Abstract

This study aims to design and implement a web-based Motorcycle Spare Parts Inventory Information System integrated with a barcode scanner at Lidin Motor. The main problem addressed is the manual inventory recording process, which often leads to data inaccuracies, stock discrepancies, and delays in accessing inventory information. The research employs the Web Engineering method, which consists of communication, planning, modelling, construction, and deployment phases. The system was developed using the Laravel framework with a Model-View-Controller (MVC) architecture and barcode scanner integration for stock-in and stock-out transactions. The results show that the implemented system improves inventory data accuracy, accelerates transaction processing, and provides real-time stock reports and activity logs to support managerial decision-making. Furthermore, the application of role-based access control between the Owner and Employees effectively enhances data security and integrity. Overall, the developed system is technically and operationally feasible and contributes to improving efficiency and transparency in inventory management for small-scale automotive workshops.

Abstract

Cocoa plant (Theobroma Cacao) is an important  economic commodity in indonesia that is susceprible to pest and disease attacks, particularly the Cocoa Pod Borer (CPB) which can reduce crop yileds by up to 70%. Limited access to agricultural experts and insufficient datasets pose challenges in applying deep learning technology  for plant disease  diagnosis. This research aims to implment Generative Adversarial Networks (GANs) method, specifically Deep Convolutional GAN (DCGAN) , for sataset augmentation to improve the performance  of an expert system for diagnosing  cocoa plant diseases. The research methodology includes data collection through field observations in Atar Lebar Village, Lampung and public  datasets from Kaggle, image preprcessing (resizing to 128 x 128 pixels and normalization from -1 to 1 ), augmnetation using DCGAN  to generate 2,000 synthetic images for disease class, and clasification using Convolutional Neural Network CNN) and MobileNetV2. The system is implmented as aweb -based application using PHP and Python for diagnosing three main disease types:  Pod Borer, Monilia and Black Pod Rot,  along wirh Healthy and Non – Cocoa Classes.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to investigate the impact of pack carburizing heat treatment on the mechanical properties and corrosion rate of ASTM A36 steel at various temperatures of 850°C, 900°C, and 950°C. The research methods included pack carburizing, followed by quenching using distilled water, Rockwell hardness testing, microstructure observation at 50× magnification using an optical microscope, and corrosion testing using the weight loss method in seawater, rainwater, and NaCl solution. The results showed that heat treatment increased the hardness of the material, with a maximum value of 36.22 HRC at 950°C and a minimum value of 32.76 HRC in untreated conditions. Changes in the microstructure from ferrite–pearlite to martensite dominance with retained austenite occurred with increasing temperature, which contributed to the increase in hardness. The results of corrosion testing show that the corrosion rate tends to be lower at 850°C–900°C treatment compared to untreated conditions, but increases again at a temperature of 950°C, this is due to the presence of residual stress in the material.

Abstract

Kuningan Regency, West Java, has a wide variety of tourist destinations that have the potential to support regional tourism development. However, the large number of destinations with different characteristics often makes it difficult for tourists to objectively determine the best destination. Therefore, a Decision Support System (DSS) is needed to assist the selection of tourist destinations based on measurable and systematic criteria. This study aims to design a web-based DSS by comparing the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) and Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) methods in determining the best tourist destinations in Kuningan Regency. The AHP method is used to determine the weight of each criterion, while the SAW method is applied to rank tourist destinations based on criteria such as ticket price, accessibility, facilities, attractiveness, popularity, and total visits. The results show that the developed system is able to provide objective recommendations. The AHP method produces consistent criterion weights (CR = 0.0771 ≤ 0.1), while the SAW method is more efficient in the calculation and ranking process (0.018 seconds vs. 0.132 seconds). The combination of both methods is effective for implementation in a web-based DSS to support the selection of the best tourist destinations

Abstract

Inventory is one of the important assets that supports the smooth operation of a company, especially for companies engaged in the service and sales of motor vehicle spare parts. CV Syahra Motor is a workshop that provides motorcycle service as well as selling various spare parts. The problem faced by the company is the process of managing inventory which is still done manually through bookkeeping, so that often occurs recording errors, delays in reporting, and discrepancies between stock data and the physical condition of goods in the warehouse. This study aims to design and build an Inventory Information System that is able to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of inventory data management. Data collection methods used include observation, interviews, and documentation to obtain information according to the system's needs. The system was developed using Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0 as a programming language and Microsoft Access 2007 as a database. The resulting system includes data management of incoming goods, outgoing goods, and presentation of computerized inventory reports. The implementation of this system is expected to minimize recording errors, speed up the data retrieval process, increase the accuracy of stock information, and support faster and more precise decision making. Thus, the information system developed can be a solution to improve the quality of inventory management at CV Syahra Motor.

