Abstract

Mocaf industry in West Kalimantan is located in Singkawang but it is still underdeveloped. Strategic development should be formulated to advance mocaf industry in Singkawang so that  it can achieve its aims and increase the competitiveness in agro-industy. The aims of this research is to identify internal and external factors that influence the development of mocaf agro-industry; and to determine alternative strategies, the best strategy and development strategy priority. This is a descriptive research which  location and number of respondents sample were purposively selected. Data collection used is Delphi Model. Internal and external factors analysis used are IFE Matrix and EFE Matrix. Determination of alternative strategy used is SWOT Analysis. Determination of the strategy priority used is QSPM Matrix. The strength of agro-industry is the excellence of mocaf characteristics. The weakness is the poor management skills of agro-industrialist. The opportunity is the increasing of flour industry. The threat for mocaf agro-industry is the tight competition at cassava industry. The most appropriate strategies are: optimize technology implementation and improve human resource capability. The first priority of development strategy is optimizing the implementation of processing technology to assure product quality. Keywords: strategy, agro-industry, mocaf.

Abstract

This study, entitled the Analysis of Efficiency of Designated Area on Producing Factors on Hybrid Corn at Joined Agribisnis Area (Kawasan Usaha Agribisnis Terpadu), Rasau Jaya Complex in Kuburaya Regency, aims to investigate the efficiency of using producing factors applied by famers in Bintang Mas village on Hybrid Corns. This research is also to analyse the level of scale of corn farmimg in Bintang Mas village. The methodology of this research is survey with Bintang Mas village as the place for the research held in Rasau Jaya Distrct, Kubu Raya Regency.         Kubu Raya is one of the places which plants corns and has become one of the centers for corn farming. It is also a designated area on corn farming. There are about 105 familiies working in this farming. The tool of the researach is simple random sampling. The scores for Adjusted R Square on this hybrid corn regression is 0,781 (78%). The research finding shows that the use of hybrid corn seeds, urea fertiliser, nitrofosca fertiliser, herbiside, and work have been working efficiently. Natural fertiliser has been used efficiently for 2.732 kg/ha. According to return to scale, the corn farming in Bintang Mas village is 2,21. This shows that the farming has an increase trend (increasing return to scale)

Abstract

This study aims to determine the structure and performance of the market, the costs, margins, marketing advantage, the farmer's share and profit margin ratio on each channel rubber marketing people in order to know the level of marketing efficiency.Determining the location and number of samples penelitiandilakukan intentionally (purposive) in District Kelam Permai Sintang, West Kalimantan.The market structure in the village, district and county are oligopsony low concentrations, indicating that traders do not have the level of power in influencing pasar.Hasili This study shows:1. Farmers still use the channel 3 (three) on the type of lump bowl and channels 3 and 4 on the type of bamboo lump fraction farmers because farmers are still bound by the village and district collectors.2. I channel marketing and channel I lump bowl bamboo lump most efficient marketing.

Abstract

Yazmi, Financial Analysis of White Pepper Farmers (Piper Nigrum Linn) Business  in Desa Ratu Sepudak Kecamatan Galing Kabupaten Sambas Provinsi Kalimantan Barat under the guidance of Dr. Ir. Adi Suyatno, MP as the first supervisor  and Imelda, SP., M.Sc as the second supervisor. This research aims to evaluate the financial feasibility of farming the white pepper in desa Sepudak kecamatan Galing  kabupaten Sambas provinsi Kalimantan Barat. The research location is determined intentionally (purposive sampling) with the consideration that the area is one of the areas that became the center of the pepper and potential areas for development of pepper plants which all farmers who get help seed the pepper through facilitation of seeds events in order to development pepper as research object ( 71 people). The analysis of data use NPV, Net B / C, IRR, Payback Period and Sensitivity. The results showed that the farming of white pepper that has 1 hectare is Rp. 1107063450 with operational costs Rp. 351 250 744. If the interest rate of 9% per year, then the NPV is achieved is Rp. 770.812706, Net B / C ratio of 3.15, an IRR of 79.56% and a payback period for 3 years 4 months. Based on the criteria of this investment, the white pepper farms in desa Ratu Sepudak deserve financially on the run. The sensitivity analysis shows that the business remains viable for grown despite an increase in operational costs such as wages rise by 15% per year, assuming a fixed benefit, decrease in selling prices by 56.99% and seed procurement costs included in cost of investment. Analysis shows switching value if the decline in selling price by 87.3%, or Rp. 20 432 per kg and a decrease in productivity of 87.3% or 511 kg / ha at which the productivity of farmers do not benefit or loss (breakeven).Keywords : Financial Analysis, Farming White Pepper, Sensitivity Analysis.

