Abstract

The purpose of this study was to  know how much Contributions farming  rice on Family Farm income in the village Ogoamas II  District North Sojol Donggala.  The research was conducted in January until March 2014. The determination of the respondents was conducted using a random sample (simple random sampling), with consideration of the number of respondents who were taken in the study of 30 farmers. The analysis used in this study is analysis income. The study results showed that the average/ha income received by farmers for rice fields where the average income of  Rp. 21,354,507.27. Corn farming an average income of Rp 3,959,324.95. Peanut farming an average of  income Rp.13,485,193.66. Cocoa farming, an average income of Rp. 1,819,418.92. Coconut Copra farming an average income of  Rp.3,707,.395.60. The amount of revenue contribution rice farming to farming families, reaching 48,18%, while the revenue contribution  8,94% of farm corn, peanut farming 30,43%, and  4,11%, cocoa farming, and farming coconut copra 8,37%. Rice farming provided the largest contribution compared to other farming.

Abstract

The study aims to determine the amount of revenue earned and expenses incurred, know the size of the resulting production and sales value received in the Village Oyster Mushroom Business District of Mpanau Biromaru Sigi. The study was conducted in the village of Oyster Mushroom Business District of Mpanau Biromaru Sigi in October to December 2015.                 The respondents consisted of two persons namely business owners and labor one person of Business Oyster Mushrooms. The results indicate the that study: (1). The revenue the that oyster mushroom business are products IDR. 5,250,000/month with a production cost of IDR. 3,032,268/month, in order to obtain of revenue IDR. 2,217,732/month. (2). The break even point for the product achieved in the oyster mushroom production volume as much as 51 kg at a price of IDR. 35,000/kg, the sales value of IDR. 1,785,000/month. This could mean that if these efforts produce results of more than 51 kg or gain more acceptance, then the business will have an advantage, otherwise if the business is producing less than 51 kg or receiving less then this business will suffer losses. Key Words: Analysis of break event point, Oyster mushroom business in Mpanau Viilage.

Abstract

Indonesia is an archipelago located in the equatorial region and is known as one of the nation’s largest owner of forest products in the world, one of which is a resin. The forestry sector marketing activities of forest product is an economic activity that play a role linking the interest of producers (tapper) with consumer. Marketing result are expected to provide a proportional benefit to producers and actors in accordance with the marketing cost, risks and sacrifices that have been issued. The purpose of this research was to determine is the form of marketing channel, the amount of the marketing margin resin in each marketing channel, the part of the price received by the tapper (producer) resin in each marketing channel, and the marketing efficiency gum resin in each marketing channel.This research was conducted in the village of Malino Jaya Soyo Jaya District North Morowali in May to August 2015. Tapper take as much as 34 respondents drawn from the entire population. In addition, to determine the respondent merchant totalling 3 respondent used Tracing Sampling Method.The result of analysis showed the gum resin marketing channels in the village of Malino Jaya Soyo Jaya District North Morowali Country consists of 2 channels, namely :Tapper → Traders → Wholesalers → Custumers (Exporters)Tapper → Wholesalers → Custumers (Exporters)Total marketing margin of the gum resin in the marketing channel I is Rp. 3.100,00/kg and the marketing margin resin on marketing channel II is Rp. 2.100,00/kg. The part of prices received by farmer on channel I at 77,21% and the part of the price received by farmer on channel II at 81,56%. On both of the marketing channel, the marketing channel II more efficienctly than the marketing channel I, because the ratio between the price received by the custumers with the total marketing cost per kilogram on channel II at 38,75 , higher than the channel I is 34,57. Key Words: Gum Resin. marketing channel, marketing margin, marketing efficiency.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the total costs, production volume, sales price and the amount of paddy farm income in the village Baluase South Dolo Sigi districts. The research was conducted in January to February 2015. The Respondent is done by simple random sampling method (Simple Random Sampling), considering that the number of respondents who were taken in the study were 20 farmers. The analysis used in this study is an analysis of income. The results showed that the average/ha income received by farmers for rice farming where the use of balanced fertilizer  average income of Rp 20.91405 million/ha, while the average income does not use a balanced fertilizer Rp 8.2358 million/ha. By means paddy rice farming which uses balanced fertilizer gave the comparison of real incomes compare to the one not using balanced fertilizer.

