Poverty is a fundamental problem in economic development in addition to unemployment and income inequality. In Jambi Province, the poverty rate shows a trend that tends to be sloping, but it is still in the range of seven to eight percent. This study aims to analyze the effect of economic growth, Human Development Index (HDI) and gini ratio on poverty levels in Jambi Province. The results of panel data regression analysis with Fixed Effect Model (FEM) found that economic growth and HDI had a negative effect on poverty, while the gini ratio had a positive effect. For every 1 percent increase in economic growth, poverty in Jambi Province will decrease about 0.100178 percent. For every 1 point increase in HDI, poverty in Jambi Province will decrease about 0.204701 percent. For every 0.1 point increase in the Gini ratio, poverty in Jambi Province will increase about 0.503383 percent. Thus, it can be said that economic growth in Jambi Province is in line with poverty reduction. HDI has potential to reduce poverty in Jambi Province, while Gini ratio tends to increase poverty’s level.

The agricultural sector is the mainstay of job creation, but the contribution of this sector to Indonesia's GDP is relatively low. Growth in this sector has always been below the average national economic growth. So this study wants to see the influence of the agricultural sector on the Indonesian economy. Through analysis of Indonesia's input output table in 2016, it is known that the agriculture sector has a multiplier effect of 1.31 on the Indonesian economy. In addition, the agricultural sector also has a significant effect on increasing household income 0.45. Meanwhile, in employment, the agricultural sector has the highest multiplier effect 0.03 percent. Based on the simulation, if there is an increase in government spending by 5 percent for the agricultural sector, then there is no increase in output. owever, if there is an increase in agricultural investment by 5 percent, there will be an increase in output, savings, and investment from the agricultural and non-agricultural sectors.

Unemployment has a negative impact on society. As long as the unemployment period has not ended, job seekers will need more of these savings/assets to meet their needs. This study aims[HC1] to determine the length of time an unemployed person is looking for a job and the effect of gender, age, and education level variables on how long they can get a job in Indonesia. This study uses the National Manpower Survey dataset (SAKERNAS PANEL 2017) with analysis methods survival and the proportional regression model Coxhazard. The results showed that unproductive age[HC2] and higher education level would prolong the time job seekers find work. The average length of time looking for work for the age group of teenagers (15-24 years) and adults (55 years and over) is 11.30 months, while the productive age group (25-54 years) is 10.08 months. This indicates that the company prefers to hire job seekers with productive ages (25-54 years) compared to teenagers and adults. As for the level of education, the average length of time looking for a job for someone with elementary school education is around 8.32 months, junior high school graduation/equivalent is 9.85 months, high school graduation/equivalent is 11.21 months, and college graduates are 11.55 months. In an inferential analysis using Cox Proportional Hazard regression analysis, the variables that have a significant effect on a person's job search are age and education level variables. The hazard ratio value for the age variable is 1.4254. This means that for each age value, the opportunities for job seekers who have a productive age (25-54 years) are faster in unemployment than those of teenagers (15-24 years) or adults (55 years and over). While the use values hazard ratio for the variable educational level of 0.9385. This means that job seekers with higher education have the opportunity to be unemployed for a longer duration than job seekers with low education.

Rural cooking oil price data was collected in 32 provinces in Indonesia. Forecast model can be in form of ARIMA for each province. Forecast is used to formulate precise controlling policies of rural inflation. Time series data can have pattern resemblance. This resemblance can be used to form clusters. Therefore, this research aimed to compare the accuracies on ARIMA model of cooking oil price developed using hierarchical agglomerative clustering (HAC) time series method which its forecast is used by each member of clusters. As the results, modeling for 32 provinces individually resulting an average MAPE of 2.58%, while ARIMA model development with CID as the distance measures for HAC and employing 2 or 5 clusters, gave a more efficient and speed on modeling process and only giving effect on increased MAPE just by average of 7%, furthermore when 5 clusters was introduced, it resulting an increased of MAPE just by 4%. These were all compared with models without clustering. Those clusters with CID gave a lower MAPE in 10%. The CID cophenetic coefficient was 0.83.

