Each region faces different population problems, one of which is the problem of unemployment. Unemployment measures the extent to which the labor force is able to be absorbed by existing employment. Tebo Regency has experienced an increase in unemployment in the past three years. So we need a study of what affects unemployment, precisely the determinants of unemployment in Tebo district. In this study, binary logistic regression is used which shows that education status, marital status, gender and regional classification significantly influence unemployment in Tebo Regency in 2019. Furthermore, it is hoped that local governments will pay attention to the causes of unemployment so they are able to make the right policies that can reduce the numbers unemployment rate in Tebo Regency.

The success of the development of a nation is related to the quality of the Human Resources (HR) in it. One of the factors that determines the quality of human resources is the nutritional status of children as the nation's next generation. Efforts to intervene in nutrition for children in Indonesia still leave problems that have a serious impact on the quality of human resources. One of the problems is the disparity or gaps in the nutrition problems of children under five between provinces. There are a number of indicators that have been determined to see the performance of the nutrition problem management program in Indonesia. By looking at the performance indicators of the nutrition program, it is hoped that efforts to deal with nutrition problems can be carried out specifically in accordance with the performance achievements of the nutrition program in each region, so that disparities can be reduced. In this study, the analysis methods used were factor analysis and biplot analysis. Factor analysis was carried out because there were quite a lot of variables used. so the variables need to be summarized. Factor analysis in this study is used to reduce the variables used (14 variables) so that the main factor is formed which is able to explain the maximum diversity of the total data. Meanwhile, the biplot analysis was used to obtain a provincial mapping based on the achievement of the nutrition program performance indicators. The data source used was obtained from the Ministry of Health with the object of research being 34 provinces in Indonesia. The results of the factor analysis show that there are four main factors that represent the original variables, namely the total diversity that can be explained is 72.64 percent. The results of the biplot for the combination of factor 1 and factor 2 form three groups of provinces with similar performance indicators for the nutrition program. Then the results of the biplot for a combination of factors 3 and 4 form four groups of provinces with similar performance indicators for the nutrition program.

The direct impact of the Covid19 pandemic is a decline in socio-economic activities, and reduced income and household’s purchasing power. The decline in purchasing power will then be followed by changes in household consumption patterns. This paper aims to examine changes in household consumption patterns during the Covid-19 pandemic by taking the case of changes in household consumption at the national level and Jambi Province. The results of the analysis show that household's consumption behavior during the COVID-19 pandemic has shifted in the short term. Household adjust their expenditure priorities in line with decreasing income. Household has continuesly prioritized expenditures on housing and household equipment, health and education, and other. In anticipation of a decrease in income, households will also maintain their consumption of food and beverages, and postpone spending on transportation and accommodation. Government and local government policies are very important to maintain household's purchasing power and at the same time restore household's ability to consume. This policy is largely determined by the effectiveness and timeliness of government and local government spending. Economic recovery policies need to be directed at increasing the production capacity of business actors to meet household consumption demand. Another finding is that economic recovery can only run well if it is supported by the implementation of health protocols in the provision of transportation and accommodation services. In addition, online business is also very important to support small and medium enterprises. Therefore, policy implication of this finding is that the government and local governments must facilitate the development of small and medium enterprises including access to capital, technology, information and marketing. In this, there should be a strong cooperation and partnerships following pentahelix approach: government, society, business actors, universities and the media in developing local and regional economy.