Abstract

This research aimed to identify the factors that affect the production and the amount of income on wetlandrice farmin Minti Makmur Village Riopakava Subdistrict Donggala Regency. The determination of respondents was carried out through Simple Random Sampling Method.     The number of samples was 31 people taken from a population of 102. The analytical tool used was the functional production analysis of Cobb-Douglass and income analysis. The results of the researchshowed that the area of land, seed,urea fertilizer, ponska fertilizer, while sp36 fertilizer and meanwhile significantly effected on the production of wetland rice farmat 95%. The results of the analysis indicated that the average income was in the amount of IDR.22,096,451.61/1.31ha/planting season orIDR. 16,867,538.77/ha/planting season. Key Words : Farming, income,production, wetland rice.

Abstract

The aims of this study were to predict soil erosion and to determine erosion threat index occurred in the Paneki watershed, Pombewe village Biromaru district Sigi Regency, Central Sulawesi. This study contributed as a source of information for the development of land use management as well as conservation of soil and water. Furthermore, it was important to complete a number of soil physical properties. The method used in this study was descriptive explorative by conducting survey in the research site, followed by primary and secondary data collection. In this study, it was required slope class maps, soil maps and land use maps application using ArcGIS 10.0 for obtaining four (4) land units, namely land, secondary forest, mixed farms, fields and cocoa plantations. Results of this study indicated that the physical characteristics of soil in some land use vary greatly with slow to moderate permeability, soil texture dominated by sandy loam and loam fractions. Both bulk density and C-organic content were high. Prediction of soil erosion rate using the USLE (Universal Soil Loss Equation) formula indicated that erosion threat index occured in Paneki watershed was classified at low to moderate levels with the average number of total allowable erosion was 74.12 tons ha-1 yr-1.

Abstract

This research aims to study the influence of cow manure on the growth and yield of chinese cabbage. This research is compiled using a randomized block design with seven treatment consists of one level ie dosing cow manure, without the provision of cow manure, a dose of 10 ton ha-1,   a dose of 20 ton ha-1, a dose of 30 ton ha-1, dose 40 t ha-1, a dose of 50 t ha-1 doses of 60 ton ha-1. Each unit treatment was repeated three times so that there are 21 experimental units. The observed variables include plant height, leaf number and weight of the crop in a plots. The results showed that treatment of cattle manure at a dose of 60 ton ha-1 (equivalent to 25.92 kg plot-1) gives better results than other treatments on observations of plant height, leaf number and weight of the crop.Key Words: Chinese Cabbage, cow manure.

Abstract

This research aimed to evaluate soil quality criteria in Sigi Biromaru District Sigi Regency based on some types of land use. The research method used was descriptive-explorative method which its variables were conducted through field surveys and supported by soil analysis from laboratory. Results of soil analysis were then assessed its quality by using scoring method at each indicator. Results of this research showed that soil in Sigi Biromaru District Sigi Regency based land use had soil quality criteria ranged from healthy soil to less healthy soil. On mixed farming area had the highest scoring value 2.83 (healthy soil criteria), whilst rice field had scoring value 2.66 (less healthy soil criteria) and on horticulture area had the lowest scoring value 2.5 (less healthy soil criteria).Key Words: Land use, soil quality.

Abstract

The research aimed to obtain the better concentration of liquid organic fertilizer on the growth of each cacao, compare the growth of cleft grafting seedling of Sul 1 and Sul 2 cacao clones and gain the concentration of liquid organic fertilizer which was better on the growth of early grafting cacao seedling. The research was conducted in December 2015 to February 2016 in Green House of Faculty of Agriculture, Tadulako University. The research used two-factor Randomized Block Design. The first factor was clone consisting of Sul 1 and Sul 2 clones. The second factor was the concentration of liquid organic fertilizer consisting of concentration of liquid organic fertilizer by 0.0%, concentration of liquid organic fertilizer by 0.25%, concentration of liquid organic fertilizer by 0.50%, and concentration of liquid organic fertilizer by 0.75%. The data were analyzed by using analysis of variance of median value test done with BNJ 5%. The research showed that the concentration of liquid organic fertilizer by 0.75% is better on Sul 1 clone. It was shown by more numerous and long shoots, more numerous and wide leaves and the more total chlorophyll. Mean while, the concentration of liquid organic fertilizer which is better for Sul 2 clone is the 0.50%.       it was shown by more numerous and long shoots, more numerous and wide leaves and the more total chlorophyll.