Abstract

Bread is an additional food favored by people in Sambas Regency. One of the businesses engaged in making baked bread is "Halal and Delicious Guarantee (Jaminan Halal Nikmat-JHN)" bread of Wangi Madu which is located in Sepuk Tanjung Village, Sebawi District, Sambas Regency. This JHN was founded by Mr. Tiong Nyit Kong in 2010, with a household scale. Production, sales and production leftover from January to March 2017 have decreased every month. One of the factors that causes the production and sales of bread to decline monthly is the reduced purchasing power of consumers against JHN's bread. Therefore, it is necessary to examine how "Marketing Strategy for Baked Bread" Halal Delicious Guarantee of Wangi Madu (Scented Honey) in Sepuk Tanjung Village, Sebawi District, Sambas Regency". In determining the marketing strategy, analysis of internal and external factors was used, then processed using SWOT analysis. From the IFE / EFE analysis, obtained seven strengths with the main strength is to have complete permits and halal certificates with a value of 0,313. Six weaknesses, with its main weakness is that the product is not durable with a value of 0,307. Four opportunities, the biggest opportunity with a value of 0,508 is Consumer Loyalty. Four threats with the main threat value of 0.463 is the rise of online cake traders / sellers. Based on the results of the SWOT analysis, Ten strategies are obtained, namely: introducing current products and expanding the marketing area, developing product variants or adding new products, openness and cooperation, production and sales forecasting, improving product packaging, improving product quality by adding flavors and size, recruiting personnel in certain fields and increasing vehicles, increasing creativity for processing new products that are more in demand by consumers, increasing promotional efforts, creating websites and social media accounts about JHN’s Bread.Keywords : bread, Halal Delicious Guarantee (Jaminan Halal Nikmat-JHN), marketing strategy

Abstract

Investments in oil palm plantations should be carefully and thoroughly, because the large funding needs and continuous fund spending. The research goal is to determine the feasibility investment Ladang Sawit Kendawangan Plantation on condition decline of CPO and Kernel selling prices. This reseach used a combination of secondary data from relevant agencies and primary data by collecting some opinions from the plantation Manager and  Ladang Sawit Kendawangan Plantation employee subdistrict Kendawangan in Ketapang.The analysis method used is the investment criteria analysis which consists Net Present Value (NPV), Internal Rate of Return (IRR), Net B / C Ratio, Payback Periods and Sensitivity Analysis. The results from analysis feasibility of PT. Ladang Sawit Kendawangan Plantation an area of 2,485 Ha are still feasible, the feasibility level is indicated by the value of NPV  Rp 56,553,315,900 for 25 years earning period, IRR 22.05%, Net B / C ratio 1.24 and a payback period 4.6 years, The results of the sensitivity analysis with three scenarios: 1) a decrease in the price of CPO and Kernel 10%. 2) 10% increase in input costs. and 3) a decrease and cost increase of respectively 10%, showed the plantation is still feasible.Keywords : Investment Feasibility, Sensitivity analysis, Ladang Sawit Kendawangan Plantation

Abstract

ABSTRACT In general, the problem of poverty is closely linked to agricultural problems in Indonesia. The worst problem for most Indonesian farmer with limited capital is owned by the farmer. In order to overcome these problems, program Pengembangan Usaha Agribisnis Perdesaan (PUAP). PUAP was one of agriculture in West Kalimantan, especially in the Landak District where have been implemented with the funds as much as Rp.100.000.000,00.- For every poor village or famers federation (Gapoktan). One of the districts that have received the Desa Mandor of the PUAP funding are which is the potential for the development of rice plants, especially in the Desa Ngarak. The PUAP grants distribution were through farmers group federation (Gapoktan) of the certain village. This study aims to analyze the ratio of the average income of rice farmers PUAP and the average income of farmers in Desa Ngarak non PUAP District Mandor Porcupine District. This study aims to analyze the ratio of the average income of rice farmers PUAP and the average income of farmers in the Desa Ngarak non PUAP Sub District Overseer Landak. The Results of data analysis from this study showed the average income of PUAP farmers amounted Rp.16.754.637/Th/Ha, and the average non PUAP farmers income amounted Rp.13.037.452/Th/Ha. The results showed there were differences in the average income of rice farmers PUAP with an average income of rice farmers non PUAP. Abstract

