Abstract

Abstract.The research purpose are knowing process and result of development of mathematics learning materials by CTL ( Contextual Teaching and Learning) and problem solving with Polya Method. This research was held in SMPN 10 Jember at seventh grade. The topic of this research is resolving problem related to quadrilateral. The research has product namely Lesson Plan, worksheet, and evaluation test.The development of this learning materials refers to Plomp model which has 5 phases. They are phases of preliminary investigation; phase of design; phase of realization or contruction; phase of test, evaluation and revision; and phase of implementation.The learning material is said good if it satisfies 3 criterias. Abstract

Abstrak. Sebagai guru kita menyadari bahwa Matematika cenderung dipandang sebagai mata peljaran yang dianggap sulit, ditakuti dan kalau bisa dihindari oleh sebagian siswa. Padahal siswa seharus nya menyadari kemampuan berfikir logis, rasional, kritis, cermat dan efektif adalah menjadi ciri pengajaran matematika. Karena itu kreatifitas sebagai guru dalam mengajarkan matematika akan menjadi faktor kunci agar matematika menjadi pelajaran yang menarik didalam kelas, tidak lagi ditakuti dan dihindari. Untuk itu tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah bagaimana seorang guru bisa menjadikan siswa tertarik dalam mempelajarai matematika dengan cara memperbaiki cara pembelajaran, tekhnik mengajar dan lain-lain. Sehingga pada Kompetensi Dasar Menggunakan bentuk aljabar untuk memecahkan masalah, termasuk masalah aritmatika, akan lebih menarik dipelajari oleh siswa dan juga mudah dipahami. Selanjutnya kita akan tahu upaya untuk meningkatkan kemampuan dan kreatifitas dalam menyelesaikan soal cerita. Sedangkan siswa yang menjadi obyek penelitian adalah siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 1 Mumbulsari. Dari hasil penelitian terungkap bahwa masih banyak siswa yang masih merasa kesulitan untuk menyelesaikan soal cerita. Sehingga penulis tertarik untuk menelitinya, dan ternyata faktor utamanya adalah terletak bagaimana cara kita kita menyampaikan dan memberi metode pengerjaannya, Agar mudah dipahami oleh siswa. Dengan menggunakan metode pemodelan Matematika akan mempermudah siswa mengubah bentuk cerita ke dalam kalimat matematikan dalam bentuk aljabar. Kata Kunci : Keterampilan Menyelesaikan Soal, Metode Pemodelan

Abstract

Abstract: This researchwas aimedto describe the process of the development of a characterbased Mathematics Learning Material basedon Whole Brain Teaching methodwith Manga Studio for cubes and cuboid topics at eight gradejunior high school. The learning developmental model refers to four D models proposed by Thiagarajan. The products of this research are lesson plan, student book, worksheet, and evaluation test.The resultsshow that the coeficient of validaty for each product are lesson plan reachs 0,94, student book reachs 0,91, work sheet reachs 0,91, and evaluation test reachs 0,82. it can be concluded that the characterbased Mathematics Learning Material basedon Whole Brain Teaching methodwith Manga Studio have fulfilledthe validity, practice, and effective criteria. Student worksheetsdevelopment model refers to 4D Thiagarajan models which has 4 steps namely define, design, develop, and disseminate. The worksheetconsistsoffiveprocess standards, namelyproblem solving, reasoningandproof, communication, connections, andrepresentation. All productsobtainedin this research have satisfied validity, practicality and effective criteria. Their scores are respectively4.33forvalidity, 89.55% forpracticality, 88 % foreffectiveness. It can be concluded that those products can be used as mathematics learning material in a class. Abstract

Abstract.The research aimed to know the level ofunderstanding ofjunior high school mathematicsteachers for assessment, the developmentassessment and the implementation ofassessment injunior high school mathematicsteachers in Tempeh Subdistrict. The research subject is six junior high school from eight junior high school in Tempeh Subdistrict. The data collection methods used in this research is questionnaire, observation, interview, and documentation. Based on research it shows thatthe level ofunderstanding ofjunior high school mathematicsteachers about assessment in Tempeh Subdistrict as much as 60,17%, 75,00% mathematicsteachershad developedassessment, and 53,91% mathematicsteachershadconducted assessmentin accordance with BSNP. Abstract

Abstract. One of compulsory subject taught in SMPLB-A is mathematic. Geometry is known as part of mathematic. SMPLB-A student also learn rectangle and square but there is only few media and worksheet that can make them learn independently. This research is developing a worksheet based on four-D models. The developed Braille worksheet have to satisfy validation criteria, effectiveness criteria and practicality criteria. After analize data from research process, obtained that validation average value (Va) is 3,77 which means this Braille worksheet is valid. The effectiveness criteria is obtained from student’s and teacher’s activity which indicate that the activity is satisfy ideal time, so the Braille worksheet is effective. For practicality criteria, we use questionnaire to student. From the questionnaire, value percentage reach 86,25% which indicates that the Braille worksheet at good category and satisfy the practicality criteria. After Braille worksheet fullfill the validation, practicality and efectifeness criteria, this worksheet can be disseminated to school. Key Words: blind student, Braille worksheet, 4-D models.

Abstract

Abstract: In 2013, there were changes of curriculum in Indonesia. The name of new curriculum is 2013 curriculum. The difference of 2013 curriculum is the student book has been provided by The Goverment. Analysis on student book is needed for reviewing the suitability of student book by 2013 curriculum formulation. Analysis was done based on four criteria, that are competence, material, scientific approach and authentic assessment. Research instrument was form of questions that consist of : 11 competence questions, 11 material questions, 10 scientific approach questions, and 8 authentic assessment questions. Analysis result showed the persentage of competence suitability is 80,49% (good categories), for the persentage of material suitability is 81,06% (good categories), for the persentage of scientific approach suitability is 95,83% (very well categories), and the persentage of authentic assessment suitability is 88,80% (very well categories). Abstract. Metrice dimension with connected resolving set is a minimal cardinality from resolving set on graph G that make metrice representation from every point v on graph G to the resolving set W different each other and every point of resolving set must be connected each other. For example G is a connected graph and W = {w1,w2,...,wk} are element of V. for every v∈V, position vectorr (v|W)=(d(v,w1),d(v,w2),...,d(v,wk)) are called metrice representation from v to W. Whenevery different point on V has different metrice representation, so W is called resolving set of G. Minimum cardinality from a resolving set of G for the next is call Metrice dimension of G that has been notation with dim(G). Resolving set of W is said connected if induction subgraph of <W> doesn't have a separated point. Minimum cardinality of connected resolving set from G is called connected resolving set of G that been notation with nr(G). In this research develop Metrice dimension with connected resolving set on special graph of tree specially on star graph, E graph, reguler catepillar graph, reguler banana tree grap hand reguler fireworkgraph. The result from this research is a theorem that indicated minimum cardinality of connected resolving set ornr(G) and how the link between metrice dimension with High Order Thinking Skill (HOTS). Abstract. Mathematics is a study that is useful for human life such as becoming a basic of modern technology development, having an important role in many sciences and increasing human thoughts. Mathematic connection is inspired because it is not partitioned in many separated topics, but it is a unity. Besides, mathematics also can not separate from the other sciences and problems in human life. Without mathematic connection, the tudents must study and memorize too many concepts and mathemathics' procedure that is separated away from the others.
