Focus and Scope Peurawi: Journal of Islamic Communication Studies aims to provide an academic forum for publications based on Islamic communication. Peurawi is based on values derived from Islamic principles, such as ethics, universality, inclusiveness, and humanity, which serve as a reference in the development of communication studies. The Peurawi Journal seeks collaboration with international researchers through publications covering diverse communication methods and fields, including media studies, journalism, public relations, digital communication, organizational communication, and other related subfields within the scope of communication science. This journal recognizes the increasing relevance of communication research in addressing social, cultural, and global issues, and gives priority to works that demonstrate theoretical contributions and practical significance. Articles with a comparative, critical, or international orientation are highly welcome, as they provide alternative perspectives and broaden the scope of academic inquiry. By integrating Islamic communication values with advances in contemporary communication science, Peurawi serves as a medium for disseminating research that is rigorous in method, substantial in concept, and relevant to the pursuit of knowledge and social responsibility. Abstract

This research needs to be studied to find out about the ethics of communication within the Qur'an. Based on the concept in the Qur'an, that is, humans are religious beings and also social beings, namely creatures that always live in a society and always need the participation of other parties. That is, living in a society is something that grows in accordance with human nature and needs. In the Al-Qur'an many provide direction or positive value values that must be developed, as well as negative values that should be avoided. Because in al Alqur'an / 49: 13 it shows that mutual acquaintance which is meant does not distinguish ethnicity, race, language, culture, even ideology. But in reality humans as ethical value makers (homo ethicuc) often have cultural and ethical differences that each adheres to. So that in this case there needs to be ethics in the communication process so that the communication will be established to be good (communicative), thus the relationship will be harmoniously established if between communicators and communicants grow mutual pleasure. Joy will arise if both respect and mutual respect will be born if both of them understand each other about one's characteristics and ethics that are believed by each. To obtain representative data in this discussion, the library research method (library reseach) is used by searching, collecting, reading, and analyzing books, which has relevance to research problems. Then processed according to the ability of the author. The research approach in this paper is content analysis. The method of discussing the interpretation in this writing is the maudhu method, which is a method of interpretation used by the interpreters in explaining the verses of the Qur'an as stated in the Mushaf. It starts with mentioning the verse to be interpreted. So here the author uses the theory of several interpretations of the Qur'an as the basic foundation for translating the verse, the author uses such as Tafsir al-Misbah, Tafsir al-Maraghi, Tafsir Ibn Kathir and Tafsir al-Azhar. After the author obtains the relevant references then the data is compiled, analyzed, so as to obtain conclusions.

Abstract

By marking Qanun no.5 2003 regarding “gampong/village governance and has been emphasized by UUPA no.11 2006 regarding Aceh Local Government is indicating new eras in “Social Identity of the Shadow Society” which had by forgotten during conflict eras in the region. The gampong governances that are consist of; Tuha Peut, geuchik and Teungku Imum which Tuha Peut is the consulting institution to support the Keuchiek were selected from the intellectual, schollars and youth and the women element personalities. The representativeness of women in Tuha Peut of the Gampong is turned to be a basic argument from the Act (No.5 year 2003) that previously had not been included in the structure of the gampong. The interference and the representativeness of women in the Gampong structural leader still considers as in the weak point. Women are not yet completely active in the Tuha Peut Leader institution structure of the gampong. Currently the culture of patriarchy that was noticed women as a second class citizen of the society and additionally the thought that is considering women as an inability actors in gampong development and being interfere in conflict solving of the Gampong is a basic problem in women reposition in gampong institutional structure.

Abstract

This study needs to be studied to understand environmental communication in the concept of Islamic communication. The basic concept needs to be understood that Aceh is faced with various kinds of environmental problems that threaten the sustainability of eco-systems, biodiversity, and deterioration of environmental quality. This will also have an impact on increasing the intensity of disasters and decreasing the health quality of the community. Therefore, collective awareness is needed to save a balanced and sustainable environment. The aspect of environmental communication management is a strategic approach to building the collaboration of the parties in making people, industries, companies, governments and anyone aware of having a common awareness and strategy in the context of saving a quality, harmonious and sustainable environment. In the Islamic perspective, communication is an integral part of human life. One of the purposes of communication in Islam is to spread moral values derived from the Qur’an. In the Qur’an, it has been regulated about the procedures for how humans relate to humans and to the environment.

Abstract

The purpose of writing Intrapersonal Communication in Islamic Communication is to find out the extent of the impact of intrapersonal communication itself on changes in a person's behavior and also his perspective on a problem. However, the problem is that intrapersonal communication cannot be known clearly and in plain view, so communication like this is difficult to see the process of ongoing communication so it will also be difficult to assess the impact it has caused. This writing will focus on the description of intrapersonal communication in Islamic communication and what is included in intrapersonal communication and its impact on the person's daily behavior. The question that then arises is what is meant by communication, intrapersonal communication and intrapersonal communication in Islamic communication, as well as what is included in intrapersonal communication. The opinions of experts discussing this matter are Blake and Harodlsen and Hafied Cangara. The results of this study are expected to provide positive added value for readers and can change the way to communicate towards a better direction.

