Perkembangan sektor pariwisata berawal dari dikenalnya suatu destinasi wisata termasuk aspek perencanaan, penataan, pengelolaan dan dampak yang ditimbulkannya sehingga menjadi kajian menarik para pemerhati pariwisata. Hasil dari kajian-kajian tersebut memerlukan media ilmiah untuk diketahui khalayak sebagai publikasi ilmiah, termasuk merupakan ”branded” yang menunjukkan kuantitas dan kualitas suatu perguruan tinggi. Melalui jurnal Destinasi Pariwisata, hasil penelitian, survei dan tulisan ilmiah populer kepariwisataan dipublikasikan sebagai salah satu upaya memberikan sumbangan dari dunia akademis kepada sektor pariwisata.

Abstract

The tourism development in Indonesia has increase rapidly,as the statistical data shows that the number of foreign tourist visits Indonesia in June 2018 escalate 15.21 percent compared to June 2017, specifically from 1.14 million visits up to 1.32 million visits. Indonesia are improving their tourism sector, for example the Banyuwangi City. One of the tourist attractions with its natural potential is Wonoasih Pine Forest., lot of activities that can be packaged into tourism attractions.This study used qualitative approach method, qualitative and quantitative data obtained directly by observation, interview and documentation, and data analysis techniques in this study used SWOTanalysis which is a qualitative analysis tool that is done by examining internal and external factors.By using SWOT analysis, four strategies are produced in the packaged of trekking tourism activities, specifically: (1) SO strategy which contains the design of trekking tourism products and opening up jobs, (2) WO strategy which contains institutional development and tourism human resources, (3) ST strategy which contains increased security, enchance accident insurance and regulations on maintaining natural surroundings and cleanliness, and (4) WT strategy which contains market penetration and promotion of trekking tours as well as routine socialization of destination branding. Abstract

Gintangan Village is famous for its woven bamboo education tourism, but its culinary tourism is still not widely known. One of the local culinary can be used as a component of the reputation formation of culinary tourism in Gintangan Village is Sego Jajang. However, the lack of introduction of the Sego Jajang brand to the public has resulted in the lack of people knowing it. The purpose of this study was to determine the extent to which the image of Sego Jajang in the eyes of the local community, as well as the efforts that can be made to strengthen the brand image of Sego Jajang. This research method uses descriptive qualitative analysis techniques of reduction, display, and conclusion drawing (verification). The results of the research from 30 sample people showed 25% of the community called Sego Jajang and Tempe Godhong as the local culinary delights of Gintangan Village. 86% stated that they know the whereabouts of Sego Jajang. The whole local community stated that they did not know the history of Sego Jajang. The level of ignorance for materials, tools, and the process of making Sego Jajang is still high, while for information on where to buy it the majority knows. 87% stated that the role of the Gintangan Village Government was still not optimal. 42% stated that social media used was Facebook. Besides, 93% gave their future roles in the form of online and offline promotions. Based on the results of the research, it is necessary to implement a brand strategy to identify and overcome the shortcomings of the brand image of Sego Jajang. Abstract

Adventure tourism is an outdoor activity that has grown and developed in recent years and is becoming increasingly popular as a nature-based regional development model. Adventure activities, especially mountain bikes, are mostly carried out by tourists visiting Bali. Karangasem Regency has a unique geographical condition in the form of a mountainous area that strongly supports the development of mountain biking activities. By examining the potential of adventure tourism owned by Karangasem Regency, it can be seen that the supporting resources of adventure tourism in the implementation of mountain biking activities in Karangasem Regency can be identified.This research is a qualitative research with a phenomenological approach. It uses purposive sampling and snowball sampling to determine and select informants. The data were collected by using a participatory observation by trying mountain bike activities in mountain area and interview the informants. The data analysis applied the content and meaning analysis using a qualitative descriptive method. The theory used in the analysis is adventure approach theory and tourism development components.The results of the analysis reveal that the supporting resources for mountain biking activities that are not yet fully available are contained in the location criteria related to permits and regulations, so that an appropriate plan is needed in order to meet the basic criteria in the completeness of supporting resources for adventure tourism. While the criteria for activity, security, natural resources and the environment, as well as the operational sector are almost entirely available, requiring development that is in accordance to make a sustainable mountain biking activities in Karangasem Regency. Abstract

