Abstract

Abstract : Problem experienced by children with autism is less able to recognize the symbol of the number 1-10. Appropriate learning model used is the model of learning picture and picture. The model of learning picture and picture is a learning strategy that uses images as a media of learning. The purpose of this study to prove the influence of the model of learning picture and picture on the ability to recognize the symbol of the number of children with autism. This research method is quantitative with One Group research design, pretest, post test design. The results showed pretest mean values ??of 36.66  given 6 treatments in the aspect of sorting the symbols of numbers 1-10, pair the symbols of the numbers 1-10 with the number of real objects and pair the symbols of numbers 1-10 according to the number of images, and the average post-test score of 86.66. This is evidenced by the results of data analysis shows the value of z arithmet = 2.20 greater than the value of z table = 1.96. It can be concluded that the model of learning picture and picture has an effect on the ability to recognize the symbol of the number of children with autism   Keywords: Symbol of Numbers, Picture and Picture.

Abstract

ABSTRACT An inclusive school was a school joining special need learners and regular learners in one class. The education service given was also suitable with each students’ needs. The purposes of this research were to describe the implementation (planning, implementing, and evaluation), to describe the problem factors and the solution dealing with the implementation, educators, media and infrastructure supporting in learning adaptive physical education for special need learners in inclusive school. This research used the method of qualitative research with descriptive kind.Based on the data analysis it was obtained that the implementation of learning adaptive physical education for special need learners in inclusive school had already been implemented well. The modification done to special need learners was to the learning and the learning activity. The special need learners could wholly follow the learning because it was found easy. The condition of the learners who were less active in following the learning implementation, accompanying which was not done to every class, the media used was the same with the regular learners and less sufficient infrastructure made the teachers and GPK try as good as possible in order that the learning could run smoothly and utilized the media and infrastucture which had been existed by matching according to the special need learners’ ability. The exact learning method was suitable with the learners’ ability and characteristics and did accompanying when the learning was performing and the suitable media and infrastructure would help the teachers very much in establishing the program of adaptive sport education in inclusive school. Abstract

ABSTRACT One of the disturbances in communication which was early diagnosed to children with autism was that there was disturbance in joint attention ability. The less of joint attention ability to children with autism would make them difficult to interact with the others, they often appeared busy with themselves, they were difficult to divide or generalize attention with the other people, difficult to share emotion with the other people, and less contact eyes, and they could not follow the gesture direction from other people. In this research, the researcher arranged the activity which had purpose to develop joint attention ability to children with autism using pivotal response treatment.        This research used quantitative approach with pre experimental design kind of research and one group pretest-posttest design. This research was done in TK Mentari School Sidoarjo with 6 children with autism around 4-7 years old as the research subject. Based on the result of data analysis about joint attention ability to children with autism before giving treatment (pre-test) it was obtained average value 34,17 and after giving treatment (post-test) using pivotal response treatment it was obtained average value 80,83. From the counting result using sign test it was obtained Zh = 2,05 greater than critic value = 1,96 (two sides test) so Ho was refused and Ha was accepted. So, the result of data analysis indicated that there was influence of pivotal response treatment application toward joint attention ability to children with autism.   Keywords: Joint Attention Ability, Pivotal Response Treatment.

Abstract

Abstract : Impacts of deafness result in limited information obtained by children with hearing impairment. So that children understand the difficulty of reading the Indonesian subjects. This study aimed to analyze the influence of learning strategies in reading comprehension DRTA child Deaf class V SDLB-B Karya Mulia 1 Surabaya, especially in terms of reading comprehension in learning Indonesian. This study uses a quantitative approach to research the type of pre-experiment and design of the study one group pre-test - post-test design. Subject researched children with hearing impaired class V in SDLB-B Karya Mulia 1 Surabaya amounting to 8 eople. Test data collection techniques such as statistical data analysis techniques with the non-parametric Wilcoxon test formula The results of analysis of test match pairs data analysis showed that test early / pre-test Average -rata that obtained is 48 and after Given treatment test end / post test with the average obtained for 71 It Show that There Significant increase. Abstract

