Abstract

This study aims to analyze volatility clustering and tail risk characteristics in Indonesian Antam gold returns. The data used in this study consist of daily Antam gold prices, which are transformed into logarithmic returns. The analytical methods include descriptive statistics, the Jarque-Bera normality test, the Augmented Dickey-Fuller (ADF) stationarity test, Autocorrelation Function (ACF) analysis, the Ljung-Box test, the ARCH-LM test, and tail risk measurement using Historical Value-at-Risk (VaR) and Expected Shortfall (ES). The results show that Antam gold returns are not normally distributed, exhibit fat tails, and indicate the presence of volatility clustering and ARCH effects. The ADF test confirms that the return series is stationary. The VaR and ES measurements indicate potential extreme losses at the 1% and 5% risk levels, while the exceedance results, which are close to the expected risk levels, suggest that the historical VaR approach is reasonably relevant in describing tail risk. These findings confirm that although Antam gold is often considered a safe-haven asset, volatility risk and extreme losses should still be considered in investment decision-making. In addition to providing a statistical overview of Antam gold risk, this study also contributes to the field of Data Science in the context of Computational Finance by providing an analytical foundation for risk feature construction, volatility signal identification, and the development of risk prediction models based on artificial intelligence or machine learning.

Abstract

Fakultas Bahasa dan Seni, Universitas PGRI Mahadewa Indonesia has implemented various information systems, but their utilization has not been optimal due to the lack of integration of some systems, informal governance, and the absence of strategic planning that aligns the IS/IT portfolio with institutional objectives. This study aims to design a strategic IS/IT planning at the faculty level to support alignment between the IS/IT portfolio and business strategy. The study used a qualitative descriptive approach with the Ward and Peppard method supported by Value Chain Analysis, Critical Success Factors, PEST, SWOT, and McFarlan's Strategic Grid. Data were collected through open-ended questionnaires, observations, and document studies. The results showed that the current portfolio consists of 17 systems dominated by the Key Operational and Support quadrants, while the Strategic quadrant contains only one system. Based on the analysis, an IS business strategy, IT strategy, and IS/IT management strategy were formulated, resulting in a future application portfolio containing 18 systems. Recommendations focused on developing existing systems, adding one new system, and utilizing generative artificial intelligence trends in external environmental analysis. All recommendations were compiled in a development roadmap that aligns with the faculty's strategic plan. Further research is recommended to implement the roadmap and measure its alignment and success, and expand the scope of planning to university or interfaculty levels.

Abstract

The limitations of manual record-keeping, which only logs NIK without detailed transaction history, mean that Tri Guntoro Station operators lack a valid reference when faced with demands to report that stock is out. This situation forces operators to engage in random data entry by selecting arbitrary NIK from paper records to meet reporting targets for Pertamina. This practice has led to a high incidence of duplicate data anomalies on the subsiditepatlpg.mypertamina.id portal, resulting in cumulative financial penalties assessed during each monthly audit. This study aims to design a web-based quota management system to replace estimated data with precise transaction validation, in accordance with the maximum quota rules of one cylinder per week for households and two cylinders per week for micro-businesses. This system applies a finite state machine model to dynamically map customer quota statuses into the states of “Available,” “Almost Out,” and “Out.” The Waterfall method was used for software development. The result of this research is a functional web application capable of validating transaction eligibility in real time and preventing the entry of National Identification Numbers associated with an “Exhausted” status, thereby ensuring the accuracy of reporting data, eliminating the practice of random data entry, and protecting the distribution center from financial losses due to fines.

Abstract

Price fluctuations in strategic horticultural food commodities can affect food and economic stability. This study aims to predict the prices of shallots, garlic, red chilies, and bird’s eye chilies in Central Java Province using Random Forest Regression based on historical prices and climate variables, and to interpret climate variable contributions using Shapley Additive Explanations (SHAP). Price data were obtained from the National Strategic Food Price Information Center (PIHPS), while climate data were collected from four BMKG stations during 2018–2025. The model used 16 features, including historical prices, average temperature (TAVG), average humidity (RH_AVG), rainfall (RR), rolling features, and calendar variables. Evaluation was conducted using MAE, RMSE, and MAPE at H+1, H+7, and H+30 forecasting horizons. The results show that the best performance was achieved for garlic price prediction at H+1, with a MAPE of 1.69%, while the highest error occurred for red chili at H+30, with a MAPE of 26.72%. SHAP analysis shows that TAVG was dominant in chili commodities, while RR and RH_AVG had greater influence on shallots and garlic. These findings indicate that Random Forest and SHAP can support short-term price prediction with interpretable climate variable contributions.