Abstract

Research study of the effectiveness of socialization qanun No. of 2003 on khlawat in Banda Aceh was conducted using field research (Field Research) which are qualitative, discuss three issues How effective socialization Qanun of 2003 on Seclusion in Banda Aceh, ). What factors inhibit socialization Qanun of 2003 on Seclusion in Banda Aceh and ). Factors that influence the behavior of free sex on the citizens of the City of Banda Aceh. This research is. The approach used in this study is a socio-juridical. Based on the analysis of the study of the three issues raised, it was found that the First, socialization qanun seclusion has been running since at sahkannya Qanun is, but the implementation is a lot going on both constraints of the human factor and the factor of the entertainment spots and areas prone to triggering life free dikalangkan sex Banda Aceh society. Secondly, many of the factors that inhibit socialization Qanun of 2003 on Seclusion in Banda Aceh, the start of many persons who membackengin places of entertainment to the fact that calls into the city of Banda Aceh that potential in increasing seclusion and free sex offense, Banda Aceh is the provincial capital of Aceh, and deviant behavior to promiscuity can be mushrooming, it is also because the number of places that can be used as a place for seclusion and perform promiscuity freely so that the perpetrators committed the offense. Third, many factors influence the behavior of free sex on the citizens of Banda Aceh, which are due to the lack of religious knowledge and lack of oversight of the family and the environment. The conclusion from this study is that the government should impose Banda Aceh community improvement program should be even more incentive to impose a curfew to suppress the occurrence of free sex among people in Banda Aceh.

Abstract

This study is important to understand the interrelationship of Islamic communication with interpersonal communication. The basic concept needs to be understood that humans are spiritual and physical beings, so what is inside us cannot be fully understood by others, if we do not want to reveal to them. Other people cannot understand our ideas, feelings, intentions and intentions if we do not consciously convey to them. Interpersonal communication is communication that occurs in two directions reciprocally between two or more people. Interpersonal communication is very appropriate to do, because between communicators and communicants can discuss each other about various problems. Communicators can see directly the communicant response during the communication process. Interpersonal communication is practiced by many communicators as a process of approach to communicants, such as completing a problem, da'wah, trial process and others. As one effective method of communication, interpersonal communication still exists even though there are many methods of communication that are currently developing, such as virtual communication that communicators and communicants do not have to meet to communicate. Basically, interpersonal communication indirectly creates mutual respect between communicators and communicants. So that this method is very effective for the process of problem solving between communicants and communicators.

Abstract

This research examines students' perceptions and responses to hoax news and hate speech. With the development of technology and social media today, the opportunity to spread hoax news is getting bigger. People who lack digital literacy will be very easily exposed to fake news. The research method used a quantitative method by conducting a survey of 40 students of the Islamic Communication and Broadcasting Study Program, Faculty of Da'wah and Communication, UIN Ar-Raniry. The research results show that students very often encounter fake news or hoaxes on social media, but sometimes they don't know how to differentiate between them. The most news about hoaxes is political news. While hate speech is very often experienced by students, students believe that hate speech can create divisions between individuals. The step they took was to report several cases of hate speech. Cases of hoax news and hate speech can be resolved by understanding more deeply the principles of Islamic communication, namely Qaulan Sadidan and Qaulan Balighan. Of course, there is a need for digital da'wah in strengthening the principles of Islamic communication.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to look at the role of fathers in leading or building a family. Fathers have great duties and functions not only to earn a living but also as protectors, role models, educators. This understanding does not seem to be fully fulfilled by most people. Indonesia adheres to a patriarchal system, thus seeing the father's role as only earning a living for his family. As a result, the father's role becomes partial and creates an imbalance in forming a family. Many children lose a father figure physically and psychologically, making children look for happiness, story friends other than their family. By building Islamic communication, it is hoped that the father's presence can be felt by children and families. The research method used is descriptive analytical method with qualitative approach. The data collection method is by conducting interviews with a number of fathers who live in Darussalam District, Banda Aceh. The results showed that to form a harmonious family, knowledge and religious knowledge are needed by applying Islamic communication principles such as qaulan karima, qaulan baligha, qaulan maysura, qaula sadida, qaulan layyina, qaulan ma'rufa. And it must be balanced by maximising the role of the father to be a family economic supporter (economic provider), providing time for the family (friend and playmate), providing a sense of comfort (caraviger and protector).

Abstract

Intercultural communication cannot be avoided in communication process, including in da’wah. Dai (man preacher) and daiyah (woman preacher), whether they realize it or not, have practiced intercultural communication in their da'wah activities. There are important parts in intercultural communication that can cause success or failure in delivering da'wah. One important part is that dai and daiyah recognize their mad'u culture. Unfortunately, we still find dai and daiyah who have not implemented intercultural communication by taking into account mad'u's cultural differences when preaching, causing mad'u to be less enthusiastic and even no longer willing to attend da'wah studies. Researchers used qualitative methods. In an effort to obtain information related to this, the researcher interviewed mad'u in depth, who is a young intellectual who often participates in religious studies, both on campus, outside campus and at the mosque. The results of data mining from informants found that we still found, 1) dai and daiyah who preach by equating or assuming that every mad'u is the same without realizing that the mad'u present come from diverse cultures, 2) dai and daiyah who stereotype to their mad'u, 3) dai and daiyah who are less sensitive and misinterpret mad'u's nonverbal messages, 4) dai and daiyah who are less able to adjust their language when preaching, 5) dai and daiyah who negatively assess the differences between themselves and mad 'u.

Abstract

The mass media and online portray women unequally in their current coverage, with efforts to normalize discrimination against women. This paper aims to describe feminism toward Critical Discourse Analysis (AWK) in Konde.co online media. The method used in this paper is the descriptive-qualitative method, which involves obtaining data through observation and documentation. The results of this paper show that the news on Konde.co's online media contains feminist discourse. Konde.co takes sides with women in accordance with the ideology of the media, which refers to the feminist movement. Reporting on Konde.co's online media always raises issues related to defending women in writing its news. Konde.co, which has a direct alliance with women, also provides advocacy for women who are oppressed and subordinated by society. Even though the position of women is placed as an object, the Konde.co media still prioritizes it and does not corner it in the news text. Therefore, konde.co, which has feminist characteristics as a differentiator from other media, must be able to maintain the existence and consistency of its media ideology in order to provide a balanced education to the public.