Malaria is a disease that is still endemic in most parts of Indonesia. Several factors that are thought to influence malaria prevalence are malaria treatment factors and behavioral factors to prevent mosquito bites. Factors of malaria treatment are getting ACT (Artemisinin-based Combination Therapy) according to the program, getting ACT treatment in the first 24 hours, taking ACT medicine for 3 days, effective treatment with ACT, and self-medication. The behavioral factors for preventing mosquito bites are using mosquito nets, mosquito nets, insecticides, mosquito coils, repellents, and taking malaria prevention drugs (RISKESDAS 2013). This study aims to model the prevalence of malaria with Geographically Weighted Lasso Regression (RLTG). In malaria prevalence data there is spatial heterogeneity and local multicollinearity. In this study the problem was solved by the RLTG model. The resulting model is used to determine the variables that significantly influence malaria prevalence in each province in Indonesia. The results show that the RLTG model has an R2 value of 99.65%. The variables that significantly influence the prevalence of malaria in most provinces in Indonesia are the variable proportion of the population who treat themselves (28 provinces) and the proportion of households using mosquito nets (26 provinces).

Indonesia is included in one of the developing country. A country can be said to be a developed country if it has good development supported by good human resources. To realize the country's development well, one of the solution is by improving the quality of human resources in the country. The government's efforts to improve the quality of human resources are one of them from educational facilities that become a place to develop themselves and creativity. By conducting a provincial grouping that has the same characteristics of the Education problem, it will help the government in determining policies according to existing groups. The grouping in this study was conducted in 34 provinces in Indonesia using 9 variables. The variable will be tested for feasibility first so the remaining 7 variables are obtained. From the 7 variables, the main component analysis is carried out to find out how much the main components are formed and the variables inside that affect the quality of the Education. One main component is obtained with 7 variables in it, will be the basis for cluster formation. Cluster formation was carried out using the K-means method by firstly determining the number of clusters using the Elbow method. From the K-Means method, 5 clusters were obtained for the 34 provinces. The five clusters are grouped based on the cluster average obtained in the K-Means method, where the provinces in the group that have the largest cluster average value can be the main focus of the government in improving the quality of secondary school education.

Sungai Penuh City was formed in 2009, is the region with the lowest poverty rate in Jambi Province. The low level of poverty should be supported by low unemployment. However, what happens is that the unemployment rate is inversely proportional to poverty. This paper aims to describe the unemployment and poverty in Sungai Penuh City and analyze the causes of the paradox of the relationship between them. By using a descriptive-exploratory method, it is known that the cause of this condition is the interrelationship in the growth of the main sector where the population works with an increase in the number of workers in this sector. In addition, it was revealed that unemployment in the Sungai Penuh City had a high school and university degree. Unemployment generally comes from middle to upper class families and has welfare guarantees and has a high interest in becoming an employee.

The poverty rate of Jambi Province is 7.92 percent while unemployment is 3.86 percent in 2018. The target of reducing poverty and unemployment is usually used as an indicator in measuring socio-economic development globally. But these targets only provide a limited picture of the quality of growth and development and we need to have a more detailed understanding of the quality of work and development of livelihoods, especially for those who have managed to get out of deprivation, to ensure that policies are effective in increasing growth fair and sustainable. This study will discuss specifically the description of graduates of SMA/SMK in Jambi Province. This study uses Susenas data (National Socio-Economic Survey) and Sakernas data (National Labor Force Survey) of Jambi Province in 2018 with a descriptive-exploratory analysis method. This study provides results that the number of job seekers who have SMA/SMK education background in the labor market is more male than female, while labor market participation rates are still dominated by women. In addition, the proportion of young graduates of SMA/SMK who do not work, do not go to school anymore and also do not attend training (NEET) in Jambi Province is still relatively high for ages 15-29 years which is 14.46 percent. The unemployment rate for SMA/SMK graduates declined compared to 2017, indicating an increase in demand for graduates of SMA/SMK in Jambi Province. But if we look at the wages of women graduating from SMA/SMK it is still below the regional minimum wage set by the government. Jambi Province continues to strive to reduce unemployment, but there are still many challenges in realizing fair and sustainable growth. It becomes a challenge to continue to realize quality work and livelihoods and sustainability.

Breast milk has a complete nutritional content required by children and can increase protection from infection, improving intelligence, reducing risk of diabetes and obesity. The result of Basic Health Survey (Riskesdas) 2018 demonstrated that administration of breast milk to children between 0-5 months in Jambi Province is still below national average. The result of SUSENAS from Jambi City in 2017 showed that there was a reduction in percentage of children under 2 years old provided with breast milk. This study analyze the pattern of exclusive breastfeeding provision within Jambi City in 2017. The data utilized was SUSENAS data from 2017 with the focus on children under 2 years old and their biological mother that live together. Method applied was descriptive analysis and inference (chi square and logistic regression). Analysis showed that working mothers have a smaller chance to provide exclusive breastfeeding compared to non-working mothers. From the level of education, mothers with lower and middle level of education have a greater chance to give exclusive breastfeeding compared to mothers with high-level of education.