Business Investment Feasibility Analysis of Fish Hatchery in Local Fish Breeding Center (BBI) of Kubu Raya Regency. Development of freshwater fish farming in Kubu Raya regency is highly depends on the availability of qualified fish seed, since it is the input for the fish farmers. In relation with the provision of qualified fish seeds, the local government through the Department of Fisheries and Marine has build a local fish breeding center (BBI) in Kubu Raya regencyas aunit that produces qulified fish seed. It aimstomeet the needs of fish seed in Kubu Raya, so that may contribute toan increase in local revenue (PAD). The objective of this researchare: to analyze the demand of the type and the amount of fish seeds in Kubu Raya regency, how muchfish seeds produced in accordance with the capacity of facilities and infrastructure in BBI;to analyze the feasibility of a fish hatchery business investments, how much profit sobtained compared to costs incurred by local governments which can contribute to the increased of PAD; and to analyze the sensitivity of investment feasibility fish hatchery operations in the event of changes in the factors that may affect the benefits and costs . This research was conducted by using a qualitative descriptive and Microsoft Excel program to assess the feasibility of business investment in fish hatchery local BBI of Kubu Raya regency. Based on the analysis of fish seed demand in Kubu Raya regency, namely 4.084 million seed catfish, 2.776 million tilapia and 808.640 carp, while in West Kalimantan fish seed requirement are 36,106,560 catfish, 20,913,680 tilapia and 20,482,880 carp. Fish seed production capacity in local BBI of Kubu Raya Regency is 2.288 million seed catfish, 1.884 million seed tilapia and 1.055 million seedcarp. The results of the feasibility analysis of business investment in fish hatchery local BBI of Kubu Raya regency shows NPV = 4,698,084, Net B/C 1.19, IRR 16.17% and PBP 5 years 1 month with10 years project duration, and thus the investment business in fish hatchery local BBI of Kubu Raya regencyis feasible. Sensitivity analysis shows that if there is an increase of production costs (feed, fertilizer, lime and drugs) of 7.62%, the value of profitability NPV = 4,575,511, net B/C 1.101, IRR 16, 11%, and PBP 5 years 6 months. In conclusion, business investment of fish hatcheries in local BBI Kubu Raya regency is feasible. Keywords : Demand seeds , investment feasibility, fish hatchery, Local BBI .

Abstract

The purpose of this thesis is " To know the factors - factors that berpengaruhi in household demand on rice production Kubu Raya district and to determine the elasticity of demand for domestic rice production Kubu Raya District " . The method used in this study uses survey research locations selected by purposive sampling ( intentionally ) and respondents were selected directly at the study site ( accidental ) that is at the center of local sales of processed rice farmers Kubu Raya district ( Store Langsat Mas ) . Criteria for respondents who selected that consumer households who are married and are buying local rice ( rice produced by farmers in Kubu Raya district ) of sample was 40 respondents .. The variables examined in the study are the following : 1 ) Number of Family Members , 2 ) Local Rice Price , 3 ) . Non- local rice prices . , 4 ) . Household income . The results showed household demand functions to rice production Kubu Raya District as follows : Ln Y = -2.621 + 0.127 +1.536 ln JTK lnPdp - 0.163 + 0.358 lnHbl lnHbn + e. Domestic demand on rice production Kubu Raya regency significantly influenced by the number of family members while the local rice price factors , the price of rice non-local factors and factors of household income had no significant effect . Price elasticity at the request of the households of Kubu Raya regency rice production is inelastic , income elasticity suggests that local rice is included in the category of normal goods and that the cross-price analysis based on non- local rice is included as substitutes.