Abstract

The conventional logistics information system architecture in the Gayo coffee supply chain suffers from a structural vulnerability in the form of a single point of failure, where reliance on centralized authorization introduces the risk of retrospective database tampering. This degrades transparency and fails to provide computational non-repudiation guarantees. This research proposes a supply chain tracking model based on a hybrid Web2 and Web3 architecture to mitigate information asymmetry through the implementation of a Zero-Trust protocol on the Ethereum network (Sepolia Testnet). The system decouples computational workloads: a relational database acts as a low-latency buffer for tiered authorization consensus (Maker-Checker), while a Solidity-based smart contract serves as a decentralized notarization layer. Validated logistical payloads are cryptographically locked into network blocks to ensure data immutability. Architectural evaluation demonstrates that the system successfully facilitates Zero-Trust data extraction; consumers can independently validate the Transaction Hash (TxHash) via QR code scanning, directly bypassing internal servers to retrieve data from blockchain nodes. This approach is empirically proven to establish anti-manipulation and transparent product history integrity.

Abstract

Employee performance evaluations at Segara Travel Domestik in Depok are still conducted manually, resulting in a process that tends to be slow, poorly documented, and potentially subject to subjective judgment. This study aims to design a decision support system to assist management in ranking employees based on measurable criteria. The method used is the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP), which involves the following stages: hierarchy construction, pairwise comparison, matrix normalization, priority weight calculation, and consistency testing. The evaluation criteria consist of loyalty, cooperation, discipline, and performance. System requirements data were obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation, while priority processing was performed quantitatively using AHP. The system was developed using Java NetBeans and a MySQL database. Test results showed that the comparison matrix had a Consistency Ratio (CR) of 0.01—or less than 0.10—meaning the criterion weights are valid for use. The developed system produces structured and documented employee rankings, serving as a management tool to aid in performance evaluation decision-making.

Abstract

The selection of transportation partners at PT Amanah Jaya Logistik has so far been conducted conventionally and subjectively, since decisions rely solely on the lowest rental price without comprehensively considering fleet condition, cargo safety, experience, and responsiveness. This condition risks decision-making errors and reduces customer trust in the company. This research aims to design and build a website-based Decision Support System (DSS) that applies the Multi-Objective Optimization on the basis of Ratio Analysis (MOORA) method to help select transportation partners objectively, quickly, and accurately. The research methodology includes observation and interviews at the research site, the collection of data from 100 transportation-partner alternatives based on five criteria, namely rental price, fleet condition, cargo safety, experience, and responsiveness, as well as system implementation using the PHP programming language, MySQL database, and Visual Studio Code editor. The test results show that the MOORA method can process the decision matrix through normalization and criteria-weighting stages, producing optimization values (Yi) that can be ranked into recommendations. This system has proven to help the management of PT Amanah Jaya Logistik make transportation-partner selection decisions that are more transparent, measurable, and objective.

Abstract

Production delays are one of the problems that can affect operational effectiveness and customer satisfaction in the printing industry. PT Pelangi Grafika still identifies potential production delays based on experience, making it necessary to develop a system capable of providing more objective predictions. This study aims to implement the Random Forest algorithm in a web-based application to predict production delays using historical production data. The dataset consists of order quantity, product type, deadline, estimated production time, number of machines, number of operators, difficulty level, number of revisions, and production queue. The research stages include data preprocessing, training and testing data splitting, Random Forest model construction, and model evaluation using a Confusion Matrix with accuracy, precision, recall, and F1-score metrics. The results indicate that the proposed model achieves excellent classification performance in predicting production delay status. Furthermore, the developed application assists the company in identifying potential production delays at an earlier stage, thereby supporting more effective decision-making.
