map key trends, themes, and collaborations. Results: The findings highlight that AI and ML have been increasingly applied in areas such as trend prediction, supply chain optimization, personalized marketing, and sustainable fashion innovation. Novelty: This study provides valuable insights and practical recommendations for Muslim fashion manufacturers to adopt AI and ML technologies, thereby enhancing innovation, competitiveness, and global market presence.

Abstract

Objective: This study aims to analyze the influence of e-commerce utilization, digital literacy, and accounting information systems on entrepreneurial decision-making among accounting students in Indonesia. The research emphasizes the role of technology in addressing unemployment challenges through entrepreneurship in developing countries like Indonesia. Method: A quantitative approach was employed with accounting students from the Muhammadiyah University of Sidoarjo, Class of 2021–2022, serving as respondents. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using statistical methods to determine the effect of each variable on entrepreneurial decision-making. Results: The findings reveal that e-commerce has no significant impact on entrepreneurial decisions, while digital literacy and accounting information systems show a positive and significant influence on students’ entrepreneurial decision-making processes. Novelty: This study contributes to the growing body of knowledge on digital entrepreneurship in higher education by demonstrating that the integration of digital literacy and accounting information systems plays a more decisive role in fostering entrepreneurial behavior than e-commerce usage among accounting students in Indonesia.

Abstract

Objective: This study aims to develop a web-based boarding house management information system for Kost Titik Kumpul, located in Griyo Mapan Sentosa AB-35, Sedati, Sidoarjo, to address existing issues related to manual data recording, payment verification delays, room availability tracking, and incomplete tenant documentation. Method: The research employs a system development approach using the waterfall model, including problem analysis, system design, implementation, and testing to ensure the system aligns with user needs. Results: The resulting system integrates automated tenant data management, online reservations, real-time room availability monitoring, and digital payment processing, which collectively enhance administrative efficiency, accuracy, and reporting capabilities to local authorities. System testing demonstrates improved processing speed, reduced recording errors, and higher reliability in payment verification compared to the previous manual system. Novelty: The study offers an integrated digital solution tailored to small-scale boarding house operations by combining reservation features, automated administrative workflows, and structured tenant reporting in one platform, representing a modernization approach that has not been widely applied in typical local boarding house businesses.

Abstract

Objective: The research aims to classify distro clothing products at Aldi Store according to sales levels to support more effective inventory and marketing strategies. Method: Data processing was conducted using Google Colaboratory, applying the K-Means Clustering algorithm combined with evaluation metrics including the Silhouette Coefficient, Calinski-Harabasz Index, and Davies-Bouldin Index to determine the optimal cluster structure. Results: The analysis shows that K-Means successfully groups sales patterns with strong cluster performance, indicated by a Silhouette Coefficient of 0.576, a Calinski-Harabasz Index of 19.125, and a Davies-Bouldin Index of 0.308, reflecting high cohesion and clear separation among clusters. Novelty: This study integrates multiple validity indices within a practical retail context, demonstrating a robust clustering approach that enhances customer segmentation accuracy and provides actionable insights for strategic decision-making in product management.

Abstract

Objective: The research aims to develop an e-commerce application that enhances customer access to boutique fashion items through an efficient and user-friendly digital platform. Method: The system was designed using the Waterfall development model, supported by analytical tools such as flowcharts, entity relationship diagrams, and data flow diagrams, while MySQL was employed as the database structure. Results: The implementation of the web-based e-commerce application enabled customers to easily browse updated product information, select clothing models remotely, and complete transactions seamlessly. User feedback indicated high satisfaction, with 85% of respondents reporting that shopping became more convenient and enjoyable. Novelty: This study offers a focused digital solution tailored specifically for Muslim boutique SMEs, demonstrating how structured system design and web-based technologies can strengthen business competitiveness and expand market reach through accessible and culturally attuned e-commerce services.