Untill 2010, Jambi Province had expanded its territory into 11 districts/cities untill 2010. One of the aims of regional expansion is forming new autonomous regions that have the independence regulating their own regions, especially in the economic sector. The regional economy is expected to grow and change so that regional income will increase. Economic growth is one of the general policy directions for the 2016- 2021 RPJMD Jambi Province which is in line with the national development agenda. The economic growth of Jambi Province in the last 4 years always been below the national growth. The achievement of economic growth in a region is of course supported by various factors. By using the Cobb-Douglas production function model, this study aims to examine that human capital as shown by the number of labor force and physical capital shown by the value of PMTB has a positive effect on economic growth in districts/cities in Jambi Province. The interaction between these variables can be used as input for the government in increasing the economic growth of districts/cities in Jambi Province. The econometric method used is panel data analysis in Jambi Province for the period 2016-2018. This study concludes that the variables of human capital and physical capital have a positive and significant effect on economic growth. Physical capital has a higher elasticity coefficient than the human capital variable. This shows that physical capital has a highest role in increasing the economic growth of districts/cities in Jambi Province or districts/cities economic in Jambi Province tend to in “capital intensive”.

This study aims to analyze the demand for female labors in Kulon Progo Regency based on social and demographic factors, namely education, marital status, status of women in the household, age, residence, training/courses, and status of migrant/non migrant. The influence of these social and demographic factors on the demand for women labor is calculated based on the size of the opportunities of the female workforce to get work (work). From this research it is expected to know the pattern of female labor demand seen from education, marital status, status of women in the household, age, residence, training/course, and status of migrants/ on-migrants as well as social and demographic factors affecting women's labor demand in Kulon Progo Regency. Based on Sakernas data 2013-2019, it is known that in 2017 the demand for male labor rather than the demand for female labor was at its highest. This study uses data from the 2017 National Labor Force Survey (Sakernas) data collection. The analytical method used is descriptive analysis (univariate and bivariate) and multivariate analysis with binary logistic regression models. The results showed that the opportunities for the female workforce in Kulon Progo Regency in 2017 to work were even greater when they were married, had low education, were not heads of households, lived in rural areas, had never attended training/courses and migrants.

Lampung Province is a province with leading access between Java and Sumatra. We know, Java is the region with the highest level of economic contribution to the national economy. Therefore, the economic stretch of the province in the past five years is estimated to have been affected positively. This study aims to see whether the improved economy that we represent is one of them through the economic growth rate in the province accompanied by a relatively small level of inter-regional inequality or an improved rate of economic growth accompanied by an ever widening level of inter-regional inequality. In theory, ideally high economic growth is offset by low levels of inter-regional inequality so that aspects of development equality are met. The method used is quantitative-descriptive analysis with 2013-2018 data series. Data for 2013- 2018 was deliberately chosen to see the latest conditions over the past five years. Based on Klassen's typology, in general economic growth between regions in Lampung Province is relatively advanced and fast-growing. This was followed also by inequality between regions in Lampung Province which was classified as low. The indicator of inequality can be seen in the Williamson index figures which are in the range of 0.2585-0.2797 with an average magnitude of 0.2679 (for all regencies/cities) and in the range of 0.2525-0.2667 with an average magnitude average reached 0.2591 (without cities) and Theil entropy index in the range 0.17562-0.17574 with an average amount of 0.17567 (for all regencies/cities) and is in the range 0.15370-0.15411 with an average amount of 0.15397 (without cities). However, during the 2013- 2018 disparities of inter-regional in Lampung Province tended to widen. This certainly must be a concern of the Lampung Provincial Government so that the resulting economic growth must be accompanied by a small regional imbalance.

Bengkulu Province is one of the poorest provinces in Sumatra. Before formulating poverty eradication policies in Bengkulu Province, it is necessary to measure expenditure inequality. This study aims to measure the expenditure inequality among the population of Bengkulu Province using the data from National Social economic Survey of March 2019. The measures of inequality used are 1) Decile Dispersion Ratio, 2) World Bank Criteria, 3) Theil Index, 4) Gini coefficient and 5) Atkinson Index. The calculation was performed utilizing statistical package R. The advantage of R is user friendly and can be downloaded for free. Based on the five measures of inequality, expenditure inequality in Bengkulu Province is low. This proves that although Bengkulu Province is the poorest provinces on the island of Sumatra, the economic condition is homogeneous. Poverty with low inequality will be easier to handle because economic growth can be benefited equally by the population. Therefore, one way to eradicate poverty in Bengkulu Province is to increase the economic growth of its population