This research explains about coffee agrotourism developing strategy in Tempur Village, Keling, Jepara,Central Java. The main potential of this village is coffee products, but these coffee products are only for souvenirs andthere are no plans to develop it as an agrotourism. Looking back at this issue, it needs to do a deep research ondeveloping coffee agrotourism so it will be a good product from this village. This research is focused on analyzingagrotourism developing plans, especially coffee estate which has not developed yet in this village. This research hastwo scopes which are limited by two variables, the first one is the existing condition of Tempur Village includingprofile, potential, and tourism product component, the second one is developing village potential including coffeeagrotourism developing strategy using SWOT (Atraction, Aminities, Accessibilitiy, Ancelery) analysis.The result of this research explains that Tempur Village has a potential to be developed as coffeeagrotourism, because this region has fertile soil, large coffee estate and natural environment. In developing coffeeagrotourism needs good preparation from the government, coffee farmers, and also local residents so it will be inharmony. Coffee farmers empowerment, local residents and attractive coffee product packaging production needs tobe taught in developing coffee agrotourism. Furthermore, upgrading village facilities to reach the tourismdestination needs to be done to support tourism development, so the plans which have been planned can run well.With the plans of coffee agrotourism development, it is hoped to be useful for academics and the government in orderto increase science.Keyword: Strategy of Developing Coffe Agrotourism.

Abstract

This study aims to identify whether the image of the destination, tourist facilities, accessibility, and word of mouth affect the revisit intention of tourists to the Malahayu Reservoir Tourist Attraction. The sample used in this study amounted to 100 people who were taken using purposive sampling technique. Meanwhile, multiple linear regression was used to analyze the data that had been collected. The results obtained from data analysis, namely simultaneously the destination image, facilities, accessibility, and word of mouth variables have a significant effect on revisit intention. Partially, the image of the destination has a positive but not significant effect on revisit intention. Meanwhile, the accessibility variable does not partially affect revisit intention. However, the facilities and word of mouth variables partially have a positive and significant effect on the revisit intention of tourists to the Malahayu Reservoir Tourist Attraction. From the results of this study, provide recommendations to local governments and tourism managers to improve the quality of facilities in tourist areas and improve access road conditions to tourist attractions that have been damaged. In addition, to improve the image of the destination, it can be done by developing regional cultural activities and attractions in tourist areas. Including improving governance, infrastructure, and cleanliness of tourist attractions as an effort to develop the Malahayu Reservoir destination. Abstract

Surabaya is the capital of East Java Province as well as the center of the Gerbangkertosusila megacities. Surabaya as an urban area with various functions has resulted in urban tourism, one of which is Pakuwon City. Pakuwon City, which is a residential area with various facilities that can be used in general, is also the main attraction for visitors to carry out various tourist activities in Pakuwon City.This research uses quantitative method. The sources of data in this research were compiled based on quantitative and qualitative data types using primary data in the form of observations and questionnaires, as well as secondary data obtained through literature study. The sample used was 37 respondents obtained through accidental sampling from visitors who had visited Pakuwon City. The data obtained were analyzed using descriptive, frequency distribution, and spatial models.The result of this research is that Pakuwon City has three pull factors which include high density, concentrating on commercial, financial, industrial and hospital activities, as well as providing artistic and recreational experiences. Eight tourist attractions in Pakuwon City are classified based on their main function as factors that attract visitors to visit Pakuwon City. This pull factor causes the movement of visitors which is dominated by the movement to the tourist attraction Pakuwon Town Square with many activities carried out, namely shopping. Abstract

The Smart City of Bandung city is one of the best in Indonesia because it has received various awards ofSmart City from Asia’s Tech Ecosystem Magazine 2015, the Smart City of Bandung City was established in 2016 andhas had plans since 2013. The research aims to see whether the smart city in its implementation can make SmartTourism Destinations in Banduung City. This research uses two data sources, namely primary data and secondarydata. The data collection techniques in this research are documents. Abstract

The purposes of this study are to compare the waste management system used in the Tourism Attraction of Candikusuma Beach Jembrana and Kuta Beach Badung, and to compare each waste management system. Comparisons are made to find out the similarities, differences, advantages and disadvantages of each waste management system. The method used in this research is qualitative. This type of research is a comparative study. The data source used is a secondary data source. This research is based on research results from Prabawa (2019) and Megawan (2018) research. The results of this study show that the waste management system at Candikusuma Beach Jembrana uses a 3R waste management system (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle), while Kuta Beach Badung uses a 4P waste management system (Sorting, Processing, Collecting, Transporting). There are similarities and differences in the two waste management systems, and there are also weaknesses and strengths of each waste management system. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the integration of tourist attractions in tourism object integrations of Pantai Air Manis, Gunung Padang, and Pantai Padang on the business side. This research used descriptive and inductive and inductive analysis with multiple regression methods and purposive sampling techniques to collect the data. Furthermore, to know the influence of tourism expenses, government assistance, economic activity, and the investment to tourism objects integration in Padang City. This study found the integration of tourism objects in Padang are working relatively well with the average integration degrees at 70,68 percent based on integration rage 59,60-82,00 percent. Tourism expenses, investment, and government assistance have a significant effect on tourism integration. This study recommends West Sumatra government increase the supports and investment to attract more tourists at tourism object integration in Padang City.
