Abstract

Bali is one of the tourist destinations that is growing rapidly in Indonesia. Most people when they hear about bali island are synonymous with exotics beach. Bali is famous with the beautiful beach panorama. One of tourist attraction in the Bali Island is Mertasari Beach. Mertasari beach is an indigenous Intaran village. In tourism management is done one way to approach community institutions, namely the indigenous village institutions. Intaran village is one of the indigenous villages that located in South Denpasar District. In terms of management in Mertasari Beach, Intaran village started to build a management in December 2014 by forming BUMDES (Owned Indigenous Village). However, management Mertasari Coast has not fully given to the village. In conducting the study authors used data collecting observation, interviews, documentation studies and literature studies with similar previous studies. These results indicate that the role of Indigenous Village in Beach Intaran in the management of Mertasari terms of existing management stage such as: Planning (Planning) covers, community empowerment programs, increase sustain ability in Mertasari Beach, improve hygiene in Mertasari Beach and financial planning. Organizing (Organizing) includes, forming management organizational structure is accompanied by a clear task. Mobilization of people (Actuating) include, mobilize communities in managing Mertasari Beach, and Supervision (Controlling) include, supervision in the field of employment, supervision in the field of security and supervision of the trader. Abstract

Village of Yehembang Kangin is one of tourism village which has various tourism potential inside which have not been optimized as a tourism destination or tourist attraction. The purpose of this studies to know potential of tourism in the Yehembang Kangin Village Tourism and know the efforts to development of tourism potential in the Yehembang Kangin Tourism Village. The research method used in this research, is a qualitative research, where the qualitative research used, observation, in-depth interview technique and qualitative documents. The concept of tourism supporting components in formulating the existing conditions in the Yehembang Kangin Tourism Village. And data analysis technique used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The results of this research is Yehembang Kangin Village have two potensial tourism among others is natural and culture potential tourism and the effort to the development of tourism potential in the Tourism Village Yehembang Kangin there are two aspects is mapping of tourist attractions and local community empowerment in the Village Tourism Yehembang Kangin. Abstract

Abstract Village tourism is growing significantly nowadays. It is happening because the transition of mass tourism becomes alternative tourism, which village tourism is a kind of alternative tourism. But, the significant growth of village tourism still facing problem. The problem is about marketing. One of village tourism that facing marketing problem is Blimbingsari Village Tourism. The main objective of this research is to find marketing strategies for Blimbingsari Village Tourism. Data were collected through observation, literature study and interviews the tourism manager that responsible in tourism at Blimbingsari, that is tourism committee. After collecting process, the data analyzed descriptively and analyzed the marketing strategies using the SWOT approach. The result of analysis showed that strength, weakness, opportunity and threat of Blimbingasri Village Tourism could created strategies that supported the marketing of that village tourism. Based on the analysis through the SWOT approach, the strategies are SO strategy that is packaging of product, WO strategy that is promotion, ST strategy that is repositioning, and WT strategy that is giving the extra service for tourist.

Abstract

Night entertainments become a special attraction for tourists to fulfill their holidays in Bali with just listening to the music’s or enjoying drinks provided in bars, discotheque/cafes. By these facilities, Bali become a magnet of both domestic and foreign tourists. The types of data used are qualitative and quantitative data, while the data sources used are primary data and secondary data. The data collecting is done with the observation field, in-depth interview, and questionnaires. Then the data were analyzed using descriptive qualitative with the record and explain the results cleary based on the formulation of a problem that has been determined, as well as questionnaires are analyzed using quantitative data as data supporters of the research. The results of this research explains that there are several different types of activities that can be done in place of evening entertainment, including dancing, enjoy music, and enjoy drinks and meals are offered in the café/restaurant. Then from the results of the questionnaire obtained the results that the response of local communities included in the stages of Apathy, which previously accepted as tourism sector economic growth but this time its presence was felt not to mention everything. Abstract

Pandawa beach officially launched by village governor in 2011, that then accepted as a tourist attraction by Badung government in 2014. As a tourist attraction, Pandawa beach had been given much changes just for five period of time. On it’s developing, on year of 2016 researcher heard some issues like changing management and divisioning tourist area at beach. According from these issues, the purposed of this reasearch is to compare management development at Pandawa beach in 2011 with 2016, that hope could give some depicts management changes that had been done by Pandawa beach management. This reasearch used some data collected technic, they were interview, observation, and documentation. The informants divided by based informant whom is Bendesa Adat Kutuh and key informants whom are manager and adiministration staff in Pandawa beach management. Analyze data was used comparative overtime analysis. The result of this comparison shows there are changes at each management function in Pandawa beach development, therefore from planning side, organizing, directing, and controlling. In planning side, alteration happened at nature attraction aspec, amenity, accessibility, tourist activity pattern, and institutional. Approach model which is use in Pandawa managemnt is model in form of the element manager’s governing body. To face these developments, manager of Pandawa beach must do some adviser for human resources intensively, re-evalution about future construction at beach area, and clarity management portion to stakeholders. Abstract