Abstract : From the observation in SLB Sinar Harapan Probolinggo, there are 6 children with autism who have barriers in social interaction. So, children need to be given special treatment that can increase social interaction. The treatment is a basketball modification, the goal for which children are able to interact well and know the influence of basketball modification. This research uses quantitative approach and type of pre experimental design with one group pre test - post test design. Statistical techniques in the analysis of this research data is a sign test. Data collection techniques in the form of observation and documentation. Research subjects used as many as six children with autism. The results showed that the value of Z arithmetic (Zh)=2.04 greater than the value of crisis Z table (Zt) 5%=1.96 (Zh> Zt), then Ho is rejected Ha accepted, so there is influence between the basketball modifications to the social interactions of children with autism.   Keywords: Basketball Modification, Social Interaction

Abstract

Abstract : This research was formed background by the speaking disorder that was owned by children with autism. The speaking ability of children with autism have in asking questions, answering questions, and providing responses still need to be improved. The speaking ability of children with autism in this research was improved through the storytelling method with social story. The purpose of this research was to improve the speaking ability of children with autism through the application of storytelling method with social story. The research kind was experiment with Single Subject Research (SSR) arrangement of A-B design. The subject of his research was one child with autism in SD Negeri Percobaan Surabaya whose speaking ability was low. The results showed that the frequency range of speaking ability was done within 20 minutes at the baseline phase (A) 6-8 times and in the intervention phase (B) 12-20 times. The percentage of data overlap the baseline phase (A) to the intervention phase (B) was 0%. This suggested the intervention has an effect on target behavior that was speaking ability of children with autism. Based on these results can be concluded that the application of storytelling methods with social story can improve the speaking ability of children with autism in SD Negeri Percobaan Surabaya. Abstract

Abstract: Practical learning method is one of the learning method that is very appropriate with the characteristic of learning of blind children. Especially in subjects that prioritize vision. Because  in practicum activities a blind child can identify with the rest of the senses they have. The purpose of this study is to describe the extent of the influence of media lab beaker glass mentoring toward mastery volume measurement braille for blind children in SMPLB-A YPAB Surabaya. This study used quantitative research methods, the design of Pre-Experimental Design with the kind of One-group pretest-posttest design. The subjects of this study as many as six children with visual impairments, data was collected using test techniques, Using the techniques of non-parametric statistical data analysis, according to the formula Wilcoxon Match Pair Test. The results showed the ability of blind children in the mastery of volume measurement tends to increase. It can be seen from the average value of 51.67 pretest and posttest score 88.33. While result of data analysis show that Ha> Ho. So it can be concluded Ha accepted, meaning there is influence Mastering Measurement Volume through Mentoring Beaker Glass Practicum mediated Braille for Blind Children in SMPLB-A YPAB Surabaya. Abstract

Abstract: The impact of impairment on causing children to experience problems in behavior that is not in accordance with normal children in general. Behaviors such unusual behavior called blindism. Blindism behavior have an impact on a lot of things, especially in the academic field so that learning becomes less than the maximum. The purpose of this study was to determine the condition of the child when the child is not given the intervention (A), intervention (B) and the tendency of the stability of the phase of the baseline (A) to the intervention phase (B) through practicum activities using glass beaker braille on command  concept of volume measurement . This study uses a quantitative approach to research the type of experiment Singgle Subject Reseach (SSR) with A-B design, the number of subjects is one (1) class blind children 7 SMPLB-A YPAB Surabaya. Technique of collecting data in the form of observation method. The result of data analysis show that through practicum activity measuring the volume of  regular and irregular object can reduce the behavior of blindism wiggle the bodies of children with visual impairment Keywords: Blindism, Practicum, Visual Empairment.
