Abstract

ABSTRACT Tahura Ngurah Rai mangrove forest development is an area that offers the potential beauty of wildlife and various species of mangrove. Purpose of the study is to examine the potential of Tahura Ngurah Rai and development strategies undertaken by the SWOT analysis approach. Method used is the method of collecting data through observation to the study site and structured interviews with managers Tahura Ngurah Rai. Data analysis method using qualitative analysis deskriptid. Results from this research that the potential is on offer in Tahura Ngurah Rai is the potential landscape and scenery that includes mangrove forests and rivers are long, which will lead to Teluk Benoa. potential diversity of mangrove species, have 46 types including 27 species of mangrove-dominated families and types true mangrove species ( sonneratia alba, rhizophora apiculata, avicennia marina, aegiceras corniculatum), and socio-cultural potential that exists around the region Tahura Ngurah Rai is the number of places of worship (sacred) which provide opportunities Tahura Ngurah Rai spiritual tourists.

Abstract

Bali has various tourism potentials both natural and cultural which yet to be explored and identified further in order to be developed to become tourist attractions, with feasible facilities available that can be offered. Sangeh Village is one of tourist villages in Badung Regency which has various tourism potentials and one of it is Tourist Attraction of Alas Pala Sangeh. In addition there are still many other tourism potentials which are yet to be developed and promoted optimally. Therefore this research was conducted to identify tourism potentials existed at Tourist Village of Sangeh. The method being used in this research was qualitative method with data sampling technique through observations, in depth interviews, and literature studies so that able to identify tourism potentials existed at Tourist Village of Sangeh. The result of this research shows that the Village of Sangeh is one of customary villages in Bali which has various tourism potentials so that the Village of Sangeh is called a Tourist Village. The potentials owned by Tourist village of Sangeh is in the form of physical and non-physical potentials. Physical potentials referred to among others are Tourist Garden of Mumbul, Tourist Attraction of Alas Pala Sangeh and Pondok Jaka, whereas non-physical potential is Trekking activity managed by POKDARWIS Bukit Sari Sangeh, an institution that supervise Sangeh Traditional Activity.This research aims to identificate potentials of tourism available in Tourist Village of Sangeh. Abstract

This research was carried out because there were problems regarding the exploitation of tourism business development in the cliff border area in Pecatu Village, South Kuta District, Badung Regency. Exploitation that occurs like tourism business development. The tourism business is like accommodation and restaurants. So researchers are interested in researching on the topic. The research method used is qualitative analysis, with interview, observation and documentation techniques. Theories and concepts used are functional theories and concepts of exploitation, tourism policies, borderline cliffs and tourism businesses. The results of the study show that there are 157 tourism business buildings in Pecatu Village, and some of them are recorded using cliff borders. As for the dominant tourism business using a cliff border, namely hotel and restaurant accommodation businesses. From the violation, the government of Pecatu Village and Badung Regency Government gave a policy in the form of awig-awig and written regulations to regulate these violations. The conclusions in this study were the violation of tourism business development in Pecatu Village which uses a cliff border area. Massive businesses are being built in hotel and restaurant accommodation businesses. so that from this case the government of Pecatu Village and the Badung Regency Government issued a policy to regulate these violations so as not to occur again. Researchers suggest that they need to be given strict sanctions against offenders, or direct demolition by the Desa Adat, because the Desa Adat in Bali is feared by investors. Abstract

Facts indicate the potential of tourism in the Central Sumba Regency has not been able to attract tourist arrivals. The role stakeholders, especially SKPD Department of Culture and tourism (Disbudpar) Central Sumba Regency have a heavy duty to make tourism development. The method used was a case study approach (inductive) using qualitative methods. Data were analyzed using qualitative data analysis techniques with presentation techniques qualitative descriptive data. The results of this research are the role Disbudpar Kab. Central Sumba in tourism development constrained human resources issues and other findings are necessary translation of roles more effectively and efficiently with attention to personal ability, social skills and intellectual abilities in the future culture. The next finding is the difficulty Disbudpar Kab. Central Sumba in the implementation of the work plan caused by many factor. It is important to consider in the future development of tourism is the attention to the internal and external coordination and the determination of the potential market rating that will facilitate the development of tourism attractions such as the establishment or featured travel products and preparation of human resources, infrastructure and other supporting facilities.

Abstract

Nowadays travel is dominated by millenial generation, millenial generation is the first generation which grow in digital environment or digital native. The purpose of this study is to explore the factors which influence travel of millennial generation. The main topic discussed in this study is general characteristic of the millenial travel in Bali, the motivation and meaning of travel. The topic discussed in this study show that millenial generation unlike the previous generation when traveling, showing millennial generation have their own travel characteristics and different technologies, play a massive role in travel choices. This research is a descriptive quantitative and descriptive qualitative research. Quantitative research is conducted to determine the characteristics and motivation of millenial tourists by using frequency analysis. Qualitative research is used to know the meaning of travel after a tour. This study used 100 respondents representing the characteristics and motivation of millennial tourists in Bali and semi structured interview with 6 people to know the meaning of millenial generation travel in Bali, as well as techniques of determining informants using Accidental Sampling. The result of this research, that technology is very important for the millennial generation when traveling. The results found that 73% of millennial tourists prefer spend money for a trip to materialistic ownership. The motivation to look for something and attractive, culture and other uniqueness is the highest recorded. The meaning of travel which tourists get is a human right, fundamental needs, health, soul development and education. Most of millennials tell their journey in Bali as an unforgettable experience of culture, nature and other uniqueness. Keywords : Millenial Tourist, Characteristics, Motivation, and Personal Meaning

