Abstract

ABSTRACT                                                                              Autistic children in grade 2 and 3 in SDLB Krida Utama 2 Loceret Nganjuk not able to read well. When receiving reading lessons, the child can only read a few letters, a less obvious syllable, and read a non-fluent word. Children need to get guidance so they can read letters, syllables, words and sentences well. The purpose of this research is to know the application of method of sas picture card media activity to improve the reading ability of children with autism in SDLB Krida Utama 2 Loceret Nganjuk. This research uses quantitative approach with Pre-Experimental research type using One Group Pretest Posttest Design research design. The results showed a visible improvement of early reading ability of children through developed aspects of knowing and pronouncing words, spelling syllables, spelling words, and connecting sentences. This is evidenced by the results of data analysis showing the value of Z value = 2.04 bigger than the value of Z table = 1.96 which means the improvement of reading ability through the application of sas method with picture card media activity in SDLB Krida Utama 2 Loceret Nganjuk.   Keywords: sas method, picture card media, start reading capability.

Abstract

ABSTRACT  Children with autism grade 1 and grade 2 in SLB Mutiara Hati Sidoarjo can not read well. When taught to read simple sentences the child can only mention the letter A-Z. Children need to be guided so that they can mention the letter A-Z, spell the letters into syllables spelling syllables into words and connect words into sentences so that children can improve the ability to read the beginning in accordance with the teaching materials. The purpose of this study is to prove the influence of learning model make a match card pictorial media to the ability to read the beginning of children with autism in SLB Mutiara Hati Sidoarjo. This research uses quantitative quantitative and pre-experimental research type, using One Group research design, pretest, post test design. The results showed a significant influence, seen from the ability of the child through the aspects of mentioning the letter A-Z, spelling letters into syllables, spelling syllables into words, and connect words into sentences. This is evidenced by the results of data analysis that shows the value of z arithmet = 2.20 is greater than the value of z table = 1.96, which means the influence of learning model make a match with picture card media on the ability to read the beginning of children with autism in SLB Mutiara Hati Sidoarjo. Abstract

ABSTRACT This research is motivated by fine motor as the main obstacle, so it need to be given a fun learning through batik making activity, which has never been done before. The purpose of this study is to test the improvement of fine motor abilities of children with mild intelectual disability by applying batik skill. The research method used in this research is quantitative approach of pre experimental design with one group pre test - post test design. Statistical techniques in the analysis of this research data is the sign test or Sign Test. Technique of collecting data in the form of test, observation and documentation. The subjects used were six students with mild intelectual disability. The results showed that the value of Z arithmetic (Zh) = 2.04 is greater than the value of crisis Z table (Zt) 5% = 1.96 (Zh> Zt), then Ho is rejected Ha accepted, so there is an increase in fine motor skills Children with mild intelectual disability apply the skills of batik.   Keywords: Batik Skills, Fine Motor.

Abstract

ABSTRACT                 Blind students experience obstacles in learning to count. The result of preliminary observation at SLB Negeri Praya have 6 children with low learning ability of mathematics. These limitations make it difficult for students to digest any given learning, thus requiring learning media that can be used to improve the ability of students with visual impairment. One of them uses an abacus media. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to prove whether or not the influence of media abacus on the ability to recognize the operation of the mathematics of blind students in SLB Negeri Praya.                 Other research design using a quantitative approach to the type of the one group pre-test and post-test. The research subjects examined included 6 students in a state of blind students in total research was conducted using a 6x treatment with statistical calculations found that while Ztabel 1,96 2,05 Zh means Ho rejected and Ha received proved that Abacus Media Capabilities Against Influential Operation Count Math of Blind Student of Grade IV at SLB Negeri Praya "   Keywords: arithmetic operations, media abacus

Abstract

Abstract: Loss of hearing ability in children with hearing impairment results in deaf children experiencing obstacles in language development. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of pembelajan cooperative model of Make A Match against Indonesian vocabulary comprehension of deaf children in SDLB-B Karya Mulia II Surabaya. The subjects of this study are students of hearing impaired class I as many as eight students. This study used quantitative research methods, the design of Pre-Experimental Design with the kind of One-group pretest-posttest design. Data collected by using the test, Using the techniques of non-parametric statistical data analysis, according to the formula Wilcoxon Match Pair Test result shows the average value of 40.38 pretest and posttest average value of 69.93. While the results of data analysis showed that the value of zt = 1.96 and zh = 2.52 then the interprestation of Ha> Ho. So we can conclude Ha accepted, meaning that there is the influence of cooperative learning model of Make A Match tpie against Indonesian vocabulary comprehension of deaf children in SLB-B Karya Mulia II Surabaya.   Keywords: Make A Match, understanding the vocabulary of Indonesian

