The purpose of this study was to assess the effect of climate change on agricultural production. This study uses secondary data, that is rainfall data and agricultural production data as a baseline. This study examined descriptive statistics using maps, tables and graphs. The results showed a trend towards a decrease in agricultural production in all districts/cities. Red chili is one of the horticultural vegetables cultivated by farmers. Chili commodity prices tend to fluctuate so that it takes the management of the supply chain to be more efficient. The design of red chili commodity supply chain includes upstream and downstream management. Supply chain concept is a concept that saw the entire activity of the company is an integrated part. In this case the integration of companies in the upstream in providing raw materials and integration at the downstream in the distribution and marketing of products. SCM is a set of approaches that are applied to suppliers, entrepreneurs, warehouses and other storage areas efficiently to products produced and distributed with the right quality, location and the right time to reduce costs and satisfy customer needs. This paper is a review of literature related to the supply chain of red pepper. In this paper the focus was discussed on the upstream (upstream) and downstream (downstream) commodity suintegration supply chain that contained chili pepper prices rise towering is also included with the physical condition of chili that was not fresh anymore. Plus the market is not well ordered, thus affecting the marketing activities of red pepper. In addition to the institutional role of the supply chain for farmers is necessary to ensure the balance of the price of pepper at both farmers and end-consumer level. Last to maintain price stability and availability of red chili the farmer and the final consumer is to create and design an industrial cluster of red chillies.

Corn (Zea mays) is one of the strategic commodities for a food-producing carbohydrates after rice. Beside that, corn is also used as animal feed, extracted oil, made of flour, and industrial raw materials. Obstacles encountered in increasing the productivity of corn are limited farmers in the allocation of factors of production, so that productivity is not optimal. This research obtain to determine the factors affecting productivity and efficiency of production factors on corn farming in District Lubuk Pinang Mukomuko. The method used is a survey method. Locations were selected purposively in Lubuk Pinang district Mukomuko. This research was conducted in June-August 2016. The sampling technique using proportional random sampling. Data analysis techniques to identify factors that affecting the productivity of corn used Cobb-Douglass production function and to analyze the efficiency of production factors used allocative efficiency. The results showed that with all the factors of production used very significant effect on the productivity of corn, while individually the factors of land, seeds, urea and Phonska very significant effect, whereas the amount of pesticides and labor not significant effect to the productivity of corn. The use of production factors pesticides and labor inefficient , while the use of land area, number of seeds, fertilizers urea and phonska under efficient.

Fresh Fruit Bunch (TBS) price declines as a result of the volatility in global CPO prices likely to impact farmers in the areas of oil producers, including Musi Banyuasin District in South Sumatera which became one of the oil producers in the province. The impact is most felt is in independent farmers because the price received by independent farmers are not a price which set by the government but the price set between independent smallholders with middlemen. The decline in prices which affects the revenue decline is certainly threatening the sustainability of farming palm forward, especially in the group of independent smallholders. This condition is tested in this study aimed to analyze the impact of price reductions TBS towards sustainability forward through comparative analysis of the condition before and after the price increase TBS. From the research results prove that the decline in TBS production as a result of farming is not done in ideal due to a decreased ability to buy inputs, especially fertilizers. The decline in production and the declining price of TBS continued impact on lower revenue and income of farmers. For strengthening the testing, the results of this study also proves that the received opinion as a result of falling prices make farmers' lives getting away from standard living needs (KHL), wherein the mean average income of farmers for price reductions of Rp2.309.848,19 per family, while the average KHL by Rp3.781.551,81 per month per family. If this condition is not immediately addressed, the behavior of farmers in cultivation of oil palm will move away from the ideal conditions, and farmers are likely to switch to other more profitable farming and leave its oil palm plantations replaced with plants and other businesses.

in Indonesia as well as examine the causes of these changes. The method used in this research is the empirical method that uses statistical and econometric analysis tool in the classification of time series models. Data are obtained from the Central Bureau of Statistics, the secondary data are monthly data of dry milled grain price in producer level and rice price in consumer level from 2008 to 2015. The analysis showed the rice price that uses real price data both at the level of producer and consumer are showed an upward trend. It means beside inflation, there is another factor that caused the rising of rice prices. The rice price in Indonesia tends to increase every year, it is also seemed to fluctuate over time, with a larger price fluctuations at the farm level than consumer level. The rice price in producer and consumer level did not move with the same pattern in 2014, this led to the difference marketing margins among the time. Differences rice marketing margin is due to the structure of the rice market in Indonesia is imperfectly competitive market or tend to oligopsony / oligopoly, in the market of rice trader is a price maker while