Abstract

ABSTRACT Payang Hill is a Hilly area that has been the potential of tourism in the Batur Tengah Village. Payang Hill already begin tourists visited in 2010, with the number of tourists still slightly. Potency resources of the still quite natural, so it become a tourist atrraction. The research is oriented at kronowlge the use and potency of the Payang Hill as a natural tourist atrracton in district of Kintamani, Expected to be able provide and answer the problem formulation, what the potency of the regional as Payang Hill natural atrractions and how the utilization of the regional as  Payang Hill natural atrractions. This study uses primary and secondary data sources, whereas the type of data used is also quantitative, and qualitative data. Collecting data through observation, interviews, documentation, and library research. Descriptive analysis of qualitative. The result of the research : 1) Payang Hill can be developed into a tourist attraction, because it has the potencies such as natural, cultural, and education. 2) Payang Hill already to implimentation to use the potency with how to package and create a means of support for tourism activities for tourist.

Abstract

Tourism is one of the industry sectors that contribute to the economy in the form offoreign exchange for many countries. With the presence of tourism will be the creation of new jobs. The participation of local communities in the company existing in its territory rafting will give rise to a sense of belonging to a destination. This research aims to know the participation of local communities in the BMW company rafting in the village of Rendang. Method of data collection is done by the way of observasi, in- depth interviews, and the study of librarianship. The technique of determination of the informant is done by means of purposive sampling, this research included in the qualitative research generates data deskriftif. With the presence of tourism opportunities, then revealing the many job opportunities that are owned by local people. Especially on a rafting company BMW employs local people as employees. With the involvement of local communities in the absorption of labor in the company of rafting can help boost the economy of local communities so that local communities can participate in the company as well as participate in maintaining the tourism destinations Keywords : Community Participation, Tourism Management, Bali Mitra Wahana Rafting

Abstract

The conservation potential of Leatherback Sea Turtle in Jamursba Medi Spawning Beach is for ecotourism attraction. This research was conducted at PeneluranJamursbaMedi Beach. This research was conducted to find out the potential of Leatherback Sea Turtle at JamursbaMediSpawningBeach as ecotourism attraction in Tambrauw Regency and also to find out the form of cooperation of Stakeholders in the area of Jamursba Medi Spawning Beach, Regency of Tambrauw, Province of West Papua. The type of data being used in this research was qualitative and quantitative with primary and secondary data source obtained through data sampling technique of depth interview observation, literature study with informant determination technique of purposive sampling and data analysis technique of descriptive qualitative. The result of research shows that in the area of Spawning Beach, Leatherback Sea Turtles have a potential to support tourism development in the form of natural, cultural and human. These three potencies are the assets to give contribution for tourism development and management of coastal park and has potential for ecotourism sector. So participation and active role of stakeholders namely Government, Population, and non-governmental organizations / WWF (World Wildlife Fund) is required for advancement and development in the area of Jamursba Medi Spawning Beach. Abstract

ABSTRACT This study is about the development of Ijen Crater area as a tourism destination in Banyuwangi Regency. Ijen Crater is an active volcano, so it is always in the monitoring of volcanology center. When Ijen Crater conditions are not allowed to be visited, then the volcanology center immediately inform the natural resources conservation center in order to make a warning to tourists not to do climbing activity. Travelers who had already come disappointed with the prohibition. By the uncertain situation, there are need a strategy to make alternative activities.  The new tourist activities carried out in the Ijen Crater area, so that tourists can still enjoy the travel without climbing Ijen Mountain. The whole existing condition of the potential in the ijen crater and surroundings area, it is important to analyze using indicators of special interest tourism concept. There are several potential was found, grouped into three categories that is, natural potential, artificial potential and cultural potential. The results of this analysis are used to determining some special interest tourism activities that appropriated and could be done in the Kawah Ijen as a tourism destination. Furthermore, indication of the programs and stages of development neeed to be designed using the three main steps that must be done, that is: short-term, medium-term and long-term development. Implementation of development carried out in accordance with the specified time. The development stages are expected could be monitoring the development of Ijen Crater area and also can make Ijen Crater area as a quality tourism destination.

Abstract

Pandawa Beach is one of beaches thatlocatedon the south coast of Bali Island, exactly in Kutuh Village, Kuta Selatan Subdistrict, Badung-Regency. This beach is visited by hundreds of domestic tourists everyday. White sand, shallow beach, limestone hill, and also the clean torquoise water being photography or selfie objects in every single day by domestic tourists. The photos-averagely uploaded to social medias everyday. This activity surely will affect many people to come and visit to Pandawa Beach. Thus, this case made the background of choosing the topic “Facebook’sEffecttoward Visiting-Decision of Domestic Tourists toPandawa Beach” to be researched. The goal of this research is to determine the significance of Facebook’s effect toward-visiting decision of domestic-tourists to Pandawa Beach. The research method that used-in this research are quantitative research method with validity test analysis, reliability test, frequency test, t-test, and correlation analysis to analyze the-Facebook’s effecttoward visiting decision toPandawa Beach. Data sources are gained from primary data and secondary data. Data collecting technique used observation method, documentation, and using-questionnaires. Sample of tourists determination technique used in this research is incidental sampling technique. This research is also limited with theory of planned behavior, concept of social media, concept of visiting decision, and concept of tourists. The results of this research isthat-Facebook haseffecttoward the visiting decision of domestic tourists in Pandawa Beach but the effectis weak. This is caused that the tourist who visits-Pandawa Beach also have references of another good beaches in online social media so the Pandawa Beach is not the location that prioritized or the only one tourist attraction that chosen-to be visited by domestic tourists.