Abstract

ABSTRACT The essence of self-improvement abilities is defined as the abilities that a child has after practicing a self-development program. The ability to practice merupkan one of the goals that need to be achieved in the learning process so that in practice teachers must be Creative, innovative and imaginative in order to improve the ability of children with moderate disabilities. The purpose of this study is to explain the application of Drill method to improve the ability of self-development of the mentally disabled children is the subject of this study of children with grade 2 Grade who are 6 students who have barriers of self-development ability.  This research method used pre-experimental quantitative research using Pre test and post test group design. Where is the initial treatment before the O2 intervention is provided after treatment and data collection techniques using the Test method and documentation. Technique of data analysis yan in use is sign test (sign test) Zh 2,05 with Zt 0,361. The result is an improvement for the ability of self-educated children who are tuna grahita are wearing school batik clothes, wearing pants, wearing shoes, wearing powder and taking care of 2nd grade hair In SLB Tunas Kasih Surabaya .   Keywords: drill method, improve the ability of self-esteem

Abstract

Abstract: The education of hearing impairment children, especially in intellectual ability, had difficulty in understanding a concept especially change of substance concept. The project based learning trained and accustomed the hearing impairment children to be competent to think and autonomous in solving a problem and also assignment meaningfully. This reaserch purpose was to enhance the learning result of change of substance concept to hearing impairment children throught project based learning. This research method used quantitative approach with pre experiment kind and the arrangement of “One Group Pretest – Posttest Design”. The result of data analysis obtained was Zh greater than Z table i.e. 2,20 > 1,96 so that Ho was refused and Ha was accepted. It mean there was influence of using project based learning toward learning result of change of substance concept to the eigth class fo hearing impairment children SMPLB-B Pertiwi Mojokerto.   Keywords: Project Based Learning, Learning Result

Abstract

ABSTRACT        This research was based by the low of eliminary braille reading ability which includes reading the letters, syllables and simple words. To overcome these problems used an appropriate technique is Mangold reading technique. The mangold reading technique  was a technique to arrange braille letters using two hands to be able to read by fast and easy hands movement and to be able to minimize error reading the letters which reversed to the other letters. This research aims to determine there is the influence of Mangold reading technique on eliminary braille reading ability of students with visual impairment in SLB-A YPAB Surabaya.         This research used quantitative approach with research type of pre-experimental study and research design one-group-pretest-posttest-design. The subjects of this research numbered 6 students with visual impairment of class 1 SDLB. Technique of collecting data by using observation and test. Data were analyzed using non parametric by Wilcoxon Match Pairs Test.  Based on data analyzed about eliminary braille reading ability of students with visual impairment when before being given treatment (Pre-Test) obtained an average value 50.83 and was given treatment (Post-Test) using Mangold reading technique obtained an average value of  80. From the counting result using Wilcoxon Match Pairs Test it was obtained the value of Z counted = 2.20 was greater than critic value α = 5% is 1.96. Then Ho is rejected and Ha accepted. So, the results of data analysis showed that there was a significant influence Mangold reading technique on eliminary reading ability of students with visual impairment.   Keywords: Mangold Reading Technique, Eliminary Braille Reading Ability

Abstract

Abstract : This research is based on the understanding of the development of the ability to recognize color in children with mild mental retardation as the main obstacle, so it is necessary to be given learning using outdoor learning method. The purpose of this study is to prove the effect of outdoor learning methods on the ability to recognize the color in children with mild mental retardation. The research method used is quantitative approach of pre-experimental type and design of one-group pretest-posttest design.The subjects used were six mild mental retardation students in grade 3 of elementary school in SitiHajarSpecial Education School of Sidoarjo. Technique of collecting data in the form of test, observation, and documentation.While the technique of data analysis using non parametric statistic with test formula Wilcoxon Match Pairs Test. The results showed that Zcounted = 2.20 is greater than Ztable = 1.96 with a 5% crisis value which means that the method of outdoor learning has been shown to influence the ability to recognize color in children with mild mental retardation of grade 3 of elementary school in Siti Hajar Special Education School of Sidoarjo.   Keywords : recognize color, outdoor learning