Abstract

The rapid development of information technology has made websites one of the most important infrastructures for public services, business operations, and digital communication. However, the increasing use of websites is also accompanied by a growing number of cyber threats. Web application vulnerabilities such as SQL Injection, Cross-Site Scripting (XSS), and insecure server configurations can be exploited by attackers to gain unauthorized access to or manipulate sensitive data. Therefore, a systematic security analysis is required to minimize the risk of cyberattacks.This study aims to analyze the security level of a website using OWASP ZAP (Zed Attack Proxy) on the Kali Linux operating system. The research methodology consists of several stages, including literature review, testing environment preparation, website target selection, vulnerability scanning through automated and manual testing, result analysis, and mitigation recommendation development. The identified vulnerabilities were classified according to the OWASP Top 10 standard and categorized based on their risk levels (high, medium, and low).The results indicate that OWASP ZAP is capable of detecting various potential vulnerabilities within the tested website, particularly those related to input validation and authentication management. Several identified vulnerabilities were classified as medium- to high-risk, indicating that they could potentially be exploited if not properly addressed. Recommended mitigation measures include implementing strict input validation, utilizing prepared statements in database operations, and strengthening server security configurations. In conclusion, this study demonstrates that OWASP ZAP running on Kali Linux is an effective tool for detecting website vulnerabilities and can serve as a valuable reference for developers and system administrators in improving web application security.

Abstract

The car Air Conditioning (AC) system plays an important role in maintaining cabin comfort, especially in tropical climates. Its performance is influenced by engine speed (RPM) and the installation position of the thermostat sensor capillary tube on the evaporator. This study analyzes the effect of RPM variation and sensor installation depth on the Coefficient of Performance (COP) of a 1300 cc Avanza car AC system using R-134a refrigerant through an experimental method. The results show that sensor position significantly affects system performance: a surface-mounted position causes icing, a 1 cm depth produces a lower COP, while a 2 cm depth provides the most optimal condition with stable temperature, balanced pressure, and the highest COP. Therefore, a 2 cm sensor depth is the most efficient condition for improving AC system performance

Abstract

The rapid development of information technology has encouraged organizations to improve the efficiency of data management and business processes through the implementation of web-based information systems. Manual management of guest house operations often leads to various issues, including reservation recording errors, inaccurate room availability information, and delays in generating operational and financial reports. Therefore, a well-structured system requirements design is needed as a foundation for software development. This study aims to design the requirements of a web-based Guest House Information System using a Product Requirement Document (PRD) with an Agile approach. The research methodology includes user requirement identification, business process analysis, user story development, functional and non-functional requirement specification, as well as product backlog and sprint planning preparation. The result of this study is a PRD that contains the product vision, stakeholders, user stories, system requirements, use case diagrams, activity diagrams, and feature development priorities based on Agile principles. The resulting PRD serves as a guideline for the system development process, reducing requirement misinterpretation, improving communication between stakeholders and developers, and ensuring that the developed system aligns with user needs. Through a structured requirements design process, the development of the Guest House Information System is expected to be more effective, efficient, and adaptable to changing requirements.

Abstract

To improve operational efficiency, many companies have implemented integrated systems in line with advances in information technology. In the automotive repair sector, asset and inventory management plays a crucial role in supporting day-to-day operations. Raffi Autocare faces various challenges, including a lack of centralized inventory tracking, limited asset monitoring capabilities, and the manual distribution of spare parts between branches. To improve operational effectiveness and facilitate real-time monitoring, this project aims to develop and implement a web-based asset and inventory management system. Data collection was conducted through observation, interviews, and literature review, while requirements analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance were all carried out using the Waterfall Method in system development. The expanded system provides features for asset management, inventory monitoring, spare part distribution between branches, and integrated reporting. The research results indicate improvements in data accuracy, operational effectiveness, and inventory control across all branches. The system also facilitates faster decision-making processes through centralized, real-time information management. The implementation of a web-based asset and inventory management system has proven to enhance operational performance and service quality within the automotive workshop environment

Abstract

This study presents a systematic literature review on the role of Management Information Systems (MIS) in improving service quality and customer satisfaction in e-commerce businesses. By analyzing more than 50 recent scientific sources from 2020 to 2024, this review identifies how MIS components—including data management systems, process automation, predictive analytics, and digital platform integration—contribute significantly to enhanced customer experiences. The synthesis results indicate that effective MIS implementation can accelerate service response times, improve product information accuracy, strengthen transaction trust, and build long-term loyalty. This study also identifies research gaps that still need exploration, particularly regarding the integration of artificial intelligence in e-commerce MIS and its impact on customer satisfaction in emerging markets. These findings are intended to serve as a foundation for researchers, digital business practitioners, and policymakers in designing customer-centric information system development strategies.