The study aims to determine Development Strategy the potency of the Tunda Island as a tourist attraction in the Serang Regency, Banten Province. How the development of appropriate strategy to overcome obstacles in the development of Tunda Island Coast region as a Marine Tourism attraction in Serang Regency, Banten Province. This study was conducted to determine the Tunda Island as a marine tourism destination Serang Regency were reviewed by using SWOT analysis. This study uses quialitative research methods with data collection techniques such as interviews, observation, and documentation studies. The results of the research carried out that Pulau Tunda as a marine tourism attraction in Serang Regency has the power in the form of underwater natural potential that is different from other islands in Serang Regency, besides Tunda Island has a considerable opportunity for increasing tourism needs and locations that tend to strategic. However, Pulau Tunda has weaknesses in the quality of human resources as well as low tourism support facilities and garbage that has not been managed properly. Abstract

The selection of this research topic is based on the seriousness of Semarang City Government to maximize the potential of culinary tourism. The development of culinary tourism is expected to support the existing tourism in SemarangCity. In this study,the researchers chose WaroengSemawis as the main focus of the research location. WaroengSemawis is a culinary night market located in the Chinatown area in ??Semarang City. Initially,WaroengSemawis was just a Lunar New Year SemawisMarket held only days before the Lunar New Yearday, but since 2004 WaroengSemawis became a regular event every weekend. There are many types of culinary available there, ranging from local cuisine to typical Chinese cuisine. In addition,there are also many historical Chinese templessurroundingWaroengSemawis area that have their own history as well. The purpose of this research is to analyze the potential of culinary tourism and the development strategy of the culinary tourism particularly at WaroengSemawis in Semarang City. The data usediin thisiresearchiis theitypeiof qualitativeiidata, whileitheidataisourceiisiprimaryidataiandisecondaryiidata. Data collection is done by observation, interview, literature study, and documentation. Data analysis techniqueusedin this study is SWOT to find out what strategies can be used. The results of this study indicate that there are still some shortcomings that must be developed by the management of WaroengSemawis. Theneed of additional public toilets, parking lots, as well as the addition of traditional culinary or culinary types of Semarang. By increasing some of these facilities, it can help boostingthe amenity and interest of tourists to visit WaroengSemawis so that it can leave a good impression on the tourists. Abstract

Abstract Kata Beach as a tourist attraction has the potential and uniqueness of the coastal tourist attraction in general. But with the potential and uniqueness of the tourist attraction that should Kata Beach can attract more tourists, because at this time the number of tourists visiting the tourist attraction Kata still little and visited only at certain times such as the feast of Eid al-Fitr and the day-to-day national holiday. Local people who trade or sell around Kata Beach tourist attraction has yet to obtain maximum profit. This is caused by the time they trade and sell uncertain because they only sell at the moment busy travelers, if not crowded tourists who visit them do not open a shop to sell. Obviously this becomes a problem for the manager of a tourist attraction Kata Beach. To overcome these problems the need for improvements made ??by the manager of a tourist attraction Kata, by way of knowing in advance how the characteristics of tourists visiting Kata Beach, as well as knowing how travelers perception of the condition of Kata Beach is a tourist attraction at this point. So from the data manager can analyze the intended target market and to facilitate the development of decision-making will be done. Collecting data in this study through observation, interviews, questionnaires, and Documentation studies. The type of data being used is supported by quantitative data and qualitative data. While the data sources used in the form of primary data and secondary data. Analysis using descriptive statistics which describe or illustrate the data that has been collected from a population, which is obtained by Likert Scale Data measurement techniques. Characteristics of tourists visiting the tourist attraction Kata very good variety of indicators of gender, age, education, occupation and region of origin. While the perception of tourists on Kata Beach scored poorly on 6 indicators of security, number of toilets, cleanliness of restrooms, parking lot security, parking attendants skills and number of security officers. So it is necessary to reform by the manager for the indicators that scored poorly perceived by the tourists who visit.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the obstacles in developing Subak Anggabaya as Agro tourism in Denpasar City. Data collection techniques used in this study are observations, interviews, and documentation studies, with data analysis techniques using Internal Factor Analysis (IFAS) and External Factor Analysis (EFAS) analysis techniques to identify obstacles in developing of Subak Anggabaya as Agro Tourism in the City Denpasar. The result of this research stated that the barriers in the development of Subak Anggabaya as agro tourism are the absence of formal management from institutions such as POKDARWIS (tourism related group in village community); the lack of awareness from the community about tourism potentialities in their area; the community has not been able to take significant steps/approaches in developing the tourism potentialities in their place; the absence of local tour guides; the similarity in developing new tourist attractions and the issues of land alteration that may threaten the existence of Subak Anggabaya. Abstract

Kuta Beach is known as tourist favourite attraction in Bali, it can be seen by the number of tourists visited Kuta Beach. However, the high level of tourists, travelers and local communities to Kuta Beach who use private vehicles create traffic jam at Kuta Beach. In this study aims to determine the perception of tourists, travelers and local communities if the implementation of public transport as a special means to Kuta Beach to reduce congestion caused by private vehicles. The research methodology used is quantitative method. With the technique of determining the number of samples using random sampling and quota sampling. In collecting the data using techniques study literature, observation, interviews, documentation, and distribution of the questionnaire to the 40 respondents. In a data analysis technique used descriptive qualitative method by utilizing the percentage of data. The results show the perception of tourists, travelers and local communities towards the implementation of transportation common in Kuta Beach, which answered agree as many as 16 people (40%) strongly agree 15 people (37.5%), undecided 5 people (12.5%), not agree 4 people (10%), strongly disagree 0 (0%). Thus the total percentage of the perception of tourists, travelers and local communities can be seen in the implementation of public transport in the Kuta Beach, the majority of local people answered agree but local communities said the hesitation and do not agree that the implementation of the proposal.