This study aims to find out the innovation characteristics of large medium enterprises in Indonesia. In addition, this study aims to set the determinants of innovation using Poisson Regression and Negative Binomial Regression methods. This study processed 318.895 microdata of large-medium enterprises obtained from the 2016-Census of Economy- Advanced on Data Collection for Large-Medium Enterprises (UMB) and Micro-Small Enterprises (UMK) in 2017. Descriptive analysis results show that marketing innovation and product innovation are the most common types of innovation conducted by UMB in Indonesia. Internet usage and Business Development’s Plan variables are the most widely used indicators of innovation, while research and development (R&D) activities and ownership of intellectual property variables are the least indicators of innovation. The results of the inference analysis show that Internet usage; Patent/Copyright/Intellectual Property Rights; Partnership; Business Development’s Plan; R&D; Government’s Funding Support for R&D; Firm Size; and Workforce Training have significant influence toward the number of innovations conducted by large medium enterprises. All of the innovation indicators have a positive influence on the number of innovations, except government support for R&D.

One of the leading commodities contributing to exports and the largest surplus in the agricultural sector is tea. However, the trend of Indonesia's tea export volume shows a decline. Therefore, the volume of Indonesian tea exports in the next few years is necessary to be predicted in order to make careful planning related to Indonesian tea exports. The export trend can be predicted using the Autoregressive Integrated Moving Average (ARIMA) model. The data used is secondary data of time series monthly export volume from January 2014 to October 2020 published by the Central Statistics Agency (BPS). In general, Indonesia's tea export volume is experiencing a downward trend. However, based on the type, there was an increase in the export volume of bulk green tea (packs exceeding 3kg) and packaged black tea (packs not exceeding 3kg) which were projected by using ARIMA (0,1,1). The contribution to the export volume of tea does not exceed 30% of the total, but has a large enough potential so that it can be used as a mainstay in the future. Furthermore, the export volume of packaged green tea was projected using ARIMA (0.1.1) (1.0.0) [12] and bulk black tea was projected using ARIMA (1,1,2) (1,0,0) [12] . The projection shows a decline in export volume, both packaged green tea and bulk black tea, and tends to stagnate. In fact, bulk black tea is the mainstay of Indonesian tea exports. Therefore, there needs to be innovation in bulk black tea exports if government want to improve the volume of Indonesian tea exports. In addition, it is known that there are seasonal factors in forecasting the export volume of packaged green tea and bulk black tea. This needs to be investigated further in order to find other factors that affect Indonesia's export volume.

The population of Jambi Province who depends on the agricultural sector is 45.44% of the total working population. Jambi Province is one of the provinces whose dominant business sector is agriculture, therefore a measurement tool is needed to see the level of farmer welfare, one of which is the Farmer Exchange Rate (NTP). The NTP of Jambi Province from 2014 to 2019 was mostly still below the value of 100, which means that most farmers in Jambi Province are still prosperous. The purpose of this study was to determine the best ARIMA (Autoregressive Integrated Moving Average) periodic series model in forecasting NTP of Jambi Province. In addition, this study also aims to see the value of NTP forecasting for Jambi Province from January 2020 to June 2020. This study uses the ARIMA method using gretl software for its calculations. After going through various trials, the best model for predicting NTP in Jambi Province is the Multiplicative ARIMA Model (2,2,4) (0,0,1). Based on the forecasting results from January to June 2020, NTP in Jambi Province has a value above 100 for each months. This indicates that the level of welfare of farmers in Jambi Province in 2020 is predicted to increase. From the results of this study, suggestions can be given to the Jambi Provincial Government to be able to use forecasting in predicting NTP and to anticipate things that happen in the present and in the future that can affect the NTP of Jambi Province.
